Abstract

本发明涉及一种用于把两塑料零件连接起来的电焊元件,它由导电塑料制成,既可以用固有导电塑料制成,也可以用非固有导电塑料制成。在一最佳实施例中,该电焊元件1包括一由圆柱形套管2和3构成的电焊部分和一由把该两套管2和3连接起来的中间部分4构成的热量控制部分,一种用于把两塑料管子连接起来的电焊连接件可以通过在该电焊元件上包容模制塑料套管来制成,该套管上装有通电端子。

Description

本发明涉及一种用于把两热塑性塑料零件连接起来的电焊连接件的制造方法,及采用该方法制得的电焊连接件。
设计一种特别适用于把热塑性塑料管,例如,一般用聚乙烯制成的气体或水或其他流体分配管道的管子连接起来的可电焊套管。
常用的电焊方法是采用一埋置在连接件中的电阻加热丝将管子的接触表面加热,达到所用材料的焊接温度,通常,这种连接件是采用在加热丝上注模的方法制造的。
除特别指明以外,本文所用“塑料”一词是指“热塑性塑料”这一通常采用的广义词,从该词的狭义上说,它特指那种处于硬的状态,即不是呈塑性状态的热塑性塑料。
在过去的十多年里,日本和美国的实验室开发了一些由固有导电聚合物构成的革命性的材料。这些聚合物由于其中掺有(碘、钠、汞…等)离子而具有导电性,这些离子使电子易于沿着电子链自由移动,亦即导电。
这些塑料除了自身特点(机械性质,光泽,使用方便,制造成本…等)以外,它们还具有一定程度的导电性,其导电程度可通过改变掺入物的浓度来调整。
一直在开发几种应用。首先,这些材料用在全部由塑料制成或带有塑料制电极的电池或蓄电池中来储存能量。一种带有聚苯胺(palyaniline)电极的蓄电池目前已在市场上销售。另一种应用是利用某些聚合物在加上电压时发生色彩变化的性质来制造显示屏。另一方面的开发涉及一种由聚合物制成的导电分子线,这种分子可用作一种在一电极与一些融聚在该线上的敏感功能基团之间传递信息的链。
还一直在开发一些更常见的非固有导电塑料,它们含有金属纤维或粉末、或炭黑等添加物。
法国专利2586036(Kao    Corporation    and    Yoshino)说明了一种制备一种固有导电聚合物的方法。该方法中,将一种电解质和一种芳香族化合物或其衍生物的单体溶解或分散在一种极性化的有机介质中,在形成的带有至少一种金属离子的溶液中或分散物中进行电化学阳极氧化,这种金属离子可选自:铜、二价银、三价铁、三价锰、钌、铼和铑。
法国专利2586133(Protavic)说明了一种含有精细分散的镍的、改进的非固有导电聚合混合物。在这种混合物中导电性本质上是由互相建立了电接触的金属颗粒产生的,这些金属颗粒可以是银、镍、铝、铜…等。
本发明涉及这些非固有或固有导电塑料的一种新颖的应用。它涉及采用由这类塑料制成的一种电焊插入件制造电焊连接件的方法。
本方法的主要优点在于实施方便且制造成本低。正象本领域的许多专利所表明的那样,在将一常用的螺施状加热丝装到一塑料成形件中或一塑料成形件上时,会出现一些严重的可靠性问题和焊接质量问题。
这些方法的主要缺点是在进行包容模制之前或过程中,会发生加热丝膨胀和移动的危险。
在包容模制之前,只能通过将加热丝以一定的张力绕在一成形件的表面上来使其适当就位。然而,这样张紧可能是错误的,例如由于操作者在卷绕过程中的差错或者由于在存放过程中套管直径因外界大气状况变化尤其是过大的湿度而改变时所发生的错误。
另外,在将加热丝绕在有沟槽的套管上时很难调整所施加的拉紧力。必须对该加热丝施加相当大的拉紧力才能使其可靠地嵌入螺旋形沟槽的底部。然而,不应对加热丝施加过大的拉力,因为那样会使其直径减小而且使其最后的电阻值比所需要的大,因而在焊接过程中就有发生问题的危险。
在包容模制过程中,包容模制的塑料的粘性力也可能使加热丝移动。
这样的位移如果发生,将会降低焊接质量,引起热量不均匀分布。而且还有在连接件中产生气泡的危险,这也会降低焊接质量。
还可以在一连接件内采用一加热插入件,用于在现场通过在管道上制出一孔来设置一分支连接。
这种连接件一般制成为包住管道的两部分。这种孔是在焊接以后通过将管道上需要设置孔的部位加热来制出,加热可采用一加热电阻进行。
一直在设法以与连接套管相同的方式提供一种用于这种分支连接的预制加热插入件。
在例如法国专利2171223(Kallmaplast    AG)所叙述的现有技术中,将一呈螺旋线形或其他形状的绝缘电阻丝通过包容模注埋置在一鞍形件的主体内。
相反,法国专利2519578(Innovation    Techniqne    Sam)说明了一种预制插入件。该插入件包括一相当薄的模制片,该模制片上有一可装入一螺线状加热丝的凹槽,该插入件最好是在模制鞍形件时用来装在该鞍形件的内侧面。
正如这些现有文件所表明,这样装入一个螺线形加热丝也要引起可靠性和焊接质量问题。
在这种情况里,也存在着上述的加热丝位移、膨胀及调整电焊成形件等问题。
本发明的方法适于制造一种自熔连接件,即,以一种非常简单的配置就可以在焊接所需能量正确弥散开时自动切断电流。
在现有的电焊连接件中,用于切断电流的装置相当复杂。
按照法国专利2572327(Toutelectric    Sam    MC),一种控制焊接时间的装置包括一连接在主电路中用于手动切换和由微动开关控制切换的继电器,而该微动开关本身由焊接过程中熔化的物质的膨胀压力控制。这些微动开关安置在一些靠近通电端子并且在套管或鞍形件的壁上向下挖空到靠近加热丝线圈的凹坑内。该焊接时间控制装置适用于连接管状元件的套管,也适用于通过在一管状元件上制出一孔来设置分支连接的鞍形件。
按照法国专利229743(Geberit    AG),该连接件上靠近每个通电端子的部位有一个带有薄盘形温度指示器的套管,该薄盘上涂有颜色随温度变化的彩色涂料。该温度指示器与一光敏传感器相配用,当该薄盘变成某一确定颜色时,该传感器便将电源切断。
按照欧洲专利93821(Geberit    AG),导电丝上设有一开关,用于当焊接所需能量传输过去后将电路切断。
与这些用于中断电焊的复杂结构不同,本发明提出了一种特别简单的用于控制焊接热量的系统,该系统无需安装额外的装置,而且因为其热量控制元件与电焊插入件构成一体,所以在模制电焊插入件过程中就能很简单地实现。
本发明提供一种用于将两塑料元件连接起来的电焊元件,其特点在于它是由导电塑料构成的;所用导电塑料可以是某种固有导电塑料,即,某种掺有(碘、钠、汞……等)离子的聚合物,或者,也可以是某种非固有导电塑料,即,某种含有金属纤维或粉末、或炭黑…等的塑料。
因此本发明无需嵌入加热丝之类的物体,而是用构成电焊元件的塑料直接导电。
本发明也无需安装用于切断电流的附加装置,因为本电焊元件包括至少一个与之构成一体的乃是该元件的多余部分的且由同种塑料制成的热量控制部分。
另外,本发明还提供了一种特别简单和优越的通电端子安装结构。这些通电端子制成为单体零件,当将那些准备焊在一起的零件及电焊元件装配就位后,只要将通电端子零件接入导电塑料制成的电焊元件即可,例如,将一端拧入所述的电焊元件,这样便提供了一电流路径。
由于采用这种方式安装通电端子,而且省略了加热丝,因此,本发明避免了在加热丝和通电端子之间作复杂而又困难的连接。
在特别用于将管状元件连接起来的第一个最佳实施例中,电焊元件包括一至少由一个、而且最好是两个圆柱形套管构成的电焊部分,和一由把两电焊套管连接起来的中间部分构成的热量控制部分,而且这一部分设置成可使电流均匀地流过这些导电塑料套管。
该热量控制部分最好由至少一个连接两套管的条带构成。
在特别用于借助一孔进行分支连接的第二个最佳实施例中,电焊元件包括一呈部分圆片状的电焊部分,用于安装通电端子的部分借助热量控制部分连接于该电焊部分,该热量控制部分最好由沿圆弧延伸的条带构成。
本发明还涉及所述电焊元件的应用,即用于制造一种把管子连接起来用的电焊连接件和一种在现场借助在管子上制出一孔来设置分支连接的电焊连接件。
下文结合仅表示最佳实施例的附图对本发明作更详细的说明。
图1是本发明的一种特别用于把塑料管连接起来的电焊元件的立体图;
图2是一种用于把塑料管连接起来的包括图1所示元件的电焊连接件的立体图;
图3是本发明的特别用于把管子连接起来的一种变型电焊元件的立体图;
图4是采用图3所示元件制成的一种电焊连接件的局部立体图;
图5是本发明的一种特别用于通过在一管子上制出一孔来设置一电焊分支连接的电焊元件的平面图;
图6是本发明的电焊元件的一个应用例子的剖视图;
图7是本发明的一个通电端子的局部剖视图。
图1和2表示了本发明的元件的第一个最佳实施例。
电焊元件1由导电塑料制成。这种塑料既可以是某种固有导电塑料,即掺有(碘、钠、汞…等的)离子的聚合物,也可以是某种非固有的导电塑料,即,含有金属纤维或粉末、或炭黑…等添加物的塑料。
元件1包括两个焊接部分2和3,每个部分均由一适当厚度和成分的圆柱形套管构成,用于传递两个要连接在一起的管子焊接时所需的热量。该两电焊部分2和3通过一作为热量控制部分的中间部分4互相连接。元件1还设有两部分5和6,供安装通电端子用。
热量控制部分4配置成可使电流均匀地流过两套管的可熔材料。为了实现这一目的,该部分由与两套管2和3相连接的条带状可溶材料构成,并配置成与两互相对准的套管成一线,该热量控制部分又位于与用来安装通电端子5和6的两部分所在的母线径向相对的母线上。另外,该热量控制部分的尺寸设计成:当电流流过导电塑料而充分发热以致使该元件与需要连接的管子的接触面发生熔化并因此而焊接在一起时,所述的条带4会完全熔化掉,从而切断两通电端子之间的电流,并因此自动中断电焊过程。
图2表示了元件1用于制成一连接件的最佳应用,该元件构成了一电焊插入件1,包容该插入件1的是用注模法制造的一外套管7,从而制成了一连接件,将需要连接的管子分别插入该连接件的两端,然后将通电端子装在部分5和6上,至此,进行电焊的装配就准备完华。
因为导电塑料是可注射的,因此,插入件可以有各种形状。
图3和4表示了上述电焊元件及电焊连接件的一种变型实施例。
在这一变型实施例中,如图3所示,圆柱形套管不是呈整体状的而是由螺旋形缠绕的导电塑料条带构成的。同一塑料条带同时构成了两套管和中间的直线状热量控制部分4。在图3所示的例子中,两螺线管2和3是以相反方向绕制的,不过它们也完全可以以相同方向绕制。
热量控制部分4以与图1所示的例子相同的方式设置和确定尺寸。
图4表示采用那种其外侧有包容模制的外套管7的电焊元件1制成的用于连接管子的电焊连接件的局部立体图。
图5表示本发明的电焊元件的第二个最佳实施例。
该元件同样也由导电塑料制成。这种塑料既可以是固有导电塑料,即,掺有(碘、钠、汞…等)离子的聚合物,也可以是非固有导电塑料,即,那些含有金属纤维或粉末、或炭黑等添加物的塑料。
如上所示的电焊元件10是由一导电塑料片构成,它基本上呈部分圆形。它包括一由在两平行线12和13之间截取的圆盘构成的电焊部分11,用于安装通电端子14和15的部分径向相对地设置在所述截掉的部位并借助两热量控制部分16和17与该截取的圆盘相连接,每一热量控制部分由沿着构成元件10的整个轮廓的圆周设置的导电塑料条带构成。
热量控制条带16和17设置成可使电流均匀地流过塑料片11的可熔化塑料。为了实现这一目的,它们相对于圆盘的中心对称设置。另外,它们的尺寸设计成当电流流过导电塑料而发出的热量足以使元件11与需要焊接在一起的管子的接触面发生熔化并因此而焊接在一起时,部分16和17将完全熔化掉,从而切断端子14和15之间的电流,并因此自动中断电焊过程。
电焊元件11还设有一中心孔18,该孔与用于设置分支连接孔的并且无需焊接的中心部位相对应。
电焊元件10用于制造一电焊连接件,而该连接件用于借助一穿过塑料管的孔设置分支连接。为实现此目的,元件11构成了一带有包容模制的鞍形连接部分的插入件,而该插入件用于固定在设有孔的管道上。
图6是本发明的电焊元件的另一种结构布置的剖视图。
套管20用于将两个零件30和40连接起来,每个零件的连接部位均有一内扩孔,用于容纳仅呈套管状的电焊元件20。
将两个通电端子(下文将更详细地说明)拧入零件30和40的连接部分并穿入电焊套管20的厚度达到一定的深度,以便将电压施加于该套管,从而进行电焊。
安装电焊插入件的这一方法还可应用于制造使上述管子互相连接或设置分支连接用的连接件。制造这种连接件不必进行任何包容模制,而是可将电焊插入件通过嵌套或者类似的方法,装入一预制的外套管7或鞍形件内。这样,电焊元件、外套管以及分支连接鞍形件均可以模制方式制造,当需要焊接时,将它们在现场装配在一起就行了。
最后,在一个最廉价的实施例中,只用一次操作就可以用一个有可伸缩型芯的模子把插入件和外部元件一并注射成形。这种制造方法可将这种产品的成本降低50%以上。
图7表示通电端子50的一个实施例。该端子可插过包围电焊元件的外面部分,并插入该电焊元件,以便使电流流过该电焊元件。这种插入最好是采用螺纹连接。为此该端子上有一适于直接拧入外面部分和内部元件之塑料的带有尖头和螺纹的自攻部分51。它还包括一常规的电连接部分52以及一最好由塑料制成的常规外套53。
总之,当使用非固有导电塑料时,可以将添加物的特性定义为所需能量的函数,而且这些添加物可以不均匀地分布,例如,使其在元件表面的密度低于在元件内部的密度,以便根据需要调整导电性。

Claims (24)

1、一种用于把两塑料制零件连接起来的电焊元件,该电焊元件特别是由注模法制成的,以便与一塑料制外面部分相配用,其特征在于,该元件是由导电塑料构成的。
2、如权利要求1所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件是由固有导电塑料构成的。
3、如权利要求1所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件是由非固有导电塑料构成的。
4、如前述任何一个权利要求所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括至少一个与之构成一体的热量控制部分。
5、如前述任何一个权利要求所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括至少一个由圆柱形套管2、3、20构成的电焊部分。
6、如权利要求5所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括一由把两个电焊套管2和3连接起来的中间部分构成的热量控制部分。
7、如权利要求5所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该热量控制部分是由至少一个把电焊套管2和3连接起来的导电塑料条带4构成的。
8、如权利要求5到7中之任一所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括分别位于套管两相对端的、用于安装通电端子5和6的部分。
9、如权利要求8所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该热量控制条带4位于套管的与安装通电端子5和6的部分所在的母线径向相对的母线的方向上。
10、如权利要求5到9中之任一所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,诸圆柱形套管是实体的。
11、如权利要求5到9中之任一个所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,所述的圆柱形套管是由一绕成螺旋状的条带构成的。
12、如权利要求1到4中之任一个所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括一个部分圆片形11的电焊部分。
13、如权利要求12所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该部分圆片11呈一由两平行直线截取的圆盘形。
14、如权利要求13所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,该元件包括用于安装通电端子14、15的部分,它们位于圆片11的径向相对地截去的部分。
15、如权利要求14所述的电焊元件,其特征在于,热量控制部分是由导电塑料条带构成的,它们使圆片沿着圆弧延伸到其被截去的部分并把圆片11与安装通电端子14、15的部分连接起来。
16、一种用于与权利要求1到15中之任一个所述的电焊元件相连接的通电端子,其特征在于,它包括一导电部分,该导电部分包括适于机械地插入塑料的机械插入装置。

20、如权利要求18所述的连接件,其特征在于,该连接件的插入件和外套管是7是在一个有一可伸缩型芯的单一模具中经一次操作模制而成的。
21、如权利要求18所述的连接件,其特征在于,该外套管7是预制成的且有容纳电焊插入件的部分。
22、一种用于借助一穿过塑料管子的孔设置分支连接的电焊连接件,其特征在于,它包括一如权利要求12到15中之任一个所述的插入件,构成一鞍形件的外侧上面部分,和一下外侧下面部分。
23、如权利要求22所述的连接件,其特征在于,该塑料鞍形件是包容模制在该插入件外面的。
