Abstract

一种电连接器组件(100),其包括:绝缘本体(1),收容于所述绝缘本体中的若干导电端子(2)及与所述绝缘本体结合在一起的金属壳体(3),所述金属壳体镶埋成型于所述绝缘本体中,金属壳体镶埋成型于绝缘本体中,金属壳体与绝缘本体之间的安装间隙被密封,这样外部的液体不能通过金属壳体与绝缘本体之间的间隙进入电连接器组件内而引起短路。电连接器组件具有防水的作用,且结构简单制程方便。

【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器组件,特别涉及一种电子设备上的作为信号输入/输出(I/O)接口的电连接器组件。
【背景技术】
电连接器组件广泛应用于计算机、笔记本电脑、多媒体播放器等电子设备上作为输入/输出接口与外部信号或电源传输线缆相通,在一些应用场合要求电子设备具备防水功能,相应地要求其上的电连接器组件也具备防水的功能。
现有的电连接器组件,在使用过程中,外界水汽或液体容易进入电连接器组件内部,进而导致电连接器组件无法进行信号或电力的传输。
因此,有必要提供一种新的电连接器组件,以解决上述问题。
【发明内容】
本发明的主要目的在于提供一种可以防水的电连接器组件。
为实现上述目的,本发明可采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器组件,其包括:绝缘本体,收容于所述绝缘本体中的若干导电端子及与所述绝缘本体结合在一起的金属壳体,所述金属壳体镶埋成型于所述绝缘本体中。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器组件的有益效果在于:金属壳体镶埋成型于绝缘本体中,金属壳体与绝缘本体之间的安装间隙被密封,这样外部的液体不能通过金属壳体与绝缘本体之间的间隙进入电连接器组件内而引起短路。电连接器组件具有防水的作用,且结构简单制程方便。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1和图4,本发明电连接器组件100为一电子设备的信号输入/输出(I/O)接口,贴附于印刷电路板(未图示),其用于与一插头连接器(未图示)对接,而实现电连接器组件100与其他设备之间的信号传输。电连接器组件100包括绝缘本体1、收容于绝缘本体1中的若干导电端子2、与绝缘本体1镶埋成型在一起的金属壳体3,绝缘本体1密封绝缘本体1与金属壳体3的安装间隙(未图示)。
请参阅图1至图3,金属壳体3与绝缘本体1均通过镶埋成型结合在一起。绝缘本体1包括框体部11,位于框体部11内的舌板部12,框体部11具有顶壁(未标示)、由顶壁两端向下延伸形成的两个侧壁(未标示)、由顶壁后端向下形成的后壁(未标示)及连接所述后壁、两个侧壁并与所述顶壁平形的底壁(未标示),框体部11后壁向前凸伸形成的舌板部12。舌板部12设有位于其上表面沿前后方向延伸的若干收容槽121,收容槽121延伸至绝缘本体1的后表面。绝缘本体1的框体部11上设有位于其底壁、两个侧壁的若干凹槽111及位于其顶壁的穿孔112。在模具型腔中,成型绝缘本体1时,固定金属壳体3,在绝缘本体1框体部11的顶壁、两侧壁、底壁上形成若干凹槽111。
请参阅图3,导电端子2收容于收容槽121,若干导电端子2设有对接部21、Z型尾部23及连接对接部21与尾部23的卡持部22,尾部23设有延伸出绝缘本体1后表面的上水平部231,平行于上水平部231的下水平部233及连接上水平部231、下水平部233的竖直部232。
请参阅图3,所述金属壳体3前后贯通,其设有顶壁31、由顶壁31两侧向下弯折形成的侧壁32、由顶壁31后端向下弯折形成的两个支撑臂33、由两个支撑臂33向前弯折形成的底壁34,底壁34两侧延伸出绝缘本体1且设有安装孔340。金属壳体3的两个支撑臂33位于收容槽121的两侧。请参阅图2,金属壳体3设有由其顶壁31向下凹陷形成的若干抵接部310,抵接部310延伸至框体部11内,抵接部310穿过绝缘本体的穿孔112抵接于插头连接器。
由于金属壳体3镶埋成型于绝缘本体1中,金属壳体3与绝缘本体1之间的安装间隙被密封,这样外部的液体不能通过金属壳体3与绝缘本体1之间的间隙进入电连接器组件内而引起短路。电连接器组件具有防水的作用,且结构简单制程方便。

Claims (9)

1.一种电连接器组件,其包括:绝缘本体,收容于所述绝缘本体中的若干导电端子及与所述绝缘本体结合在一起的金属壳体,其特征在于:所述金属壳体镶埋成型于所述绝缘本体中。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有框体部及位于所述框体部内的舌板部,所述框体部具有顶壁、由所述顶壁两端向下延伸形成的两个侧壁、由所述顶壁后端向下形成的后壁及连接所述后壁、两个侧壁并与所述顶壁平形的底壁,所述舌板部由所述框体部后壁向前凸伸形成。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述舌板部设有位于其上表面沿前后方向延伸的若干收容槽,所述若干收容槽延伸至所述绝缘本体的后表面。
4.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体的框体部上设有位于所述底壁、两个侧壁的若干凹槽。
5.如权利要求3所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述导电端子收容于所述收容槽,所述若干导电端子设有对接部、尾部及连接所述对接部与尾部的卡持部。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述尾部呈Z型,其设有延伸出所述绝缘本体后表面的上水平部,平行于所述上水平部的下水平部及连接所述上水平部、下水平部的竖直部。
7.如权利要求3所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述金属壳体前后贯通,其设有顶壁、由所述顶壁两侧向下弯折形成的侧壁、由所述顶壁后端向下弯折形成的两个支撑臂、由所述两个支撑臂向前弯折形成的底壁,所述底壁两侧延伸出所述绝缘本体且分别设有安装孔。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述金属壳体的两个支撑臂位于若干所述收容槽的两侧。
9.如权利要求7所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:所述金属壳体设有由其顶壁向下凹陷形成的若干抵接部,所述抵接部延伸至所述框体部内。
