Abstract

证件卡及其制造方法
本发明涉及一种证件卡(特别是信用卡)。及其制造方法,该证件卡具有一个含证明照片的图像区,其中用激光在护层或透明护层下面的中间层或套层中逐点置入具有不同的光吸收性的像点。
在德国专利DE3151407中披露的这种类型证件卡的制造过程中,将证明图片中的像点印在一个强烈吸收钕-钇铝柘榴石激光束的护层或者置于一透明涂盖层之下的吸收层或一个套层中,特别是置于涂盖层之下)可得到一个较高的防伪性。进行像点扫描时控制激光强度可得到一个高质量的灰色分层结构并由此得到的较好的黑白或单色图像质量,特别是要想达到一个较高像点密度时,象点扫描的强度控制可延缓图像的生成。
另外从德国专利DE3907415A1中可知,带有图像区的证件卡可在热转换多色印刷机中制造,其中高质量的彩色图像置于护层表面上,因而能相对容易改动或拆下或替换。
本发明的目的是提供一种具有高质量彩色像区的证件卡,它能提高卡的防伪安全性,另外,本发明还提供了该卡的一种生产方法。
该目的可以这样实现:在证件卡中用激光技术在图像置入单色和/或灰色或黑色部分。此外,相叠地置入有关图像的补充的彩色部分。
本发明的证件卡制造方法通过将图像分成一个激光技术生成部分和一个置于热转换方法中的补偿彩色部分可使图像得到一个较高的色彩强度,从而可根据人体特征对图像中的人物进行较好的鉴别。使用高技术的设备用拓宽的彩色复制和印刷技术对卡进行不同的加工使伪造变得困难。彩色印刷技术中最好使用能与相应的卡护层热塑性表面紧固接合的升华颜料并将其扩散进表面。这样可增加伪造的难度,因为彩色图像区表面光滑并没受到任何损害。
当可通过激光改变的原料成份或颜料准备好之后,用激光技术将图像部分直接置于护层之上。最好将激光图像部分置于一中间层或是通常含有白色物质的套层中,其中激光技术能量配置的选择使得在较深层中产生吸光性的变化,同时在透明护层中则一直保持不变。
将图像分成置于卡片上不同深度的两个部分,就能对只有一个部分的伪造品进行鉴别,因为在斜视时两个部分可相互移位,显得比较模糊。通过一个合适的方式改变激光的强度后产生激光图像,例如通过使用一个带状的较高或是较低的激光强度,由此在不足的吸收区中产生同样的强度变化,同样如果补充地产生彩色图像,可以增强以上效果并用于安全技术方面,使得直视时图像完全标准、均匀,斜视时安全(非伪造)图片会出现变色、变亮或变深颜色的边缘。
按已知方法,普通材料通过激光通常会产生一个黑色图像部分,它与光强有关,可以从灰色到白色,但是用合适的颜料能在激光加工照射区产生一个单色图像特别是由于激光而变成深蓝色的图像,这是因为在套层中的颜料发生了分解产生了蓝色分解物。在产生彩色图像时最好要依据此设有一个减少的颜色成份,从而概括产生一个包括黑色图像成分的标准彩色图像,激光图像中宽带吸收图像成分单独的产生大大节省了用于产生黑色部分和色彩强度的彩色图像中补充颜料的需要量,从而可以用相对少的颜料形成优质的图形。
在图1和图2中描述了有益的结构设计。

图2为信用卡在图像区放大的截面视图。
图1中的信用卡设有一个带信息微处理芯片(c)的区域和一个带有信用卡持有者派司照片的图像区(B)。使用者进一步的特征和信息通常被印在卡上或者置于一个卡上磁性或者光学数据载体中。
图2中优选的信用卡图像区(B)的横截面由1到4多个层组成,其中两个外层为塑料制成的透明护层(1,4),在上部护层(1)之下置有一个可通过激光改变的中间层(2),再下面就是套层(3),该套层(3)是不透明的并且最好在图像区为原白色。
中间层(2)包含一个由激光产生的、可通过对激光束曝光而改变其吸收特征的图像区(BL),亦即(BL)是图像区中的激光部分。护层(1)根据图像结构通过多种升华颜料的合并有一个彩色图像区(FB)。
在激光图像区(BL)的制造中,信用卡最好先用激光图像进行网状逐点冲击扫描从而相应地改变其吸收特性,也能使用已知的激光照射方法,使套层3表面由于激光束而改变其吸收特性。紧接着逐点精确地彩色像点进行分解,彩色图像区像点最好由三种颜色成份组成。已知形式的点状电极有控制地加热一切削刃状打印条,使置于热打印条和护层之间的着色片的着色层熔化或蒸发并沉积到护层(1)上。单个颜色按已知方式顺序设置、即通过使用各自具有不同着色片和着色打印条或者使用一个具有变换的着色部分的多色着色片,其中信用卡分段后退地在打印条下面导过。用已知方式通过卡运送中的自动同步机和颜料支承带中的光传感器对彩色图像区点精确的配置进行控制。
若通过激光在中间层(2)或套层3中染上了一种颜色,在彩色图像区中只须简单略去该种颜色即可。而且这种方法也很容易识别伪造的图像,因为它很清楚。这种彩色成分附加特性在于,它存在于一定深度之中,而伪造品只是将颜色置于表面上,这是因为,伪造者一般不能得到一个合适的激光装置。
也可以用其它的颜色设置方法来代替热转换法。例如可使用彩色复制技术中出现的计算机着色中转换到点生产的静电-光学方法和计算机印刷中使用的多色喷射法。
本方法和实施本方法装置进一步有益的设计在于:在设置彩色图像时使用了一个和生成激光成像区所用的相同的激光扫描装置。对此热转换着色片和卡表面紧密接触,在其上用由图像场颜色信息控制的激光束进行扫描。
在此方法中不同的颜色依次重复。可用一个透明材料例如玻璃制的支座来压紧着色片。其中卡从背面用一个弹性推板压紧,该压紧装置可为完全平面的板或直尺,如玻璃条。线性结构中在一个图像轴中着色片上产生一个运动(例如为滑动),激光束在杆条垂直方向偏斜并通过该作为透镜的杆条射到里面去。
用相同的激光进行彩色图像部分制造导致了装置及其控制的简化以及一个空间的图像、颜色相关的高精度,因为各自使用了相同的定位手段。也能相对于带电加热像点的颜色转换加速进行彩色图像的生产,因为前者在连续的行之间像点必须受到分别的冷却并且要将象点行机械传送到下一个行位,所以用激光方法可得到一个最短的成像时间。也可用对着色片的拉紧来代替使用支座的压紧,使弹性卡至少在图像区变形弯曲从而确保一个与着色片的完全平面的接触。这里所述的生产带激光加热像点的彩色转换图像的生产方法和结构是一个独立的发明,它与激光的产生无关,并有重要意义。

Claims (9)

1.一种证件卡,特别是信用卡,它具有一个含证明照片的图像区(B),其中具有不同的光吸收性的象点被激光逐点置于一个护层(1)中和/或透明护层(1)之下的中间层(2)中和/或套层(3)中,其特征在于:其证件卡中用激光技术置入一个图像部分(BL)的单色部分和/或灰色或黑色部分,并且在其上叠合该图像的补充的彩色图像部分(BF)。
2.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:激光技术成像部分(BL)包含有图像的灰色和黑色成分,而彩色图像部分(BF)基本上不含灰色和黑色成分。
3.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:激光技术成像部分(BL)含有图像的第一种彩色成分,而图像(B)的彩色图像部分(BF)含有该图像(B)的补充彩色成分,它为包括灰色和黑色在内的总体颜色成分的叠加。
4.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:激光技术成像部分(BL)按给定图案调节其强度,同样调节用以补充所述激光技术成像部分(BL)的彩色图像部分(BF)的强度,使得直视时能得到一个完整图像并且侧视时可看见所给定的图像。
5.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:中间层(2)中分布有可通过激光束改变其光学性质的颜料或材料成分。
6.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:上述证件卡设有一个白色套层(3),其表面的光吸收特性可通过激光束加以改变。
7.按权利要求1所述的证件卡,其特征在于:护层(1)由热塑性塑料组成,其上面在热作用下可积聚升华颜料和必要时的颜料粘合剂。
8.一种证件卡的制造方法,该证件卡具有一个带人像的图像区,所述方法的特征在于:
提供一个具有一个护层、一个设在护层之下的中间层和一个设在中间层之下的套层的图像区;
将要置入到上述图像区中的彩色图像上的各象素的色强度值分离成一个亮度值部分和一个色强度值部分;
根据上述的强度值部分利用一个激光扫描装置使上述证件卡对一个激光束曝光,在上述证件卡上形成彩色图像的激光部分;
利用按照颜色分开的色强度值部分,产生并且控制不同颜色的热转印彩色图像,从而使不同的热转换颜料一种接一种地施加上证件卡上的激光部分上,形成图像。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于:在热转换-彩色图像生产中,对于不同的颜色依次将具有各自热转换颜料的热转换着色片压在卡表面上,并且根据颜色强度值用激光束控制加热相应的彩色图像点,使它能够传递到卡表面并扩散到其内部。
