具体实施方式
本发明总的来说涉及容纳诸如容器、瓶、罐等之类的物品的纸箱。这些物品可以例如用于包装食品和饮料产品。这些物品可由成分适合于包装特定食品或饮料物品的材料制造，该材料包括但不限于铝和/或其它金属、玻璃、诸如PET、LDPE、LLDPE、HDPE、PP、PS、PVC、EVOH和尼龙的塑料、等等或它们的任何组合。
根据本发明的纸箱可收容任何形状的物品。为了说明的目的而不是限制本发明范围的目的，以下详细描述描述了在纸箱实施例内设置的饮料容器(例如金属饮料罐或饮料瓶)。在该说明书中，术语“下”、“底”、“上”、和“顶”表示相对于完全构建好和直立的纸箱而确定的朝向。
图1是用于形成根据本发明一个示例性实施例的纸箱5(图2)的坯件的平面图，该坯件总体上由3表示。纸箱5可用于放置多个物品，例如饮料容器。在示出的实施例中，纸箱5的尺寸被设计成以单层3×4的布置放置十二个容器，但是应当理解，纸箱5的尺寸和形状可以被设计成以多于一层和/或以不同的排/列的布置(例如3×8、4×6、3×6、1×6、2×6×2、3×4×2、2×9、2×6等)保持不同或相同数量的容器。如图3的局部剖面图中示出的，坯件包括材料6(例如，复合材料)，该材料包括第一(外)层7、第二(中间)层9和第三(内)层11。如将以下面更详细描述的，第一层7可包括诸如纸板的大致刚性材料层(例如基底材料或支撑材料)，其为纸箱5提供刚性和光滑外打印表面。在一个实施例中，第一层7是材料6的基底。第二层9可包括保持容器的温度且也隔离(保护)容器以免破碎的隔离和/或保护材料(例如隔离体)，例如泡沫。第三层11可包括诸如纸或薄纸板的材料，其为容器提供光滑内表面以在纸箱5的装填期间滑动抵靠。层7、9、11可包括其它适当材料，而不脱离本发明。
在一个实施例中，坯件3具有纵向轴线L1和横向轴线L2。在所示的实施例中，坯件3包括在第一横向折线21处可折叠地连接到第一侧板20的底板10、在第二横向折线31处可折叠地连接到第一侧板20的第一顶板30、在第三横向折线41处可折叠地连接到底板10的第二侧板40和在第四横向折线51处可折叠地连接到第二侧板40的第二顶板50。在所示的实施例中，第一和第二顶板30、50至少部分地重叠且粘接以形成纸箱5的具有形成于其中的把手21的顶壁。可替代地，单个顶板可形成纸箱5的顶壁，而不脱离本发明的范围。
底板10可折叠地连接到第一底端折片12和第二底端折片14。第一侧板20可折叠地连接到第一侧端折片22和第二侧端折片24。第一顶板30可折叠地连接到第一顶端折片32和第二顶端折片34。第二侧板40可折叠地连接到第一侧端折片42和第二侧端折片44。第二顶板50可折叠地连接到第一顶端折片46和第二顶端折片48。
当纸箱5构建好时，端折片12、22、32、42、46封闭纸箱的第一端51，端折片14、24、34、44、48封闭纸箱的第二端53。根据本发明的替代性实施例，可以使用不同的折片布置来封闭纸箱5的端部51、53。
端折片12、22、32、42和46沿坯件3的第一边缘区域延伸，且在沿坯件的长度延伸的第一纵向折叠线62处可折叠地连接。端折片14、24、34、44和48沿坯件3的第二边缘区域延伸，且在同样沿坯件的长度延伸的第二纵向折叠线64处可折叠地连接。纵向折叠线62、64可以是例如大致直的，或在一个或多个位置偏移以补偿坯件厚度或其它因素。
如图1所示，纸箱5的把手21由第一顶板30和第二顶板50中的特征部形成。把手21的特征部包括第一顶板30中的细长把手开口67和第二顶板50中的细长把手开口69。把手21可由除了把手开口67、69之外的特征部形成，把手开口可以是其它形状、布置和/或构造，或把手可被省略，而不脱离本发明。
在图示的实施例中，坯件3包括显示特征部，该显示特征部包括在端折片24中的开口71。坯件3包括分配器特征部，该分配器特征部包括在端折片22和第一侧板20中的分配器板73和在端折片42和第二侧板40中的分配器板75。坯件3和/或纸箱5可具有其它显示特征部、分配器特征部或其它特征部，而不脱离本发明。
示例1-3(E槽(E-flute)第一层)
本发明的各种实施例中(示例1-3)中，坯件3和纸箱5包括材料6，该材料6包括第一(外)层7，该第一层7是从本领域公知的任何适当供应商可商业获得的E槽瓦楞纤维板材料。在示例1-3中，第二(中间)层9是在下表中详细列出的喷雾粘合剂，第三(内)层11是从本领域公知的任何适当供应商可商业获得的40#(18kg)牛皮纸。这三个层7、9、11被层压到一起以形成本发明各实施例的材料。术语外和内相对于形成的纸箱5使用，其中内层11将邻近纸箱的内部，外层7将包括纸箱的将适于打印产品信息的外表面。
示例4-6(纸板第一层)
在本发明的各实施例中(示例4-6)，坯件3和纸箱5包括材料6，该材料6包括从Graphic Packaging International可商业获得的22点(559μm)纸板的第一(外)层7。在示例4-6中，第二(中间)层9是在下表中详细描述的喷雾粘合剂，第三(内)层11是从本领域公知的任何适当供应商可商业获得的40#(18kg)牛皮纸。这三个层7、9、11层压在一起以形成本发明各实施例的材料。
示例7-8(可膨胀第二层)
在本发明的各实施例中(示例7-8)，坯件3和纸箱5包括材料6，该材料6包括从AkzoNobel可商业获得的例如461DU20干燥未膨胀微球的可膨胀涂覆材料。在示例7-8中，第一(外)层7是如示例编号4-6中的22点(559μm)纸板或示例No.1-3中的E槽瓦楞纤维板。在示例7-8中，第三(内)层11是从本领域公知的任何适当供应商可商业获得的40#(18kg)牛皮纸。第三层11可以通过可选而非必要的、包括11密耳(279μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂的第四层12附接到第二层。这四个层7、9、11、12层压在一起以形成本发明各实施例的材料。
在一个实施例中，示例编号1和4的泡沫衬垫喷雾粘合剂包括从ULine shipping Supply Specialists of Pleasant Prairie,Wisconsin可商业获得的1/32”(0.017mm)的多孔泡沫卷,产品编号为S-12575P，或可从任何适当制造商或供应商获得的任何其它适当泡沫粘合剂。在一个实施例中，示例编号2、3、5、6、7和8的聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂包括可从Fairport,NY的Web Resources International,Inc.获得的8密耳(203μm)或11密耳(279μm)厚的聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂或可从任何其它适当制造商或供应商获得的任何其它适当材料。
图4示出本发明的替代实施例，坯件3和纸箱5包括材料6，该材料6包括5个层，第一(外)层7、第二(中间)层9、第三(内)层11与上面对于示例1-8描述的各层相同或类似。第四层12可包括上面关于示例7和8提到的粘合剂。在图4的实施例中，第五、粘合剂层14处于第一层7和第二层9之间。在一个实施例中，第五层14可以是与示例编号2、3、5、6、7中使用的材料相同的聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂，或第五层可包括其它材料，而不脱离本发明的范围。在以上关于第一层7、第二层9和第三层11提到的材料的任何组合中，第四层12和第五层14中的一个或两者可被用于材料6中。第四层12和第五层14可以是相同的或不同的材料，而不脱离本发明的范围。
在一个实施例中，层7、9、11可通过任何适当工艺(例如层压、挤出成型等)被形成为材料6。层7、9、11中的一个或多个可通过任何适当的粘合剂(例如粘合剂层12、14)或任何适当附接机构而附接到相邻层。材料6可由任何其它适当工艺形成且可具有任何适当材料，而不脱离本发明。
本发明的材料6可被用于放置多个饮料容器的坯件3或纸箱5。可替代地，材料6可被用于形成不同基材、坯件、纸箱、其它适当容器和/或任何适当构造。材料6可以是具有隔离材料、例如泡沫或其它材料的内层9的多层层压体。本发明的材料6为纸箱5或坯件3提供隔离特性，使得纸箱中的容器的温度被保持在一定温度，例如当饮料容器被在消耗之前被保持在冷温度。而且，材料6可具有保护容器且防止包装在纸箱5中的容器破碎或损坏的保护特性。材料可通过层压一个或多个材料层7、9、11、12、14通过传统层压工艺层压在一起形成，或材料层可通过其它工艺形成或附接，而不脱离本发明。

Claims (40)

1.一种用于形成用于容纳多个物品的纸箱的材料，所述材料包括：
多个层，所述多个层包括具有基底的第一层和具有隔离体的第二层，所述第一层是外层，所述第二层是内层；
所述多个层中的这些层分别彼此重叠且附接。
2.如权利要求1所述的材料，其中，所述隔离体是用于阻止热穿过材料的第二层传递的温度隔离材料。
3.如权利要求1所述的材料，其中，所述第二层的隔离体包括用于保护所述多个物品中的至少一个物品的缓冲特性。
4.如权利要求1所述的材料，其中，所述基底是大致刚性的，用于至少部分地支撑所述材料。
5.如权利要求1所述的材料，其中，所述基底是纸板或纤维板。
6.如权利要求5所述的材料，其中，所述基底是E槽纤维板或22点(559μm)纸板。
7.如权利要求1所述的材料，其中，所述绝缘体是31密耳(787μm)泡沫衬垫喷雾粘合剂、8密耳(203μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、11密耳(279μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、或461DU20可膨胀涂料的1密耳(25μm)迈尔棒涂布物。
8.如权利要求7所述的材料,其中,所述基底是纸板或纤维板。
9.如权利要求1所述的材料,其中,所述多个层还包括第三层，所述第二层被设置在所述第一层和所述第三层之间。
10.如权利要求9所述的材料,其中,所述第三层包括纸质材料。
11.如权利要求10所述的材料,其中,所述纸质材料是牛皮纸或纸板。
12.如权利要求9所述的材料,其中,所述多个层还包括将所述第一层和所述第三层中的至少一个附接到所述第二层的至少一个粘合剂层。
13.如权利要求9所述的材料,其中,所述第三层被定位成与所述多个物品中的至少一个物品接触。
14.一种用于保持多个物品的纸箱，所述纸箱包括至少部分地绕所述纸箱的内部延伸的至少一个板，所述至少一个板的至少一部分包括如权利要求1所述的材料。
15.如权利要求14所述的纸箱，其中，所述基底是纸板或纤维板。
16.如权利要求15所述的纸箱，其中，所述基底是E槽纤维板或22点(559μm)纸板。
17.如权利要求14所述的纸箱，其中，所述隔离体是31密耳(787μm)泡沫衬垫喷雾粘合剂、8密耳(203μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、11密耳(279μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、或461DU 20可膨胀涂料的1密耳(25μm)迈尔棒涂布物。
18.如权利要求14所述的纸箱，其中，所述多个层还包括第三层，所述第二层被设置在所述第一层和所述第三层之间。

20.如权利要求18所述的纸箱，其中，所述第三层用于被定位成与所述多个物品中的至少一个物品接触。
21.一种用于形成用于保持多个物品的纸箱的坯件，所述坯件包括至少一个板，所述至少一个板的至少一部分包括如权利要求1所述的材料。
22.如权利要求21所述的纸箱，其中，所述基底是纸板或纤维板。
23.如权利要求22所述的纸箱，其中，所述基底是E槽纤维板或22点(559μm)纸板。
24.如权利要求21所述的坯件，其中，所述隔离体是31密耳(787μm)泡沫衬垫喷雾粘合剂、8密耳(203μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、11密耳(279μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、或461DU 20可膨胀涂料的1密耳(25μm)迈尔棒涂布物。

形成至少部分地由所述至少一个板限定的纸箱的内部。
29.如权利要求28所述的方法，其中，所述基底是纸板或纤维板。
30.如权利要求28所述的方法，其中所述隔离体是31密耳(787μm)泡沫衬垫喷雾粘合剂、8密耳(203μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、11密耳(279μm)聚苯乙烯标签纸喷雾粘合剂、或461DU 20可膨胀涂料的1密耳(25μm)迈尔棒涂布物。
31.如权利要求28所述的方法，其中，所述多个层还包括第三层，所述第二层被设置在所述第一层和所述第三层之间。
