本发明公开了一种中学数学切割线定理演示教具,其特征是:在圆形滑槽中心线切线方向安装带刻度的直线滑槽,圆形滑槽内相向安装下弧形滑块和上弧形滑块,带刻度的直线滑槽内安装长方形滑块,长方形滑块、下弧形滑块和上弧形滑块均与带刻度的直杆单独实现转动连接。本发明能够清楚地反映出过圆外一点作圆的切线和割线时,切线长与这点到割线与圆交点的两条线段长之间的数量关系,因而直观地验证切割线定理,从而激发学生的学习兴趣,对教师的教学起到良好的辅助作用。

技术领域:本发明涉及中学数学教学用具。
背景技术:在中学数学教学过程中,切割线定理是一个重要的知识点。教师授课导入知识时往往要借助教学用具来激发学生的学习兴趣。然而当前缺少一种针对该定理的演示教具,不利于学生直观地了解学习该定理,也不利于课题的导入和激发学生的学习兴趣。
发明内容:本发明的目的就是提供一种新的数学教学用具,它能有效地解决现有中学数学教学中因缺少针对切割线定理的演示教具而不利于学生直观地学习该定理的问题。
本发明的目的是这样实现的:中学数学切割线定理演示教具,其特征是:在圆形滑槽中心线切线方向安装带刻度的直线滑槽,圆形滑槽内相向安装下弧形滑块和上弧形滑块,带刻度的直线滑槽内安装长方形滑块,长方形滑块、下弧形滑块和上弧形滑块均与带刻度的直杆单独实现转动连接。
本发明的有益效果是:能够清楚地反映出过圆外一点作圆的切线和割线时,切线长与这点到割线与圆交点的两条线段长之间的数量关系,因而直观地验证切割线定理,从而激发学生的学习兴趣,对教师的教学起到良好的辅助作用。

具体实施方式:图1示出了本发明的中学数学切割线定理演示教具,在圆形滑槽1的中心线切线方向安装带刻度的直线滑槽2,圆形滑槽1内相向安装下弧形滑块5和上弧形滑块6,带刻度的直线滑槽2内安装长方形滑块4,长方形滑块4、下弧形滑块5和上弧形滑块6均与带刻度的直杆3单独实现转动连接。滑动长方形滑块4、下弧形滑块5和上弧形滑块6之任一滑块,其余滑块随之运动。借助带刻度的直杆3的刻度线读出长方形滑块4到切点间线段的长度、长方形滑块4分别到下弧形滑块5和上弧形滑块6之间线段的长度,分析三个数据的数量关系,从而直观地验证了切割线定理。通常在滑槽宽度和滑块长度不能忽略的情况下,应以滑块中心作为线段的端点读数,防止出现较大误差。
图2中,B、C、D点分别是三滑块的中心,O点是组成圆形滑槽的两同心圆的圆心。虚线线段AB是O的切线,直线BD交O于点C、D。根据切割线定理,有AB2=BC·BD,即是本发明的数学原理。
