Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜(plating film)的黑化处理溶液(blackening treatment solution),以及黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法。
背景技术
呈黑色的薄膜由于其极好的外观而被用于多种领域,如装饰件。通过利用其低的反射率,它们也被用于多种光学仪器部件、测量仪器部件等。多种薄膜,包括铬系薄膜、镍系薄膜、锌系薄膜、铝系薄膜和铁系薄膜,被称为呈黑色的薄膜。已知包括化学处理和阳极氧化在内的多种方法作为用于制备这样的薄膜的方法。
特别地,镀黑铬被广泛地用作用于形成黑色薄膜的方法(参见以下列出的PTL 1、PTL 2和PTL 3)。在这些镀黑铬方法中使用的镀浴(plating bath)含有六价铬离子;然而,六价铬的毒性近来已成为问题。在工作环境和废水处理方面,强烈需要开发具有低毒性的电镀液。因此,来自具有低毒性的三价铬浴的黑色电镀已经扩展为备选的技术(参见以下列出的PTL 4和PTL 5)。
然而,与获自六价铬浴的黑色镀膜相比,获自三价铬镀浴的薄膜的颜色是较浅带黑色(less blackish),并且是接近黑色的深褐色。在装饰性方面需要更深带黑色的薄膜。

发明内容
技术问题
鉴于以上现有技术的当前状态而形成本发明。本发明的主要目的是提供这样的方法,所述方法可以向形成自含有三价铬的镀浴的较浅带黑色的镀膜赋予更黑的颜色,由此进一步改善所述膜的装饰性。
解决问题的方案
本发明的发明人进行了大量研究从而实现了以上目的。作为结果,本发明的发明人发现在形成自含有三价铬的镀浴的黑色镀膜之中,当含有特定量的Cr的Cr-Co合金镀膜用pH值为在-1至5范围内的酸性水溶液处理时,薄膜的黑色可以被显著增强,由此形成具有极好外观的黑色镀膜。本发明的发明人进一步发现当通过该方法增强了黑色的黑色镀膜随后经过电解铬酸盐处理时,该膜的耐(腐)蚀性可以被显著提高,同时保持极好的外观,由此形成具有极好外观和极好耐蚀性的黑色薄膜。从而完成了本发明。
即,本发明提供以下黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法,和用于Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理溶液。
第1项.一种用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法,所述方法包括使Cr含量为1至15重量%的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液接触。
第2项.根据第1项所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜是通过从含有重量比Cr/Co为2至60的钴化合物和含三价铬的化合物的Cr-Co合金镀浴进行电镀形成的薄膜。
第3项.根据第1项或第2项所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液含有盐酸和/或硫酸作为酸组分。

以下详细描述本发明。
要处理的对象
要用本发明的黑化处理溶液处理的黑色镀膜是形成自含有三价铬的镀浴的、Cr含量为在1至15重量%范围内的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜。
当具有这样的特定Cr含量的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜经过通过后面所述方法的黑化处理时,该膜的微黑色可以被增强,同时不损害外观的均匀性,由此形成具有极好外观的黑色镀膜。
用于形成Cr含量为在1至15重量%范围内的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的方法不受特别限制;然而,特别地,当处理目标是形成自满足以下条件的Cr-Co合金镀浴的Cr-Co合金镀膜时,该镀膜的微黑色通过进行后面所述的黑化处理可以显著增强。
具体地,特别是当处理目标是形成自含有重量比(Cr/Co)为2至60、优选地3至50并且更优选地5至20的钴化合物和含三价铬的化合物的Cr-Co合金镀浴的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜时,该膜的较浅黑色可以被显著增强,由此形成具有极好外观的高度装饰性的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜。
这样的Cr-Co合金镀浴的具体实例包括包含水溶液的镀浴,除了钴化合物和含三价铬的化合物以外,所述水溶液还含有络合剂、还原剂、导电盐、pH缓冲剂等。在这些组分中,钴化合物的实例包括硫酸钴,氯化钴,硝酸钴,乙酸钴等。三价铬化合物的实例包括硫酸铬,氯化铬,硝酸铬,乙酸铬等。络合剂的实例包括有机酸,如一元羧酸(例如,甲酸和乙酸)及其盐,二元羧酸(例如,草酸,丙二酸,和马来酸)及其盐,以及羟基羧酸(例如,柠檬酸,苹果酸,和羟基乙酸)及其盐;无机化合物,如尿素,硫化氰,和氰酸;等等。还原剂的实例包括次磷酸,抗坏血酸,及其水溶性盐(钠盐,钾盐,铵盐等),二甲胺硼烷(DMAB)等。导电盐的实例包括硫酸钠,硫酸钾,硫酸铵,氯化钠,氯化钾,氯化铵等。pH缓冲剂的实例包括硼酸,硼酸钠,硫酸铝等。
这些组分在镀浴中的浓度不受特别限制。在其中在镀浴中的钴化合物和含三价铬的化合物的重量比(Cr/Co)为2至60的范围内,例如,钴化合物的浓度为约1至50g/L,而三价铬化合物的浓度为约5至500g/L。此外,络合剂的浓度为例如约5至200g/L,还原剂的浓度为约2至100g/L,导电盐的浓度为约30至300g/L,并且pH缓冲剂的浓度为约10至100g/L。
当使用以上Cr-Co合金镀浴时的电镀条件也不受特别限制。可以使用允许形成Cr含量为在1至15重量%范围内的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的任何条件。例如,电镀可以在约2至5、优选地约2.5至4的pH,在约25至60℃、优选地约30至55℃的浴温度,并且在约1至20A/dm2、优选地约5至15A/dm2的阴极电流密度下进行。
当将含磷(如次磷酸或其盐)的化合物用作还原剂时,形成的Cr-Co合金镀膜含有多至约15重量%的磷。在本发明中,特别是当含有约5至15重量%的磷的Cr-Co合金镀膜经过后面所述的黑化处理时,极好的黑色外观可以在宽范围的电流密度内获得。
黑化处理方法
在本发明中,当使上述Cr含量为约1至15重量%的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与包含pH值为约-1至5、优选地约-1至2并且更优选地约-0.5至1的水溶液的黑化处理溶液接触时,极好的黑色外观可以赋予所述黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜,同时无损薄膜的外观。当黑化处理溶液的pH过高时,即使通过在下述条件下进行所述处理也不能充分地增强该黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑色。对比地,低于以上范围的黑化处理溶液的pH值不是优选的,不仅因为不能充分增强黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑色,而且还因为该薄膜具有不均匀的薄膜外观,即,不均匀性。以上pH值使用市售pH计在25℃的溶液温度测量。
包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液可以是具有在预定范围内的pH的任何水溶液。例如,可以使用无机酸和/或有机酸将pH调节至预定范围。无机酸的具体实例包括盐酸,硫酸,硝酸,磷酸,氢氟酸,硼酸等。有机酸的具体实例包括脂族一元羧酸,如甲酸和乙酸;脂族二元羧酸,如草酸,丙二酸,和琥珀酸;脂族羟基一元羧酸,如葡糖酸;脂族羟基二元羧酸,如苹果酸;脂族羟基三元羧酸,如柠檬酸;以及其他羧酸。这些无机酸和有机酸可以单独使用或以两种以上的混合物使用。
添加的无机酸和/或有机酸的量不受特别限制,并且其可以被合适地添加以便满足以上pH范围。通常,其量为约1至100g/L,并且优选为约5至50g/L。
在本发明中,具有极好外观的黑化薄膜可以特别地通过使用硫酸和/或盐酸以将黑化处理溶液的pH值调节到以上范围内来形成。此外,通过进行后面描述的电解铬酸盐处理,薄膜的耐蚀性显著提高。当使用硫酸和/或盐酸时,可以控制其添加量以便通过使用它们来实现以上pH值。例如,当使用硫酸时,添加的98%硫酸的量为约5至300mL/L,并且优选地为约20至100mL/L。
作为使用以上黑化处理溶液的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法,仅需要使作为处理目标的Cr含量为1至15重量%的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液接触。由此,可以增强黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的微黑色,同时无损薄膜的外观,并且可以被赋予极好的黑色外观。
用于使黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与黑化处理溶液接触的方法不受特别限制。例如,所述处理可以通过将具有黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的制品浸渍在黑化处理溶液中有效地进行。虽然处理溶液的溶液温度不受特别限制,溶液温度为例如约10至80℃,并且优选地为约30至60℃。当浴温度在该范围内时,通过在下述条件下进行浸渍处理可以赋予极好的黑色外观,同时无损镀膜的外观,等等。对比地,过低的浴温度不是优选的,因为没有获得足够黑色的外观。另一方面,过高的浴温度也不是优选的,因为可能发生色调的不均匀性。
关于浸渍处理时间,当处理时间极短时,观察不到充分的黑化。对比地,比所需更长的处理时间不是优选的,因为可能有损薄膜外观。因此,浸渍时间通常为约30秒至20分钟,并且优选地为约1分钟至10分钟。
电解铬酸盐处理
在本发明中,已经以上述方式经过了黑化处理的Cr-Co合金镀膜的耐蚀性可以通过在黑化处理后在Cr-Co合金镀膜上进行电解铬酸盐处理被显著提高,同时无损极好的黑色外观。特别地,当使用pH为约-0.5至1的黑化处理溶液进行黑化处理时,通过进行电解铬酸盐处理可以获得具有高耐蚀性的黑化薄膜。
电解铬酸盐处理的具体条件不受特别限制。电解处理可以使用已知的电解铬酸盐溶液在不会损害极好的黑色外观的范围内进行。
用于电解铬酸盐处理的处理溶液的一个实例是含有铬化合物(如铬酸,铬酸酐,重铬酸钠,或重铬酸钾)并且任选地含有硫酸等的水溶液。处理溶液中的铬浓度为例如约2.5至50g/L。电解处理可以在约1.0至5.5的pH值,在约20至70℃的处理温度,在约0.1至2A/dm2的阴极电流密度下进行约10秒至5分钟。虽然阳极不受特别限制,但是例如可以使用Pb,Pb-Sn合金等。
发明的有益效果
用于本发明的黑化处理方法的黑化处理溶液不含有六价铬化合物。此外,作为处理目标的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜形成自不含有六价铬化合物的电镀液。
因此,根据本发明的黑化处理方法,可以在不使用对环境有害的物质(如六价铬)的情况下形成具有极好的黑色外观的镀膜。
因为形成的黑色镀膜是具有极好黑色外观和低反射率的高度装饰性的镀膜,所以其可以被有效地用于多种应用。
此外,通过在黑化处理后进行电解铬酸盐处理,薄膜的耐蚀性可以被显著提高,同时无损其极好的黑色外观。作为结果,所述薄膜可以作为具有极好外观和极好耐蚀性的黑色薄膜而被有效地用于多种应用。
实施方案描述
以下参考实施例更详细地描述本发明。
实施例1
将其上形成有膜厚度为5μm的亮镍镀膜的黄铜板用作测试样品,并且使用具有以下表1中所示组成的Cr-Co合金电镀液来形成黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜。
通过比色计测量所形成的Cr-Co合金镀膜的反射率。在400至700nm的波长范围内测量反射率。反射率测量结果显示为在400至700nm的波长范围内的从最小反射率到最大反射率的范围。
之后,将测试样品浸渍在具有表1中所示组成的黑化处理溶液中以进行黑化处理。处理条件显示在以下表1中。当黑化处理溶液的pH提高时,使用NaOH。
随后,通过比色计以与以上方法中相同的方式测量黑化处理后的各个测试样品的反射率。要指出的是,反射率值越低,镀膜就越黑。
此外,通过视觉观察评价黑化处理后的钴镀膜的外观。具有均匀黑色外观的薄膜表示为“A”,而在黑化处理后具有轻微不均匀性的薄膜表示为“B”。
以下表1显示结果。

如从以上结果清楚的是,当样品1至4在其上形成Cr-Co合金镀膜后经过黑化处理时,镀膜的反射率减小,同时无损薄膜的外观,并且形成具有均匀外观的黑色镀膜。
实施例2
将其上形成有膜厚度为5μm的亮镍镀膜的黄铜板用作测试样品,并且使用包含pH为3.5的水溶液(含有184ml/L的40%硫酸铬,140g/L的硫酸钾,14.3g/L的硫酸钴,40g/L的硼酸和10g/L的次磷酸钠)的Cr-Co合金镀浴,在50℃的浴温度,在10A/dm2的阴极电流密度下,进行电镀处理达10分钟,由此形成膜厚度为约1.0μm的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜。获得的Cr-Co合金镀膜含有Co:约80重量%,Cr:约2重量%,P:约7重量%,O:约7重量%,和C:约4重量%。
随后,将含有10g/L的苹果酸并且具有用硫酸调节的pH值的水溶液用作黑化处理溶液。将其上形成有Cr-Co合金镀膜的样品浸渍在溶液温度为50℃的处理溶液中达10分钟以进行黑化处理。
使用市售的电解铬酸盐处理溶液(商品名:ECB-Y,由Okuno ChemicalIndustriesCo.,Ltd.生产)使黑化处理后的每个样品经过电解铬酸盐处理。电解铬酸盐处理溶液的主要成分是重铬酸钠。处理条件如下:ECB-Y 100ml/L溶液(铬浓度:0.7g/L),处理溶液的pH:3.5,浴温度:25℃(RT),阴极电流密度:0.5A/dm2,以及处理时间:1分钟。
通过视觉观察评价每个样品在电解铬酸盐处理后的外观。具有均匀黑色外观的样品表示为“A”,具有变黄的样品表示为“B”,而具有严重变色和不均匀性的样品表示为“C”。
此外,根据JIS H8502,使用CASS测试仪,使每个样品经过耐蚀性测试(CASS测试)达24小时,并且通过基于全面腐蚀面积百分比的评级(RN)评价测试后各个样品的耐蚀性。在整个表面上没有锈的样品被评分为评级(RN)10。要指出的是,评级(RN)越低,腐蚀面积百分比越高。以下表2显示结果。

如从以上结果清楚的是,确认了耐蚀性在电解铬酸盐处理后被显著提高,尤其是当使用pH值为1以下的黑化处理溶液进行黑化处理时。
实施例3
使用含有200mL/L的35%盐酸的pH值为-0.1的水溶液作为黑化处理溶液,在溶液温度为40℃下,同时将处理时间从2分钟变至10分钟,以与实施例2中相同的方式使其上形成有Cr-Co合金镀膜的样品经过黑化处理。
随后,在与实施例2相同的条件下进行电解铬酸盐处理后,以与实施例2中相同的方式评价薄膜外观和耐蚀性。以下表3显示结果。

如从以上结果清楚的是,当黑化处理时间在4分钟至6分钟的范围内时,在电解铬酸盐处理后薄膜的耐蚀性尤其优异。
实施例4
使用pH值用98%硫酸调节至-0.32至0.45范围内的黑化处理溶液,在溶液温度为40℃下,同时将处理时间从3.5分钟变至8分钟,以与实施例2中相同的方式使其上形成有Cr-Co合金镀膜的样品经过黑化处理。
随后,在与实施例2相同的条件下进行电解铬酸盐处理后,以与实施例2中相同的方式评价薄膜外观和耐蚀性。以下表4显示结果。

如从以上结果清楚的是,当使用具有用硫酸调节的pH值的黑化处理溶液时,所述膜的外观和耐蚀性在电解铬酸盐处理后都是极好的。
实施例5
以与实施例2中相同的方式将其上形成有Cr-Co合金镀膜的样品浸渍在包含pH值为0的水溶液(含有50mL/L的98%硫酸)的黑化处理溶液(溶液温度为40℃)中达5分钟以进行黑化处理。
随后,在使用与实施例2相同的电解铬酸盐处理溶液、在0.5A/dm2的阴极电流密度、在25℃的溶液温度下进行电解铬酸盐处理达10秒至3分钟的电解铬酸盐处理时间后,以与实施例2中相同的方式评价薄膜外观和耐蚀性。以下表5显示结果。

如从以上结果清楚的是,在实施例5的处理条件下,极好的耐蚀性被赋予,特别是当电解铬酸盐的处理时间在1至2分钟的范围内时。
Claims (15)
1.一种用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法,所述方法包括使通过电镀形成的Cr含量为1至15重量%、磷含量为5至15重量%的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液接触,所述黑化处理溶液含有有机酸和/或无机酸作为酸组分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜是通过从Cr-Co合金镀浴进行电镀形成的膜,所述Cr-Co合金浴含有重量比Cr/Co为2至60的钴化合物和含三价铬的化合物。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液含有无机酸作为酸组分,所述无机酸为选自盐酸、硫酸、硝酸、磷酸、氢氟酸、硼酸中的至少一种。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液的黑化处理溶液含有有机酸作为酸组分,所述有机酸为选自脂族一元羧酸、脂族二元羧酸、脂族羟基一元羧酸、脂族羟基二元羧酸、脂族羟基三元羧酸中的至少一种。
5.根据权利要求1所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述黑化处理液中有机酸和/或无机酸的含量为1至100g/L。
6.根据权利要求3所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述黑化处理液中无机酸的含量为1至100g/L。
7.根据权利要求4所述的黑化处理方法,其中所述黑化处理液中有机酸的含量为1至100g/L。
8.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中所述使黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜与黑化处理溶液接触的步骤是将具有所述黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的制品浸渍在所述黑化处理溶液中的步骤:。
9.根据权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中通过比色计在400~700nm的波长范围内测量的黑化处理后的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的反射率为20%以下。
10.一种用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理方法,所述方法包括在通过根据权利要求1或2所述的方法进行黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理之后进行电解铬酸盐处理。
11.一种用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理溶液,所述溶液包含pH值为-1至5的水溶液,所述黑化处理溶液含有有机酸和/或无机酸作为酸组分。
12.根据权利要求11所述的用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理溶液,其中所述溶液含有无机酸作为酸组分,所述无机酸为选自盐酸、硫酸、硝酸、磷酸、氢氟酸、硼酸中的至少一种。
13.根据权利要求11所述的用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理溶液,其中所述溶液含有有机酸作为酸组分,所述有机酸为选自脂族一元羧酸、脂族二元羧酸、脂族羟基一元羧酸、脂族羟基二元羧酸、脂族羟基三元羧酸中的至少一种。
14.根据权利要求11至13中任一项所述的用于黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜的黑化处理溶液,其中所述有机酸和/或无机酸的含量为1至100g/L。
15.一种制品,所述制品具有经过了通过根据权利要求1或2所述的方法的黑化处理的黑色Cr-Co合金镀膜。
