Abstract

Description
技术背景
本发明涉及薄板和制作薄板的方法以及所述薄板的使用,特别针对冲压用于包装的盖子,诸如包装或者聚酯(PET)容器,所述薄板包括透明聚酯基底薄板(PET)。
WO98/25760A1公开薄板层叠,其中薄板通过将包括几个隔离层的两个薄板层叠到一起制成。薄板层叠可以用做在容器上的盖子,所述薄板焊接到容器的边缘。
由于材料和在层叠中的两个薄板内有许多层的层状结构的选择,已知的薄板类型不会拥有在它们施加于容器前适合用于冲压盖子的足够的硬度,因为这种类型的盖子在冲压之后典型地将弯曲。
多种材料的薄板也是已知的并且被使用作为在诸如杯子和瓶子的包装之上的盖子,尤其用于奶制品、果汁、饮用水、色拉、馅饼等等的包装。盖子可以由铝板制成,为了使盖子能够粘附到包装,已经将焊接漆层施加到所述铝板。
然而,这种类型的盖子是不透明的,透明是存在于消费者中的普遍愿望。
当使用透明的PET薄板时,不得不施加焊接漆层,因为所述焊接漆层是乳白色的,为了不破坏透明,所述焊接漆层仅被施加到边缘,在所述边缘处产生到盖子的焊接。
焊接漆的这种施加的缺点是,考虑到包装的实际关闭,其不得不被精确地施加到或者冲压盖子或者以组装的形式到薄板的腹板。
这增加成本,并且,在任何情况下,焊接漆沿着盖子边缘留下可见的凸缘,这有审美缺陷。
发明目的
本发明的目的是补救这些缺点和使用PET基底薄板连接PET容器或者包装的不足,诸如非晶态聚酯(APET)或者水晶聚酯(CPET)容器,并且这根据本发明通过一种方法实现,其中通过在透明的PET 基底薄板之上混合挤压聚烯烃层和非晶态聚酯的聚酯(PET)焊层,用附加层涂覆透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)以形成薄板。
由这种方法制成的薄板是透明的聚酯薄板(PET),一层聚烯烃层和PET焊层混合挤压在所述透明的聚酯薄板(PET)上以形成薄板,所述聚烯烃层设置在透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)和PET焊层中间。
首要地,这确保提供完全的透明度,甚至在焊接处之上。进一步,由于相对于可焊接的涂覆位置没有特别要求,这在薄板上到处存在,所以避免频繁地大量材料浪费。另外,在透明的PET基底薄板之上的混合挤压层确保冲压盖子拥有合适的硬度,这防止盖子弯曲,从而使得冲压盖子和将预先冲压的盖子施加到容器成为可能。
进一步,确保避免昂贵的印刷过程是非常有优势的,在所述昂贵的印刷过程中不得不施加焊接漆层。
所有的这些因素促使简化并且从而降低薄板成本,如所述,已经给予所述薄板完全的透明度。
另外,因为PET焊层不可能将任何味道转移到容器中的食物或者饮料,当作为盖子施加时暴露给容器内部的PET焊层在与聚丙烯或者聚本乙烯的焊接层比较时具有优良感官特性。因此,根据本发明的薄板适合例如作为用于食物或者饮料的容器上的盖子,否则所述食物或者饮料非常易受影响以适应来自包装材料的味道或者气味。这种食物或者饮料的例子是水、果汁、牛奶等等。另外,PET焊层显示强耐脂肪和油性,并且因此将适合用于连接包括脂肪的食物和/或者饮料,例如牛奶、酸奶、奶酪、色拉、馅饼等等。
最后,混合挤压附加层意味着所述盖子薄板比设置有焊接漆的对应的薄板更结实,从而允许PET基底薄板的厚度相应地减少,因此完成约15%的重量和材料节省。
这是优选的,即聚烯烃层是聚乙烯(PE)层,所述聚乙烯(PE)层优选地以PE均聚物或者共聚物的形式存在,诸如丙烯酸PE聚合物或者包括PE或者所述PE的混合物的乙烯基醋酸乙酯(EVA),在一个实施例中,这也是优选的,即出现聚烯烃层/PE层和在透明PET基底薄板的上方的PET焊层的混合挤压,如此以致诸如PE层的聚烯烃层配置在透明的聚酯薄板(PET)和PET焊层之间。
因为PETG不结晶,PET焊层选择性地由PETG制成。例如,当在低于230℃的温度下焊接时,相对于标准聚酯(PET)所述导致有改进的焊接性质的焊层,当所述焊层结晶时所述焊层失去所述焊层的焊接性质。
当在施加包括PE层和PET焊层的混合挤压层之前,底漆施加到透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)时,在PET基底薄板和PE层之间实现增强的粘附力。在PET层和PE层之间的增强粘附力允许分层可控,所述分层发生在聚烯烃层/PE层和PET焊层之间。
当PET焊层靠着PET的容器配置时,实现安全融合和从而盖子和容器的密封连接装配。
当使用最小厚度为23μm的PET基底薄板和施加总重量最小值为7g/m2的混合挤压层时,对应最小厚度7μm,实现相对便宜和节省材料的盖子薄板。
薄板可以冲压为盖子,并且将盖子薄板用于焊接到容器等等最后是合适的,因为在焊接到容器以前薄板冲压成盖子薄板的最后形状,所述薄板盖子焊接到有面对容器的PET焊层的容器,并且因为通过在薄板中的拉动从包装随后分离的盖子促使PE层保持在PET基底薄板(4)上并且PET焊层保持在焊接区域中的容器上,由于PE和PET 焊接层仅在焊接区域中会分层。这确保当盖子从容器拉掉时,将发生PE层和PET焊层的完全精确的分层,从而确保薄板拉掉而盖子没有撕碎。

具体实施方式
图1中的例子显示容器1,所述容器1由诸如非晶态聚酯(APET)或者水晶的聚酯(CPET)的聚酯(PET)制成。
容器可以是已知为用于水、果汁、色拉或者相似产品的包装的类型。但是所述容器还可以是用于色拉食物的盘子或者类似器皿或者用于牛奶或者软饮料的瓶子。
在所示的例子中,容器1设置有上凸缘3,上凸缘3的上侧面例如是平面,以能使盖子焊接在凸缘上。
当容器1已经被其容纳物填满时,所述容器1不得不用盖子2封闭。所述盖子2已经优选地预先冲压并且因此适合容器1的开口。
由薄板层叠组成的所述盖子2显示在图2中的截面图中。所述盖子2包括透明的PET基底薄板4,并且可以具有在23和50μm之间的厚度,例如30-40μm的厚度。厚度适合于强度、防护性能、尺寸等等的需要。
在这种基底薄板4上,通过直接混合挤压到之前的PET基底薄板4的表面上,提供标记5a的PE层和标记5b的PET焊层。意图将PET焊层5b与容器的凸缘3焊接到一起。
PE层5a可以是PE的均聚物或者共聚物-合适的PE共聚物是PE的丙烯酸的共聚物或者包括PE的乙烯基醋酸乙酯(EVA)-并且将正好称为PE层。已经发现这些共聚物对于薄板中的PET层展现足够的粘合,这对于PET基底薄板尤其有用。另外,使用任何这些共聚物确保在PET焊层和聚烯烃层(即PE层)之间的分层仅发生在焊接区域中。PET焊层5b也可以是均聚物或者PET的共聚物,并且将称为PET焊层。非常适合用于焊层的材料是PETG,不结晶的纯非晶态聚酯,即所述PETG保持非晶态。相比于标准聚酯,这导致具有改进的焊接性质的焊层,标准聚酯在其在完全处于220-230℃之下的温度处结晶时失去其焊接性质,由于基底PET薄膜的软化点,所述温度是用于密封的最高温度水平。
这两个层5a和5b优选地具有在7和25g/m2之间的总量,或者对应约7-22μm。PE层优选地具有5-15g/m2的厚度,对应约5.5-17μm,并且PET焊层优选地有2-10g/m2的厚度,或者对应约2.8-7.5μm。
在优选的实施例中,聚酯PET的基底薄板4已经涂有底漆6,底漆6确保在基底薄板4中的聚酯(PET)和混合挤压层5中的PE层5a之间的增强粘附力,所述混合挤压层5施加在基底薄板4之上。优选的底漆是丙烯酸基并且包括聚乙烯亚胺(PEI),其中尤其PEI是在PET4的基底层和PE层5a之间形成增强粘附力的原因。到现在为止,粘附力的极限值不是十分清楚,但是对于15μm宽的测试条板,所述极限值预计为5-20N之间。
制作这种薄板2的可选择实施例包括挤压基底薄板4并且,通过混合挤压,由第一层5a和附加PET焊层5b产生层5,将所述层4,5放到一起以形成盖子薄板2。
这是优选的,即在将混合挤压层施加到透明的PET基底薄板之后,立即压延盖子薄板。
这些方法提供优势,即薄板层叠2将是透明的并且在所述薄板层叠2的全部范围内将是可焊接的。从而,由于盖子可以适合包装的大小和形状,可以从一卷薄板冲压任何盖子形状和尺寸。盖子2可以从一卷薄板施加,或者优选地可以在施加到容器1以前冲压成所述盖子2的最后形状。
关于在填充机中填充诸如杯子的容器,优选地预冲压成其最后形状的盖子随后通过施加力被施加且焊接到凸缘3。
当容器已经因此被填充并且用盖子2封闭时,如图2中所示,用户将能够通过拉动盖子边翼以拉掉盖子。
因此,PE层5a和PET焊层5b将以拉掉、打开是受控的并且完全精确的方式分离、分层。因此,PET焊层将在焊接区域中保持在容器上,例如在所述容器的凸缘上,并且在非焊接区域中保持在盖子2上。
因为两层5a和5b相对坚硬,可以减少基底薄板4的尺寸,因此节省重量和材料消耗。而且,因为盖子薄板的增强的硬度,冲压的盖子在冲压之后不弯曲。
可选择地,有图案/颜色的附加层可以在盖子的冲压之前或者之后以一般地已知方式施加,正如额外的阻挡层可以可选择地施加到盖子薄板,例如在涂覆和/或者冲压以前。
Claims (23)
1.一种制作薄板(2)的方法,所述薄板用于容器的冲压薄板盖子,所述薄板包括透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4),其特征在于:薄板(2)通过用附加层(5)涂覆透明的聚酯基底薄板(4)而制作,所述附加层(5)通过混合挤压聚烯烃层(5a)和非晶态聚酯的PET焊层(5b)施加在透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)之上以形成薄板(2),其中进行聚烯烃层(5a)和PET焊层(5b)在透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)之上的混合挤压使得聚烯烃层(5a)设置在透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)和PET焊层(5b)之间。

11.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:就在即将使用利用聚烯烃层(5a)和PET焊层(5b)的附加层(5)涂覆之前挤压PET基底薄板(4)。
12.一种包括透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)的薄板,其特征在于:透明的聚酯基底薄板(4)在该透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)之上以聚烯烃层(5a)和非晶态聚酯的PET焊层(5b)的形式涂覆有附加层(5),所述聚烯烃层(5a)和PET焊层(5b)混合挤压到聚酯基底薄板(4)上以形成薄板(2),所述聚烯烃层(5a)设置在透明的聚酯基底薄板(PET)(4)和PET焊层(5b)之间。
13.根据权利要求12所述的一种薄板,其特征在于:聚烯烃层(5a)是聚乙烯(PE)层。
14.根据权利要求12所述的一种薄板,其特征在于:聚烯烃层(5a)是PE的均聚物或者共聚物的形式,其中共聚物是丙烯酸PE聚合物。
15.根据权利要求12所述的一种薄板,其特征在于:其中共聚物是包含PE的乙烯基醋酸乙酯(EVA)。
16.根据权利要求12所述的一种薄板,其特征在于:其中共聚物是丙烯酸PE聚合物和包含PE的乙烯基醋酸乙酯(EVA)的混合物。
17.根据权利要求12所述的薄板,其特征在于:底漆层(6)存在于PET基底薄板(4)和聚烯烃层(5a)之间。
18.根据权利要求12所述的薄板,其特征在于:PET焊层(5b)由PETG制成。
19.根据权利要求12所述的薄板,其特征在于:薄板(2)是透明的。
20.根据权利要求12所述的薄板,其特征在于:PET基底薄板(4)具有在23μm和50μm之间的厚度,并且附加层(5)具有在7g/m2和25g/m2之间的厚度,对应于7μm和22μm之间的厚度。
21.根据权利要求12所述的薄板,其特征在于:薄板(2)冲压成用于容器(1)的盖子。
22.一种根据权利要求12所述的薄板的使用,薄板作为盖子焊接到聚酯容器(1)或者聚酯层施加于其上的容器,其特征在于:薄板(2)在焊接到容器(1)之前被冲压成盖子的最后形状,所述薄板层在PET焊层(5b)朝向容器的情况下焊接到容器(1),并且由于PE层(5a)和PET焊层(5b)仅在焊接区域中分层,盖子随后通过在薄板(2)中的拉动从容器(1)分离,导致PE层(5a)保持在PET基底薄板(4)上并且PET焊层(5b)在焊接区域中保持在容器(1)上。
23.一种聚酯容器或者聚酯层被施加于其上的容器,根据权利要求11所述的薄板(2)在PET焊层(5b)朝向容器(1)的情况下焊接到容器(1),从而,由于PE层(5a)和PET焊层(5b)仅在焊接区域中分层,盖子随后通过在薄板(2)中的拉动从容器(1)的分离导致PE层(5a)保持在PET基底薄板(4)上并且PET焊层(5b)在焊接区域中保持在容器(1)上。
