Abstract

Description
本发明涉及热塑性材料螺旋盖,特别是在食品工业中用于封盖玻璃容器。这种螺旋盖包括一个水平顶面,一个具有用来把该螺旋盖拧在一个容器的外螺纹口上的内螺纹的圆筒形侧缘,和由该水平顶面的内表面所附带的密封装置,当盖子拧到这个容器上时,这个密封装置与容器口结合在容器内侧与盖子之间形成密封。这种螺旋盖的水平顶面的外表面具有一个复合层压材料的薄的覆盖层,用来形成一个阻挡层阻挡气体通过该顶面,该覆盖层是在这种盖子注模过程中由结合在盖子的水平顶面上的一层隔膜所构成的。
上述的这种螺旋盖可从EP-A-0239238中得知,该申请建议形成覆盖层的隔膜应当结实地覆盖盖子的水平顶面的整个外表面。盖子可以具有一个相当气密的密封衬垫来减少盖子的渗透性。
使用直径等于(或小于)盖子水平顶面的圆形外表面的直径的隔膜,不会获得从审美观点看满意的盖子,因为在批量生产中,隔膜与盖子圆形水平顶面之间存在轻微的偏心实际上是不可避免的。当隔膜带有印刷装璜或信息时,这种偏心特别容易被看出来。
此外,如果用一块透气性好的硬化塑料溶胶衬垫作为密封装置,靠近盖子水平顶面的圆筒形侧缘的上部就可能发生漏气。
为了避免上述的缺点,本发明的主题就是提供一种热塑性材料螺旋盖。它有一个水平顶面,一个具有用来把该盖子拧在一个容器的外螺纹口上的内螺纹的圆筒形侧缘,和由该水平顶面的内表面所附带的密封装置,当该盖子拧到该容器上时,该密封装置与该容器结合在该容器内侧与该盖子之间形成密封,该盖子在该水平顶面的外表面上有一个用来形成一阻挡层阻挡气体通过该顶面的复合层压材料构成的薄覆盖层,该薄覆盖层由在该盖子的注模过程中放入水平顶面的一个隔膜形成,其特征是:
该盖子的水平顶面有一个直径比该盖子的圆筒形侧缘的直径小的圆外形,而且位于圆筒形侧缘的顶部之上,
水平顶面的周边通过朝下弯曲的壁与在盖子圆筒形侧缘顶部的圆拱形肩相连接,
该盖子的圆筒形侧缘的外表面有彼此隔开的从该圆拱形肩伸至靠近该侧缘的底部的竖向凹槽,
用来形成薄覆盖层的隔膜的直径稍大于假设的与该凹槽的底部相切的圆筒体表面的直径,从而该覆盖层粘贴在该盖子的水平顶面和该向下弯曲的壁上。
把热塑性材料注入本说明书第一节所提到的那种螺旋盖的模腔内的制造方法,可从EP-A-0239238了解到。
根据该方法,在注入之前,把隔膜插入模腔内,并保持在其内的位置上,因此当注入热塑性材料时,隔膜被模压进并且永久地粘贴在盖子水平顶面的外表面上。
根据该文件的教导,隔膜被置于紧贴相应于盖子水平顶面的外表面的模腔面位置上,并在隔膜和模腔之间形成一层真空。这是通过在隔膜被保持在模腔区域内,设置一个或多个连接到真空泵上的真空孔而得以实现的。
如果把热塑性材料注入模腔时,模腔内未放入隔膜或放入的隔膜有毛病(它会在注入熔化的塑性材料的压力下被穿孔),则该真空孔会被注入模腔内的热塑性材料所阻塞。
此外,准备模具内的真空通道和连接到所述的真空通道的真空泵会增加该模具的成本。
为了克服上述缺点,本发明的另外一个主题是提供一种制造热塑性材料螺旋盖的方法。其中在注入之前,把隔膜插入并保持在该模腔内,以致当注入热塑性材料时,隔膜被模压在内并永久地粘贴在该盖子水平顶面的外表面上,其特征在于:模具由一阴模和能在开启和闭合位置之间相对移动的筒形模组成,
当模具处于开启位置时,隔膜被置于紧贴阴模的模腔底面,由它的周边与用来形成在盖子圆筒形侧缘内的凹槽的阴模的肋之间的摩擦抵住而保持在其位置上,所以,在随后的模具闭合过程中,筒形模的端表面被靠近该隔膜,
通过该筒形模,把熔化的热塑性材料注入筒形模和阴模之间来制成该盖子,而且同时使盖子水平顶面中的隔膜与朝下弯曲的壁结合在一起形成覆盖层。

图1至图5显示了一种高硬度热塑性材料螺旋盖,例如其内掺有矿物纤维的聚丙烯,其硬度大于75回跳〔肖氏〕硬度,可以用来封盖食品工业中的罐或瓶子,用于装固体制品(如蔬菜或肉类),液态制品(如水果汁),或糊状制品(如调味品)。
按照同一申请人发表的欧洲申请号为EP-A-0261645的申请,所述的盖子有一安全密封,不论怎样把盖子瞎搞都行;然而,本发明也发展了其它类型的安全密封盖,除了不具有安全密封盖的以外。
图示的这种盖子包括一水平顶面1和一具有用来把盖子拧在前述类型的容器的外螺纹口上的内螺纹3的圆筒形侧缘2。
这种盖子在它的顶面有一环形肋4,和在圆筒形侧缘2的内表面上部有一径向肋5。4和5两肋形成一个环状座用来安装一密封件6以在盖子与容器口的边缘之间形成密封,密封件6是由浇注在里面然后加温使其聚合的塑料溶胶构成。
象上述的欧洲申请所详细描述的一样,盖子在圆筒形侧缘2与较下的环8之间有一可撕裂的圈7,环8有一内环肋9,它在盖子第一次拧上后被钩扣在容器口上一个相对应的肋上。
特别是如图3所示,盖子的水平顶面1有一直径小于盖子圆筒形侧缘2的直径的圆外形。
水平顶面半径与圆筒形侧缘半径之差,图3用A表示,最好是在1到1.2毫米之间。
水平顶面1也位于圆筒形侧缘2顶部之上。其高度差,图3中用B表示,最好约为1毫米。
水平顶面1的周边是通过一朝下弯曲的壁10与盖子圆筒形侧缘顶部上的圆拱环形肩11相连接的。
弯曲部分10的半径在1.2毫米至1.8毫米之间,最好是1.5毫米,而圆拱肩11的半径最好是0.75毫米。

凹槽12最好是半径为0.5毫米的半圆形凹槽,而且凹槽的角间距,图4中用D表示,大约为10度。
一层永久地粘贴在盖子水平顶面1的外表面上的薄覆盖层用13表示。覆盖层13由一种阻挡气体通过顶面的材料制成。
特别是如图3所示的,覆盖层13覆盖整个顶面1的水平部分和朝下弯曲的壁10。
如图5所示,盖盖层13由一合成的、层压材料构成,包括一与制造这种盖子用的相同类型的热塑性材料(即聚丙烯,但是其熔点是30-50度,比制造盖子用的熔点要低)的里层14,一形成气体阻挡层的中间层15,一塑料外层16。
中间层15最好由厚度在0.008至0.014毫米的一层铝膜组成。
或者,中间层15也可以由用来阻挡空气通过的一层塑料构成,例如聚偏二氯乙烯或聚乙烯醇。
外层16所用的塑料可以是由,如聚酯或聚丙烯所组成。聚酯被认为较好,因为它有助于形成阻挡气体通过的阻挡层并具有良好的抗静电性能。
外层16是透明材料,在它的内表面带有由印在其上的文字或图案16a,例如由轮转凹版印刷术或由橡皮版印刷术印制。
整个覆盖层13的厚度通常在0.130毫米至0.400毫米之间。
盖子是用注模法生产的,薄覆盖层13是在盖子本身注模过程中由放入水平顶面1和盖子中的隔膜13a形成的。
如图3副图所示,隔膜13a的直径D稍大于与凹槽12底部相切的假设的圆筒体表面的直径D1。
最好直径D与D1之差为0.2毫米。
上述的制造方法如详图6、7和8所示。
在图6中,表示由17、18两部分构成的模具处于开启位置。
模具部分17具有一阴模19,部分18具有一筒形模20,筒形模20有一个为注入熔化了的热塑性材料到模具内的通道21,和一对相对于部件18所沿径向移动的顎板22。
阴模19有用来形成盖子圆筒形侧缘里的凹槽12的内肋23。
如图6所示模具处于开启位置,隔膜13a位于顶着阴模19的模腔底面位置上,由于隔膜13a的直径大于相接触的肋23凸出处的圆筒形表面的直径,所以它的周边由于肋23而被摩擦力抵住。因此隔膜13a以一种非常简单而有效的方法被保持在模具内的位置。
在合上模具后的下一步骤里,筒形模20的底表面20a被靠近隔膜13a如图7所示。
在随后的通过筒模20的通道21注入热塑性材料的步骤中,隔膜13a被模压和永久地粘贴到盖子水平顶面1和朝下弯曲壁10上,形成覆盖层13。
形成一阻挡层阻止气体通过的覆盖层13也覆盖了向下弯曲的壁10这个事实,增加了对阻止气体通过盖子的防护,特别是当盖子有气体渗透密封装置时,例如一块硬化塑料溶胶衬垫。
此外,即使在隔膜和盖子圆形水平顶面之间有一点偏心也不会影响盖子的外观美。
Claims (5)
1、一种热塑性材料螺旋盖,它有一个水平顶面(1),一个具有用来把该盖子拧在一个容器的外螺纹口上的内螺纹(3)的圆筒形侧缘(2),和由该水平顶面的内表面所附带的密封装置(6),当该盖子拧到该容器上时,该密封装置与该容器结合在该容器内侧与该盖子之间形成密封,该盖子在该水平顶面(1)的外表面上有一个用来形成一阻挡层阻挡气体通过该顶面(1)的复合层压材料构成的薄覆盖层(13),该薄覆盖层(13)由在该盖子的注模过程中放入水平顶面(1)的一个隔膜(13a)形成,其特征是:
该盖子的水平顶面(1)有一个直径比该盖子的圆筒形侧缘(2)的直径小的圆外形,而且位于圆筒形侧缘(2)的顶部之上,
水平顶面(1)的周边通过朝下弯曲的壁(10)与在盖子圆筒形侧缘(2)顶部的圆拱形肩(11)相连接,
该盖子的圆筒形侧缘(2)的外表面有彼此隔开的从该圆拱形肩(11)伸至靠近该侧缘(2)的底部的竖向凹槽(12),
用来形成薄覆盖层(13)的隔膜(13a)的直径稍大于假设的与该凹槽(12)的底部相切的圆筒体表面的直径,从而该覆盖层(13)粘贴在该盖子的水平顶面(1)和该向下弯曲的壁(10)上。
2、根据权利要求1,用注入热塑性材料于一个模具的模腔内来制造热塑性材料螺旋盖的方法,其中在注入之前,把隔膜(13a)插入并保持在该模腔内,以致当注入热塑性材料时,隔膜(13a)被模压在内并永久地粘贴在该盖子水平顶面的外表面上,其特征在于:
模具(17、18)由一阴模(19)和能在开启和闭合位置之间相对移动的筒形模(20)组成,
当模具处于开启位置时,隔膜(13a)被置于紧贴阴模(19)的模腔底面,由它的周边与用来形成在盖子圆筒形侧缘(2)内的凹槽(12)的阴模(19)的肋(23)之间的摩擦抵住而保持在其位置上,所以,在随后的模具闭合过程中,筒形模(20)的端表面(20a)被靠近该隔膜(13a),
通过该筒形模(20),把熔化的热塑性材料注入筒形模(20)和阴模(19)之间来制成该盖子,而且同时使盖子水平顶面(1)中的隔膜(13a)与朝下弯曲的壁(19)结合在一起形成覆盖层(13)。
3、根据权利要求1所述的盖子,其特征在于隔膜(13a)的直径(D)比与盖子的圆筒形侧缘(2)的凹槽(12)底部相切的假设的圆柱体直径(D1)要大0.2毫米。
4、根据权利要求1所述的盖子,其特征在于:
盖子的水平顶面(1)的半径大约比盖子的圆筒体侧缘(2)的半径小1毫米,
水平顶面(1)的位置大约高于盖子的圆筒体侧缘(2)的顶部1毫米,
水平顶部分(1)周边的向下弯曲壁(10)的半径(R1)在1.2至1.8毫米之间,最好是1.5毫米,
盖子圆筒体侧缘(2)顶部的圆拱形肩(11)的半径(R2)大约为0.75毫米,
盖子圆筒体侧缘(2)的凹槽(12)的截面为一个半径约为0.5毫米的半圆形,且其凹槽的角间距大约为10度。
5、根据权利要求1所述的盖子,由聚丙烯制成,而且具有一个复合层压材料的覆盖层,这复合层压材料包括:
一层聚丙烯里层,
一层铝膜中间层,
一层透明的聚酯外层,
其特征在于:
该盖子是由掺入了矿物纤维的聚丙烯组成,其硬度大于75回跳〔肖氏〕硬度,
里层(14)是由熔点为30-50摄氏度的聚丙烯制成,比制造该盖子用的聚丙烯的度数要低,
外层聚酯层(16)在其内表面带有印刷的文字和/或图案(16a)。
