根据本发明通过使用用于块衬砌冶金容器如鼓风炉的耐火内衬的至少一些耐火元件的捣打料来实现所述目的,所述捣打料由颗粒相和粘合剂相的混合物构成,其中所述颗粒相和/或所述粘合剂包含具有微孔结构或在鼓风炉运行期间通过烧制作用能够形成微孔结构的至少一种组分。
发明内容
本发明的概述
因而根据本发明的捣打料具有的优点是在所述冶金容器中产生块或砖之间的接合部,这对于熔融金属和能够对这些接合部产生物理或化学作用的其他侵蚀性试剂的侵袭具有更好的耐受性。这种改善源于所述接合部的微孔结构,这避免或至少大大限制了金属或其他侵蚀性试剂经由接合部的渗透作用,从而避免了由损坏的接合部区开始的对这些块的相应侵蚀。在这个方面,值得注意的是使用一方面的微孔颗粒相,和另一方面能够形成这种微孔结构的粘合剂的有益效应,同时至少在初始加热时间期间保持良好的可压缩性,如以下所见。
应当指出的是,在本发明的上下文中(以及尤其是与由IUPAC规定的定义相反的),微孔结构是指一种结构,其孔道具有小于2μm的平均尺寸。因此,本发明提及的微孔材料是指具有2μm或更小,且优选1μm或更小平均孔径的那些。
根据第一个具体实施方式,所述颗粒相基本上由具有微孔结构的碳或碳类颗粒构成。这种结构本身已经提供了对现有技术的颗粒材料(由于孔径降低)的明显改进,因此可以,如前面所示,提供对于熔融金属的侵蚀和对于能够对这些接合部产生物理或化学作用的其他侵蚀性试剂更好的耐受性。此外,还能够以针对具有微孔结构的块的类似方式,提供更有效的热通量传输,从而限制了表面层的加热,并因此有助于维持较冷金属层与所述内衬表面相接触,该较冷金属层也对耐火壁具有保护作用。
在第一变体中,所述捣打料可以由这种微孔颗粒相和基于焦油或聚合树脂的粘合剂构成。
根据一个特别有利的实施方式,所述粘合剂相由至少一种焦油型组分构成,此外,当所述鼓风炉恢复运行时在放置所述捣打料之后在温度升高期间发生的高温下烧制时其能够产生微孔结构。因此,在鼓风炉工作运行开始时,在上述升高温度的作用下在所述接合部硬化之前,所述粘合剂的可压缩性以已知方式起到允许在所述耐火内衬组件中松弛由材料的差异加热产生的热机械应力的作用。接着,当所述接合部通过暴露于高温,通常超过800℃进行烧制时,则不仅会发生由于聚合作用所致的已知硬化作用,而且还会形成本发明特异性的微孔结构。
根据其他替代实施方式,所述粘合剂相由聚合树脂类型的至少一种组分构成,当所述鼓风炉恢复运行时在放置所述捣打料之后在温度升高期间发生的高温下烧制时其同样能够产生微孔结构。因此,在鼓风炉运行工作开始时,在通过暴露于升高的温度将所述接合部硬化之前,所述粘合剂的可压缩性以已知方式起到允许在所述耐火内衬组件中松弛由材料差异加热产生的热机械应力的作用。接着,一旦通过暴露于所述高温来烧制所述接合部时,则如在某些点,具体而言超过800℃时会发生的,由于聚合作用产生的已知硬化作用,形成本发明特异性的微孔结构。
这种微孔结构是由于向粘合剂中加入当烧制时能够使之微孔化的添加剂,如金属硅粉所致,其作用是采用来自焦油或树脂或碳纤维的碳在烧制时产生SiC晶须。作为提醒,可以回顾,“晶须”是几乎完全缺乏晶体缺陷的小直径细长制品,这为其提供了非常高的机械强度。这些晶须,通过延伸横过所述硬化的焦油状物质或聚合树脂的孔道,会产生提供非常强大障碍的微孔率,这防止液体金属或其他侵蚀性试剂渗透。也能够使用具有类似于二氧化硅粉末效应的其他添加剂。
根据其他具体实施方式,所述微孔材料颗粒相可以通过碾磨微孔耐火块,来自切割微孔耐火块的废弃物,或从先前的耐火内衬回收的使用过的微孔碳块而获得。
根据又其他实施方式,所述粘合剂基质相可以包含精细石墨颗粒,其通过改善所述捣打料本身的润滑作用赋予其更好的压实性能。
同样,这种基质相可以包含防止液态铁侵蚀的试剂,像例如TiC或TiO2,其具有提高与所产生的接合部接触的铁的粘度的能力,从而还更好地防止铁渗透进入所述接合部材料中。
本发明另外的目的是提供在炉例如冶金容器的耐火内衬的耐火元件之间产生热接合部的方法,其中使用了由颗粒相和粘合剂相的捣打混合物构成的物料,其中所述粘合剂由以下构成:在焦油或聚合树脂中的至少一种组分,和在放置所述捣打料之后通过由于所述冶金容器温度升高所致的烧制作用能够使所述粘合剂变成微孔的添加剂,如金属硅粉。
这种方法具体而言可以用于在构成所述容器侧壁的两个同心环形组件之间产生接合部,并在其间限定由所述接合部填充的环形间隙,以及用于在构成所述容器侧壁的内部环形组件的下部部件和构成所述容器底板的一个或多个耐火层的外周之间产生接合部。
本发明的又另一个目的是提供冶金容器,如鼓风炉,其包含由多个耐火块或砖的组件的组装物形成的耐火内衬,其在至少一些这些块或砖或者这些块或砖的组件之间限定了由接合部填充的间隙,其中所述接合部基于如先前定义的捣打料而形成。这种接合部可以在构成所述炉膛侧壁的两个同心环形组件之间形成并在其间限定由所述接合部填充的环形间隙。如果需要的话,侧壁还可以包含多于两个同心环形组件,所述接合部在所述环形组件之间的每个界面上形成。这种接合部也可以在内部环形组件的下部部件和构成所述容器底板的一个或多个耐火层的外周之间形成。

具体实施方式
优选实施方式的描述
该图上仅部分显示的鼓风炉的炉身1以已知方式包括,配备有冷却面板12的金属壁11。底部2包含多个耐火材料的重叠层,例如,从底部开始,位于冷却液体从其中通过的冷却管211之上的石墨块的第一层21,也由标准碳块构成的第二层22,可以由具有非常高的热导率的超微孔碳块构成的第三层23,和陶瓷砖的两个层24,25。在块的第一层21之下,所述冷却管道可以嵌埋入碳捣打料中。
从第四层24的水平开始,耐火侧壁由两个同心环形组件3,4构成,每个组件都是由叠置环31,41的堆叠构成,每个环是由周围排列的具有非常高的热导率的微孔碳块构成。环形间隙,径向厚度为60mm量级,提供于最靠近冷堆叠壁的外环形组件和内环形组件之间,并由根据本发明的捣打料产生的接合部5填充。在一个方面在底部和外环形组件的第一层的外周,和另一个方面通过冷面板冷却的壁之间的间隙,由捣打料6填充,所述捣打料6可以是传统类型,其不能暴露于非常高的温度。
同心环形组件3和4向上延伸到炉膛上部水平,所述耐火内衬采用标准碳块的环形组件7继续向上超过其。
内环的第一层41a和41b和底部的陶瓷底部层24,25之间存在用根据本发明的捣打料产生的周围接合部8,以补偿在底部周围的几何形状和第一内环内部表面的圆形形状之间的偏差。这个区域尤其存在问题,因为它正好处于水平底部和炉膛垂直壁之间的夹角中,因此特别热,此外在底部和侧壁之间的这种环形接合区垂直延伸,因此特别容易被熔融铁渗透。在该水平下形成的捣打料接合部8可以另外在径向方向上表现出厚度显著变化,这也削弱了热特性的均匀性。根据本发明的捣打料由于其在热机械耐受性,提供对抗铁渗透的屏障以及在炉中温度升高阶段期间可压缩的方面的有利特性在该水平下特别良好地调整,以便将对邻近块的机械应力降至最低,从而随后确保最大可能的无泄露。
在两个同心环形组件之间的接合部5的水平处,特别相关的是根据本发明的捣打料的热导率和可压缩性特性。如已经指出的,所述可压缩性可以在内部组件直接暴露于熔融金属的热量同时外部组件保持冷却时限制两个组件3和4之间的热机械应力。所述热导率确保从内侧朝向耐火内衬外侧进行最佳热传递,从而限制所述内环块的加热。
因此,结合使用高性能碳和陶瓷块,放入根据本发明的捣打料可以确保在所述内衬厚度的每个等温曲线的水平上所述耐火内衬的热机械特性的良好均匀性持续比采用现有技术的捣打料更长时间,同时确保接合部特性和局部应力之间最佳可能匹配,以尽可能地将所述接合部水平处的耐火内衬的结构不均匀性的负作用降至最低。

Claims (16)

1.一种用于块衬砌冶金容器如鼓风炉的耐火内衬的至少一些耐火元件的捣打料,所述捣打料由颗粒相和粘合剂相的混合物组成,其中所述颗粒相和/或粘合剂包括具有微孔结构或通过烧制能够形成微孔结构的至少一种组分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的捣打料,其中所述颗粒相本质上包括具有微孔结构的碳或碳类颗粒。
3.根据权利要求2所述的捣打料,其中所述微孔材料颗粒相通过碾磨微孔耐火块、来自切割微孔耐火块的废料或使用过的微孔碳块来获得。
4.根据权利要求1所述的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括基于焦油或聚合树脂的至少一种组分。
5.根据权利要求4所述的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括能够在高温烧制时形成微孔结构的至少一种组分。
6.根据权利要求4所述的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括在烧制时通过形成横跨硬化焦油或聚合材料的孔道发展的晶须能够使其微孔化的添加剂。
7.根据权利要求5所述的捣打料,其特征在于所述添加剂是金属硅粉。
8.根据权利要求1所述的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括精细石墨颗粒。
9.根据权利要求1所述的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括抗液体铁腐蚀的试剂,如TiC或TiO2.
10.一种用于产生冶金容器如鼓风炉的耐火内衬的耐火元件(2,3,4)之间的热接合部的方法,根据所述方法使用由颗粒相和粘合剂相的混合物组成的捣打料,其中所述粘合剂包括基于焦油或聚合树脂的至少一种组分,以及添加剂如金属硅粉,其在放置所述捣打料之后通过来自所述冶金容器的温度升高的烧制能够使所述粘合剂微孔化。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,用于在构成所述容器侧壁的两个同心环形组件(3,4)之间产生接合部(5)并在其间定义由所述接合部填充的环形间隙。
12.根据权利要求10所述的方法,用于在构成所述容器侧壁的内环组件(4)的下部和构成所述容器底板的一个或多个耐火层(24,25)的周边之间产生接合部(8)。
13.一种包括由耐火块或砖的多个组件(2,3,4)的组装形成的耐火内衬的冶金容器,在这些块或砖或者块或砖的组件中的至少一些之间定义了由接合部填充的间隙,其中基于根据权利要求1~9中任一项所定义的捣打料或通过根据权利要求10~12中任一项所述的方法来形成所述接合部(5,8)。
14.根据权利要求13所述的冶金容器,其中在构成所述容器侧壁的两个同心环形组件(4,5)之间形成所述接合部(5)并在其间定义由所述接合部填充的环形间隙。
15.根据权利要求13所述的冶金容器,其中在构成所述容器侧壁的内环组件(4)的下部和构成所述容器底板的一个或多个耐火层(24,25)的周边之间形成所述接合部(8)。
16.根据权利要求13~15中任一项所述的冶金容器,其特征在于它是鼓风炉。
