Abstract

技术领域

背景技术
用于读取可解码标记的标记读取终端以多种种类可用。例如,缺少键盘和显示器的最低表征的标记读取终端在销售点应用中是常见的。缺少键盘和显示器的标记读取终端在可识别的枪型形状因数中是可用的,该枪型形状因数具有把手和能被食指所驱动的触发按钮(触发器)。配备键盘和显示器的标记读取终端通常被用于运送和仓库应用中,并且以结合显示器和键盘的形状因数可用。在配备键盘和显示器的标记读取终端中,用于驱动解码消息的输出的触发按钮典型地被提供在这样的位置中,以便能够由操作员的拇指所驱动。一些标记读取终端适合于读取条形码符号,该条形码符号包括一个或多个一维(1D)条形码、层叠1D条形码、以及二维(2D)条形码。其它标记读取终端适合于读取OCR字符,而还有其它的标记读取终端被配备成既读取条形码符号又读取OCR字符。

发明内容
在一个实施例中,提供了一种光学标记读取装置,包括微处理器、存储器、和多个晶圆级照相机(WLC)模块。每个WLC模块可以包括图像传感器和聚焦透镜,并且可以被配置成输出表示入射在图像传感器上的光的信号。第一WLC模块的光轴可以相对于第二WLC模块的光轴被空间布置,使得这些WLC模块的视场(FOV)至少部分地重叠。该光学标记读取装置可以被配置成通过处理由这些WLC模块所输出的多个信号中的两个或更多个信号来生成图像帧。该光学标记读取装置可以进一步被配置成输出包括可解码标记的图像的图像帧和/或与该可解码标记相对应的解码消息。

具体实施方式
当前,基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器的成本仍旧相当大地在激光或线性扫描器的成本之上。然而,基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器因为它们提供了更加广泛的功能性而对于许多应用是优选的。
用于减少基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器的成本的一种方式是采用晶圆级照相机(WLC)模块。WLC模块是一种光电子设备,包括图像传感器和其它部件(诸如微透镜),全部安装在单个管芯上。为延伸光学标记读取器的工作读取范围和/或视场(FOV),多个WLC模块可以被采用在单个装置内,如以下在此所详细描述的。
根据若干说明性实施例,提供了一种光学标记读取装置,包括微处理器、存储器、通信接口、和多个WLC模块,全部被置于共同的外壳(例如便携式外壳)内。每个WLC模块可以包括固态图像传感器(例如,CMOS图像传感器)、聚焦透镜,以及其它光电子部件,全部安装在单个管芯上。

WLC模块101的视场(FOV)可以被定义为可以由WLC模块在任何给定时刻所成像的环境的可观察范围。在一个说明性实施例中,FOV122可以由透镜106的有效焦距和传感器102的尺寸所定义。FOV122的空间位置可以由光轴120的方向所定义,光轴120是空间视角的中心线。

现在参照图3来描述标记读取装置1000的说明性实施例的部件图。外壳1014可以被配置成容纳装置1000的其它部件。装置1000可以包括多个WLC模块101a-101z。如上述在此所详细描述的,每个WLC模块101可以包括固态图像传感器和放置在该图像传感器之上的微透镜106。每个WLC模块101可以被配置成输出表示入射在固态图像传感器上的光的模拟信号。

其中所述光学标记读取装置被配置成通过处理由所述多个WLC模块所输出的多个信号中的两个或更多个信号来生成包括可解码标记的图像的图像帧;
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成在所述存储器中存储所述图像帧;以及
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个:所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。

其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个:所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。

其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成在所述存储器中存储所述图像帧;
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个:包括可解码标记的图像的所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。
C2.(C1)的光学标记读取装置,进一步包括至少一个照明光源。

其中,所述多个WLC模块中的第一WLC模块的光轴相对于所述多个WLC模块的第二WLC模块的光轴被空间布置,使得所述第一WLC模块的视场(FOV)与所述第二WLC模块的FOV至少部分地重叠;
其中所述光学标记读取装置被配置成通过处理由所述多个WLC模块所输出的多个信号中的两个或更多个信号来生成包括可解码标记的图像的图像帧;
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成在所述存储器中存储所述图像帧;以及
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个:所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。
2.权利要求1的光学标记读取装置,进一步包括至少一个照明光源。
3.权利要求1的光学标记读取装置,进一步包括至少一个瞄准光源。

其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个:所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。

10.权利要求8的光学标记读取装置,进一步包括至少一个瞄准光源。
