技术领域

背景技术

具体实施方式
当前，基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器的成本仍旧相当大地在激光或线性扫描器的成本之上。然而，基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器因为它们提供了更加广泛的功能性而对于许多应用是优选的。 
用于减少基于数字成像器的光学标记读取器的成本的一种方式是采用晶圆级照相机(WLC)模块。WLC模块是一种光电子设备，包括图像传感器和其它部件(诸如微透镜)，全部安装在单个管芯上。为延伸光学标记读取器的工作读取范围和/或视场(FOV)，多个WLC模块可以被采用在单个装置内，如以下在此所详细描述的。 
根据若干说明性实施例，提供了一种光学标记读取装置，包括微处理器、存储器、通信接口、和多个WLC模块，全部被置于共同的外壳(例如便携式外壳)内。每个WLC模块可以包括固态图像传感器(例如，CMOS图像传感器)、聚焦透镜，以及其它光电子部件，全部安装在单个管芯上。

装置1000能以被称为帧率的速率来捕获图像数据帧。典型的帧率是60帧每秒(FPS)，其转化为16.6ms的帧时间(帧周期)。另一个典型的帧率是30FPS，其转化为每帧33.3ms的帧时间(帧周期)。可以通过减少帧画面尺寸来增加装置1000的帧率(和减少帧时间)。 
图4描绘了装置1000的说明性实施例。特别地，装置1000可具有外壳1014，其可以是手持式外壳。外壳1014可以被配置成封装以上在此所描述的装置1000的多个部件。成像透镜组件200可以适于将位于衬底T上的视场1240内的可解码标记15的图像聚焦到WLC模块101a-101z。成像光线可以在成像轴25附近被传输。透镜组件200可适于具有多个焦距和多个最优焦点平面(最佳焦点距离)的能力。

其中，所述多个WLC模块中的第一WLC模块的光轴相对于所述多个WLC模块的第二WLC模块的光轴被空间布置，使得所述第一WLC模块的视场(FOV)与所述第二WLC模块的FOV至少部分地重叠；
其中所述光学标记读取装置被配置成通过处理由所述多个WLC模块所输出的多个信号中的两个或更多个信号来生成包括可解码标记的图像的图像帧；
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成在所述存储器中存储所述图像帧；以及
其中所述光学标记读取装置进一步被配置成输出以下中的至少一个：所述图像帧、与所述可解码标记相对应的解码消息。
2.权利要求1的光学标记读取装置，进一步包括至少一个照明光源。
