技术领域

本发明具体地涉及包括马达驱动的搅动器的清洁头。另一方面,真空吸尘器可以是任何一般类型。例如,清洁头可以是立式真空吸尘器上的固定清洁头,或者,替代地它可以是与卧式真空吸尘器或杆式真空吸尘器一起使用的地面工具的清洁头。
背景技术
通常提供一种具有搅动器的真空吸尘器的清洁头,该搅动器例如为旋转刷棒,用于搅动或“敲打”地面表面,特别是地毯,以提高拾取性能。
虽然吸尘器上的主真空马达可用于驱动该搅动器,但是更通常使用单独的专用马达来驱动搅动器。该单独的马达可于是靠近搅动器定位,通常定位在清洁头自身上的某处,以简化传动装置。在US1,914,834中描述的特别空间高效的装置中,其图1已经被复制至此,清洁头a具有可旋转地安装在轴b上的中空管状刷棒d形式的搅动器。该刷棒d有效地构成转子,其由容纳在刷棒d内部的电枢c驱动。

发明内容

该刷棒通过将刷棒经由在清洁头的与驱动组件端相对的端部处的开口滑出,直接地并且方便地移除。不需要提供任何复杂的铰接机构来允许刷棒移除。相反,驱动组件可固定地安装在清洁头中。
使用中,轴承有助于保持刷棒和驱动组件之间的稳定的间隙。然而,由于刷棒以滑动配合接合轴承,因此刷棒的直接的轴向滑动移除没有受该轴承阻碍。
刷棒可以摩擦配合接合轴承。这被认为特别方便,但是不是必要的。例如,刷棒可通过某种类型的键配合轴向接合该轴承。
该轴承可软安装在驱动组件上。例如,弹性构件,如弹性安装套环或圈等,可设置在内座圈和驱动组件之间。类似地,刷棒可软安装在轴承上。例如,弹性构件,如弹性安装套环或圈等,可设置在轴承外座圈和刷棒之间。优选地,弹性构件设置在内座圈和驱动组件之间以及外座圈和刷棒之间。这有助于减小通过驱动组件传递到刷棒的振动。
驱动组件可通过驱动爪接合刷棒。该驱动爪也可以相应的轴向配合接合刷棒,以不阻碍刷棒通过在清洁头的相对端中的开口的移除。在该种布置方式中,软安装轴承的使用在调整装配公差方面特别有利,特别地,如果驱动爪在清洁头的相对端处与驱动组件间隔开。以该方式将驱动爪和清洁头的相对的端部附近的轴承间隔开提供对刷棒的稳定支撑。
刷棒可以是“间接驱动”的,经由某种传动装置驱动,或“直接驱动”的。在间接驱动配置中,传动装置可以是行星齿轮装置,但是这不是必须的。传动装置可形成被支撑在清洁头的一端处的驱动组件的一部分,但是再次地,这不是必须的,例如,齿轮箱可定位在清洁头的与马达的相对的端部处,以使马达和齿轮箱彼此平衡重量。
可移除端帽可设置在清洁头的与驱动组件相对的端部处,以允许刷棒的所述滑动移除。刷棒可在使用中由设置在该端帽中的第二轴承支撑。该第二轴承可以直接的推压配合方便地接合刷棒,使端帽从刷棒容易地分离,例如以使刷棒方便更换。该端帽可通过卡口配合固定到清洁头的相关端部,但是这不是必须的。

具体实施方式
图2示出了立式真空吸尘器2。吸尘器2包括支撑固定的清洁头6的滚动头组件4,和“直立”本体8,该本体8可相对于头组件4倾斜,并且包括手柄10,用于跨地面操纵清洁头2。使用中,使用者抓握手柄10,并且倾斜直立本体8,直到手柄10布置到对于使用者方便的高度处;使用者可然后使用手柄10跨地面滚动真空吸尘器2,以拾取地面上的灰尘或其他碎屑。灰尘和碎屑通过面向下的抽吸口由容纳在吸尘器2上的马达驱动的风扇吸入,该抽吸口设置在清洁头6的下侧上的底板6a中。从抽吸口,携带灰尘的气流以常规方式在风扇产生的抽吸压力下被管道输送到旋风分离设备12,在该设备12中,灰尘被从空气分离,然后相对清洁的空气被排出回到大气。
底板6a可以常规方式移除,以提供到清洁头6的内部的入口。
清洁头6更详细地显示在图3中,该图为沿图2中的A-A截取的截面视图。该清洁头6包括中空圆柱状刷棒14,该刷棒14安装在清洁头6内部,以围绕轴线A旋转。刷棒14主要目的在于提高在地毯表面上的拾取性能。使用中,刷棒14上的刷毛14a通过底板6a中的抽吸口伸出,以穿入地毯纤维中,并且在刷棒14旋转时,其搅动动作有助于驱出附着到地毯纤维的顽固灰尘,以使该灰尘随后可更容易地被夹带在通过抽吸口吸入清洁头6内的气流中。
旋转刷棒14由专用刷棒马达16驱动,该刷棒马达16同轴地容纳在中空刷棒14的一端内部。马达16通过输出轴16a上的驱动爪18驱动刷棒14,驱动爪18从内部以键连接到刷棒14的相对端中。驱动爪18沿轴向,即平行于旋转轴线A地接合刷棒14,并且通过相应的凸轮表面22(图4)引导来与刷棒14上的两个可供选择的键槽20中的一个接合。
马达16形成较大的驱动组件24的一部分,其在清洁头6的一端处悬臂伸出。该驱动组件24在马达16的内侧端处包括行星齿轮箱26,且在马达16的外侧端处包括安装托架28,托架在刷棒14内部为马达16和齿轮箱组件26提供悬臂支撑。
刷棒14类似于套筒装配在驱动组件24上,并且通过第一轴承28可旋转地支撑在驱动组件24上,该第一轴承28围绕驱动组件24带间隙地保持刷棒14。第一轴承28在该情况下紧挨着齿轮箱26的内侧定位在防护外壳30上,该防护外壳30有助于防止灰尘进入马达16和齿轮箱26中。
刷棒14以轴向滑动摩擦配合接合第一轴承28,允许刷棒14在驱动组件24上类似于套筒沿轴向滑动。
第二轴承32支撑刷棒14的相对端。该第二轴承32设置在可移除端帽34中。第二轴承32沿轴向推入配合到刷棒14的配合端14b上。轴向推入配合不是必要的,但是是简单和有效的。端帽34自身通过卡口式配合固定到外壳。这较佳地显示在图5a和5b中,图中底板6a被移除。此外,卡口式配合的使用是简单和有效的,但不是必要的。在该情况下,端帽34通过螺钉36锁定在位,以防止意外松开,但是这是可任选的。
可移除底板6a包括端盖,该端盖类似于显示在图2中清洁头6的相对端处的端盖38,其在底板6a就位时装配在端帽34上,防止使用中接近端帽34,并且提供给清洁头6的端部“干净”的完整外观。
有时,将需要移除刷棒14来进行清洗、修理或更换。为了移除刷棒14,使用者首先移除底板,然后松开端帽34,并且将刷棒14通过清洁头6的敞开端部轴向地(与旋转轴线A平行)滑出,如图6中所示。端帽34可从刷棒14移除,并且如果刷棒14被整体更换,则端帽34最终将需要从刷棒14移除,或者,可替代地,端帽34和刷棒14可一起作为一件拉出。
第一轴承28和刷棒14之间的轴向滑动配合意味着刷棒14的轴向滑动移除不受第一轴承28的阻碍。因而,刷棒14可简单地从马达16周围类似于套筒那样轴向抽出,并且整个驱动组件24可保持牢固地固定在清洁头6的闭合端处。不需要马达或较大的驱动组件的任何复杂的铰接安装件。
类似地,由于驱动爪18从内部轴向地以键连接到刷棒14,因此驱动爪18同样不阻碍刷棒通过清洁头6的端部的轴向滑出移除。这对于驱动爪沿径向接合刷棒的布置是优选的,尽管这样的布置可被替代地使用,因为驱动爪和刷棒之间的径向互锁往往会阻碍刷棒轴向移除,除非提供某种类型的自动松脱机构。
在清洗、修理或更换之后,刷棒14被(再次)通过清洁头6的开放端插回,并且与第一轴承28形成摩擦接合,并且与驱动爪18形成轴向键合接合(通过凸轮表面22)。此外,刷棒14类似于套筒简单地在驱动组件24上滑动,驱动组件24因此不阻碍刷棒14的插入。当刷棒14已经被完全插入时,然后可将端帽34通过卡口配合固定到外壳,以将刷棒保持在位(如果端帽34之前已经从刷棒14的端部移除,则需要将端帽34推压装配回到刷棒上,在该情况下,这最好在刷棒14插入清洁头6中之前进行)。当底板6a已经放回在位时,于是清洁头6准备用于再次使用。

Claims (13)
