Abstract
本发明涉及通式(I)EA2-y Si(CN2)4-xOx:Euy的碳二亚胺化合物,其中EA代表一种或多种选自Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba或Zn的元素且x代表0-3.9的值,且y代表0.01-0.4的值,和制备这些无机发光材料的方法,及其作为转换无机发光材料或在灯中的用途。
Description
本发明涉及碳二亚胺化合物,这些化合物的制备方法及其作为转换无机发光材料或在灯中的用途。
LED日益重要—作为照明以及用作液晶显示器(LC显示器)的背光照明。这些新型光源具有与常规冷阴极荧光灯(CCFL)相比的大量优点,例如更长的寿命、潜在节能、不存在有害内容物(例如CCFL中的汞)。
近年来,已公布了涉及碳二亚胺基无机发光材料的递增数量的文件。具体而言,这些为含有碳二亚胺阴离子(CN2)2-作为中心单元并可用Ce3+、Eu3+或Tb3+掺杂的化合物。其实例为Gd2(CN2)3:Ce3+和Gd2(CN2)3:Tb3+(J.Glaser等人,Inorg.Chem.2008,47,10455-10460)和Y2O2(CN2):Eu3+(J.Sindlinger等人,Z.Anorg.Allg.Chem.2007,633,1686-1690)。
然而,所述无机发光材料的缺点在于它们不能在蓝色LED的发射波长(即440-460nm)下被激发,这是它们为什么不适用作白光LED的无机发光材料。
此外,所谓的硅碳二亚胺是已知的(J.Glaser和H.-J.Meyer,Angew.Chem.2008,120,7658-7661),其迄今仅可以以未掺杂形式得到,因此不适用作无机发光材料。
令人惊讶的是,现在发现结构上类似于原硅酸盐的Eu掺杂化合物是有效的无机发光材料,其可在可见光谱的蓝色和UV区中被激发以产生绿色至红色荧光。
因此,本发明的第一实施方案为式I化合物:
EA2-ySi(CN2)4-xOx:Euy (I)
其中:
EA代表一种或多种选自Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba或Zn的元素,且
x代表0-3.9的值,且
y代表0.01-0.4的值。
与原硅酸盐无机发光材料相反,这些可称为碱土金属硅碳二亚胺的化合物不会对湿气而言不稳定。另外,本发明无机发光材料显示出与原硅酸盐相比发射波长的红移,这是由于与氧相比,碳二亚胺基团稍微更高的共价。
x优选代表0-3.0,特别优选0-2.5的值。
y优选代表0.02-0.35,特别优选0.04-0.30的值。
在另一实施方案中,式I化合物还可含有碱金属,例如Na、K或Li。
本发明无机发光材料甚至在少量使用时产生良好的LED品质。LED品质在此处借助常规参数如彩色再现指数或CIE x和CIE y坐标中的色点描述。
彩色再现指数或CRI为本领域技术人员熟悉的无因次采光量,其对比人造光源与日光和/或细丝光源的颜色再现真实性(后两者具有100的CRI)。
CIE x和CIE y代表本领域技术人员熟悉的标准CIE比色图表(此处标准观察者1931)的坐标,通过其描述光源的颜色。
所有上述量通过本领域技术人员熟悉的方法由光源的发射光谱计算。
在本申请的上下文中,绿色发射或绿光表示其最大强度在508-550nm的波长范围下的光;相应地,黄色表示其最大在551-585nm的波长下的光,红色表示其最大在610-670nm波长下的光。
此外,本发明涉及制备式I化合物的方法。
为此,在步骤a)中,将至少3种选自如下的原料混合:含钙、含锶、含钡、含镁、含锌、含硅和/或含铕材料,在步骤b)中,任选将一种无机或有机物质加入混合物中,然后在步骤c)中,使混合物优选在还原条件下经受热后处理。
上述热处理优选至少部分地在还原条件下进行。在步骤b)中,反应通常在800℃以上的温度下,优选在1000℃以上,特别优选在1100-1300℃的温度下进行。此处还原条件例如使用一氧化碳、合成气体或氢气或至少真空或贫氧气氛,优选在氮气流中,优选在N2/H2的料流中,特别优选在N2/H2(95-80:5-20)的料流中建立。
所用无机或有机物质(工艺步骤b)选自卤化铵,优选氯化铵,碱土金属氟化物如氟化钙、氟化锶或氟化钡,助熔剂如硼酸盐、硼酸或醇化物,草酸盐和/或硅酸酯如原硅酸四乙酯(TEOS)。
在另一实施方案中,无机发光材料还可包含至少一种选自如下的其它无机发光材料:
氧化物、钼酸盐、钨酸盐、钒酸盐、石榴石、硅酸盐、铝酸盐、氮化物和氮氧化物,其每种情况下单独地或为其与一种或多种活化剂离子如Ce、Eu、Mn、Cr和/或Bi的混合物。如果要建立某些色空间,则这特别有利。
式I发光材料的吸收和发射光谱、热熄灭行为和衰减时间τ1/e高度取决于二价阳离子的精确组成。上述光谱性能的关键因素是Eu2+的5d波段的晶体场分裂和Eu-O或Eu-N-C键的共价特征。
本发明无机发光材料的粒度通常为50nm-30μm,优选1-20μm。
在另一优选实施方案中,颗粒形式的无机发光材料具有由SiO2、TiO2、Al2O3、ZnO、ZrO2和/或Y2O3或其混合氧化物组成的连续表面涂层。该表面涂层的优点是通过涂料的折射率的合适分级,反射率可与环境匹配。在这种情况下,无机发光材料表面上的光散射降低,且更大比例的光可透入无机发光材料中并被吸收并在其中转化。另外,由于全内反射降低,折射率匹配的表面涂层能使更多的光从无机发光材料中耦合出。
另外,如果无机发光材料必须被包封,则连续层是有利的。这可能是必须的以抗衡无机发光材料或其部分对有关环境中水或其它材料扩散的敏感性。用密闭壳包封的另一原因是实际无机发光材料由芯片中产生的热的热去耦。该热导致无机发光材料的荧光收率降低,并还可影响荧光的颜色。最后,这类涂层能通过防止无机发光材料中产生的晶格振动传播至环境中而使无机发光材料的效率提高。
另外,优选无机发光材料具有由SiO2、TiO2、Al2O3、ZnO、ZrO2和/或Y2O3或其混合氧化物或由无机发光材料组合物组成的多孔表面涂层。这些多孔涂层提供进一步降低单层的折射率的能力。这类多孔涂层可通过如WO03/027015所述三种常规方法产生,通过引用将其全部范围并入本申请上下文中:玻璃的蚀刻(例如钠钙玻璃(参见US4019884))、多孔层的应用,和多孔层与蚀刻操作的组合。
在另一优选实施方案中,无机发光材料颗粒具有带有促进与环境化学键合的官能团的表面,优选由环氧或聚硅氧烷树脂组成。这些官能团可例如为酯或其它衍生物,其借助桥氧基连接并能形成在基于环氧化物和/或聚硅氧烷的粘合剂的组分上的连接键。这类表面的优点是促进无机发光材料均匀地并入粘合剂中。此外,由此可将无机发光材料/粘合剂体系的流变性能以及贮存期调整至某一程度。因此简化混合物的加工。
由于应用于LED芯片上的本发明无机发光材料层优选由通过本体浇铸应用的聚硅氧烷与均相无机发光材料颗粒的混合物组成,且聚硅氧烷具有表面张力,该无机发光材料层在微观水平下是不均匀的或层的厚度不是始终恒定的。这通常还是无机发光材料不通过本体浇铸方法,而是以所谓的芯片级转化方法应用的情况,其中将非常浓的薄无机发光材料层借助静电方法直接应用于芯片表面上。
借助上述方法,可产生任何所需外形的无机发光材料颗粒,例如球形颗粒、薄片和结构材料和陶瓷。
作为另一优选实施方案,薄片形无机发光材料的制备通过常规方法由相应的金属盐和/或稀土盐进行。制备方法详细描述于EP763573和DE102006054331中,通过引用将其全部范围并入本申请上下文中。这些薄片形无机发光材料可通过将包含例如云母、SiO2、Al2O3、ZrO2、玻璃或TiO2薄片、具有非常大纵横比、原子光滑表面和可调整厚度的天然或合成制备的非常稳定的载体或基质通过在水分散体或悬浮液中的沉淀反应用无机发光材料层涂覆而制备。除云母、ZrO2、SiO2、Al2O3、玻璃或TiO2或其混合物外,薄片还可由无机发光材料本身组成或由一种材料构成。如果薄片本身仅用作无机发光材料涂层的载体,则后者必须由对LED的初级辐射而言透明,或吸收初级辐射并将该能转移至无机发光材料层的材料组成。将薄片形无机发光材料分散于树脂(例如聚硅氧烷或环氧树脂)中,并将该分散体应用于LED芯片上。
薄片形无机发光材料可在大工业规模上以50nm至约20μm,优选150nm至5μm的厚度制备。此处直径为50nm-20μm。
它通常具有1:1-400:1,特别是3:1-100:1的纵横比(直径与颗粒厚度之比)。
薄片尺寸(长度×宽度)取决于排列。薄片还适用作转换层中的扩散中心,如果它们具有特别小尺寸的话特别如此。
本发明薄片形无机发光材料的面对LED芯片的表面可具有涂层,所述涂层具有相对于LED芯片发射的初级辐射的抗反射作用。这导致初级辐射的后向散射降低,能使后者更好的耦合到本发明无机发光材料体中。
为此合适的是例如具有匹配折射率的涂层,其必须具有如下厚度d:d=[LED芯片的初级辐射的波长/(4*无机发光材料陶瓷的折射率)],例如参见Gerthsen,Physik[Physics],Springer Verlag,第18版,1995。该涂层还可由光子晶体组成,其还包括构成薄片形无机发光材料表面以实现某些功能。
陶瓷体形式的本发明无机发光材料的生产类似于DE102006037730(Merck)所述方法进行,通过引用将其全部内容并入本申请上下文中。在该方法中,无机发光材料通过湿化学方法通过将相应的原料与掺杂剂混合而制备,随后经受等静压压制并以均匀薄且无孔薄片的形式直接应用于芯片表面上。因此,不存在无机发光材料的激发和发射的位置相关变化,这意味着具有它的LED发射恒定颜色的均匀光锥且具有高光输出。陶瓷无机发光材料体可在大工业规模上例如作为厚度为数百nm至约500μm的薄片产生。薄片尺寸(长度×宽度)取决于排列。在直接应用于芯片上的情况下,薄片的尺寸应根据芯片尺寸(约100μm*100μm至数mm2)以具有合适芯片排列(例如倒装芯片排列)芯片表面的约10-30%特定过大或相应地选择。如果无机发光材料薄片安装在最终LED上,则所有存在的光锥通过薄片。
可将陶瓷无机发光材料体的侧面用轻金属或贵金属,优选铝或银涂覆。金属涂层的作用是光不会在侧面离开无机发光材料体。侧面离开的光可降低待从LED中耦合出的光通量。陶瓷无机发光材料体的金属涂覆在等静压压制以后的工艺步骤中进行以得到条或薄片,其中可在金属涂覆以前任选将条或薄片切成必要尺寸。为此,将侧面例如用包含硝酸银和葡萄糖的溶液润湿,随后在升高的温度下暴露于氨气氛下。在该方法中例如在侧面上形成银涂层。
或者,无电流金属化方法也是合适的,例如参见Hollemann-Wiberg,Lehrbuch der Anorganischen Chemie[Textbook of Inorganic Chemistry],Walter de Gruyter Verlag或Ullmannsder chemischenTechnologie[Ullmann's Encyclopaedia of Chemical Technology]。
如果需要的话,可将陶瓷无机发光材料体使用水-玻璃溶液固定在LED芯片的底板上。
在另一实施方案中,陶瓷无机发光材料体在与LED芯片相对侧上具有结构(例如金字塔形)表面。这能使尽可能多的光从无机发光材料体中耦合出。无机发光材料体上的结构表面通过使用具有结构压板的压缩模具进行等静压压制并因此将结构压入表面中而产生。如果目的是产生尽可能最薄的无机发光材料体或薄片,则结构表面是理想的。压制条件是本领域技术人员已知的(参见J.Kriegsmann,Technische keramische Werkstoffe[Industrial Ceramic Materials],第4章,Deutscher Wirtschaftsdienst,1998)。重要的是所用压制温度为待压制物质的熔点的2/3-5/6。
另外,本发明无机发光材料可经约410-530nm,优选430nm至约500nm的宽范围激发。这些无机发光材料因此不仅适于通过UV-或蓝色发射光源如LED或常规放电灯(例如基于Hg)激发,而且适于光源如使用451nm下的蓝色In3+的那些。
此外,本发明涉及一种光源,其特征在于后者包含半导体和至少一种式I无机发光材料。该照明装置优选为发射白色或发射具有特定色点(颜色需求原理)的光。
颜色需求概念意指使用一种或多种无机发光材料使用pcLED(=无机发光材料转换LED)产生具有特定色点的光。该概念例如用于产生特定团体设计,例如用于发光公司徽标、商标等。
在本发明光源的优选实施方案中,半导体为发光铟铝镓氮化物,特别是式IniGajAlkN的铟铝镓氮化物,其中0≤i,0≥j,0≤k,且i+j+k=1。
在本发明光源的另一优选实施方案中,光源为基于ZnO、TCO(透明导电氧化物)、ZnSe或SiC的发光装置或基于有机发光层的装置(OLED)。
在本发明光源的另一优选实施方案中,光源为显示出电致发光和/或光致发光的光源。此外,光源还可以为等离子体或放电源。
这类光源的可能形式是本领域技术人员已知的。这些可以为具有各种结构的发光LED芯片。
本发明无机发光材料可取决于应用分散于树脂(例如环氧或聚硅氧烷树脂)中,或在合适尺寸比的情况下,直接置于光源上或作为选择置于其远处(后一种配置还包括“远程无机发光材料技术”)。远程无机发光材料技术的优点是本领域技术人员已知的,并例如通过如下公开显示:JapaneseJourn.of Appl.Phys.第44卷,No.21(2005).L649-L651。
此外,本发明涉及一种照明装置,特别是用于显示器件的背光照明的照明装置,其特征在于它包含至少一种上述光源,和具有背光照明的相应显示器件,特别是液晶显示器件(LC显示器),其特征在于它们包含至少一种这类照明装置。
此外,优选照明装置,特别是用于一般照明的照明装置,其特征在于它具有>60,优选>70,更优选>80的CRI。然而,如果至少两种本发明,例如来自实施例1、2和/或3的碳二亚胺无机发光材料相互组合,则CRI>80仅可在LED中实现。
在另一实施方案中,优选照明装置的无机发光材料与半导体之间的光耦合通过光导配置实现。
这使得半导体可安装在中心位置并通过光导装置如光学纤维光学耦合到无机发光材料上。这样,可实现适应于照明愿望的灯,其仅由可排列形成遮光板的一种或多种无机发光材料,和耦合在半导体上的光波导管组成。这样,可将强光源置于有利于电气装置的位置处并且不用其它电缆,而是仅通过铺设的光波导管将耦合在光波导管上的包含无机发光材料的灯安装在任何所需位置上。
此外,本发明涉及本发明无机发光材料在部分或完全转换发光二极管的蓝色或近UV发射中的用途。
此外,优选本发明无机发光材料在将蓝色或近UV发射转换成可见白色辐射中的用途。此外,优选本发明无机发光材料在根据“颜色需求”概念将初级辐射转换成特定色点中的用途。
此外,本发明涉及本发明无机发光材料在电致发光材料,例如电致发光膜(称为照明膜或发光膜)中的用途,其中例如硫化锌或掺杂有Mn2+、Cu+或Ag+的硫化锌用作发射体,其在黄色-绿色区中发射。电致发光膜的应用领域例如为广告、液晶显示屏(LC显示器)和薄膜晶体管(TFT)显示器的背光照明、自照明车牌、底板图形(与耐挤压和毛条层压板组合)、在显示器和/或控制元件中,例如在汽车、火车、船和飞机中,或还有家用电器、园林设备、测量仪器或运动和休闲设备。
以下实施例意欲阐述本发明。然而,它们决不被认为是限定性的。可用于组合物中的所有化合物或组分是已知和市售的或可通过已知方法合成。实施例中的温度总是以℃表示。此外,不用说,在说明书以及实施例中,组合物中组分的加入量总是合计为总计100%。给出的百分数数据应总是视为在给定上下文中。然而,它们通常总是涉及所述部分量或总量的重量。

实施例
实施例1:绿色发光无机发光材料Ba1.74Sr0.18Si(CN2)1.92O2.08:Eu0.08 2+的的制备
将0.8g的NH4Cl加入6.16g的Ba(CN2)、0.46g的Sr(CN2)、1.2g的SiO2和0.28g的Eu2O3中并在研钵中彻底混合。将所得混合物转移至烘箱中,在那里将它在氮气/氢气气氛(90:10)下在1200℃下煅烧6小时。在冷却以后,将所得无机发光材料在臼研机中粉碎并通过20μ筛分选。
测定的CIE色值:x=0.294;y=0.631
实施例2:黄色发光无机发光材料Ba0.85Sr1.05Si(CN2)1.9O2.1:Eu0.1 2+的制备
将0.75g的NH4Cl加入3.0g的Ba(CN2)、2.68g的Sr(CN2)、1.2g的SiO2和0.35g的Eu2O3中并在研钵中彻底混合。将所得混合物转移至烘箱中,在那里将它在氮气/氢气气氛(90:10)下在1200℃下煅烧6小时。在冷却以后,将所得无机发光材料在臼研机中粉碎并通过20μ筛分选。
测定的CIE色值:x=0.499;y=0.537
实施例3:红色发光无机发光材料Sr1.0Ca0.8Si(CN2)1.8O2.2:Eu0.2 2+的制备
将0.6g的NH4Cl加入2.54g的Sr(CN2)、1.28g的Ca(CN2)1.2g的SiO2和0.70g的Eu2O3中并在研钵中彻底混合。将所得混合物转移至烘箱中,在那里将它在氮气/氢气气氛(90:10)下在1200℃下煅烧6小时。在冷却以后,将所得无机发光材料在臼研机中粉碎并通过20μ筛分选。
测定的CIE色值:x=0.621;y=0.378
实施例4:发光二极管的制备
将来自实施例1的无机发光材料与双组分聚硅氧烷(来自Dow Corning的OE6550)在滚动混合机中以这样的方式混合使得等量的无机发光材料分散于聚硅氧烷的两种组分中;聚硅氧烷中无机发光材料的总浓度为8重量%。
各自5ml的两种含无机发光材料的聚硅氧烷组分相互均匀地混合并转移至分配器中。将来自OSA optoelectronics,Berlin的含有100μm2GaN芯片的空LED包装借助分配器填充。然后将LED放入热室以将聚硅氧烷在150℃下固化1小时。
根据实施例1的LED的发射光谱显示于图1中。
CIE x和CIE y代表本领域技术人员熟悉的标准CIE比色图表(此处标准观察者1931)的坐标,通过其描述光源的颜色。
所有上述量通过本领域技术人员熟悉的方法由光源的发射光谱计算。
“CRI”代表所谓的“彩色再现指数”,这是本领域技术人员熟悉的无因次采光量,其对比人造光源与日光和/或细丝光源的颜色再现真实性(后两者具有100的CRI)。

Claims (12)
1.式I化合物:
EA2-ySi(CN2)4-xOx:Euy (I)
其中:
EA代表一种或多种选自Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba或Zn的元素,且
x代表0-3.9的值,且
y代表0.01-0.4的值。
2.根据权利要求1的化合物,其特征在于x代表0-3.0,优选0-2.5的值。
3.根据权利要求1或2的化合物,其特征在于y代表0.02-0.35,优选0.04-0.30的值。
4.制备根据权利要求1-3中一项或多项的化合物的方法,其包括如下工艺步骤:
a)将至少3种选自如下的原料混合:含钙、含锶、含钡、含镁、含锌、含硅和/或含铕材料,
b)任选加入至少一种其它无机或有机物质,
c)热后处理化合物。
5.根据权利要求4的方法,其特征在于所述无机或有机物质(工艺步骤b)选自卤化铵,优选氯化铵,碱土金属氟化物如氟化钙、氟化锶或氟化钡,硼酸盐,硼酸,碳酸盐如碳酸氢铵,醇化物,草酸盐和/或硅酸酯如原硅酸四乙酯(TEOS)。
6.光源,其特征在于它包含至少一种半导体和至少一种根据权利要求1-3中一项或多项的式I无机发光材料.
7.根据权利要求6的光源,其特征在于所述半导体为发光铟铝镓氮化物,特别是式IniGajAlkN的铟铝镓氮化物,其中0≤i,0≤j,0≤k,且i+j+k=1。
8.照明装置,特别是用于显示器件的背光照明的照明装置,其特征在于它包含至少一种根据权利要求6或7的光源。
9.根据权利要求8的照明装置,其特征在于无机发光材料与半导体之间的光耦合通过光导配置实现。
10.具有背光照明的显示器件,特别是液晶显示器件(LC显示器),其特征在于它包含至少一种根据权利要求8或9的照明装置。
11.至少一种根据权利要求1-3中一项或多项的化合物在部分或完全转换发光二极管的蓝色或近UV发射中作为转换无机发光材料的用途。
