Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于在摩擦焊接连接中连接至少两个板状件(8,9)的连接元件(1),该连接元件包括旋转的和施压的心轴(2,13),该心轴的长度与上部元件(7,8)的厚度相适应,使得心轴穿透上部元件(7,8),并且所述心轴具有多边形的非圆形轮廓,该非圆形轮廓具有圆形的边角区域(5a,5b)。非圆形轮廓具有螺线状结构并且具有螺段,该螺段的长度短于一个完整的螺线圈的长度。
Description
本发明涉及一种用于在摩擦焊接连接中连接至少两个板状件的连接元件。所述连接元件包括旋转的和施压的心轴,该心轴的长度与上部元件的厚度相适应,使得心轴穿透上部元件,并且心轴具有多边形非圆形轮廓,该多边形非圆形轮廓具有圆形的边角区域。
此种类型的连接元件显示在DE102009006775A1中的图5A和图5B中。正如在相关的说明书中描述的,非圆形轮廓产生自由空间,该自由空间用于移除碎屑和磨损颗粒。
另外,在英国专利说明书732203中已经公开了驱动到金属中的锚固弹丸。此弹丸具有驱动到金属中的心轴,并且显示相对较短的和稍微倾斜的筋部(ribs),这些筋部彼此毗邻地紧密地设置,从而保证此弹丸以特定的紧固方式锚固在金属中。
本发明是一种用于在摩擦焊接连接中连接至少两个板状件的连接元件。本发明的目的是在摩擦焊接过程中特别地产生用于移除材料的空间——为了这个目的同样需要施加力——藉此可以将该材料排出。根据本发明,通过如下方式实现:非圆形轮廓为螺线状结构,并且在非圆形轮廓中边角区域沿着心轴延伸,边角区域形成螺段(pitch),该螺段的长度短于一个完整的螺线圈的长度。
通过非圆形轮廓的螺线状结构,位于边角区域之间的凹部以如下的方式延伸:凹部的螺线状结构特别地引导所移除的材料从摩擦焊接部位离开。同时,在连接元件的旋转过程中凹部的螺线式的引导使得所移除的材料以吸出的方式从焊接部位离开。如此可以阻止由于熔化材料过多而发生聚集和/或阻塞,并且保证连接元件和下部板状件之间的连接以特定的可靠的方式实现。
非圆形轮廓的螺段可以构造为右手螺旋或者左手螺旋。这取决于在摩擦焊接过程中连接元件的旋转方向。优选地,螺段的方向选择为与摩擦焊接过程中的旋转方向一致。

图1是具有头部的包括卡圈和与卡圈相连接的心轴的用于实现摩擦焊接连接的连接元件的视图,所述心轴具有由线条表示的圆形边角区域;
图2是图1中的连接元件以及两个板状的上部元件和一个板状的下部元件的视图,其中连接元件已经通过熔化工艺穿透两个上部元件;
图3是同样的连接元件的视图,其中心轴已经完全穿透两个上部板状件,并且已经部分穿透下部板状件并完成了与下部板状件的摩擦焊接连接;

图5显示基本上与图1相同的视图,只是其中边角区域的螺段沿着相反的方向延伸。
图1示出了连接元件1,该连接元件1包括心轴2和与该心轴2相连接的卡圈3。在心轴2的远离卡圈3的侧面上,心轴2以截锥体4终止,这在摩擦焊接工艺中具有特定的对心效果。不过,也可以将心轴2设置为具有平面端面。沿着心轴2倾斜延伸画出的两条线5a和5b表示圆形的边角区域,边角区域之间限定出自由空间,下文将结合图4更加详细地对自由空间的效果和结构进行说明。边角区域5a和5b相对于连接元件1的纵向轴线倾斜地延伸,表示边角区域5a和5b的结构是在通过较少的偏置量而延伸的情形中所形成的螺线的形式。更准确地,沿着心轴2的长度的边角区域5a和5b的偏置量短于一个完整的螺线圈的长度。因此螺线圈5a和5b是螺段(pitch),螺线圈5a和5b每一个都短于一个完整的螺线圈所具有的长度。
图1示意性地示出了边角区域的偏置量,即,通过从边角区域5a和5b的端部延伸到距离6的点划线,直接显示实际的偏置量。
图2显示的是连接元件1以及两个上部板状件7、8和基板9。在此情况中,例如,板状件7和8可以是铝板,而基板9是钢板。在此视图中,通过施压和旋转,连接元件1的心轴2完全穿透两个板状件7和8,使得板状件的材料熔化。图2显示心轴2处于这样的位置:心轴2的截锥体4抵靠基板9并且通过在这一点的旋转和施压的影响使得锥体的材料熔化。根据对基板9所选择的材料,可以熔化到一定的程度,由此产生摩擦焊接连接。
图3显示图2中示出的工艺的最终状态,其中连接元件1以已知的方式完成了与基板9的摩擦焊接连接10。因此,现在三个板状件7、8、9彼此牢固地连接,即,从基板9沿着整个连接元件1直到连接元件1的卡圈3。也就是说,完成了这些部件的固态连接。应该注意到的是,根据连接部件的最终构造,还可以仅使用单个的板状件来代替所述的两个上部板状件7和8。
图4是沿着图1中的IV-IV线剖开的剖视图,并且示出了心轴2的形状。为了更清楚地显示非圆形轮廓的实施方式,在图4中画出了虚线的圆形线14。容纳在此圆形线14中的是沿着图1的IV-IV线剖开的剖视图,表示心轴2的外部形状。如图4中所示,心轴4具有5个圆形边角区域,其中的两个边角区域标记为5a和5b。在这些边角区域之间,当如图2中所示的心轴2穿透板状件7和8的材料时,图4中的非圆形实施方式具有由此产生的凹部15。这些凹部15可以用于将从板状件7和8以及从摩擦焊接部位10移除的材料排出。
图5是与图1的连接元件相似的连接元件11的示意图,该连接元件包括卡圈12和心轴13,心轴13具有示意性地示出的位于心轴13外表面上的边角区域14a和14b。正如在图5中清楚地显示的那样,边角区域14a和14b沿着与图1中的边角区域5a和5b的螺段相反的螺段延伸。基于在摩擦焊接工艺中的各个连接元件的旋转的方向来选择螺段的各自的方向,即在这样的方式中螺段的方向与各个心轴2或者13的旋转方向一致,正如在螺旋钻中的一样。这就是说,对于根据图1的连接元件,其旋转方向可以与右手螺旋相似,而当使用图5中所示的类型的连接元件时,用于摩擦焊接工艺的旋转方向可以是相反的形式,即与左手螺旋相似。

1.一种用于在摩擦焊接连接中连接至少两个板状件(8,9)的连接元件(1),该连接元件(1)包括旋转的和施压的心轴(2,13),该心轴(2,13)的长度与上部元件(7,8)的厚度相适应,使得所述心轴穿透所述上部元件(7,8),并且所述心轴(2,13)具有多边形的非圆形轮廓,该非圆形轮廓具有圆形的边角区域(5a,5b),其特征在于,所述非圆形轮廓具有螺线状结构,沿着所述心轴(2)延伸的所述边角区域形成螺段,该螺段的长度短于一个完整的螺线圈的长度。
