Abstract

本发明提供一种油剂组合物,其特征在于,其含有润滑油基础油和亲水亲油指数为8~14的羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物,该油剂组合物用于极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工。此外,本发明提供一种极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,其具备将上述本发明的油剂组合物与压缩流体一起以雾状向被加工物的加工部位供给的工序。

Description

油剂组合物及极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法
技术领域
本发明涉及油剂组合物和使用该油剂组合物的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法。
背景技术
作为切削/研削加工方法的一种,有每小时将几mL~几十mL的极微量的油剂与压缩空气一起供给来进行金属的加工的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法(以下也称为MQL)。与现有的金属加工方法相比,MQL的油剂使用量少,因此由于具有废弃物量减少等优点而作为环境友好型加工方法,其使用范围在扩大。
在MQL的情况下,尽管仅向加工部位供给微量的油剂,但油剂的影响较大。例如,将现有的加工方法中一直使用的水溶性切削油直接在MQL中使用时,油剂形成微细的雾而被喷射,因此含有胺类化合物等的众多现有的水溶性切削油存在对作业者的呼吸系统产生损害之虞。
另一方面,在MQL中也要求加工性与现有的加工方法为同等水平或更高。然而,MQL与现有方法在其润滑的作用机制上存在根本不同,因此即使将现有的加工方法中使用的油剂直接应用于MQL,也会存在加工性不足的倾向。因此,正开发并广泛使用以植物油、合成酯为基础的适合于MQL的油剂(例如参照专利文献1~4)。

发明内容
发明要解决的问题
然而,根据被加工材料的材质等的不同,很多情况下用MQL无法获得足够的加工性。其代表性材料为以铝为代表的有色金属和重视冷却性的钛、不锈钢、铬镍铁合金等难切削材料。例如,为了轻量化而在各种行业中使用铝,其中在汽车行业中的使用范围不断扩大。而且,利用对环境友好的MQL的加工不断增长,而目前的油剂有时无法获得足够的加工性。
本发明是鉴于这种实际情况而做出的,其目的在于提供兼具高的加工性和安全性的极微量油剂供给式切削·磨削加工用油剂组合物、以及使用该油剂组合物的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法。
用于解决问题的方案
为了解决上述问题,本发明提供一种油剂组合物,其特征在于,其含有润滑油基础油、和亲水亲油指数为8~15的羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物,该油剂组合物用于极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工。
此处,亲水亲油指数是指、表面活性剂分子的亲水基团部分相对于亲油基团部分的质量比,根据下式计算。
亲水亲油指数=(亲水基团部分的分子量÷表面活性剂全体的分子量)×100÷5
本发明中所述亲油基团部分是指烷基、环烷基等烃基等。此外,亲水基团部分是指从表面活性剂分子中排除了亲油基团部分的残基,例如在以下所示的表面活性剂的情况下,式中用虚线圈出的部分即为亲水基团部分。

在本发明的油剂组合物中,优选的是,润滑油基础油为合成酯和/或植物油,润滑油基础油的含量以组合物总量基准计为5质量%以上且95质量%以下。
此外,本发明的油剂组合物优选还含有碳数8~24的一元醇。
此外,本发明提供一种极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,其具备将上述本发明的油剂组合物与压缩流体一起以雾状向被加工物的加工部位供给的工序。
在上述工序中,优选的是,还向被加工物的加工部位供给该油剂组合物的0.01~100质量倍的水。
在本发明的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法中,对被加工物的材质没有特别限制。予以说明,现有的MQL在被加工物为有色金属时难以获得足够的加工性,而本发明的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法在被加工物为有色金属时也能够获得足够的加工性。此外,本发明的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法在被加工构件为钛、不锈钢或铬镍铁合金时也是适宜的。
发明的效果
本发明的油剂组合物和极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法具有如下效果:在进行极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工时,可在维持被加工物的冷却性的同时获得熔敷发生少的良好的加工性而不会对环境和人体产生不良影响。
具体实施方式
以下对本发明的优选实施方式进行说明。
作为本发明的油剂组合物中含有的润滑油基础油,可使用矿物油、合成油、合成酯或植物油。
作为矿物油,具体而言,可列举出:对将原油常压蒸馏和减压蒸馏而得到的润滑油馏分适当组合应用各种纯化手段,从而得到的链烷烃类或环烷烃类的矿物油。
此外,作为合成油,例如可使用聚-α-烯烃(聚丁烯、1-辛烯低聚物、1-癸烯低聚物等)、烷基苯、烷基萘、酯、聚氧亚烷基二醇、聚苯基醚等。
作为合成酯,例如可例示出芳香族酯、二元酸酯、多元醇酯、复合酯、碳酸酯和它们的混合物等。
作为芳香族酯,可使用1~6元的芳香族羧酸与碳数1~18的脂肪族醇的酯等。作为1~6元的芳香族羧酸,具体而言,例如可列举出苯甲酸、邻苯二甲酸、间苯二甲酸、对苯二甲酸、偏苯三酸、均苯四酸和它们的混合物等。此外,作为碳数1~18的脂肪族醇,可以是直链状的醇也可以是支链状的醇。
作为二元酸酯,优选使用戊二酸、己二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸等碳数5~10的二元酸与具有直链或支链烷基的碳数1~15的一元醇的酯和它们的混合物。具体而言,例如可列举出戊二酸二(十三烷基酯)、己二酸二(2-乙基己酯)、己二酸二异癸酯、己二酸二(十三烷基酯)、癸二酸二(2-乙基己酯和它们的混合物等。
作为多元醇酯,优选使用具有碳数2~12的亚烷基的二元醇或者具有3~20个羟基的多元醇与碳数1~24的脂肪酸的酯。
作为多元醇,具体而言,例如可列举出三羟甲基乙烷、三羟甲基丙烷、三羟甲基丁烷、二(三羟甲基丙烷)、三(三羟甲基丙烷)、季戊四醇、二(季戊四醇)、三(季戊四醇)、甘油、聚甘油(甘油的2~20聚体)、1,3,5-戊三醇、山梨醇、脱水山梨醇、山梨醇甘油缩合物、阿东醇、阿糖醇、木糖醇、甘露糖醇等多元醇,木糖、阿拉伯糖、核糖、鼠李糖、葡萄糖、果糖、半乳糖、甘露糖、山梨糖、纤维素二糖、麦芽糖、异麦芽糖、海藻糖、蔗糖、棉子糖、龙胆三糖、松三糖等糖类,以及它们的部分醚化物、和甲基葡糖苷(糖苷)等。
在这些当中,作为多元醇,由于水解稳定性较优异而优选新戊二醇、三羟甲基乙烷、三羟甲基丙烷、三羟甲基丁烷、二(三羟甲基丙烷)、三(三羟甲基丙烷)、季戊四醇、二(季戊四醇)等受阻醇。
作为脂肪酸,一般可使用碳数1~24的酸。在碳数1~24的脂肪酸当中,从润滑性方面来看优选碳数3以上的酸,更优选碳数4以上的酸,进一步优选碳数5以上的酸。
此外,可以是直链状脂肪酸、支链状脂肪酸中的任一种,从润滑性方面来看优选直链状脂肪酸,从加水分解稳定性方面来看优选支链状脂肪酸。进而,可以是饱和脂肪酸、不饱和脂肪酸中的任一种。
作为优选的多元醇酯的具体例子,可列举出:新戊二醇与选自戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、油酸、异戊酸、2-甲基己酸、2-乙基戊酸、2-乙基己酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸中的一种或两种以上的脂肪酸的二酯;三羟甲基乙烷与选自戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、油酸、异戊酸、2-甲基己酸、2-乙基戊酸、2-乙基己酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸中的一种或两种以上的脂肪酸的三酯;三羟甲基丙烷与选自戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、油酸、异戊酸、2-甲基己酸、2-乙基戊酸、2-乙基己酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸中的一种或两种以上的脂肪酸的三酯;三羟甲基丁烷与选自戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、油酸、异戊酸、2-甲基己酸、2-乙基戊酸、2-乙基己酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸中的一种或两种以上的脂肪酸的三酯;季戊四醇与选自戊酸、异戊酸、己酸、庚酸、辛酸、壬酸、癸酸、2-甲基己酸、2-乙基戊酸、2-乙基己酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸、油酸中的一种或两种以上的脂肪酸的四酯。
予以说明,与两种以上的脂肪酸的酯可以是将一种脂肪酸与多元醇的两种以上的酯混合而得到的物质,也可以是两种以上的混合脂肪酸与多元醇的酯。
予以说明,作为多元醇酯,可以是多元醇的羟基未全部酯化而有残留的偏酯,也可以是羟基全部酯化而得到的全酯,还可以是偏酯与全酯的混合物,优选为全酯。
此外,复合酯是指脂肪酸和二元酸与一元醇和多元醇的酯,作为脂肪酸、二元酸、一元醇、多元醇,可使用与二元酸酯和多元醇酯相关的说明中所例示的同样的物质。
此外,碳酸酯是指分子内具有碳酸酯结构的化合物。另外,碳酸酯结构在一分子内可以是1个也可以具有多个。
作为构成碳酸酯的醇,可使用前述脂肪族醇、多元醇等,此外,也可使用聚乙二醇、对多元醇加成聚乙二醇而得到的醇。此外,还可以使用采用碳酸与脂肪酸和/或二元酸而得到的酯。
此外,理所当然的,作为本发明中所述的酯,可以是由单一结构的一种酯形成的,也可以是结构不同的两种以上的酯的混合物。
在这些合成酯当中,由于生物降解性和稳定性优异而特别优选多元醇酯。
作为植物油,没有特别限定,例如可优选地列举出棕榈油、棕榈仁油、菜籽油、大豆油、高油菜籽油和高油酸葵花籽油等植物油。
本发明的油剂组合物在以合成酯和/或植物油为基础油时,从粘性方面来看,优选使用碘值落入0~50、溴值在0~50gBr2/100g的范围的合成酯、植物油。此处,酯的碘值是指根据JIS K 0070“化学制品的酸值、皂化值、酯值、碘值、羟基值和不皂化物的测量方法”的指示剂滴定法进行测定而得到的值。此外,酯的溴值是指根据JIS K 2605“石油制品-溴值试验方法-电测法”进行测定而得到的值。
为了赋予粘性低的油剂组合物以更好的润滑性能,优选酯的羟基值为0.01~300mgKOH/g。该羟基值更优选为200mgKOH/g以下,特别优选为150mgKOH/g以下,此外,更优选为0.1mgKOH/g以上,进一步优选为0.5mgKOH/g以上,更进一步优选为1mgKOH/g以上,特别优选为3mgKOH/g以上,最优选为5mgKOH/g以上。此处,酯的羟基值是指根据JIS K 0070“化学制品的酸值、皂化值、酯值、碘值、羟基值和不皂化物的测量方法”的指示剂滴定法进行测定而得到的值。
此外,为了赋予粘性低的油剂组合物以更好的润滑性能,优选酯的皂化值为100~500mgKOH/g。该皂化值更优选为400mgKOH/g以下,此外,更优选为200mgKOH/g以上。此处,酯的皂化值是指根据JIS K 2503“航空润滑油试验方法”的指示剂滴定法进行测定而得到的值。
对本发明的油剂组合物中含有的润滑油基础油的运动粘度没有特别限制,从向加工部位的供给容易性方面来看,40℃下的运动粘度优选为200mm2/s以下,更优选为100mm2/s以下,进一步优选为75mm2/s,最优选为50mm2/s以下。此外,润滑油基础油在40℃下的运动粘度从加工性方面来看,优选为1mm2/s以上,更优选为3mm2/s以上,最优选为5mm2/s以上。
此外,对本发明的油剂组合物中含有的润滑油基础油的倾点和粘度指数没有特别限制,倾点优选为-20℃以下,进一步优选为-45℃以下。粘度指数优选为100以上且200以下。
本发明的油剂组合物中含有的润滑油基础油的含量可适当选择。使用合成酯和/或植物油作为润滑油基础油时,其含量以组合物总量为基准,从加工性、生物降解性的观点来看,为5质量%以上,优选为10质量%以上,更优选为15质量%以上,进一步优选为20质量%以上。此外,从油剂的稳定性的观点来看为95质量%以下,优选为70质量%以下。
此外,本申请发明的油剂组合物含有亲水亲油指数为8~15的羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物。亲水亲油指数小于8或超过15时,加工性不足。基于同样的理由,羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物的亲水亲油指数优选为9~13。
作为构成羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物的羟基酸,优选脂肪族单羟基酸,具体而言,可列举出刺柏酸(Juniperic acid)、蓖麻油酸、12-羟基十八碳-顺-9,15-二烯酸(Densipolic acid)、α-氧亚麻酸、雷斯克勒酸(Lesquerella acid),或含有在蓖麻油、菜籽油、妥尔油等中的单羟基酸。
此外,作为环氧烷烃中的亚烷基,具体而言,可列举出亚乙基(-CH2CH2-)、亚丙基(-CH(CH3)CH2-)、三亚甲基(-CH2CH2CH2-)、亚丁基(-CH(CH2CH3)CH2-)、四亚甲基(-CH2CH2CH2CH2-)等。在这些亚烷基当中,更优选亚乙基、亚丙基。
作为羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物,优选下述通式(1)所示的化合物。

式中,R1表示具有碳数7~23、优选为9~21、更优选为11~19的烃基,可以是直链也可以是支链,可以是饱和的也可以是不饱和的。此外,可以是脂肪族羟基酸也可以是芳香族羟基酸,优选不饱和且不含有支链的脂肪族单羟基酸。R2表示碳数2~4的亚烷基,n表示R2O所示的氧亚烷基的重复数,优选为1~20、更优选为2~15、进一步优选为2~12的整数。此外,(R2O)n为共聚链段时,可以是无规共聚链段也可以是嵌段共聚链段,优选为无规聚合链段。
对本发明的油剂组合物中的羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物的含量没有特别限定,以组合物总量基准计,优选为5~80质量%,更优选为10~70质量%,进一步优选为20~60质量%。
本发明的油剂组合物可以仅由上述的润滑油基础油和羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物形成,优选还含有具有碳数8~24的一元醇。予以说明,醇的碳数超过24时,油剂的稳定性倾向于变差。此外,醇的碳数小于8时,臭气成为问题。
作为碳数8~24的一元醇,具体而言,例如可列举出辛醇、壬醇、癸醇、十一醇、十二醇、十三醇、十四醇、十五醇、十六醇、十七醇、十八醇、十九醇、二十醇、二十一醇、二十三醇、二十四醇等一元烷基醇;辛烯醇、壬醇、癸烯醇、十一烯醇、十二烯醇、十三烯醇、十四烯醇、十五烯醇、十六烯醇、十七烯醇、十八烯醇、十九烯醇、二十烯醇、二十一烯醇、二十三烯醇、二十四烯醇等一元链烯醇;以及它们的两种以上的混合物。它们的任一种可以是直链状或支链状的,可以是饱和的也可以是不饱和的。理想的是,优选为碳数9~24、更优选为碳数10~22、特别优选为碳数12~20的一元烷基醇和/或链烯醇。
对碳数8~24的一元醇的配混量没有特别限定,以组合物总量基准计,优选为1~60质量%,更优选为3~50质量%,进一步优选为5~40质量%。
此外,本发明的油剂组合物可还含有作为切削/研削油的现有公知的添加剂。作为所述添加剂,例如可列举出烷基酚环氧乙烷加成物、高级醇环氧乙烷加成物、聚氧亚乙基脂肪酸酯、聚丙二醇环氧乙烷加成物、山梨醇和脱水山梨醇的脂肪酸酯、二乙二醇单烷基醚等表面活性剂;2,6-二叔丁基对甲酚、4,4’-亚甲基双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、4,4’-双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、4,4’-硫代双(6-叔丁基邻甲酚)等抗氧化剂;脂肪酸、醇、脂肪酸酯等油性剂;羧酸,羧酸盐,磺酸钙等磺酸盐,磷酸,磷酸盐等防腐蚀剂;甲基硅氧烷、氟硅氧烷、聚丙烯酸酯等消泡剂;硫化油脂、硫化酯、聚硫化物等硫系,磷酸酯等磷系极压添加剂等。在这些添加剂当中,使用脂肪酸、醇、脂肪酸酯等油性剂时,可进一步提高本发明的油剂组合物的加工性,故优选。尤其是,对钛、不锈钢、铬镍铁合金等难切削材料进行加工时,优选联用硫系、磷系极压剂。
对使用上述添加剂时的含量没有特别限制,上述添加剂的合计含量以组合物总量基准计优选为0.1~10质量%。
对本发明的油剂组合物的运动粘度没有特别限制,从向加工部位供给的容易性方面来看,40℃下的运动粘度优选为80mm2/s以下,进一步优选为70mm2/s以下,进一步优选为60mm2/s以下,最优选为55mm2/s以下。另一方面,本发明的油剂组合物在40℃下的运动粘度从加工性方面来看优选为5mm2/s以上,进一步优选为10mm2/s以上,最优选为15mm2/s以上。
本发明的油剂组合物可适宜地作为极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法(MQL)中的油剂使用。即,本发明的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法具备将油剂组合物与压缩流体一起以雾状向被加工物的加工部位供给的工序。
在MQL中,每小时将几mL~几十mL(优选为1~90mL/h)的油剂与压缩流体一起以雾状向被加工物的加工部位(切削/研削加工部位)供给。作为压缩流体,除了压缩空气之外,还可单独使用氮气、氩气、氦气、二氧化碳等压缩流体,或将这些流体混合使用。
此外,在将本发明的油剂组合物应用于MQL时,优选向被加工物的加工部位供给该油剂组合物的0.01~100质量倍的水。水的使用量更优选为油剂组合物的0.01~100质量倍,进一步优选为2~100质量倍,更进一步优选为3~50质量倍,特别优选为4~40质量倍,最优选为5~30质量倍。
对水的供给方式没有特别限定,例如可列举出:(i)用压缩流体将油剂组合物和水的混合物雾化来供给的方法;(ii)将油剂组合物和水分别雾化来分别供给的方法;(iii)将油剂组合物和水分别雾化的产物混合之后供给的方法等。
不会因本发明的油剂组合物和极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法而对被加工的被加工物的材质有特别限定,适宜为有色金属,特别适宜为铝和铝合金以及难切削材料,特别是钛、不锈钢、铬镍铁合金。
实施例
以下,基于实施例和比较例来进一步具体说明本发明,但本发明不受以下实施例的任何限定。
[实施例1~9和比较例1~6]
使用以下所示的润滑油基础油和添加剂,制备具有表1~3所示组成的油剂组合物。
(A)基础油
A1:三羟甲基丙烷和辛醇、癸醇的全酯
A2:新戊二醇和辛醇的全酯
A3:季戊四醇和癸醇的全酯
A4:高油酸菜籽油
A5:聚-α烯烃(40℃下的运动粘度调整为20mm2/s)

接着,使用实施例1~14和比较例1~8的油剂组合物,实施以下所示的试验。
<40℃下的运动粘度的测定>
依据JIS K 2283,测定油剂组合物在40℃下的运动粘度。所得结果示于表1~3。
<加工性试验;攻丝试验>
以己二酸二异癸酯为比较标准油来评价加工性能。具体而言,交替使用试样油(各油剂组合物)和己二酸二异癸酯,在以下所示的条件下进行敲击试验。
在向加工部位供给油剂时,以8.5mL/min的条件喷于直接加工部位。
被削材料1:JIS H 5202规定的铝合金(AC8A)
被削材料2:JIS G 4305规定的不锈钢板(SUS304)
工具直径:8mm
丝锥螺距(tap pitch):1.25mm
丝锥前角:1.5度
丝锥切入角:10度
丝锥螺纹底孔直径:7.4mm
转速:360rpm
标准油:DIDA(己二酸二异癸酯)
表1~3中,“油剂供给方法”一栏的A~D表示按以下的A~D的方法向加工部位供给油剂组合物。
A:将油剂直接雾化来供给
B:供给用自来水稀释至20倍的油剂
C:将雾化的油剂与同样雾化的自来水按1(油剂):10(水)的比例混合来向加工部位供给。
D:供给用自来水稀释至120倍的油剂
测定上述试验中的攻丝能量,使用下式算出攻丝能量效率(TEE,%)。
攻丝能量效率(%)=(使用比较标准油时的攻丝能量)/(使用金属加工油组成物时的攻丝能量)
所得结果示于表1~3。攻丝能量效率的值越高,表示润滑性越高。
<油剂的稳定性试验>
对于油剂组合物的稳定性,用自来水将油剂稀释至10倍,在室温下静置来调查油剂的分离行为。将24小时后油剂未分离的评价为A,将即使只有些许分离油上浮的评价为B。所得结果示于表1~3。

Claims (7)

1.一种油剂组合物,其特征在于,其含有:
润滑油基础油、和
亲水亲油指数为8~15的羟基酸的环氧烷烃加成物,
该油剂组合物用于极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工。
2.根据权利要求1所述的油剂组合物,其特征在于,所述润滑油基础油为合成酯和/或植物油,所述润滑油基础油的含量以组合物总量基准计为5质量%以上且95质量%以下。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的油剂组合物,其特征在于,其还含有碳数8~24的一元醇。
4.一种极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,其具备将权利要求1~3的任一项中的油剂组合物与压缩流体一起以雾状向被加工物的加工部位供给的工序。
5.根据权利要求4所述的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,在所述工序中,还向被加工物的加工部位供给该油剂组合物的0.01~100质量倍的水。
6.根据权利要求4或5所述的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,所述被加工物为有色金属。
7.根据权利要求4或5所述的极微量油剂供给式切削/磨削加工方法,其特征在于,所述被加工构件为钛、不锈钢或铬镍铁合金。
