Abstract

本发明涉及双发动机混合动力车辆驱动系统。
背景技术
目前发动机排放法规对发动机的对载荷需求的突然变化的快速反应的能力设置了重大挑战。为了避免大颗粒物排放,发动机在瞬态载荷情况期间必须将操作模式改变到显著地较高水平的油耗,以符合排放要求。这限制发动机可以响应载荷瞬态的速率,这将转变成对于操作者来说较低的性能。期望具有符合排放法规并且允许发动机对载荷变化迅速地响应的车辆驱动系统。
发明内容
根据本发明的一个方面,双发动机混合动力车辆驱动系统提供转矩到轮轴。该驱动系统包括第一发动机和传动装置,该传动装置连接第一发动机到轮轴。驱动系统还包括第二发动机、由第二发动机驱动的飞轮、由飞轮驱动的发电机、连接在发电机和马达控制器之间的发电机控制器、和连接到马达控制器的电动马达。变速箱连接在电动马达和轮轴之间。车辆驱动系统还可以包括由第一发动机驱动的另一个飞轮,传动装置由第二飞轮驱动。

具体实施方式
参照图1,车辆驱动系统10将转矩供给到车辆的轮轴12(未显示)。驱动系统10包括驱动第一飞轮16的内燃机14。第一飞轮16驱动传动装置18。传动装置18驱动地连接到轮轴12。
驱动系统10还包括驱动第二飞轮22的第二内燃机20。第二飞轮22驱动发电机24。发电机24连接到发电机控制器26。发电机控制器26连接在电动发电机24和马达控制器28之间。电动马达30被连接到马达控制器28,由马达控制器28供电和控制。变速箱32连接电动马达30至轮轴12。发电机24、发电机控制器26、马达控制器28和电动马达30形成电传动装置34。
采用驱动系统10,电动马达30和发电机24可以提取存储在由第二发动机20驱动的旋转飞轮22中动能,以提供短期转矩提升。这可以被进行以1)允许在传动装置18处于移位模式时较平滑的转矩输出到轮轴12,或2)允许第二发动机20以较慢速度经受动力/转矩瞬变并且仍然支持在轴12上的载荷转矩的急剧增加。
此外,电动马达30和发电机24可以恢复来自轮轴的车辆动能,并且将车辆动能存储在第二飞轮22中,例如在车辆减速或制动期间。结果,采用这种驱动系统10,发动机可以以更高的燃油效率操作。操作人员乘坐舒适性得到改善,因为连接到第二发动机20的电传动装置允许第二发动机20的速度与轮轴12的速度分离。这使得能量能够由机械飞轮22存储,而不是存储在更传统的(并且较低效率)电池中。
飞轮是机械储能装置。替换地,每个飞轮或者两个飞轮可以由其他储能设备代替,如电池或电容器。飞轮可以是标准飞轮的一部分(即,起动器环连接的位置)或其可以单独的、更重或更高速度的飞轮。

Claims (2)
1.一种用于提供转矩到轮轴(12)的车辆混合动力驱动系统(10),所述驱动系统包括:
第一发动机(14);
传动装置(18),该传动装置将第一发动机(14)连接到轮轴(12);
第二发动机(20);
由第二发动机(20)驱动的飞轮(22);
由飞轮(22)驱动的发电机(24);
发电机控制器(26),该发电机控制器连接在发电机(24)和马达控制器(28)之间;
电动马达(30),该电动马达连接到马达控制器(28);和
变速箱(32),该变速箱将电动马达(30)连接到轮轴(12)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆驱动系统,还包括:
由第一发动机(14)驱动的另一个飞轮(16),所述传动装置(18)由第二飞轮(16)驱动。
