Abstract

本发明公开一种背光模组和液晶显示装置,所述背光模组包括侧框、背板,所述背板设有与侧框配合固定的侧壁,所述背板的侧壁上设有光源,所述侧壁的顶部与所述侧框之间留有间隙。本发明可以有效的隔断灯源侧温度往液晶面板传递的路径,有效防止液晶面板的液晶液化的风险,提升液晶面板的光学显示品味。

Description

一种背光模组和液晶显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示领域,更具体的说,涉及一种背光模组和液晶显示装置。
背景技术
传统模组结构剖面如图1所示:在LED灯源侧框架(Frame)直接设计成接触放置在背板(REAR)四周侧壁上,由于窄边框化机种越做越窄,面板(PANEL)的显示区(AA区)边界越来越靠近LED灯条(lightbar)灯源,LED灯条(lightbar)的高温对PANEL的影响就越加明显突出.如图1:LED灯条(lightbar)的热量通过背板(REAR)侧壁往上传导到框架(Frame),然后经过垫片(SPACER)传至面板(PANEL),导致面板(PANEL)的温度过高,严重影响到显示区(AA区)内的光学显示品味效果,温度过高,甚至会产生面板(PANEL)液晶液化的风险。
专利文献US2009/0168431A1于2009年7月2日公开了一种背光模组,该背光模组包括导光板、与导光板入光面相对的LED灯源,还包括多个跟LED灯源热连接的通气孔,通过热传导的方式先将LED灯源传导到通气孔中,再利用通气孔的空气对流将热量导出,这种散热方式分别经过热传导、空气对流,散热效率低,散热效果并不理想。
专利文献CN201354985Y于2009年12月2日公开了一种侧光式背光模组,该侧光式背光模组包括灯管组,由灯管,灯管反射罩和灯管套组成,灯管套包裹灯管低压端和高压端的电极部分,用于保护所述灯管。背框置于所述灯管组下方,支撑和固定所述灯管组;胶框,包覆所述灯管组;其中,所述胶框在位于灯管低压端灯管套处设置有开孔,所述开孔上设置有滤网。该技术方案改善了背光模组灯管低压端的散热,单灯管反射罩、灯管仍然组成一个密封空间,热量不易发散,且中框直接跟灯管反射罩接触,大量的热量仍然会传导到中框,进而传导到液晶面板上。
发明内容
本发明所要解决的技术问题是提供一种可阻隔热量从背光模组传递到液晶面板的背光模组和液晶显示装置。
本发明的目的是通过以下技术方案来实现的:
一种背光模组,包括侧框、背板,所述背板设有与侧框配合固定的侧壁,所述背板的侧壁上设有光源,所述侧壁的顶部与所述侧框之间留有间隙。
优选的,所述侧框在所述背板的侧壁顶部对应位置设有凹槽,所述侧壁的顶部与所述凹槽之间留有间隙。由于侧壁的顶部需要跟侧框保留一定间隙,如果不改变侧框的结构,则需要将背板往后挪动,以产生间隙,这样就增加了液晶显示装置的厚度,不符合液晶显示装置轻薄化的趋势。而在侧壁顶部对应位置设置凹槽后,通过避让设计,则可以在不增加液晶显示装置厚度的前提下,将所述间隙预留出来。
优选的,所述背光模组包括导光板,设置在导光板出光面的光学膜片,所述侧框设有延伸部,所述延伸部的底面设有用于抵住导光板边缘的凸台,所述凸台至延伸部的根部之间的底面在所述背板的侧壁顶部对应位置设有所述凹槽。此为一种具体的侧框的凹槽结构。
优选的,所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间设有隔热垫片。隔热垫片可以进一步阻隔热量从背板传导到侧框,进而传导到液晶面板。
优选的,所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间通过卡扣连接。此为一种具体的侧框和侧壁直接的固定方式,采用卡口连接,背板和侧框之间接触没有那么紧密,甚至可以留有一定间隙,这样可以进一步阻隔热量从背板传入侧框。
优选的,所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间通过螺钉或铆钉连接。此为另外两种具体的侧框和侧壁直接的固定方式。
优选的,所述灯条为LED灯条。LED能耗低,亮度均匀、使用寿命长,是光源的理想选择。
一种液晶显示装置,包括上述的一种背光模组。
优选的,所述液晶显示装置最外层还设有前框,所述液晶显示的液晶面板设置在所述前框和侧框之间,所述前框和液晶面板之间设有隔热材料制作的缓冲垫。选用隔热的缓冲垫可以进一步阻隔热量从侧框传导到液晶面板。
优选的,所述侧框和液晶面板之间设有隔热材料制作的缓冲垫。选用隔热的缓冲垫可以进一步阻隔热量从侧框传导到液晶面板。
发明人研究发现,对于光源安装在背板侧壁的液晶显示装置而言,侧壁的顶部与中框直接接触,其接触位置距离液晶面板最近,进一步研究发现,作用在液晶面板上的热量大部分是从侧壁的顶部传导过去的,因此本发明在侧壁的顶部与所述侧框之间留有间隙,由于空气的热阻大,几乎可有效的阻断从该方向直接向上方侧框部分传递热量,进而防止光源的热量从该方向传递到液晶,对液晶面板的温度造成较大的影响。因此本发明可以有效的隔断灯源侧温度往液晶面板传递的路径,有效防止液晶面板的液晶液化的风险,提升液晶面板的光学显示品味。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图和较佳的实施例对本发明作进一步说明。
如图2所示,一种液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板和背光模组,在结构上,液晶显示装置由外到内依次包括前框500、侧框100和背板300;前框500和侧框100之间设有液晶面板400,所述背板300上依次叠放有导光板、光学膜片700。液晶面板400位于前框500和侧框100之间,因此液晶面板400跟两者接触的地方都会设有缓冲垫,液晶面板400与前框500之间的缓冲垫为上缓冲垫610,液晶面板400与侧框100之间的缓冲垫为下缓冲垫620。所述背板300四周设有与侧框100配合固定的侧壁310,所述侧壁310上设有光源,所述侧壁310的顶部与所述侧框100之间留有间隙。所述光源优选LED灯条200,LED能耗低,亮度均匀、使用寿命长,是光源的理想选择,当然冷阴极管等光源也可以应用于本发明。
侧框设有延伸部110,所述延伸部110的底面设有用于抵住导光板边缘的凸台111,所述凸台111至延伸部110的根部之间的底面在所述背板的侧壁310顶部对应位置设有凹槽112,侧壁310的顶部与所述凹槽112之间留有间隙。这样就无须挪动背板以产生间隙,直接在侧框100上开设凹槽112,采用避让设计产生间隙,可以在不增加液晶显示装置厚度的前提下,将所述间隙预留出来。
如图3所示,虽然侧壁310顶部留有间隙可以阻断大部分热量往液晶面板400方向传递,但是由于背板的侧壁310与侧框100之间通过卡扣连接、螺钉连接、铆钉连接等方式中的一种或多种进行固定,不可避免的,背板的侧壁310跟中框之间仍然存在接触面,所以会有少部分热量通过背板的侧壁310横传导到侧框100,然后通过侧框100扩散,一部分传递到前框500,通过上缓冲垫610传递到液晶面板400;另外一部分会从侧框100中,通过下缓冲垫620传递至液晶面板400.造成液晶面板400温度的升高.
传统结构中,上缓冲垫610和下缓冲垫620主要是贴缓冲,防滑的材料,来保护液晶面板400不受伤害,并未考虑到热量的传递,本发明用一种绝热或吸收热量且具备缓冲和防滑作用的材质来代替传统中的上缓冲垫610和下缓冲垫620,达到阻滞部分传递至该处的残余热量往液晶面板400传递。
进一步的,还可以在侧壁310与所述侧框100之间设有隔热垫片,进一步阻隔热量从背板300传导到侧框100,进而传导到液晶面板400。

Claims (7)

1.一种液晶显示装置,包括一种背光模组,所述背光模组包括侧框、背板,所述背板设有与侧框配合固定的侧壁,所述背板的侧壁上设有光源,其特征在于,所述侧壁的顶部与所述侧框之间留有间隙;
所述液晶显示装置最外层还设有前框,所述液晶显示的液晶面板设置在所述前框和侧框之间,所述前框和液晶面板之间设有隔热材料制作的缓冲垫;所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间设有隔热垫片。
2.如权利要求1所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述侧框在所述背板的侧壁顶部对应位置设有凹槽,所述侧壁的顶部与所述凹槽之间留有间隙。
3.如权利要求2所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述背光模组包括导光板,设置在导光板出光面的光学膜片,所述侧框设有延伸部,所述延伸部的底面设有用于抵住导光板边缘的凸台,所述凸台至延伸部的根部之间的底面在所述背板的侧壁顶部对应位置设有所述凹槽。
4.如权利要求1所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间通过卡扣连接。
5.如权利要求1所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述背板的侧壁与所述侧框之间通过螺钉或铆钉连接。
6.如权利要求1所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述光源为LED灯条。
7.如权利要求1所述的一种液晶显示装置,其特征在于,所述侧框和液晶面板之间设有隔热材料制作的缓冲垫。
