授予Hoffman等人的第5,344,331号美国专利公开了一种用于传递电动车辆所用的电能的电连接器系统。该电连接器系统包括:公电连接器或者插头,具有沿着共同的弧(common arc)布置的第一组电接触件;母电连接器或者插座,具有沿着共同的弧布置的第二组电接触件。插座和插头均具有带孔的关闭件,以用于选择性地覆盖或者暴露各自的电接触件,以防止与电接触件的意外的接触,并防止电接触件受到环境的影响。在优选的实施例中,仅仅在插头完全插入到插座中之后,插头和插座的关闭件才旋转,以暴露所述接触件。
授予Kaneko的第6,351,098号美国专利公开了一种电磁感应式连接端子,该电磁感应式连接端子用于将供电站(power supply station)与电池连接,以对电池进行充电。所述连接端子具有充电桨(charging paddle)和充电插座。充电桨具有第一线圈,来自供电站的电流被供应给该第一线圈。充电插座具有连接到电池的第二线圈。当将来自供电站的电流供应给第一线圈时,在第二线圈里感应出电动势。充电插座具有容纳第二线圈的封装件。该封装件形成抵抗电磁波的罩。

一种机动车辆,该机动车辆能够从电网接收电能,该机动车辆包括:电池充电器和外部灯组件。该外部灯组件包括限定腔的壳体、光源和包括设置在腔内的至少一个电端子的电接口。所述至少一个电端子被构造成与电网电连接。所述至少一个电端子与电池充电器电连接。
虽然示出并公开了根据本发明的示例性实施例,但是该公开不应该被解释为限制本发明。在不脱离本发明的范围的情况下,可预料各种修改和可选的设计。

具体实施方式
用于车辆的外部电插头线路可能没有考虑到人机工程、环境、复杂性和/或成本而被布置或者设计。作为示例,原始的装备制造商提供的缸体加热器线路(block heater connection)的安装件通常包括一定长度的缠绕和结合在车辆前格栅处、附近或者之后的延伸电线(electric extension cord)。这些安装件可能由于它们的位置而不方便和/或难以处理。此外,与电线有关的任何端子可能会受到环境影响。
作为另一个示例,以可选的方式提供动力的车辆的电插头线路可设置在引擎室内或者车身面板的门后。由于其位置而可能会使接近引擎室内的电插头不方便。另外,因为一些车辆按照可选的方式提供动力的形式和传统的形式设置,所以设置用于车身面板的门可能需要不同组加工工具:一组用于传统的形式的没有门的车身面板;一组用于以可选的方式提供动力的形式的具有门的车身面板。不同组加工工具会增加与制造车辆相关的复杂性和成本。
公开于此的特定实施例提供一种与插电式车辆的灯组件集成的充电端口。灯组件可以是(例如)尾灯组件、头灯组件、转弯信号灯组件、侧标志灯组件和/或中央高位刹车灯组件。用于这些组件的照明源可包括(例如)灯泡、LED、LCD等(这里,所有这些被统称为灯)。充电端口提供用于车辆的电池的充电系统的电接入口。
这些布置中的一些可降低复杂性和成本,这是因为例如如果生产以可选的方式提供动力的形式和传统的形式的车辆,则不同组的车身面板加工工具不是必要的。当连接或者断开电源与充电端口的连接时,这些布置中的一些也可减小用户造成的弯曲和/或弯折。
现在参照图1和图2,车辆的尾灯组件10的实施例可包括壳体12、灯14、灯盖16和充电端口18。虽然充电端口18位于尾灯组件10的下部附近,但是,在其它实施例中,充电端口18可设置在任何合适的位置。充电端口18包括几个板片20。板片20被构造成被容纳在与形成在家用延伸电线上的电插座类似的电插座中,如以下所解释的,板片20可与用于储能单元的充电系统电连接。在其它的实施例中,充电端口18可以是电插座,或者是任何其它合适的电连接器等。
板片20可被设置在由壳体12的表面22形成的腔内(可选地,板片20可远离壳体12延伸)。该腔可防护板片20使其免受例如污物(deris)、水等损害。弹簧加载的(或者其它类型的)门24(示出为处于打开位置)可覆盖腔的开口,以进一步防止板片20受到环境影响。在其它实施例中,可使用合适的覆盖面板(例如,滑动面板)来覆盖腔的开口。
图1和图2的腔和板片20相对于水平方向大约成-20°布置(该示例总体上沿着向下方向定向)。该定向可减少可能积聚在腔内和板片20上的污物和湿气的量。例如,可施加重力来将颗粒物和水滴引出腔。当然,腔和板片20可具有其它的向上或者向下定向。
尾灯组件10还可包括界面26。在图1的实施例中,界面26包括部分28,该部分28被构造成使用例如LED、LCD等技术指示荷电状态以及充电开始和完成时间。控制/输入按钮30可允许用户例如使通过部分28呈现的各种信息滚动,或者选择期望的充电开始时间。指示灯(light/lamp)32可被点亮以指示荷电状态:荷电状态越高,指示灯32会被点亮更多。(灯14也可提供该特征)。另外,灯14中的至少一个可被点亮以指示车辆被插电和/或车辆的电池正在充电等。其它实施例可包括传递任何期望的信息(例如车辆/充电诊断信息、电池功能/诊断信息等)的任何合适的界面。
现在参照图3,图3的元件标号与图1和图2的元件标号相差100的元件可具有与图1和图2的所述标号标示的元件类似的描述。机动车辆108的实施例(电动车辆、混合动力电动车辆等)可包括灯组件110、电池充电器134、牵引用电池136和控制器138。如本领域所知,由牵引用电池136储存的电能可被转化为动力以使机动车辆108运动。
电池充电器134与充电端口118和牵引用电池136电连接。因此,来自电网的电可通过充电端口118和电池充电器134传递到牵引用电池136。电磁防护件可环绕一些/全部电线路,并可采用编制的薄片(braided foil)或者其它合适的电磁防护件的形式。该防护件可减小/消除本领域所知的不期望的电磁噪声。
控制器138可与灯114、界面126、电池充电器134和/或牵引用电池136通信和/或控制灯114、界面126、电池充电器134和/或牵引用电池136。
如上所述,灯114和/或界面116可被用于传输信息,例如关于机动车辆108是否被插电、牵引用电池136的荷电状态等的信息。在图3的实施例中,控制器138可按照公知的方式监视电池充电器134、牵引用电池136等,并基于该信息控制灯114和/或界面126。作为示例,控制器138可基于电池充电器134是否被激活而确定机动车辆108是否被插电。如果被激活,则控制器108可命令灯114打开。作为另一示例,控制器138可确定牵引用电池136的荷电状态并命令界面126以公知的方式显示这种信息等。其它想法也是可以的。

Claims (8)

1.一种机动车辆,该机动车辆能够从电网接收电能,该机动车辆包括:
电池充电器;
外部灯组件,包括光源、被构造成与电网和电池充电器电连接的充电端口和围住光源和充电端口的壳体。
2.如权利要求1所述的机动车辆,还包括至少一个控制器,所述至少一个控制器被构造成确定电池充电器是否在工作,并且,如果电池充电器在工作,则激活光源。
3.如权利要求1所述的机动车辆,其中,外部灯组件还包括被构造成显示与电池充电器或者机动车辆相关的信息的界面。
4.如权利要求1所述的机动车辆,其中,充电端口包括沿着总体上向下的方向定向的至少一个电端子。
5.如权利要求4所述的机动车辆,其中,外部灯组件还包括限定腔的壳体,其中,所述至少一个电端子设置在腔内。
