Abstract

Description

侧撞扶手收缩机构
技术领域
本发明涉及一种车辆的扶手,更具体地,涉及一种在侧撞过程中减弱扶手的移动或在侧撞事故中收缩扶手的侧撞扶手收缩机构。
背景技术
侧撞碰撞是会发生的,其中,相对较小的碰撞会使乘员受伤。通常,车厢区域的侧撞引起外部面板的变形,这往往转化成乘员区域面板,例如门饰板、A柱、B柱等的变形。这种变形会使门板上的内饰部件或其他内部部件接触到乘员。座椅安全带的限制不允许乘员从偏斜的内饰物移动到或被移到不碍事的地方,因此造成乘员的受伤。一种这样的内饰物是门板上的扶手。当车门因碰撞偏斜时,扶手将通常在髋部或肋骨高度与乘员接触,有时会造成严重的伤害。需要一种机构在侧撞过程中减弱扶手的移动或在侧撞事故中收缩门扶手以最小化或消除此类伤害。
发明内容
在一个实施例中,本发明涉及一种用于车辆侧撞碰撞事件中的主车扶手的扶手收缩机构。该机构包括具有内和外径以及预定长度的有中轴线的圆柱形管子。该管子在管子外径上具有相互同轴并平行于中轴线的导向装置。偏置元件,例如螺旋弹簧,被封装在管子的内径内。收缩装置,具有适于配合地扣合主车扶手的第一端部以及适于穿过偏置元件插入、并在附件中终止以压缩偏置元件的第二端部。所述收缩装置元件具有处于所述第一和第二端部之间的肩部,以配合地扣合第二保持装置,将附件保持在偏置元件的压缩位置中。该机构可以进一步包括适于插入导向装置并延长一段预定长度的杆。该杆具有适于接收固定夹的第一端部以及适于接收垫圈或圆片的第二端部。杆响应车辆的侧面碰撞将配合地扣合,并且使固定夹与收缩装置脱开以及允许所述偏置元件展开并且收缩扶手。

具体实施方式
现在参看附图,其中相同的数字表示相同的结构,并且特别参看图1,2和3,图中示出了具有收缩装置12的扶手收缩机构10,该收缩装置的一端带有孔眼14并且在相对的另一端具有螺纹部分16。收缩装置具有在孔眼和螺纹端中间的卡位凹槽18,用以以下描述的方式容纳弹簧固定夹20。本实施例中,固定夹具有两个能插入卡位凹槽的相对的卡爪22和24,还具有偏置特征26和28,以允许卡爪互相偏离以容纳收缩装置中的凹槽,而一旦弹簧夹位于凹槽中,就迫使卡爪彼此相对回复以将夹子在凹槽上固定到位。因此,可以理解,固定夹的开口30略小于凹槽处收缩装置主体的直径。
螺旋弹簧32能插入管体36的内径34。保持件主体能相对地插入相对于弹簧和管子的轴向位置,以使收缩装置被固定夹和螺母以及垫圈压缩和保持在适当位置时,能够响应力以下文描述的方式在管体中移动。
管子具有外径38,在外径38上固定或成形有或以其他方式设有至少一个导向装置,在本实施例中为两个,分别是导向装置40和42。导向装置与管的中轴线44平行并且用于响应撞击力在实质上平行于中轴线的路径上引导杆46。如果使用一个导向装置,其应当有足够的长度以允许引导杆在实质上与管的中心轴线平行的路径上移动。杆的一端安装有砧板47,图示为具有中心孔49以容纳杆46的直径的圆盘或垫圈。在它的另一端,杆装备有适于与保持弹簧上的边缘50相互作用的弯型部分48。边缘50可以进一步装备有容纳弯型部分直径的孔51以确保弯型部分始终与边缘接触。本领域技术人员将容易理解,任何确保与弹簧夹持续作用的方式都是可以预期的,并且图1,2和3仅描述了一种可能性。
图3表示处于装配模式的图1的扶手收缩机构。组装好的扶手收缩机构作为装配好的单元如图3所示插入车门。装配好之后,弹簧压缩在管中、固定夹和带有垫圈的螺母之间,表现为装有弹簧的机构。
现在参看图4,其表示车门52的侧视剖面图,表示门内封装的扶手收缩机构。特别地,收缩装置上的孔眼固定于扶手58上的附件54上。请注意,在本实施例中,砧板置于车门饰板62的外侧60,但在车外板64的内部。装有弹簧的管子位于车门饰板62的内部。当足够猛烈的侧撞碰撞能量65直接指向车外板时,将会使车外板变形为足以使车外板与砧板接触的点。响应碰撞,砧板通过杆将侧撞碰撞能量传送至弯型部分,在那里其将与弹簧夹边缘相互作用,并且碰撞的力将克服固定夹并且它将与收缩装置脱开;接着,螺旋弹簧展开并且收缩装置将拉动扶手离开车的内部66。
图5是示出了与随时间变化的施加力有关的可伸缩的扶手机构的动作的图表68。Y轴70是以牛顿(N)为单位的测试的力,并且X轴72是以毫秒为单位的时间。每条曲线74、76、78、80、82分别表示可伸缩的扶手机构在碰撞事故过程中加在扶手上的随时间变化的力。线条74、76、78和80表示每小时24英里侧面碰撞时的冲击力,而线82和84表示每小时17英里时的冲击力。注意,在每个例子中,施加在可伸缩的扶手上的最大力是在2毫秒时,并且当力消散后,加在扶手机构上的力回到就像没有发生碰撞时的力。因此,可以理解为可伸缩的扶手机构对于侧撞碰撞力是敏感的。
图6表示作为时间的函数的砧板位移的图表86。X轴88为以毫秒为单位的时间,并且Y轴90为以毫米(mm)为单位的位移。曲线92和94表示在每小时24英里时的砧板位移。每个实施例中的砧板位移实质上相同,并且砧板位移在多种碰撞事故中是恒定的。

Claims (4)

1.一种用于车辆侧撞碰撞事件中的主车扶手的扶手收缩机构,包括:
具有预定长度、有中轴线的圆柱形管,所述管具有内径和外径;在管的外径上相互共轴、并与所述中轴线平行的至少一个导向装置;所述管具有一个端部开口以便能够插入偏置元件和带有垫圈的螺母;所述管具有另一个中心带有孔的封闭端部,所述孔具有足够的直径以便能将收缩装置插入管中;
装于管的内径内的偏置元件;
收缩装置,具有适于配合地衔接主车扶手的第一端部以及适于穿过偏置元件插入的第二端部,所述第二端部在附件中终止以压缩偏置元件;所述收缩装置元件具有处于所述第一和第二端部之间的肩部,以配合地扣合固定夹,使附件保持与偏置元件配合地扣合;
适于插入所述导向装置并延长一段预定长度的杆;所述杆具有适于接收固定夹的第一端部以及与垫圈或圆片配合地扣合的第二端部;杆响应车辆的侧面碰撞将使固定夹从收缩装置脱开然后缩回扶手并且允许偏置元件释放。
2.根据权利要求1所述的扶手收缩机构,其特征在于,所述偏置元件为螺旋弹簧。
3.根据权利要求1所述的扶手收缩机构,其特征在于,所述收缩装置是圆柱形杆,其第一端部具有适于配合地扣合扶手中的止动栓的闭环眼,其第二端部具有螺纹部分,用以接受螺母和垫圈的组合以扣合弹簧;所述收缩装置延伸的长度可以大于圆柱形管的长度。
4.根据权利要求1所述的扶手收缩机构,其特征在于,所述杆的第二端部具有固定在其上的圆盘或垫片,对侧面碰撞力作出反应以收缩收缩装置。
