技术领域
本发明涉及锥形滚柱轴承,并且更具体地涉及铁道车辆中使用的这种锥形滚柱轴承用的改进保持架。 
背景技术
具有两排预装配入自保持的预润滑包装的锥形滚柱轴承的滚柱轴承组件是已知的,所述滚柱轴承组件用于装配到车轴或轮轴的端部处的轴颈上。这种轴承组件用作装配到车轴端部处的轴颈上的铁道车辆轴承。这种类型的轴承通常采用两排锥形滚柱,每个锥形滚柱安装入一公共轴承外圈的每端,并且相应的轴承内圈的内径尺寸形成与轴颈的过盈配合,并且圆柱形套筒或间隔件定位于内圈之间以在轴颈上提供准确的间隔。保持架能将每排锥形滚柱中的锥形滚柱保持为彼此间隔开并且正确地对准。安装在轴承外圈的每端内的密封件提供与耐磨环的密封接触,其中所述耐磨环位于组件的两端处,抵靠相应轴承内圈的外端。 
在典型的铁道车辆设备中,轮轴轴颈在内端处加工有倒圆部,并且具有与倒圆部的轮廓互补的表面以及与内部耐磨环的内端相接合的抵靠表面的垫环将轴承组件准确地定位在轴颈上。借助于旋拧入轮轴端部中的孔内的螺栓安装在轮轴端部上的端盖接合外部耐磨环并且将整个组件夹紧在轮轴的端部上。耐磨环的内径通常的尺寸设定为提供与轴颈的过盈配合(至少在它们的一部分长度上)以使得整个组件作为一个单元被压紧配合到轴颈轴的端部上。 
发明内容
本发明的锥形滚柱轴承组件包括安装在轮轴或车轴的轴颈部分周 围的内圈。内圈包括面向外的滚道。外圈具有面向内的滚道。滚柱元件定位于内圈滚道和外圈滚道之间并且与之接触。保持架是保持滚柱元件彼此间隔开并且对准的一体式结构。保持架由尼龙或聚合物构成,具有纤维填料,并且具有带增强支撑兜孔梁的改进设计。 
垫环具有与形成于车轴上的倒圆部的预定轮廓表面互补且接合的轮廓表面。倒圆部从轴颈延伸至车轴的台肩。轮廓表面辅助用于将垫环固定以防止沿着轴的轴向运动。环形耐磨环设置在内圈和垫环之间并且与这两者接合。

具体实施方式
现在参照图1,图1中整体上用附图标记10标识的锥形滚柱轴承组件示出为安装于轮轴或车轴14(典型地为铁道车辆车轴)的自由悬臂端的轴颈12上。轴颈12加工至紧公差(close tolerance)并且其内端以特定轮廓的倒圆部22结束,从而导致车轴14形成有圆柱形台肩18。在车轴的自由端处,轴颈部分12以略呈圆锥形或锥形的导向部分24结束,导向部分24的尺寸设定为便于将轴承组件安装到轴颈上。多个螺纹孔26形成于车轴14的端部中,以用于接收带螺帽的螺钉或者螺栓28,从而将轴承保持盖30安装在车轴的端部上以将轴承夹紧就位,这一点将在后文更详细描述。 
锥形滚柱轴承组件10在安装到轴颈12上并由轴承保持盖30夹紧 到轴颈12上之前预先装配。锥形滚柱轴承组件包括一体式的轴承外圈或外部座圈32,外部座圈32具有一对滚道34、36,所述滚道分别邻近于外部座圈32的每个端部形成,并且分别与一对轴承内圈38、40相配合以在其间分别支撑两排锥形滚柱42、44。中心间隔件46定位于两内圈38、40之间以维持两内圈处于相对彼此准确地间隔开的关系。 
轴承外圈32在其位于滚道34、36外侧的两相对端部处设有圆柱形沉头孔48、50,并且一对密封组件52、54一一对应地分别压入配合至每个圆柱形沉头孔48、50中。密封组件52、54分别包括弹性密封元件56、58,它们分别接合于一对密封耐磨环套筒60、62并且与之形成密封,其中,这一对密封耐磨环套筒60、62的向内的端部分别与轴承内圈38、40的向外端部相接合。耐磨环套筒60的另一端容置在环形垫环66的轴向向内的端部中的圆柱形沉头孔64中,环形垫环66在其另一端具有沉头孔68,沉头孔68的尺寸设定为以过盈配合或非过盈配合的关系容置于车轴14的圆柱形台肩18上。沉头孔64以及耐磨环套筒60的外径的尺寸还要设计为提供过盈配合以使得耐磨环被压入配合至垫环66中,垫环66被准确地加工为具有预定轮廓内表面70,当轴承安装于车轴上时,该预定轮廓内表面70与倒圆部22的轮廓互补且接合。套筒62的向外端部抵靠于保持盖30上。 
保持架80典型地是由树脂材料比如聚合物或尼龙树脂构成的一体结构。保持架80还包括通常为至少10mm或更长长度的纤维填料(通常为玻璃纤维或碳纤维),并且纤维填料的重量通常为树脂保持架自身重量的至少25%至50%。 
保持架80能利用聚合物或尼龙树脂通过注射成型工艺制成。玻璃纤维或碳纤维能够通过拉挤成型(pultrusion)工艺加入以便给树脂提供增加的强度。 
保持架80也能利用聚合物或尼龙树脂通过注射成型工艺制成。玻璃纤维或碳纤维能够以在线配混(in line compounding)工艺加入以便给树脂保持架本身提供增加的强度。 
可以看到,保持架80具有大致圆柱形结构。保持架80包括大致圆形的内环81和较大直径的大致圆形的外环83。多个兜孔梁(pocketbar,也叫保持架梁、窗孔梁或者过梁)85从内环81延伸至外环83,从而在内环81和外环83之间提供结构支撑。 
多个支撑兜孔梁87也从内环81延伸至外环83从而在内环81和外环83之间提供结构支撑。 
可以看到,每个兜孔梁85包括径向厚度与内环81的径向厚度相等的基部段86。然而,每个兜孔梁85具有径向厚度减小至尺寸A的锥形区域89,尺寸A小于基部段86的径向厚度。 
可以看到,每个支撑兜孔梁87包括径向厚度与内环81的径向厚度相等的基部段88。然而,对于其大部分长度而言,每个支撑兜孔梁87以径向厚度B继续延伸,径向厚度B大于兜孔梁85的径向厚度A。 
从图2能看到,在保持架80中具有多个兜孔梁85和支撑兜孔梁87。由于需要允许润滑剂在锥形滚柱轴承组件10内移动,所以不希望内环81和外环83之间的所有支撑都呈支撑兜孔梁87的形式。然而,具有多个呈更加结实的支撑兜孔梁87的形式的支撑件允许了锥形滚柱42和44更好的对准。在铁路货车进行需要的维护时,在典型的铁道车辆维护中,锥形滚柱42和44会由于轴承10经受的振动而变得歪斜或失准。保持架80由于经受锥形滚柱42和44发热而带来的温度也会导致滚柱42和44产生振动并且导致锥形滚柱42和44的失准。即使在目前使用的聚合物保持架中,保持架兜孔梁也会移动并且可使锥形滚柱失准。本发明的改进保持架降低了这种保持架振动和锥形滚柱失准的可能性。 
实际上,可能的保持架摇晃被限制为小于0.03英寸,这主要是由于支撑件的刚度增加。而且,由于改进的设计和较低热膨胀系数的材料,可以降低滚柱/保持架的间隙。较低的热膨胀系数允许更紧密的兜孔梁间隙并且因此允许更小的保持架摇晃。更小的保持架摇晃和更紧密的兜孔梁间隙减小了可能的滚柱歪斜量。 
保持架摇晃将会因为轴承系统组件的振动而引起更差的滚柱歪 斜。 
保持架“摇晃”是指在滚柱和内圈这一给定组件上的保持架的可能的径向运动量。 
摇晃是指保持架在内部座圈部件上沿径向的允许的运动范围。 

Claims (11)

1.一种锥形滚柱轴承组件,包括
其上具有面向外的滚道的内圈;
其上具有面向内的滚道的外圈;
定位于内圈滚道和外圈滚道之间并且与内圈滚道和外圈滚道接触的锥形滚柱元件;以及
为所述锥形滚柱元件提供间隔和对准的保持架;
其中,所述保持架具有大致圆柱形结构,并且包括圆形内环和较大直径的圆形外环,其中,多个兜孔梁在所述内环和所述外环之间延伸,并且还有多个支撑兜孔梁也在内环和外环之间延伸,其中每个支撑兜孔梁的厚度大于每个兜孔梁的厚度;
其中每个支撑兜孔梁具有附接至内环的基部段,并且其中每个支撑兜孔梁其大部分长度上的厚度与支撑兜孔梁的基部段的厚度大致相同。
2.根据权利要求1的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中每个兜孔梁具有附接至内环的基部段,并且其中每个兜孔梁的厚度小于兜孔梁的基部段的厚度。
3.根据权利要求1的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中每个兜孔梁具有附接至内环的基部段,并且其中每个兜孔梁的厚度从其基部段开始渐细以使得每个兜孔梁的厚度小于该兜孔梁的基部段的厚度。
4.根据权利要求1的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中保持架为由具有玻璃纤维填料的树脂材料构成的整体一体式结构。
5.根据权利要求4的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中树脂材料是尼龙,而填料中的玻璃纤维的长度整体超过10mm。
6.根据权利要求4的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中玻璃纤维填料为树脂材料的重量的至少25%。
7.根据权利要求1的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中保持架由填充了长度为至少10mm、重量百分比为至少25%的玻璃纤维的尼龙树脂材料注射成型。
8.根据权利要求4的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中每个兜孔梁具有附接至内环的基部段并且每个兜孔梁的厚度小于兜孔梁的基部段的厚度。
9.根据权利要求4的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中每个兜孔梁具有附接至内环的基部段,并且其中每个兜孔梁的厚度从其基部段开始渐细以使得每个兜孔梁的厚度小于该兜孔梁的基部段的厚度。
10.根据权利要求4的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中保持架由填充了长度为至少10mm、重量百分比为至少25%的玻璃纤维的尼龙树脂材料注射成型。
11.根据权利要求9的锥形滚柱轴承组件,
其中保持架的可能的振动小于0.03英寸。
