Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种具有可拆卸工具组件的外科器械。
背景技术
诸如镊子这样的外科器械在本领域中公知地用于手术和其它医疗程序。通常,诸如凯利(Kelly)镊子这样的镊子具有象剪刀这样的两件式结构,但是被用于夹持而不是切割。这些常用镊子包括附连到一对钳夹的一对手柄。
在先进的内窥镜和关节镜手术中,取决于各种各样的因素外科医生可能需要几种不同类型和尺寸的钳夹。为了节省处置和消毒的成本,医疗设备供应商开始提供具有可拆卸工具组件的外科器械。
在O’Connor等人的美国专利No.5,893,875(‘875专利)中公开了一种这样的器械。‘875专利的器械包括连接到轴的手柄。该器械还包括可拆卸工具,例如剪刀。连接到工具的第一套管与连接到轴的第二套管配合。工具与轴断开连接会是麻烦的并且需要双手旋转部件。
因此,需要具有可容易拆卸的工具组件的外科器械,其可以用单手操作。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种外科器械。所述器械包括具有近端和远端的轴。外壳围绕所述轴的至少一部分。至少一个手柄操作地连接到所述轴的近端,以用于沿纵向致动所述外壳内的所述轴。所述器械还包括具有连杆的可拆卸工具组件,所述连杆具有近端和远端。至少一个工具操作地连接到所述连杆。所述器械还包括夹头,所述夹头布置在所述外壳内并且可拆卸地联接所述往复连杆。
本发明的外科器械允许仅仅通过致动手柄快速拆卸可拆卸工具组件。该拆卸可以通过器械的操作者(例如外科医生或助手)用单手形成,因此允许操作者的另一只手自由地执行其它任务。此外,操作者不需要将他的手从器械的手柄拿开来拆卸工具组件。这防止通过工具组件的操纵造成潜在污染。

具体实施方式
参考附图,示出外科器械50,其中在全部几个视图中相似的附图标记表示相应的部分。
在第一实施例中,如图1中所示,外科器械50是镊子,主要用于执行内窥镜或关节镜手术,具体地用于在这样的手术期间夹持对象。外科器械50的部件典型地由金属(例如不锈钢)形成。然而,该外科器械的各个部件可以由本领域技术人员已知的其它材料形成。
现在参考图2,外科器械50包括具有近端54和远端56的轴52。优选地,轴52为杆状,具有大体为圆形的横截面。然而,轴52的横截面可以限定其它形状。例如,轴52的横截面可以为正方形或三角形(两者都未示出)。
轴52至少部分地布置在外壳58中。也就是说,外壳58围绕轴52的至少一部分。外壳58优选地为管状并且包括近端60和远端62。外壳优选地限定圆形横截面,并且具有用于容纳轴52的中空中心。与轴52的情况相同,外壳58的横截面也可以限定其它形状。
至少一个手柄64、66优选地在轴52的近端54操作地连接到轴52。在第一实施例中,外科器械50包括固定手柄64和活动手柄66。固定手柄64附连到外壳58的近端60并且不相对于外壳58运动。活动手柄66可枢转地连接到固定手柄64。穿过孔(未标示)布置在每个手柄64、66中的销68提供该可枢转连接。

上述互连使组件72的钳夹74、76能够响应连杆106的往复运动而运动。当拉动连杆106远离U形夹部件78时,钳夹74、76朝着彼此运动到闭合位置,如图3和8中所示。当朝着U形夹部件78推动连杆106时,钳夹74、76彼此远离地张开到打开位置,如图2中所见。
如图6-10中所示,外科器械50包括夹头(collet)116以用于将连杆106可拆卸地联接到轴52。夹头116布置在外壳58内。夹头116包括基部118和从基部118延伸的多个可张开指状件120。夹头116的基部118附连到轴52的远端。夹头116与轴52的该附连可以通过许多技术实现,这些技术包括但不限于熔接、焊接、紧固件或粘合剂。本领域技术人员可以想到其它技术将夹头116附连到轴52。可供选择地,轴52和夹头116可以一起整体地形成一体部件。
现在具体参考图9和10,夹头116的每个指状件120包括从基部延伸的杆122和布置在杆122顶上的尖端124。优选地,每个杆122基本上是平坦的和薄的金属件。这使指状件120的尖端124能够在未被压缩时彼此分离地张开。然而,当被压缩时,指状件120的尖端124聚拢以形成环箍(hoop)(未编号)。连杆106的球形近端108被捕获在基部118和指状件120的尖端124之间。换句话说,夹头116包围球形近端108。当球形近端108被夹头116捕获时,连杆106延伸穿过环箍的中心(未编号),球形近端108除外。
参考图6和8,外壳58优选地限定中心开口126和腔128。腔128邻近外壳58的远端62布置。腔128具有的横截面宽度大于中心开口126的横截面宽度。在外壳58具有圆形横截面的优选实施例中,腔128具有的直径大于中心开口126的直径。
由于夹头116的基部附连到轴52的远端56,当轴52基于活动手柄66的运动往复运动时夹头116在外壳内运动。夹头116能在放开位置和操作位置之间运动。在操作位置,夹头116的指状件120基本布置在中心开口126内,从而指状件120缩合(collapsed)以捕获连杆106的球形近端108。在放开位置,夹头116的指状件120基本布置在腔128内。因而,指状件120在腔128中彼此远离地张开以释放连杆106。因此,当活动手柄66运动远离固定手柄64时,夹头116运动到放开位置,在该放开位置可拆卸工具组件72可以从外科器械50上移除。即使在放开位置,夹头116的指状件120也布置在外壳内。因此,保护指状件120免于意外损坏或破坏。
除了由夹头116和连杆106提供的联接器(coupling)之外,U形夹部件78和外壳58还提供了辅助联接器。具体地说,U形夹部件78的近端80可移除地联接到外壳58的远端62。当活动手柄66在放开位置推动轴62时,轴62迫使U形夹部件78与外壳58分离。因此,外科器械50提供了均由活动手柄66的单手操作控制的两个独立联接器。这在可拆卸工具组件72和外壳58之间提供了极其稳定的连接。
本发明公开了用于实现该辅助联接器的许多构造。辅助联接器的第一构造在图5-8和11-12中示出。参考图11,U形夹部件78限定从近端80向内突出的一对狭缝130。U形夹部件78的近端80还限定具有凹槽134的凹陷外表面132,所述凹槽134凹入凹陷外表面132中。外壳58的远端62限定具有向内突出的突舌138的内表面136。外壳58的突舌138和U形夹部件78的凹槽134配合以将外壳58和U形夹部件78联接在一起。狭缝130使U形夹部件78的近端80能够压缩,因此允许U形夹部件78与外壳58连接和断开连接。

Claims (14)
1.一种外科器械,其包括:
轴,其具有近端和远端;
外壳,其围绕所述轴的至少一部分并且限定中心开口和腔,其中所述腔具有的横截面宽度大于所述中心开口的横截面宽度;
至少一个手柄,其操作地连接到所述轴的所述近端,以用于沿纵向致动所述外壳内的所述轴;
可拆卸的工具组件,其包括具有近端和远端的连杆和操作地连接到所述连杆的至少一个工具;和
夹头,其布置在所述外壳内并且可拆卸地联接所述轴和所述连杆。
2.如权利要求1所述的外科器械,其中所述夹头包括附连到所述轴的所述远端的基部。

13.如权利要求1所述的外科器械,其中所述至少一个工具进一步被限定为电极。
14.一种外科器械,其包括:
轴,其具有近端和远端;
外壳,其围绕所述轴的至少一部分并且限定中心开口和腔,其中所述腔具有的横截面宽度大于所述中心开口的横截面宽度;
至少一个手柄,其操作地连接到所述轴的所述近端,以用于沿纵向致动所述外壳内的所述轴;
可拆卸的工具组件,其包括具有近端和远端的连杆和操作地连接到所述连杆的至少一个工具;
第一联接器,其由夹头和所述连杆形成,所述夹头能在放开位置和至少一个操作位置之间运动、并且在所述放开位置和至少一个操作位置中的每个位置都完全布置在所述外壳内,用于可拆卸地联接所述轴;
所述可拆卸的工具组件还包括U形夹部件;和
第二联接器,其由所述U形夹部件和所述外壳形成,用于将所述可拆卸的工具组件可拆卸地联接到所述外壳。
