Claims (25)
- 流体支援双極電気外科デバイスであって、高周波エネルギーならびに前記デバイスから供給される流体が存在する状態で組織を処置するためのものであり、
前記デバイスは、
このデバイスのユーザーによって手で成形可能である造形可能シャフトアセンブリの端部における第1の電極および第2の電極と、
少なくとも一つの流体出口と、
を具備してなり、
前記造形可能シャフトアセンブリは、第1のシャフトおよび第2のシャフトを具備してなり、前記第1のシャフトのある長さおよび前記第2のシャフトのある長さはポリマーからなる外側部材内にあり、かつ、前記第1のシャフトの少なくとも一部分および前記第2のシャフトの少なくとも一部分は造形可能であり、
第1の流体出口が、前記第1の電極の側方面部に少なくとも部分的に且つ横方向に形成されており、
第2の流体出口が、前記第2の電極の側方面部に少なくとも部分的に且つ横方向に形成されており、
前記第1の流体出口及び前記第2の流体出口それぞれから流出した流体が、前記組織の表面と前記第1の流体出口及び前記第2の流体出口との間に、第1の流体カップリング及び第2の流体カップリングそれぞれを形成しており、
前記第1の流体出口の向きが、前記第2の流体出口の向きの逆向きであり、前記第1の電極が、前記第2の電極から横方向に隔離されており、これにより、前記第1の流体カップリングと前記第2の流体カップリングとの同化が阻止されることを特徴とするデバイス。 - 前記外側部材は、前記第1のシャフトおよび前記第2のシャフトの同時ハンドシェーピングを実現することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記外側部材は、前記第1のシャフトおよび前記第2のシャフトの類似輪郭を伴うハンドシェーピングを実現することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ポリマーは熱可塑性ポリマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ポリマーはエラストマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のシャフトおよび前記第2のシャフトの少なくとも一方は金属からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1のシャフトの少なくとも一部分は、前記第2のシャフトの少なくとも一部分と平行であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の電極は、前記第1のシャフトの遠位端部において保持され、かつ、
前記第2の電極は、前記第2のシャフトの遠位端部において保持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極は、前記高周波エネルギーおよび前記流体が存在する状況下で、前記組織表面を横切ってスライドするよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極は実質的に同じサイズのものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の電極は、前記第2の電極から横方向に離間していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の電極はドーム形状を備え、かつ、
前記第2の電極はドーム形状を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記第1の電極は球状遠位端部を具備してなり、かつ、
前記第2の電極は球状遠位端部を具備してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記第1の電極に流体を供給するための前記少なくとも一つの流体出口と流体連通状態となった第1の流体供給路と、
前記第2の電極に流体を供給するための前記少なくとも一つの流体出口と流体連通状態となった第2の流体供給路と、
をさらに具備してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 照明アセンブリをさらに具備してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記照明アセンブリはイルミネーターを具備してなることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のデバイス。
- 前記イルミネーターは、前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極に向かって照明を向けるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記イルミネーターは、前記第1のシャフトの遠位部分と前記第2のシャフトの遠位部分との間に存在することを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記イルミネーターは前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極に隣接していることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記イルミネーターは、前記造形可能シャフトアセンブリの端部においてハウジング内に配置されており、かつ、
前記ハウジングは半透明および透明の少なくとも一方であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。 - 前記イルミネーターは光源を具備してなることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記光源は発光ダイオードからなることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のデバイス。
- 前記イルミネーターは、長尺な透明光ガイドを具備してなることを特徴とする請求項16に記載のデバイス。
- 前記照明アセンブリは、前記デバイスのハンドル内に光源を具備してなることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のデバイス。
- 前記照明アセンブリは、前記デバイスのハンドル内に電源を具備してなることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のデバイス。
