Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种供制造容器之用的注射模制型坯、和用来制造具有携带把手的容器的方法和设备。
本发明特别适于由聚对苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)制造广口容器,该广口容器实质上是罐或钵,优选地具有盖,尽管本发明不限于这样的制造。术语“广口”对于本领域的技术人员很容易理解;在工业中,它被理解成涉及具有比近似35mm大的口的容器。“小口”在另一方面被理解成涉及具有比近似35mm小的口的容器。
背景技术
按常规,对于钢质杠杆盖油漆罐,在罐已经填充有油漆并且盖已经被加上之后,装配金属丝把手。
国际专利申请WO97/19801描述了一种使用两步骤过程制造容器的方法。在第一步骤中,原始容器或型坯通过注射模制被形成。在这个阶段,容器的边沿基本上完全形成,但本体尚未形成,作为取代,原始容器壁采取从边沿的内周缘向内延伸的中央锥体的形式。在第二步骤中,将型坯转移到吹塑模具,并且使壁向外扩展以形成容器本体。国际专利申请WO00/46118和WO2004/71745描述了具有更复杂边沿结构的容器。
应该理解,在以上描述的容器形成过程中的步骤,可以在业内常规称作一个全包括机器中作为单阶段工艺、或者在分别的注射模制和再加热吹塑成形机器中被完成,在后一种情况下,它被描述为两阶段工艺。
澳大利亚专利说明书AU 2004203640描述了一种容器,该容器具有:枢转安装把手,跨过容器的顶部的直径延伸;和心轴,它们的端部被接纳在边沿的凸缘中的敞开键孔孔径中。心轴的横截面与孔径的形状配合以提供定位作用,该定位作用用于将把手定位在水平休止位置中,但从该位置它可容易地枢转。
发明内容
本发明在其各个方面在所附的权利要求书中定义,对该权利要求书现在可以参考。便利特征在从属权利要求中叙述。
下面参照附图更详细地描述本发明的优选实施例。这个实施例产生一种广口容器,该广口容器具有本体和限定用于容器的开口的边沿,并且由诸如PET、PEN、或PP之类的材料在两阶段工艺中制成。在其制造中的第一步骤包括注射模制型坯,该型坯具有在其嘴口处形成的边沿、和跨过型坯从边沿的内部周缘延伸的连续本体形成部分。注射模制把手然后连结到型坯上,把手具有接纳在边沿中的孔径中的端部。型坯然后可在这种状态下被存储或运输。在最后步骤中,型坯首先使用红外灯被再加热,并且然后被放置在吹塑成形设备的模制空腔中,使型坯借助于边沿被定位。模具包括在边沿周围的凹口,以容纳在吹塑成形设备的操作期间连结到边沿上的把手。本体形成部分在空腔中扩张,以形成容器的侧壁和底壁。容器的侧壁接触形成边沿的外部部分的裙部,因而形成用来保持把手和增加这个区域的刚性的箱形截面。
优选实施例包括一种特征,通过该特征,裙部和与其相邻的把手的端部的内部表面具有配合定位器构造(detent arrangement),该配合定位器构造用于将在容器上的把手锁闩在一个或多个预定枢转位置中,从而有助于从容器倾注。例如,定位器构造可包括在枢转轴线的径向延伸的相对配合槽口和凸棱或肋。可选择地,它们可包括绕把手的枢转轴线的至少部分形成的多边形形状,该多边形形状的一部分与在边沿上的接合部分配合。
在一个实施例中,把手的端部被接纳在除径向相对位置处之外的边沿中,例如在绕边缘间隔开90至175度的位置处。这可有助于从容器倾注。关于适当长度的把手,这也为把手提供两个休止位置,一个位于边沿周围,并且另一个抵靠边沿下面的容器的侧面。

具体实施方式
基本的已知模制方法
现在将描述制造图1的容器的方法。该制造方法基于在国际专利申请No.WO97/19801中描述的方法。对于涉及设计的另外细节和变化可以参考该申请。在该申请中描述的基本方法将参照附图的图1至4被首先解释。
所述方法的第一阶段是形成型坯。型坯15表示在图2中,并且通过注射模制形成。注射模制设备是广为人知的,因而在此无需给出这样的设备的详细描述。然而应该注意,型坯的边沿在这种操作中被完全形成,并且采用在最终容器中要求的形状。注射模制的使用允许边沿和本体形成部分以高精度形成,这分别对于盖的良好密封和对于在成品容器中实现最佳材料分布是必要的。
应该注意,在本描述中,型坯和最终容器假定在常规方位中,就是说,使嘴口在顶部处并且基底在底部处。术语“上”、“下”、“竖直”、“水平”、“升高”及“降低”等和它们的衍生词因此应该在这种意义上解释,尽管在实际事实中,型坯或容器的方位可以与此不同。
容器由热塑性树脂制成,并且具体地说,由聚对苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)、聚苯二甲酸乙酯(PEN)、PET和PEN混合物、或聚丙烯(PP)制成。
制造过程可使用两种相异的注射拉伸吹塑成形技术,单阶段或两阶段,的任一种进行。在单阶段工艺中,型坯被注射模制,被调节到适当温度,及被吹制成容器——所有这些步骤都在一个机器上的连续过程中进行。在两阶段工艺中,型坯在常规注射模制机上产生,并且在从注射模具排出之后被冷却到室温,并且如果希望,则可以存储或装运到完全不同的位置,以便在另外的再加热吹塑成形机上再加热和吹制,在该机器中,红外能量被用来将型坯再加热到用于吹制的正确温度,以给出成品容器。本发明对于两阶段工艺具有重要价值。
在图1中表示穿过典型注射模具的截面。注射模具具有两个主要部分,即由空腔插入件42形成的下部部分和由两件式内部型坯芯销44和外部型坯芯销截面46形成的上部部分。还设有颈部裂片(necksplits)48,该颈部裂片48由颈部裂片载体板50携带。塑料材料经注射孔口54,俗称“浇铸口”,被注射在型坯15的底部中心处的空腔插入件42中。
型坯以这样一种方式设计,从而中央模具芯(销44和46)的直线竖直运动将允许型坯从模具除去。在芯或空腔的任一个的结构中没有底切或滑动。
在图2中表示的型坯包括完全形成的边沿3。然而,容器本体的壁20在这时没有形成,作为取代,型坯包括连续的盘或碗形本体形成部件120,该本体形成部件120跨过型坯从边沿的内周缘21延伸,但它与其最终形式相比具有减小的尺寸。边沿在下文中更详细地描述,但将注意到,它具有外部正面或裙部26和U形沟道22,见图5。
本体形成部件120的形状可以是从接近平薄膜至大体锥形形状的任何形状。本体形成部件120的厚度是重要的,因为它将至少部分地确定最终侧壁和底壁的厚度。因而,本体形成部件120应该优选地具有在2与4mm之间的厚度。优选地将形成侧壁的区域应该具有大体均匀的厚度,并且优选地本体形成部件在厚度方面应该没有突然变化。
型坯的形状能够使它们与其它相像型坯嵌套或堆叠,这允许更有效的存储和运输。然而,型坯容易分离,因为各个型坯可容易地握住。
然后将型坯移动到再加热吹塑成形机。为此,型坯需要再加热;这在下面描述。吹塑成形机是一种类型的压力模制机;较不优选的可选择例是采用使用抽吸而不是吹制的机器。吹塑成形机、和吹塑成形的方法在现有技术中是公知的,并且例如在国际专利申请WO97/19801、WO00/46118及WO2004/71745中描述。
热的并且易弯的型坯被转移到吹塑成形站60,在图3中表示。这包括空腔61,该空腔61在侧面处由两个可动的半模62和63限定,所述半模62和63的顶部具有型坯保持和定位件71和72,且在底部具有可动基底或铁杆64。空腔61具有与成品容器的形状相一致的形状。空腔的顶部由夹具209限定,该夹具209具有圆形开口,穿过该圆形开口,轴向竖直可动中央拉伸杆66可降低到型坯15的敞开顶部中,从而它接合型坯15的本体形成部分120。当它下降时,它引起本体形成截面的机械向下拉伸。与型坯边沿3相接合的夹具209的部分可以是平的,如在这个简化视图中表示的那样,或者优选地将成型为紧密地匹配U形沟道22的形状。
因而,顺序是,首先具有型坯保持和定位件71和72的两个吹塑半模62、63绕由型坯载体209支撑的易弯型坯15封闭。然后拉伸杆66被降低,以将构成容器壁的材料120压向模具空腔61的基底64。同时,压缩空气经型坯载体209的中部69引入到型坯中。这使在型坯顶部处的塑料材料向外运动,直到它接触吹塑模具空腔的侧面,在它这样进行时接触裙部26的底部,因而在边沿中形成箱形截面。
随着压缩空气继续吹入,形成瘤状体(aneurysm),该瘤状体迅速扩张,直到已经形成比模具空腔稍小的初始容器。在这时,较高压力的压缩空气被引入,以通过将型坯的仍然软的塑料材料强制压靠吹塑模具的金属侧面而形成成品容器。这继续受到由拉伸杆66引起的机械拉伸的帮助。
拉伸杆66也被用来对中在容器底部中的型坯的浇铸口(中央或底部点)。由拉伸杆66赋予的机械拉伸量与由压缩空气引起的拉伸相比实际上很小。
如以上提到的那样,模具空腔61的形状使得将所需的形状赋予容器侧壁20和底壁2。
一旦材料已经冷却和固化,高压空气就被排空,并且吹塑模具打开,且然后将容器升出。吹塑模具的金属侧面可以选择性地致冷,以帮助塑料材料的冷却。容器借助于边沿3升出。
生成容器的形状在图4中看到,该图4是穿过按上述制造的成品广口容器1的侧剖视图。容器可以是大致圆筒形形状的,如这里示出的那样,或者可以是根据市场需要具有多个侧面20和一个基底2的方形或其它形状。本体具有与嘴口类似或比其宽的直径,该嘴口由边沿3限定。
现在参照图5和6将更详细地描述容器边沿。图5是穿过图2的型坯15的边沿的剖视详图,并且图6是穿过图4的成品容器1的边沿的剖视详图。如在两个图中看到的那样,在横截面中,边沿3从内侧部开始具有直立凸缘21,该直立凸缘21限定U形沟道22的内侧,该U形沟道22的径向外侧23比凸缘21低。水平凸缘24从侧面23从后者的光滑圆形顶部25向外突出,并且以上提到的裙部26从其外边缘悬垂。在凸缘24的外部顶部角部处,设有开始和直立的另外凸缘28,该凸缘28的圆形顶部刚好比凸缘21的顶部高。凸缘21沿朝向顶部的方向具有稍微向内斜度,并且沟道22被稍微张开。
在绕边沿3的规则间隔处,具有在径向朝向容器轴线的平面中的细小肋29。它们仅以交叉阴影表示在图5中,以将它们与边沿的其余部分区分开,它们与该边沿其余部分整体模制。这些肋增强边沿的强度,并且典型地可以包括在八个与十二个之间的肋29(依据边沿3的直径)。为了清楚起见,肋29在其它图中一般未表示(除图17和图20a之外),并且未作进一步详细描述。
在图6中示出的成品容器中,悬垂在凸缘21上的容器的侧面20接触裙部26的底部以形成箱形截面30,这将另外的强度提供给边沿。
再加热
如在图7中示出的那样,可实现再加热操作。再加热的进一步细节在我们的国际专利申请PCT/GB2007/004365中给出,该申请的标题为“Method and Apparatus for Making a Container with a PressureAccommodating Base(用来制造具有压力容纳基底的容器的方法和设备)”。操作的简短概述如下。当型坯要被模制以形成成品容器时,它们必须首先被再加热,如在图7中示出的那样,从而它们具有正确的温度分布。再加热使用红外灯201-208的阵列实现,这些灯加热在特定地方的型坯15,以便实现在成品容器中材料的正确分布。型坯15由型坯载体209保持在红外灯的前面,该型坯载体209接合型坯15的边沿3的内侧。型坯载体209绕中心轴线210回转。因而,型坯绕其纵向轴线转动,将型坯的本体形成部分120均匀地暴露给加热器。
按照本发明制造和装配容器把手
现在参照图8至10描述待装配到容器上的把手的制造。图8表示被模制在一起的例如十二个把手的阵列或垫的俯视图,并且图9表示在它们被分离并且已经除去注入口之后单个把手的侧视图。图10表示下面所描述的把手的细节。把手典型地将用高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)或聚丙烯(PP)注射模制。
如从图8看到的那样,例如十二个把手90的阵列或垫80可以以扁平形式被注射模制。阵列在任一侧面处形成有注入口82,这些注入口82被除去以分离各个把手90。
从图9的侧视图可清楚地看见每个把手的形状。把手包括长形主带条92,该长形主带条92的中央部分当携带容器时将由使用者握持。带条形成有直立盘部分94,该直立盘部分94起垫片或垫圈的作用。同轴安装在部分94上的是短转轴96,该短转轴96在第二蘑菇形部分98处终止。因而转轴96被夹在直径比转轴大的两个盘部分之间。
图10是在图9的线X-X上得到的剖视图,示出转轴96的横截面。横截面可以是圆形的,如由在图10中的(a)处的96a所示,或者可选择地可以是长形的,如由在图10中的(b)处的96b所示。长形横截面的优点由下述装配把手的方法的描述而更为显明。
为了装配到容器上,把手90需要弯曲成半圆形形状,如在图11中表示的那样。把手材料和尺寸足以允许实现该弯曲,同时赋予把手足够的强度,以用于其携带填充容器的重量的要求目的。
在示出的系统中,在吹塑成形步骤之前,将把手装配到容器上。就是说,将把手装配到型坯15上。方法的特征是,容器的边沿在注射模制步骤中被完全形成;后续的吹塑成形仅用来成形容器的本体,而不是边沿。我们已经认识到,使用这种方法,有可能在吹塑成形之前装配把手,并且这具有非常显著的优点。现在将描述这如何进行。
为了容纳把手90,边沿3注射模制有接纳把手的特殊装置。这示出在图12至17中。边沿的外部裙部26在相邻肋29(如果存在)之间中途的两个(典型地但不是必需的)径向相对位置(图12-侧视图)处形成有两个孔径,这两个孔径具有向下敞开槽或槽口110的形式。每个槽具有圆形上端部112,如在图12中看到的那样。槽可通过对模制后的型坯进行机加工而形成。然而,它优选地在注射模制过程中形成,为此,注射模具的颈部裂片48包括向内指向的结构56,该结构56的形状用于形成槽110,如包括相关区域的细节的图13中所示。在图12、13、及14中可看到在型坯中通过注射模制形成的槽110。
现在把手90可装配到型坯15上。该装配可以人工地进行,尽管典型地它将由机器进行。把手被弯曲成要求形状,从而它的两个端部与相应槽110相邻,并且把手的转轴96向上滑动到槽中。
已装配的把手以截面表示在图15中,并且以立体图表示在图16中,在裙部26下方向上看。转轴96的大小相对于槽的宽度被挑选。这里存在在吹制容器之前将把手保持在型坯中的各种可能性。槽在其圆形端部112处可以稍微较宽,使转轴穿过槽110的主要部分是紧配合,但在圆形端部112中是较松配合,从而它可容易地转动。槽可具有键孔形状。如果转轴具有在图10中的(b)的非圆形形状,那么槽优选地具有介于转轴横截面的较长与较短尺寸中间的宽度,从而转轴可在一个方位中滑动到槽中,使把手在其携带位置中直立,并且然后转动90度以当向下收拢到水平位置时确定地保持在槽中,如在图21的图像序列中示出的那样。这是在图15和16中表示的把手的位置,并且是其中对于型坯15的下次操作发生的位置。参照图21,(a)表示在装配把手90之前的型坯15。在(b)处表示装配把手和对于吹塑模具将它嵌到位要求的两种运动。第一运动,由其中之一标记1st的向上箭头指示,是向上运动,该向上运动将转轴96在把手的两个端部处向上压到槽110中,从而邻接槽的顶部。第二运动,由标记为2nd的弯曲箭头指示,绕在槽110中的转轴96枢转把手,从而它抵靠边沿3的裙部26休止。最后位置示出在图21中的(c)处。看到,槽限定枢转轴线,该枢转轴线跨过容器的嘴口延伸。
整个型坯表示在图17中的立体图中。在该图中,可看到把手的两个相对端部,并且把手在抵靠边沿3的裙部26的水平位置中。
在图12中,所示的边沿具有绕裙部外部的小环形向外延伸肋27。这不仅将辅助强度赋予边沿,而且也提供约束点,以有助于在吹塑模具中吹制容器之前保持把手。槽110穿过肋27形成。另外,凸缘28可以部分地被切除,如在图12中和(在截面中)在图15中表示的那样,以将把手‘锁定’在竖向位置中或在相对于竖向的设定角度处,而便于从成品容器倾注。可选择地,在裙部26中的封闭端部可以是例如六边形的而不是圆形或是矩形的,以便当与类似形状的转轴96组合使用时提供多个把手“锁定”角度。
型坯现在移动到吹塑成形阶段。型坯15的本体120被首先再加热,而不对边沿和把手明显地加热。该加热可由以上所描述的辐射加热元件实现。型坯被放置在吹塑成形设备的模制空腔中,使型坯借助于边沿而定位。
吹塑成形设备表示在图18中。它基于图3的设备,并因而不再充分地描述。与图3的机器的差别在于,型坯保持和定位件71和72在模具周缘的一半上被凹下,以容纳收拢的把手90。凹口在图18中用115指示,并且在图的右半部上看到。图的左半部表示其中没有布置把手的周缘的部分;此处没有变化。事实上,在一种变化方式中,可以设置在模具的整个周缘上凹下,从而将容器插入到模具中的精确转动方位不成为问题;无论选取什么位置都可容纳把手。
型坯被放置在吹塑成形设备的模制空腔中,使型坯借助于边沿定位,并且压力模制设备与边沿的外形大致相匹配。
吹塑模具现在如以上描述的那样准确地操作,并且本体形成部件或薄膜120扩张以形成容器的本体。如在图19中看到的那样,本体再次扩张,以接触边沿3的裙部26并因而形成箱形截面30。这不仅加强边沿3,而且它现在也保证使转轴96被限定在槽110中,并因而把手90被固定到容器1上,并且变得不能脱开。为了容纳抵靠边沿的侧面收拢的把手,容器的本体成形为具有肩部32。就是说,当从侧面看时,把手90不会突出或向外延伸得超出容器的主要本体20的整体宽度。把手以这种方式布置成不凸出,因为如果它凸出,它会引起关于容器的机械处置的问题,有碰到东西的倾向。
成品容器在图20(a)和(b)中示出。图20在(a)处示出立体图,所示的把手90收拢成抵靠边沿3的侧面妥帖地配合。在这种条件下,容器可容易地由例如填充机器处置。材料假定是透明的,从而在图中可看到肋29。在图20中的(b)处示出的把手在其操作或伸出位置中,图20中的(b)也表示容器本体20的肩部32如何保证即使当把手延伸时也落在贯穿容器的尺寸范围内。
容器优选地设有盖(未表示),该盖与边沿3的上部表面相匹配。盖密封地接合容器的边沿,优选地包括两个密封元件,一个密封元件在顶部上,而另一个密封元件在盖部分的侧面上以接合边沿。可以在盖的侧面处设置垂片,以有助于盖的取下。盖也可被注射模制,并且可例如基于在国际专利申请WO00/46118中描述的盖。
较容易的是运送没有突出把手的罐,因为在高速产品处置和运送设备上没有东西被碰到。该设计显著地降低容器被损坏并且必须丢弃的可能性。在涉及油漆罐的场合,这对于油漆公司招致显著的成本,因为不仅必须废弃加标签的罐、盖、及把手,而且必须人工放空罐和安全地处置内部的油漆。本发明示出的把手可在自动机械上以高速安全地运送。
如以上描述的那样,通过吹制具有肩部32的罐,可形成凹口,典型地由塑料材料制成的把手可以被约束在该凹口中,如果罐是圆形的,则该把手不突出超越罐的最大直径。吹制罐不必是圆筒形的,而是可以是诸如方形的其它形状,在这种情况下,把手不突出超越跨过罐本体的尺寸,该尺寸是其幅度、宽度或甚至高度。
把手锁闩
以上描述的方法有助于实现其中把手90在容器上的一个或多个枢转位置中可锁闩的构造,例如以帮助使用者从容器倾注。现在将参照余下的图22至25对此加以说明,在这些图中,图22-23表示第一构造,图24示出第二构造,图25示出第三可行构造。应该首先注意,在这些图中示出的锁闩构造如期望地与在以前图中描述的制造方法一道使用,但可选择地,可以独立于所述方法而被使用,并且容器可以由已知或常规过程制造(除为了提供锁闩要求的特殊特征之外)。
图22表示四个视图(a)至(d),这些视图的(a)是从侧面看到的罐边沿的细节,(b)表示把手的端部,(c)是穿过边沿和把手端部的截面,及(d)是边沿的较近视图,更清楚地表示定位器。裙部26形成边沿的外部凸缘部分,该部分在把手端部的区域中大体与把手的枢转轴线相垂直。裙部在其外部正面上携带两个槽口150和152,这两个槽口对于由敞开键孔孔径114限定(这里)的枢转轴线是径向的,该敞开键孔孔径114接纳把手90的相邻端部。把手的内部表面或下侧携带沿把手内部延伸短距离的凸棱或肋154,从而它可选择性地锁闩和被接纳在槽口150和152的任一个中。第一槽口150当罐直立时是竖向的,即与罐的嘴口的平面相垂直,这将把手保持在正常携带位置中。第二槽口152相对于竖向成45度的角度,从而把手可被锁闩在方便的倾注位置中。在图23的侧视图中可看到这两个把手位置以及向下收拢或嵌套位置。
图24表示一种变化方式,在这种变化方式中,凸棱由在把手的盘94上的四个凸棱160代替。裙部具有这里表示成相隔45度而排列的多个对应槽口162,这些槽口162允许把手采纳各种所需位置。可选择地,凸棱或槽口可布置在裙部内在裙部的内部正面和相对部分98上,该相对部分98终止转轴96。
另一种可行的锁闩构造在图25中示出,其中盘94的周缘具有绕枢转轴线的部分多边形形状,并且具有多个平坦部分170。这些平坦部分对于竖向成0、45及90度,并且通过与边沿3的凸缘28的下侧相接合而用于将把手锁定在这些角度处。
在这些构造的每一种中,定位器可以调换位置,从而在把手上表示的部分实际上在边沿上,并且反之亦然。
偏置把手
容器1′表示在图26中,该容器1′具有偏置把手90′。这个容器由与以上描述的方法相类似的方法制成。然而,如在图26中的(a)处表示的那样,把手的相对端部不是径向相对的,而是绕容器1′的边沿间隔开小于180度的角度θ。在所示的例子中,该角度在160至175度的范围中,尽管可以采用小于175度且优选地大于90度的其它角度。把手被表示在图26中的(a)、(b)及(c)处的三个位置中。如在(c)处看到的那样,把手间隔开,从而绕边沿的较长部分延伸,即在角度360-θ上。当枢转到一侧时,把手合适地抵靠边沿配合,如在(c)处,而当如在(a)处看到的那样在其它方向上枢转时,把手在下面并且避开边沿抵靠容器的侧面休止。竖直直立位置表示在(b)处。
在(e)处示出穿过容器的截面,从中可以看到在容器底部中具有凹口180。这个凹口比在图20中表示的凹口稍大,并且允许使用者在用一只手握住把手90′的同时用另一只手握住在区域A中的容器底部,并且对于当从容器倾注时的控制提供改进。
进一步评论
以上有关两阶段工艺描述的方法可应用于由单阶段工艺制成的罐。两阶段生产的确具有一定优点。按定义,油漆罐的两阶段生产是指,型坯的注射模制、和罐的再加热吹塑成形是完全分离的操作。与重新吹塑成形过程相比,注射模制过程就机械的大小和复杂性、要求辅助服务的规模、及机器操作人员的要求技巧水平而论有较多技术要求,并且较容易有助于自动化。因而,两阶段罐生产的显著优点是,有可能建立中心专用的注射模制设施,并且使罐被运输到用于最后吹制的几个吹塑成形设施。在罐被运输时,它们占据的空间大大减小。
另一个优点是,随着空腔数量增大,注射模制变得越来越成本有效化。然而,装有高空穴模具的非常大注射模制机是昂贵的,并且如果它们能够实际上不停止地运行才可能合算;唯一可行的情形是,中心注射模制设施供给多个卫星吹制操作。
整体把手被描述成在型坯被吹制之前被装配到型坯上。这可在中心设施处进行,从而在卫星吹制操作位置不必安装把手装配机械,因而降低资金成本,并且也改进填充线效率。此外,把手的装运、仓储、及处置的成本基本上不大于型坯的单独成本。
容器优选地由聚对苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)制成,对其该工艺特别适用。然而可以使用其它热塑性树脂,包括聚苯二甲酸乙酯(PEN)、还有PET和PEN混合物、及其它吹制可模制塑料,该其它吹制可模制塑料包括聚氯乙烯(PVC)、聚碳酸酯、及聚丙烯(PP)。在原理上,可以使用适于在加热时变形的任何材料,但该方法关于PET等特别便利。
PET树脂的特征在于它们的固有粘度(IV),该固有粘度是与分子链长度相关的数值(分子越长,IV越高并且机械性能越好)。已经发现,具有在0.76-0.84范围中的固有粘度的树脂对于实施本发明的容器的生产是最优选的。
容器可形成为桶、斗、或罐,并且特别适于封闭溶剂基内容存储长时间段而没有溶剂损失。它们可以具体地用作罐,特别是杠杆盖罐,用于油漆和其它涂料。容器本身制成整体元件而不需要焊接,焊接成本高并且可能不可靠。容器可精确地由PET形成,该PET要求吹塑成形,以提供对于最佳强度必需的双轴拉伸。计算机运行常规软件通常用来基于成品瓶的尺寸、要使用的特定材料的拉伸特性、及所需的材料分布,来计算型坯的尺寸。
尽管作为例子已经描述和说明了本发明的优选实施例,但对于描述的方法、设备及容器可以进行多种修改。
Claims (40)
1.一种供制造具有把手的容器之用的注射模制型坯,所述型坯由在加热时易于变形的材料制成,所述型坯包括:
形成在所述型坯的嘴口处的边沿,所述边沿具有从所述边沿的内周缘向外延伸的向外延伸部分、和在所述向外延伸部分的外端部处的悬垂裙部;
连续本体形成部分,从所述边沿的所述内周缘跨过所述型坯而延伸;及
把手,具有接纳在所述裙部中的孔径中的端部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的型坯,其中,型坯材料包括聚对苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)、聚苯二甲酸乙酯(PEN)、PET和PEN混合物、或聚丙烯(PP)。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的型坯,其中,所述边沿具有从所述边沿的内周缘向外延伸的向外延伸部分、和在所述向外延伸部分的所述外端部处的悬垂裙部,所述把手的所述端部接纳在所述裙部中的孔径中。
4.根据权利要求1、2或3所述的型坯,其中,所述边沿具有直立内部肋,所述本体形成部分悬垂在该直立内部肋上,并且所述向外延伸部分从所述直立肋向外延伸。
5.根据以上任一权利要求所述的型坯,其中,所述裙部形成有接纳所述把手的所述端部的槽。
6.根据权利要求5所述的型坯,其中,所述槽是向下敞开的。
7.根据权利要求5或6所述的型坯,其中,所述把手的所述端部设有配合所述槽的狭窄部分,并且对于任一侧具有不配合所述槽的较宽部分,从而所述狭窄部分能够滑动到所述槽中并且被保持在其中。
8.根据权利要求1至7任一项所述的型坯,其中,所述把手的所述端部在径向相对位置处被接纳在所述边沿中。
9.根据权利要求1至7任一项所述的型坯,其中,所述把手的所述端部被接纳在所述边沿中而不在径向相对位置处。
10.根据权利要求9所述的型坯,其中,所述把手的所述端部在绕所述边沿间隔开90至175度的位置处被接纳在所述边沿中。
11.根据以上任一权利要求所述的型坯,其中,所述边沿和与其相邻的所述把手的所述端部具有配合定位器构造,所述定位器构造用于将所述把手锁闩在所述容器上的多个预定枢转位置中。
12.根据权利要求11所述的型坯,其中,所述定位器构造包括沿枢转轴线的径向延伸的相对配合槽口和凸棱或肋。
13.根据权利要求11所述的型坯,其中,所述定位器构造包括绕所述把手和所述边沿中的一个上的枢转轴线的至少部分形成的多边形形状,该多边形形状与在所述把手和边沿中的另一个上的接合部分相配合。
14.根据权利要求11、12或13所述的型坯,其中,所述定位器构造在所述把手的内部表面和外凸缘部分的外正面上。
15.一种制造容器的方法,该容器具有把手,并且具有本体、和限定用于所述容器的开口的边沿,所述容器由在加热时易于变形的材料制成,所述方法包括以下步骤:
提供型坯,该型坯具有形成在其嘴口处的边沿、和从所述边沿的内周缘跨过所述型坯而延伸的连续本体形成部分;
将所述型坯放置在压力模制设备的模制空腔中,同时所述型坯借助于所述边沿定位;及
将所述本体形成部分在所述压力模制设备中向下和向外移动,从而所述本体形成部分在所述空腔中扩张以形成容器侧壁和底壁,所述本体形成部分接触所述空腔的侧面,以形成由所述空腔的内部形状限定的形状;
其特征在于如下步骤:在将所述型坯放置在所述压力模制设备的所述模制空腔中之前,将把手装配到所述型坯的所述边沿上,该把手具有分别接纳在所述边沿的不同位置处的两个相对端部,所述把手在所述边沿上是能够枢转的。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,还包括在注射模制设备中注射模制所述型坯的步骤。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其中,注射模制所述型坯的步骤和压力模制成品容器的步骤在两阶段工艺中执行。
18.根据权利要求15、16或17所述的方法,其中,所述容器材料包括聚对苯二甲酸乙酯(PET)、聚苯二甲酸乙酯(PEN)、PET和PEN混合物、或聚丙烯(PP)。
19.根据权利要求15至19任一项所述的方法,其中,所述边沿具有从所述边沿的所述内周缘向外延伸的向外延伸部分、和在所述向外延伸部分的外端部处的悬垂裙部,所述把手的所述端部接纳在所述裙部中的孔径中。
20.根据权利要求19所述的方法,其中,所述边沿具有直立内部肋,所述本体形成部分悬垂在该直立内部肋上,并且所述向外延伸部分从所述直立肋向外延伸。
21.根据权利要求19或20所述的方法,其中,所述裙部形成有接纳把手的所述端部的槽。
22.根据权利要求21所述的方法,其中,所述槽是向下敞开的。
23.根据权利要求21或22所述的方法,其中,所述把手的所述端部设有配合所述槽的狭窄部分,并且对于任一侧具有不配合所述槽的较宽部分,从而所述狭窄部分能够滑动到所述槽中并且被保持在其中。
24.根据权利要求19至23任一项所述的方法,其中,在所述压力模制设备中,所述本体被扩张成与所述裙部相接触,以形成箱形截面。
25.根据权利要求24所述的方法,其中,所述箱形截面包含所述把手并且保持所述把手以防松脱。
26.根据权利要求15至25任一项所述的方法,其中,所述压力模制设备是吹塑成形设备。
27.根据权利要求15至26任一项所述的方法,其中,移动所述本体形成部分的步骤由在所述压力模制设备中所述本体形成部分的机械拉伸来协助完成。
28.根据权利要求15至27任一项所述的方法,还包括注射模制用于所述容器的把手的步骤。
29.根据权利要求15至28任一项所述的方法,还包括为所述容器提供盖的步骤,所述盖与所述边沿的上表面相匹配。
30.根据权利要求15至29任一项所述的方法,其中,所述把手的所述端部在径向相对位置处被接纳在所述边沿中。
31.根据权利要求15至29任一项所述的方法,其中,所述把手的所述端部被接纳在所述边沿中而不在径向相对位置处。
32.根据权利要求31所述的方法,其中,所述把手的所述端部在绕所述边沿间隔开90至175度的位置处被接纳在所述边沿中。
33.根据权利要求15至32任一项所述的方法,其中,所述边沿和与其相邻的所述把手的所述端部具有配合定位器构造,所述定位器构造用于将所述把手锁闩在所述容器上的多个预定枢转位置中。
34.根据权利要求33所述的方法,其中,所述定位器构造包括沿枢转轴线的径向延伸的相对配合槽口和凸棱或肋。
35.根据权利要求33所述的方法,其中,所述定位器构造包括绕所述把手和所述边沿中的一个上的枢转轴线的至少部分形成的多边形形状,该多边形形状与在所述把手和边沿中的另一个上的接合部分相配合。
36.根据权利要求33、34或35所述的方法,其中,所述定位器构造在所述把手的内部表面和外凸缘部分的外正面上。
37.一种用来制造容器的设备,该容器具有把手,并且具有本体、和限定用于所述容器的开口的边沿,所述容器由在加热时易于变形的材料制成,所述设备包括:
压力模制设备,具有模压空腔;
用来将型坯放置在所述压力模制设备的所述模压空腔中的装置,所述型坯具有形成在其嘴口处的边沿、和从所述边沿的内周缘跨过所述型坯而延伸的连续本体形成部分,所述用来将型坯放置在所述压力模制设备的所述模压空腔中的装置使所述型坯借助于所述边沿定位,并且所述压力模制设备与所述边沿的外形大致相匹配;
在所述压力模制设备中用来使所述本体形成部分在所述压力模制设备中向下和向外运动的装置,从而所述本体形成部分在所述空腔中扩张以形成所述容器的侧壁和底壁,所述本体形成部分接触所述空腔的侧面,以形成由所述空腔的内部形状限定的形状;
其特征在于:所述压力模制设备包括围绕所述边沿的凹口,以在所述压力模制设备的操作期间容纳连结到所述边沿上的把手,所述把手具有分别接纳在围绕所述边沿的不同位置处的两个相对端部,并且在所述边沿上是能够枢转的。
38.根据权利要求37所述的设备,其中,所述压力模制设备是吹塑成形设备。
39.根据权利要求37或38所述的设备,其中,所述压力模制设备包括用于所述本体形成部分的机械拉伸的装置。
40.根据权利要求37、38或39所述的设备,还包括用来形成用于所述容器的盖的装置,所述盖与所述边沿的所述上表面相匹配。
