Abstract

Description
背景技术
在很多应用领域中都采用聚合物分散体。为了着色的目的,不仅可以使用染料而且可以使用颜料。由于较高的耐光性和耐候性,颜料在水性应用领域中是优选的。然而,在经颜料着色的体系中,出现的问题尤其在于制剂的稳定性和在基材上的或者在粘结剂中的固定,同样色彩效果和光泽不总是令人满意的。为了应对这些问题,在现有技术中为颜料提供极性涂层或通过添加剂而使颜料稳定。
例如,在JP 1999 00 040 329中描述了添加在水相容性溶剂中的自乳化性树脂。在该处理过程中,在所述颜料表面上形成聚合物膜,其简化了所述颜料在水性体系中的分散。
在JP 2000 239 392中描述了聚氨酯/丙烯酸酯分散体的应用。将这种聚合物分散体加入到颜料分散体中同样导致极性涂层。所述颜料在水和溶剂中是稳定的,并且显示出良好的贮存稳定性。这种产物被推荐用于涂料或墨水中。
在EP-A-1 614 721中,用由疏水性和亲水性单体和含有氨基甲酸酯基团的化合物形成的聚合物对颜料进行处理。
在EP-A-1 035 178中,描述了用于改进储存稳定性的化学表面处理,在此将炭黑颗粒的表面通过氧化而调节为更加极性,由此可用于喷墨墨水中。
稳定的分散体还可以通过加入界面活性组分而制得。
在迄今为止已经列举的方法中,稳定性和粘附性得到了优化,但光泽度却几乎没有得到改进。
蜡涂层对于颜料也是已知的,例如在US 5 298 355中。然而,这些制剂从水中施加,不产生稳定的膜。问题在于找到正确的平衡点。
界面活性物质改进了稳定性,但降低了涂层的防水性;加入聚合物改进了可分散性和粘附性,但在颜色和光泽方面可能是不利的;蜡产生希望的光泽度,但只能困难地从水中施加。
发明内容
因此,所提出的问题是制备有色的、成膜性聚合物分散体,该聚合物分散体是储存稳定的并产生良好的粘附性、光泽、色彩效果和耐候性。
已经发现,如下聚合物分散体令人惊奇地解决了这个问题。
本发明提供有色的聚合物分散体,其含有作为主要成分的:
(a)有色聚合物,其通过将单体A和单体B聚合而制得,其中
单体A是颜料P,其用可聚合的蜡D所涂覆,其中所述可聚合的官能团是烯属不饱和基团,和
单体B是烯属不饱和化合物;
(b)至少一种基于聚醚和/或聚甘油的非离子表面活性添加剂E;
(c)至少一种基于磺酸盐、硫酸盐、膦酸盐、磷酸盐或羧酸盐的阴离子表面活性添加剂F;
(d)水。
优选的聚合物分散体的特征在于:
2至60wt%,优选5至45wt%,尤其是8至35wt%的组分(a),
0.1至15wt%,优选0.1至12wt%,尤其是0.5至5wt%的组分(b),
0.1至15wt%,优选0.1至10wt%,尤其是0.5至2wt%的组分(c),
10至90wt%,优选10至70wt%,尤其是10至60wt%的水(d),
0至20wt%,优选0.01至10wt%,尤其是0.1至5wt%的常规助剂(e),
其中所述重量百分比的总和不超过100wt%。
在本发明的聚合物分散体中,所述颜料P可以是有机彩色颜料,无机彩色颜料、白色颜料、炭黑颜料或多种颜料的组合。
所述有机彩色颜料可以优选是偶氮颜料、二苯并[cd,jk]芘-5,10-二酮颜料、蒽嘧啶颜料、喹吖啶酮颜料、喹酞酮(Chinophthalon)颜料、二酮吡咯并吡咯颜料、二噁嗪颜料、阴丹酮颜料、异吲哚啉颜料、异吲哚啉酮颜料、异宜和蓝酮颜料、苝颜料、萘环酮(Perinon)颜料、酞菁颜料、皮蒽酮颜料、吡唑并喹唑酮颜料、硫靛颜料、三芳基碳鎓颜料或其组合。

作为通常用作填料的无机颜料的例子,可以提及透明二氧化硅、石英粉、氧化铝、氢氧化铝、天然云母、天然白垩和沉淀白垩和硫酸钡。
还可以考虑光泽颜料,其中该光泽颜料涉及单相或多相构造的薄片状颜料,其色彩变幻是通过干涉现象、反射现象和吸收现象的相互作用产生的。例如可被提及的有铝薄片和尤其用金属氧化物涂覆一次或多次的铝薄片、氧化铁薄片和云母薄片。
所述颜料P的平均粒子尺寸d50的值优选为50至500nm,尤其是70至200nm,更优选为70至150nm。
所述可聚合的蜡D优选是由多元醇、长链脂族羧酸和至少一种烯属不饱和羧酸形成的反应产物,该反应产物可以通过加入二元羧酸而被低聚。
作为长链脂族羧酸,可以使用所有具有多于7个碳原子的羧酸,但优选C8~C22脂肪酸和C22~C50蜡酸,其或者以纯物质的形式但或者优选以工业产物,例如椰油脂肪酸、牛油脂肪酸、向日葵酸、褐煤蜡酸、石蜡氧化物或烯烃氧化物的混合物的形式。通常将所述酸的混合物进行组合,使得所述混合物的熔点高于50℃。为了增大分子量,所述长链羧酸的混合物还可以已经掺混低比例二元羧酸,例如己二酸、十二烷二酸、褐煤蜡二羧酸。
作为多元醇,可以使用具有2至10个碳原子和2至10个OH基团的多元脂族醇,例如二醇类、丙三醇、三羟甲基丙烷、甘油、季戊四醇、糖醇、山梨醇,以及它们的内醚,例如脱水山梨醇,它们的低聚物,例如双甘油、二季戊四醇,它们的聚合物,例如聚二醇或聚甘油,或者所述多元醇的烷氧基化物。
作为烯属不饱和羧酸,可以使用例如丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、马来酸、富马酸或衣康酸,以及它们的酸酐或酯。对化学计量进行选择以使得一摩尔多元醇-脂肪酸偏酯与一摩尔所述不饱和羧酸反应。
所述可聚合的蜡D可示例性地为由季戊四醇、基于工业褐煤蜡酸的长链脂族羧酸的混合物,和丙烯酸形成的反应产物:
Rn=H、CO-Rm,Rm=褐煤蜡酸的烷基残基。
所述可聚合的蜡D可通过如下方式制备:将所述多元醇与所述长链脂族羧酸反应生成偏酯,其还可通过采用二元羧酸的酯化作用进一步反应生成聚酯蜡。然后还将烯属不饱和酸通过酯化作用连接到所述偏酯组分上,从而产生熔点为40至90℃的固体反应性产物。这种反应性化合物是已知的,可例如以名称Licomont ER 165(Clariant)商购获得。
作为单体B,使用能够与所述涂层组分D的烯属不饱和官能团反应的化合物。在这一组中特别合适的化合物是丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、丙烯酸的酯,尤其是丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸羟基烷基酯、多元醇的丙烯酸酯,甲基丙烯酸的酯,尤其是甲基丙烯酸甲酯,和羟基烷基酯和多元醇酯。同样使用苯乙烯、烷基苯乙烯和二乙烯基苯。
本发明的聚合物a)主要由如下组分组成:5至95wt%,优选20至70wt%,尤其是30至60wt%的颜料P,2.5至50wt%,优选5至40wt%,尤其是10至30wt%的与单体B反应的蜡D,和2.5至50wt%,优选5至40wt%,尤其是10至30wt%的与D反应的单体B。
作为添加剂E,本发明的聚合物分散体包含至少一种基于聚醚或聚甘油的非离子表面活性添加剂。聚醚尤其是指聚环氧烷烃或者由环氧烷烃与醇、胺、脂族羧酸或脂族羧酰胺形成的反应产物。根据本发明,在此术语“环氧烷烃”也意于指芳基取代的环氧烷烃,尤其是苯基取代的环氧乙烷。除了所述未混合的聚环氧烷烃,优选C2~C4环氧烷烃和苯基取代的C2~C4环氧烷烃,尤其是聚环氧乙烷、聚环氧丙烷和聚(苯基环氧乙烷),尤其合适的是环氧烷烃嵌段共聚物,但是还有这些环氧烷烃的统计学共聚物。在此,非常特别合适的是具有聚环氧丙烷嵌段和聚环氧乙烷嵌段,或者聚(苯基环氧乙烷)嵌段和聚环氧乙烷嵌段的嵌段共聚物。如所述未混合的聚环氧烷烃那样,它们可以通过环氧烷烃与起始剂化合物,例如饱和或不饱和脂族和芳族醇、饱和或不饱和脂族和芳族胺、饱和或不饱和脂族羧酸和羧酰胺的聚加成而获得。当使用环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷时,这些起始剂化合物可以首先与环氧乙烷反应并然后与环氧丙烷反应,或者首先与环氧丙烷反应并然后与环氧乙烷反应。通常每摩尔起始剂分子使用1至300摩尔,优选3至150摩尔环氧烷烃。在此,合适的脂族醇通常包含6至26个C原子,优选8至18个C原子,并且在结构上可以是非支化的、支化的或环状的。作为例子可以提及辛醇、壬醇、癸醇、异癸醇、十一烷醇、十二烷醇、2-丁基辛醇、十三烷醇、异十三烷醇、十四烷醇、十五烷醇、十六烷醇、2-己基癸醇、十七烷醇、十八烷醇、2-庚基十一烷醇、2-辛基癸醇、2-壬基十三烷醇、2-癸基十四烷醇、油基醇和9-十八碳烯醇,以及还有这些醇的混合物,例如C12/C10-醇、C13/C15-醇、C16/C18-醇,和环戊醇和环己醇。特别令人感兴趣的是饱和及不饱和的脂肪醇,其通过脂肪裂解和还原从天然原料获得,并且所述合成脂肪醇得自羰基合成。这些醇的环氧烷烃加成产物通常具有200至5000,特别是400至2000的平均分子量Mn。
作为上述芳族醇的例子,除了α-和β-萘酚及其烷基衍生物外,还可特别提及苯酚及其烷基衍生物,例如己基苯酚、庚基苯酚、辛基苯酚、壬基苯酚、异壬基苯酚、十一烷基苯酚、十二烷基苯酚、二和三丁基苯酚和二壬基苯酚。
合适的脂族胺对应于如上列举的脂肪醇。在此特别重要的还在于具有优选14至20个C原子的饱和和不饱和脂肪胺。作为芳族胺的例子可以提及苯胺及其衍生物。合适的脂族羧酸特别是包含优选14至20个C原子的饱和和不饱和脂肪酸,和氢化的、部分氢化的和未氢化的树脂酸,以及多元羧酸,例如二元羧酸,如马来酸。
合适的羧酰胺衍生于这些羧酸。
除了这些一元胺和醇的环氧烷烃加成产物之外,至少双官能的胺和醇的环氧烷烃加成物也是非常令人感兴趣的。
作为至少双官能的胺,优选二元至五元胺,其尤其符合式H2N-(R-NR1)n-H(R:亚烷基;R1:氢或C1~C6烷基;n:1至5)。具体地,可以提及例如:乙二胺、二亚乙基三胺、三亚乙基四胺、四亚乙基五胺、1,3-丙二胺、二亚丙基三胺、3-氨基-1-亚乙基氨基丙烷、六亚甲基二胺、双六亚甲基三胺、1,6-双(3-氨基丙基氨基)己烷和N-甲基二亚丙基三胺,其中特别优选六亚甲基二胺和二亚乙基三胺,和非常特别优选乙二胺。这些胺优选首先与环氧丙烷反应和然后与环氧乙烷反应。所述嵌段共聚物的环氧乙烷含量通常为约10至90wt%。基于多元胺的嵌段共聚物的平均分子量Mn通常为1000至40000,优选1500至30000。
作为至少双官能的醇,优选二元至五元醇。例如可以提及C2~C3亚烷基二醇和相应的二和多亚烷基二醇,例如乙二醇、1,2-和1,3-丙二醇,1,2-和1,4-丁二醇,1,6-己二醇,二丙二醇和聚乙二醇,甘油和季戊四醇,其中特别优选乙二醇和聚乙二醇,和非常特别优选丙二醇和二丙二醇。
特别优选至少双官能的醇的环氧烷烃加成产物具有中心的聚环氧丙烷嵌段,即由丙二醇或聚丙二醇开始,将其首先与另外的环氧丙烷反应和然后与环氧乙烷反应。所述嵌段共聚物的环氧乙烷含量典型地为10wt%至90wt%。基于多元醇的嵌段共聚物通常具有1000至20000,优选1000至15000的平均分子量Mn。
取决于其中要使用本发明的颜料制剂的应用介质,选择具有不同HLB值(亲水-亲油平衡)的环氧烷烃嵌段共聚物。
例如,为了用于水性、水性/醇性和醇性体系,优选具有HLB值为约10的环氧烷烃嵌段共聚物,这对应于在所述共聚物中环氧乙烷比例通常为25wt%。
所述聚甘油特别是指脂肪酸的甘油酯,如聚甘油多蓖麻油酸酯。
作为添加剂F,本发明的聚合物分散体含有至少一种基于磺酸盐、硫酸盐、羧酸盐、膦酸盐或磷酸盐的阴离子表面活性添加剂。合适的磺酸盐的实例是芳族磺酸盐,例如对C3~C9烷基苯磺酸盐,二(C1~C8烷基)萘磺酸盐,和萘磺酸与甲醛的缩合产物,以及脂族磺酸盐,如C13~C18链烷磺酸盐,α-磺基-脂肪酸-C2~C8烷基酯,磺基琥珀酸酯,和烷氧基-、酰氧基-和酰氨基链烷-磺酸盐。
优选烷基磺酸盐,其中特别优选二(C1~C8烷基)萘磺酸盐。非常特别优选二异丁基-和二异丙基萘-磺酸盐。合适的硫酸盐的实例是C8~C11烷基硫酸盐。
阴离子添加剂的另外的重要组由被称作非离子添加剂的聚醚的磺酸盐、硫酸盐、膦酸盐和磷酸盐组成。这些可以通过与磷酸、五氧化磷和膦酸或硫酸和磺酸的反应而被转化成膦酸单酯或二酯和膦酸酯,或者转化成硫酸单酯和磺酸酯。这些酸性酯,如上文所述的磺酸盐和硫酸盐那样,优选以水溶性盐的形式,尤其是作为碱金属盐,特别是钠盐和铵盐存在,但也可以以游离酸的形式使用。优选的磷酸盐和膦酸盐尤其衍生自烷氧基化的,尤其是乙氧基化的,脂肪醇和羰基合成醇,烷基酚、硬脂基(Steryl)酚、脂肪胺、脂肪酸和树脂酸;优选的硫酸盐和磺酸盐尤其基于烷氧基化的,特别是乙氧基化的脂肪醇、烷基酚和胺,还有多元胺,如六亚甲基二胺。
这种类型的阴离子表面活性添加剂是已知的并且可以例如以名称(BASF)、(BASF)、(Croda)、(Rhodia)、(BASF)、(Cognis)、(Albright& Wilson)、(ICI)、(Rhodia)、(BASF)和Dispersogen(Clariant)商购获得。
通常的助剂(e)的例子是防腐剂、pH调节剂、增稠剂、助留剂和消泡剂。
可使用多种方法制备本发明的聚合物分散体:
方法1的特征在于,将所述颜料P在水性悬浮液中与所述组分b)和c)的至少一部分一起在剪切力的作用下进行细分,将如此制备的颜料分散体与所述可聚合的蜡D,任选地单体B的一部分,和任选在加入另外的组分b)和/或c)的情况下,在高于D的软化点的温度下进行均化,将由水、单体B和任选地另外的组分b)和/或c)形成的混合物掺入到如此制备的经涂覆的颜料分散体中,并进行聚合。
为了聚合,任选加入通常的聚合引发剂,使该混合物达到70至90℃的温度,并任选将另外的单体B计量加入。
方法2的特征在于,由所述熔融的可聚合的蜡D、所述组分b)和c)制备微乳液,然后将该微乳液与颜料P的水性悬浮液一起在剪切力的作用下进行细分,向如此制备的经涂覆的颜料分散体中掺混由水、单体B和任选地另外的组分b)和/或c)形成的混合物,并进行聚合。
为了聚合,任选加入通常的聚合引发剂,使该混合物达到70至90℃的温度,和任选将另外的单体B计量加入。
在方法1的优选的实施方案中,首先将所述颜料在水性悬浮液中与添加剂E和F的至少一部分进行湿法粉碎。将如此制备的颜料分散体与液态蜡D、任选地单体B的一部分和另外的添加剂E和F在高于所述蜡的熔点的温度下进行分散。为了分散,可以使用具有简单搅拌设备组的开口容器,但也可以使用例如在漆制备中已知的那些分散器,高压均化器或其它压力混合室方法(漩涡)。在这种处理的过程中,所述液态蜡铺展到所述颜料上,所述涂覆的颗粒通过添加剂E和F稳定化。结果形成经涂覆的颜料分散体。
在聚合反应器中预先加入水和选自添加剂F的乳化剂和一部分单体B,并将其加热到约70至80℃,然后加入引发剂,并将该混合物加热到75至90℃。在开始反应后,将剩余的单体B计量加入。然后将上述的经涂覆的颜料分散体计量加入到所述反应混合物中。在加入之后,还可以将另外的单体B计量加入。在反应后,将产物冷却,将pH值调节至中性,并加入防腐剂。
在方法2的优选的实施方案中,首先由熔融的蜡D和选自E和F的添加剂制备微乳液,然后在冷却之后向该微乳液中掺混另外的添加剂E和F,并与所述颜料的水性悬浮液一起进行湿法粉碎。在该方法的过程中,将所述蜡研磨到所述颜料颗粒上。结果形成经涂覆的颜料分散体。在聚合反应器中预先加入水和选自添加剂F的乳化剂和单体B的一部分,并将其加热到约70至80℃,然后加入引发剂,并加热到75至90℃。在开始反应后,将剩余的单体B计量加入。然后将上述经涂覆的颜料分散体计量加入到所述反应混合物中。在加入之后,还可以将另外的单体B计量加入。在反应后,将产物冷却,将pH值调节至中性,并加入防腐剂。
作为引发剂,可以使用无机或有机自由基产生剂。优选使用水溶性无机引发剂,例如过氧二硫酸铵或过氧二硫酸钠,有机引发剂如AIBN或有机过氧化物同样是合适的。在过氧二硫酸盐作为引发剂的情况下,对于所述反应,约80℃的温度是最优的,在有机过氧化物的情况下,使温度适应所述引发剂的最优情况。
在这两种方法中均导致形成如下聚合物分散体,其中所述颜料颗粒通过良好粘附性固体蜡层而化学结合入到所述聚合物中,和其中所述颗粒通过添加剂E和F而稳定化。
如此制备的聚合物分散体与通常的水基的涂料或墨水是良好相容的。因此它们可以作为着色组分在高的颜料含量下加入。但是,视所述聚合物混合物的所调节的成膜温度而定,它们还可以直接用于形成涂层,或者可以用水和助剂稀释而在各种印刷方法中用作墨水。
因此,本发明还提供本发明的聚合物分散体用于将水性涂料、清漆、乳胶漆、印刷油墨和墨水,尤其是喷墨墨水着色的用途,优选用于将纸张、木材和皮革着色的用途。
也可以通过除去溶剂和干燥,例如喷雾干燥,由本发明的分散体制备有色聚合物颗粒。
因此本发明还提供有色聚合物颗粒,其主要由如下组分组成:5至95wt%的颜料和经聚合的涂层,其通过将2.5至50wt%的可聚合的蜡D(其中所述可聚合的官能团是烯属不饱和基团)与2.5至50wt%的具有能够与D的烯属不饱和基团反应的官能团的单体B聚合而制得的,其中所述重量百分比在每种情况下都基于所述经涂覆的颜料颗粒的总重量计,并且所述重量百分比的总和不超过100wt%,且其中所述可聚合的蜡D是由多元醇、长链脂族羧酸和至少一种烯属不饱和羧酸形成的反应产物,该反应产物可以通过添加二元羧酸而被低聚。
取决于后处理和干燥的方式,在所述有色聚合物颗粒上还可以存在0至20wt%的非离子添加剂b)和/或阴离子添加剂c)以及另外通常的助剂,例如防腐剂。
本发明的聚合物颗粒作为着色剂,尤其用在粉末涂料、UV固化性清漆、电子照相调色剂和显影剂中,用在喷墨墨水中,尤其是水性和非水性基础的那些,用在微乳液墨水中和在热熔喷墨墨水中。
微乳液墨水基于有机溶剂、水和任选额外的助水溶性物质(界面介质)。微乳液墨水通常包含0.5至30wt%,优选1至15wt%的本发明的聚合物颗粒,5至99wt%的水,和0.5至94.5wt%的有机溶剂和/或助水溶性化合物。
“溶剂基”喷墨墨水优选包含0.5至30wt%的本发明的聚合物颗粒,85至99.5wt%的有机溶剂和/或助水溶性化合物。
热熔性墨水多数基于蜡、脂肪酸、脂肪醇或磺酰胺,其在室温下是固体,而在加热时变成液体,其中优选的熔融范围为约60℃至约140℃。热熔性喷墨墨水例如主要由如下组分组成:20至90wt%的蜡和1至10wt%的本发明的聚合物颗粒。另外还可以存在0至20wt%的额外的聚合物,最高至5wt%的分散助剂,0至20wt%的粘度调节剂,0至20wt%的增塑剂,0至10wt%的粘性添加剂,0至10wt%的透明性稳定剂(防止例如所述蜡的结晶)以及0至2wt%的抗氧化剂。
在所述喷墨墨水中,本发明的聚合物颗粒还可以用其它着色剂配色,所述其它着色剂例如是有机或无机颜料和/或染料。在这种情况下,它们在墨组中使用,所述墨组由黄色、品红色、青色和黑色墨水组成,所述墨水包括颜料和/或染料作为着色剂。此外,它们还可以在墨组中使用,所述墨组额外地包含一种或多种例如以橙色、绿色、蓝色、金色和银色的颜色的所谓的“印刷专色”。

本发明的聚合物颗粒适合用于制备用于所有常规喷墨打印机的墨水,特别是用于基于气泡式喷墨方法或压电方法的那些。
本发明的聚合物颗粒也适合于作为着色剂用于电子照相调色剂和显影剂,例如单组分或双组分粉末调色剂(也称作单组分或双组分显影剂)、磁性调色剂、液体调色剂、聚合调色剂和特种调色剂。典型的调色剂粘结剂是加成聚合树脂,聚加成树脂和缩聚树脂,例如苯乙烯-、苯乙烯丙烯酸酯-、苯乙烯丁二烯-、丙烯酸酯-、聚酯-、苯酚-环氧树脂,聚砜,聚氨酯,单独地或组合地,以及聚乙烯和聚丙烯,它们还可以包含另外的成分,例如电荷控制剂、蜡或流动助剂,或者随后用这些添加剂进行改性。
此外,本发明的聚合物颗粒适合于作为着色剂用于粉末和粉末涂料中,尤其是用于摩擦电学或动电学可喷涂的粉末涂料中,所述粉末涂料可用于如下制品的表面涂覆,所述制品由例如金属、木材、塑料、玻璃、陶瓷、混凝土、皮革、纺织品材料、纸张或橡胶制成。
具体实施方式
实施例1至10的通用操作规程(方法1):
(a)颜料分散体的制备:
将粉末或者滤饼形式的颜料与分散剂、有机溶剂和其它添加剂一起在去离子水中调成糊状,并然后将该糊状物用溶解器或其它合适的装置均化和预分散。随后借助于珠磨机(例如用得自Netzsch公司的MiniZETA03)或其它合适的分散设备组进行细分散,其中在冷却下进行研磨直到获得颜料颗粒的希望的粒子尺寸分布。之后将该分散体用去离子水调节至所期望的最终颜料浓度。
(b)涂蜡的颜料分散体的制备:
将可聚合的蜡D(例如具有SZ:10.0的Licomont ER 165)在缓慢的搅拌下在约120℃的温度下在玻璃容器中熔融。
将非离子表面活性剂(Niotensid,添加剂E)和阴离子表面活性剂(添加剂F)在第二个容器中在90℃下在溶剂(例如1,2-丙二醇)中溶解,并向该溶液中掺混KOH。
将在此形成的乳化剂混合物在强烈的搅拌下在约100~120℃下搅拌加入到所述蜡熔体中。
将在此形成的熔体缓慢倾倒入温度达到约90℃的颜料分散体(a)中,并将混合物在该温度下进一步搅拌短时间。随后加入另外的添加剂(例如防腐剂)。
(c)与单体B的聚合:
将水、阴离子表面活性剂(经中和的)和15%的单体混合物B1加入到反应器中并加热至约75℃。将过氧二硫酸铵在去离子水中溶解并加入到该反应混合物中。将所述混合物加热至80℃。在反应开始后,将剩余的单体混合物B1在1h内计量加入到所述反应器中。之后,在30至45分钟内,将得自(b)的涂蜡的颜料分散体在高于78℃的温度下掺入。随后,在80℃下计量加入单体混合物B2,并在该温度下搅拌2h。将未反应的单体蒸馏除去,并将反应混合物冷却至低于35℃。加入抗坏血酸和H2O2,将该混合物搅拌30分钟,加入防腐剂,将pH值通过加入KOH调节到7。之后通过50μm过滤器进行过滤。

实施例12至19的通用操作规程(方法2):
(a)颜料分散体的制备:
类似于方法1中所描述的操作步骤。
(b)微乳液的制备:
为了制备蜡微乳液,将熔融形式的可聚合的蜡D搅拌加入到高于所述蜡D的熔点温度的所述非离子和阴离子表面活性剂的水溶液中,并且任选地进行分散,其中形成水包油乳液。
(c)涂蜡的颜料分散体的制备:
向在(b)中所制备的微乳液中掺混剩余的非离子和阴离子表面活性剂,并将在(a)中所制备的颜料分散体计量加入。借助于研磨或分散设备组将所述蜡研磨到所述颜料颗粒上。
(d)聚合物分散体的制备:
类似于在方法1中描述的操作步骤。
根据方法2的操作步骤制备在实施例1至8中所描述的聚合物分散体:实施例12至19。
应用实施例:
(A)印刷墨水:
将本发明的聚合物分散体以及作为比较将相应的标准分散体(上述步骤a)掺入到印刷墨水中。只有在本发明的聚合物分散体的情况下,能够避免所述油墨穿透纸张。所形成的图像有光泽并且具有防水性。用所述标准分散体形成的图像是不防水的并且几乎不显示光泽。
(B)液体清漆和乳胶漆:
将本发明的聚合物分散体以及作为比较将相应的标准分散体(a)掺入到清漆和乳胶漆中。采用本发明的聚合物分散体的色漆涂层比用所述标准分散体的色漆涂层显著更防水。
(C)粉末涂料:
将本发明的聚合物分散体以及作为比较将相应的标准分散体(a)喷雾干燥并且掺入到粉末涂料中。
在本发明的粉末涂料的情况下,与在标准粉末涂料的情况下相比,给色量更高且在烘烤后在基质中的化学固定显著更好。
Claims (14)
1.有色聚合物分散体,其含有作为主要成分的:
(a)有色聚合物,其通过将单体A和单体B聚合而制得,其中
单体A是颜料P,其用可聚合的蜡D涂覆,在所述蜡D中可聚合的官能团是烯属不饱和基团,且
单体B是烯属不饱和化合物;
(b)至少一种基于聚醚和/或聚甘油的非离子表面活性添加剂E;
(c)至少一种基于磺酸盐、硫酸盐、膦酸盐、磷酸盐或羧酸盐的阴离子表面活性添加剂F;
(d)水。
2.根据权利要求1所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,
2至60wt%的组分(a),
0.1至15wt%的组分(b),
0.1至15wt%的组分(c),
10至90wt%的水,
0至20wt%的常规助剂,
其中所述重量百分比的总和不超过100wt%。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,所述颜料P是有机彩色颜料、无机彩色颜料、白色颜料、炭黑颜料或多种颜料的组合。
4.根据权利要求1至3中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,所述颜料P是偶氮颜料、二苯并[cd,jk]芘-5,10-二酮颜料、蒽嘧啶颜料、喹吖啶酮颜料、喹酞酮颜料、二酮吡咯并吡咯颜料、二噁嗪颜料、阴丹酮颜料、异吲哚啉颜料、异吲哚啉酮颜料、异宜和蓝酮颜料、苝颜料、萘环酮颜料、酞菁颜料、皮蒽酮颜料、吡唑并喹唑酮颜料、硫靛颜料、三芳基碳鎓颜料或其组合。
5.根据权利要求1至4中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,所述颜料P是黄色颜料、青色颜料、品红色颜料或黑色颜料。
6.根据权利要求1至5中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体,其中所述可聚合的蜡D是由多元醇、长链脂族羧酸和至少一种烯属不饱和羧酸形成的反应产物,该反应产物可以通过加入二元羧酸而被低聚。
7.根据权利要求1至6中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,所述单体B选自丙烯酸酯、甲基丙烯酸酯和乙烯基苯。
8.根据权利要求1至7中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体,其特征在于,所述有色聚合物(a)由5至95wt%的颜料P、2.5至50wt%的涂层D和2.5至50wt%的与D反应的单体B组成。
9.制备根据权利要求1至8中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体的方法,其特征在于,将颜料P在水性悬浮液中与所述组分b)和c)的至少一部分一起在剪切力的作用下进行细分,将如此制备的颜料分散体用所述可聚合的蜡D,任选地单体B的一部分,以及任选在加入另外的组分b)和/或c)的情况下,在高于D的软化点的温度下进行均化,向如此制备的经涂覆的颜料分散体中掺混由水、单体B和任选另外的组分c)和/或d)组成的混合物,并进行聚合。
10.制备根据权利要求1至8中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体的方法,其特征在于,由所述熔融的可聚合的蜡D、组分b)和c)制备微乳液,然后将该微乳液与颜料P的水性悬浮液一起在剪切力的作用下进行细分,向如此制备的经涂覆的颜料制剂中掺混由水、单体B和任选地另外的组分c)和/或d)形成的混合物,并进行聚合。
11.根据权利要求1至10中一项或多项所述的聚合物分散体用于将水性涂料、清漆、乳胶漆、印刷油墨和墨水,尤其是喷墨墨水着色,以及用于将纸张、木材和皮革着色的用途。
12.有色聚合物颗粒,其由5至95wt%的颜料和经聚合的涂层组成,所述经聚合的涂层是通过将2.5至50wt%的可聚合的蜡D与2.5至50wt%的单体B聚合而制得的,在所述可聚合的蜡D中可聚合的官能团是烯属不饱和基团,所述单体B具有能够与D的烯属不饱和基团反应的官能团,其中所述重量百分比在每种情况下都基于所述经涂覆的颜料颗粒的总重量计,并且所述所述重量百分比的总和不超过100wt%,且其中所述可聚合的蜡D是由多元醇、长链脂族羧酸和至少一种烯属不饱和羧酸形成的反应产物,该反应产物可以通过加入二元羧酸而被低聚。
13.制备根据权利要求12所述的有色聚合物颗粒的方法,其特征在于,将根据权利要求1至8中一项或多项所述的有色聚合物分散体除去溶剂并将其干燥。
14.根据权利要求12所述的聚合物颗粒用于将喷墨墨水、粉末涂料、UV固化性清漆、电子照相调色剂和显影剂着色的用途。
