2.相关领域的描述
化妆品组合物通常使用颜料作为遮蔽剂来提高组合物内在的外观和/或局部应用时赋予特定的外观。
着色的化妆品组合物常常赋予皮肤不透明的人造外观。不透明的人造外观是由颜料和皮肤之间的折射率差异引起的。颜料通常呈现出超过2的折射率。另一方面,皮肤通常呈现出约1.4至1.5的折射率。
化妆品领域中为形成较不透明的且更自然样的外观而使用的一种方法是掺入珠光剂来替代颜料。然而,珠光剂相对昂贵并且时常给皮肤提供人造的外观。因此,理想的是最小化它们的使用。
理想的是具有着色的化妆品组合物,其赋予较不透明的外观,即更加半透明的和更自然的样子。
发明概述
本发明的目的是提供较不透明且更自然样的着色化妆品组合物。

发明详述
令人惊讶地发现将存在较不透明且更自然样的着色化妆品组合物。进一步令人惊讶地发现将存在给予局部表面化妆效果的方法。
该化妆品组合物在其中含有多个胶囊化的颜料颗粒,以对于组合物本身而言和/或局部应用于局部表面时赋予颜色的视觉效应。与含有非胶囊化颜料颗粒的组合物相比较,该视觉效应较不透明且更自然的样子。
胶囊化的颜料颗粒由密封剂和密封剂内胶囊化的颜料颗粒组成。密封剂基本上覆盖了颜料颗粒的整个表面,并采取了涂盖层或涂层的形式。
胶囊化的颜料颗粒给予较不透明且更自然样的外观,因为它们与单独的颜料颗粒(没有胶囊化)具有不同的折射率。二氧化硅,密封剂中主要存在的物质,呈现出约1.4至约1.6的折射率,这与皮肤的折射率相当。
组合物在其中含有一种或多种颜料。有用的颜料包括化妆品领域中已知的任何一种。有用的颜料实例包括二氧化钛,氧化锌,氧化铁,氧化铬,铁蓝(ferric blue),碳黑,云母,锰紫,群青及其组合。颜料可以是任何形状,尽管优选球形。优选平均颗粒大小为约10微米或更小,更优选的大小为约1微米或更小。

密封剂指的是包封或胶囊化颜料的覆盖物或涂盖层。密封剂基本上防止了颜料与较大组合物之间的直接联系或接触。密封剂基本上由二氧化硅组成,尽管少量,即低于10wt%(基于总的组合物重量)的其他物质是可能的,只要保持所需的折射度,即约1.4至约1.6的折射率。
如果密封剂的平均厚度太薄,那么颗粒的一些区域可能保持暴露且非胶囊化的。如果密封剂的平均厚度太厚,将减弱颜料的颜色并且将危及皮肤的覆盖。
用来胶囊化颜料颗粒的密封剂的量在功能上是给本发明的胶囊化颜料颗粒提供近似皮肤的折射率的含量,即,约1.4至1.6的折射率。通常,所用的密封剂为约1至约20wt%,优选约3至约12wt%胶囊化颜料颗粒的总重。
因为胶囊化的颜料颗粒具有更透明且看上去更自然的外观,它们可以替代全部或部分现有技术的化妆品组合物中常常发现的较昂贵的珠光剂。
可以通过本领域已知的任何方法用二氧化硅(硅石)将颜料胶囊化。例如,溶胶-凝胶玻璃法可以用来在核心颜料颗粒上提供二氧化硅的涂层。在该方法中,在一系列水解和聚合反应中使硅石前体反应来形成胶体悬浮液,或溶胶,然后使其沉淀在颜料核心上,以在核心颜料颗粒上提供硅石的薄膜涂层。参见Brinker和Scherer,The Physicsand Chemistry of Sol-Gel Processing(1990)。还可以提及美国专利No.3,410,708;3,437,502;3,591,398;和4,199,370,其公开了通过使用含水硅酸钠和pH调节提供硅石涂层的方法,本领域通常称为溶胶-凝胶法。在此将上述的教科书和专利引入作为参考。

组合物含有足以赋予局部表面化妆/功能/医学效果(总称为化妆效果)含量的活性成分。根据所需效果的类型和活性成分的特性,可以显著地改变含量。活性成分通常的存在量为约0.001至约95wt%,更常见的存在量为约0.001至约50wt%,最常见的存在量为约0.001至约25wt%,基于局部组合物的总重。
组合物可以呈本领域已知的任何产品形式。有用的产品形式包括溶液,化妆水,糊剂,散粉,粉饼,霜剂,棒,凝胶,摩丝,面膜,珠子和发蜡。组合物可以是含水的或非含水的。组合物可以采取溶液,分散体,悬浮液或乳液的形式。乳液可以是,例如,油/水,水/油,硅氧烷/水,水/硅氧烷,蜡/水或水/蜡。
组合物可以使用各种化妆上可接受的介质或载体。有用的介质包括,但不限于,水,低级醇,多元醇,脂肪酸,脂肪醇,脂肪醚,脂肪酯,C10至C24烷烃,挥发物和非挥发物以及线性和环状硅氧烷,及其组合。
在本发明的另一个方面中,可以将组合物施用于任何局部表面来赋予其所需的化妆效果。有用的局部表面包括皮肤,头发,嘴唇和趾/指甲。可以处理所有的皮肤区域,如手和脸。可以经常和/或按照所需或所想的施用组合物。例如,可以每天一次或多次施用组合物,仅仅保持一天,一周或更长,或两周或更长。
