Abstract
一种自行车用曲柄的制造方法及由该方法制造的自行车用曲柄,所述方法是通过粘合剂接合构成部件之间的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,所述方法包括下述工序:对应于粘合剂的存在区域,以线状或点状涂布粘合剂的工序;和对应于粘合剂的存在区域配置布帛的工序;和将以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展的工序;和通过扩展的粘合剂接合构成部件之间的工序。通过粘合剂接合构成部件之间制造自行车用曲柄时,能简单且精度好、具有良好再现性地涂布粘合剂,并能抑制涂布状态和粘合剂使用量的不均,从而抑制质量上的不均。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及自行车用曲柄(crank)及其制造方法,特别涉及通过存在于构成部件之间的粘合剂接合构成部件得到的自行车用曲柄及其制造方法。
背景技术
自行车用曲柄大多由具有曲面部和直壁部的较复杂的三维形状的部件构成,作为用于轻质化等的部件的材质,使用纤维增强塑料(以下简称为FRP)时,许多情况下通过粘合剂接合FRP制部件之间或FRP制部件和其他材质的部件的构成部件之间。目前,通过粘合剂接合构成部件之间时,例如对一个部件的接合部涂布粘合剂,在该部件上重合另一个部件进行组装,通过存在于其间的粘合剂来接合构成部件之间。
如上所述,由于作为粘合剂的涂布对象的构成部件具有曲面部和直壁部,且具有比较复杂的三维形状,所以通常通过人工来涂布粘合剂。由于通过人工涂布粘合剂,所以或多或少发生涂布状态不均或粘合剂使用量(涂布量)不均,并有可能产生接合强度等质量方面的不均或制品重量不均。虽然也考虑使用机器人来涂布粘合剂,但实际上很多情况下难以在复杂的曲面部或根切(under cut)部等进行所希望的涂布,即使能涂布,该粘合机器人也是非常昂贵的设备。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种自行车用曲柄的制造方法及由该方法制造的自行车用曲柄,所述方法在通过粘合剂接合构成部件之间来制造自行车用曲柄时,能以所希望的状态简单且精度好、具有良好再现性地在规定的部位涂布粘合剂,能抑制涂布状态和粘合剂使用量不均的发生,并能抑制接合强度等质量方面不均的发生。
为了实现上述目的,本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法是通过存在于构成部件间的粘合剂来接合自行车用曲柄的构成部件之间的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括下述工序:对应于粘合剂的存在区域,以线状或点状涂布粘合剂的工序;和对应于粘合剂的存在区域配置布帛的工序;和将以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展的工序;和通过扩展在布帛中的粘合剂接合构成部件之间的工序,其中,跨过所述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘的两侧延伸地配置所述布帛,在与所述边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延长存在区域,使从接合部溢出的粘合剂固化成条状。
即,本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法中,在构成部件之间的接合区域(也就是粘合剂的存在区域)配置布帛,粘合剂并没有涂布在该存在区域的整个区域,而是对应于存在区域,首先以线状或点状涂布,将该以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展,在需要的规定接合区域的实质整个区域扩展,通过扩展在该布帛中的粘合剂来接合构成部件之间。由于最初涂布的粘合剂本身可以仅以线状或点状涂布,所以即使是被涂布构成部件具有曲面部和直壁部、且具有比较复杂的三维形状,也能简单地进行所希望的涂布。通过将该以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展,能有效地形成接合构成部件之间所需的粘合剂层。此处,本发明的“粘合剂在布帛中扩展”的概念包括向布帛中渗透的含义,不仅表示以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂沿着布帛面的方向扩展的状态,还表示向布帛的厚度方向,例如渗入至与粘合剂涂布面相反侧的面的状态。因此,即使仅在布帛的单面以线状或点状涂布粘合剂,也能通过将该粘合剂在布帛中扩展,使粘合剂在实质上应该存在规定的粘合剂的整个区域,以涂布面侧和非涂布面侧无区别的状态存在于布帛中、布帛两面,通过如上所述扩展在布帛中的粘合剂,能够确实且极良好地接合构成部件之间。也就是说,粘合剂通过布帛以所希望的状态简单且精度良好地扩展至应该存在规定的粘合剂的区域,并且作为存在的布帛,使用适当种类的布帛,由此以良好的再现性使粘合剂以所希望的状态存在,通过该粘 合剂层良好地接合构成部件之间。另外,通过布帛使粘合剂扩展的区域限于所需的规定接合区域,同时利用存在的布帛的厚度,抑制粘合剂层的厚度不均,所以也能抑制粘合剂使用量的不均。
上述本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法中,作为上述布帛,例如优选使用无纺布。使用的无纺布的种类或厚度、单位面积重量等优选为粘合剂容易在上述布帛中扩展的范围,特别优选具有能容易且确实地渗透至非涂布面侧的性能的范围。
另外,以线状或点状涂布粘合剂的工序及以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展的工序例如可以如下所述实施。即,可以以线状或点状在布帛上涂布粘合剂后,对应于上述粘合剂的存在区域配置涂布有粘合剂的布帛,将粘合剂在配置的布帛中扩展。或者,也可以以线状或点状在至少一个构成部件上涂布粘合剂后,对应涂布有粘合剂的构成部件的上述粘合剂的存在区域配置布帛,将粘合剂在配置的布帛中扩展。也就是说,粘合剂的线状或点状涂布可以在布帛上进行,也可以在构成部件上进行。
以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展的工序可以利用将上述构成部件之间组装为规定的位置关系的操作来进行,利用组装时施加在形成于该构成部件间的间隙的夹紧力,能使以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展。由于组装操作和粘合剂的展开操作同时进行,所以能简化接合作业,缩短接合时间。
上述本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法适合于至少一个构成部件由FRP形成的情形。FRP制部件中,由于较少使用通常的机械接合方法,所以通过如上所述存在最佳状态的粘合剂层,能以满足目标接合强度等的目标质量良好地接合构成部件之间。
本发明的曲柄的结构只要是构成部件之间通过粘合剂接合的曲柄的结构,就没有特别限定。例如,本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法为包括接合具有C形剖面的构成部件之间的工序的方法,或包括形成(用于形成)具有中空部的剖面的构成部件之间的接合工序的方法。后者的情况下,也可以是在本发明的通过扩展在布帛中的粘合剂接合的构成部件中包含配置在上述中空部内的块状部件的形态。块状部件例如由铝制 部件构成。例如,可以是通过扩展在布帛中的粘合剂接合具有C形剖面的FRP制构成部件之间,被接合的两构成部件中形成中空部,在该中空部内配置铝制块状部件,该块状部件与任一个FRP制构成部件或两个构成部件通过扩展在布帛中的粘合剂接合的形态。另外,使用铝制部件时,通过使用上述布帛,也能期待被该布帛覆盖的铝表面的防电腐蚀效果。
另外,本发明的自行车用曲柄的制造方法中,优选相对于上述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘,跨过该边缘的两侧延伸地配置上述布帛。如果如上所述配置布帛,则以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展时,能扩展至由构成部件之间的接合区域(接合部)溢出的位置,即从上述粘合剂的存在区域(应该存在的区域)的边缘少量溢出的位置。在该溢出位置,粘合剂不束缚在构成部件间的间隙中,并向布帛的厚度方向释放,且在该状态下,即使在为了固化进行加热而粘度降低的情况下,也能保持在存在于其中的布帛(例如无纺布)中,所以形成沿着上述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘成条(bead)状延伸的形态,并在该状态下固化。这样的与构成部件之间的接合部邻接、沿着构成部件之间的接合区域的边缘成条状固化的粘合剂部分(粘合条),特别是在构成部件之间的接合区域沿着接合面的方向的拉伸剪切力(shear)发生作用时,可以发挥缓和剪切应力的功能(剪力滞效应(shear lag)、提高构成部件之间的粘合强度、特别是耐拉伸剪切性。
本发明的自行车用曲柄由上述制造方法而制造出,是通过存在于接合部的粘合剂接合构成部件之间而形成的自行车用曲柄,其特征在于,在所述接合部存在所述粘合剂,同时还存在布帛,该粘合剂优选以线状或点状被赋予的状态开始,然后以扩展到布帛中的状态被固化,其中,跨过所述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘的两侧延伸地配置所述布帛,在与所述边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延长存在区域,使从接合部溢出的粘合剂固化成条状。
在该自行车用曲柄中,上述布帛例如由无纺布构成,至少一个构成部件由FRP形成。
另外,本发明的自行车用曲柄例如包括:接合具有C形剖面的构成部件之间得到的曲柄;接合形成具有中空部的剖面的构成部件之间得到的曲柄。形成中空部时,可以为下述构成:通过以扩展在上述布帛中的状态固化的粘合剂接合的构成部件包括配置在中空部内的块状部件。作为块状部件,例如可以使用铝制部件。
本发明的自行车用曲柄例如可以为下述构成:相对于粘合剂的存在区域的边缘,跨过该边缘的两侧延伸地配置上述布帛,在与该边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延长存在区域,从接合部溢出的粘合剂被固化为条状。被固化为条状的粘合剂部分(粘合条)可以发挥上述剪力滞效应,从而能提高构成部件之间的粘合强度、特别是耐拉伸剪切性。
根据本发明的自行车用曲柄及其制造方法,在构成部件之间的接合部存在布帛,将粘合剂以线状或点状的简化涂布状态向为了接合的所希望的涂布区域扩展,通过该粘合剂能接合构成部件之间,所以能提供质量优异的自行车用曲柄,所述自行车用曲柄能以所希望的状态简单地、精度良好地、具有良好再现性地将粘合剂涂布在目标规定部位,能抑制涂布状态和粘合剂使用量不均的发生,并抑制了接合强度等的不均和制品重量不均的发生。

具体实施方式
以下,参见附图说明本发明的优选实施方案。
图1~图5表示本发明的一实施方案的自行车用曲柄的结构及其制造方法。需要说明的是,图1~图5表示本发明的例子,特别是针对构成部件的形状或材质等,并不限定于实施方案所给出的例子。图1中,本实施方案的自行车用曲柄1有下述部件作为构成部件:被相互嵌合并接合的能形成具有中空部的剖面的第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3,所述第1外壳部件2具有C形剖面;和芯部件4,所述芯部件4配置在由第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3通过嵌合·接合形成的中空部内的一端侧,由具有成放射状延伸的部位的较复杂的星形三维形状的铝制 块状部件形成;和端部芯部件5,所述端部芯部件5配置在第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3通过嵌合·接合形成的中空部内的另一端侧,由较简单的厚壁板状形状的铝制块状部件形成。本实施方案中,第1外壳部件2及第2外壳部件3由FRP制构成部件、例如碳纤维增强塑料制构成部件形成。上述构成部件2~5通过存在于构成部件间的粘合剂被接合,由此制造自行车用曲柄1。
对于用该粘合剂进行的接合,本实施方案如下:在第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3的接合及第1外壳部件2和芯部件4的接合中,在布帛6(例如由无纺布形成的布帛)中沿着第1外壳部件2和芯部件4的形状以线状涂布粘合剂7,该粘合剂7如下面所述扩展在布帛6中,用于接合。另外,在第1外壳部件2和端部芯部件5的接合中使用下述粘合剂:以点状涂布在布帛6上,如下面所述在布帛6中扩展的粘合剂8;以线状涂布在布帛6上,如下面所述在布帛6中扩展的粘合剂9;及以点状涂布在端部芯部件5的一面,如下面所述在布帛6中扩展的粘合剂10。在布帛6上,在构成部件之间的接合前,在平面状态的布帛6上,例如以如图2所示方案以线状或点状涂布粘合剂7、8、9。芯部件4和第2外壳部件3的接合中使用芯部件4的形状的布帛11,使用沿着芯部件4的形状在该布帛11上涂布、并在接合时向布帛11中扩展的粘合剂12。在端部芯部件5和第2外壳部件3的接合中使用以线状涂布在端部芯部件5上的粘合剂13及以点状涂布在端部芯部件5的背面侧的粘合剂14(图4(A)中所示),粘合剂13、14在存在于两构成部件5、3间的布帛15中扩展后用于接合。
使用上述各布帛、各构成部件,例如如图3~图5所示接合构成部件之间。图3表示在具有C形剖面的第1外壳部件2和芯部件4之间存在涂布有粘合剂7的布帛6的状态。在该状态下,将芯部件4相对地挤压入具有C形剖面的第1外壳部件2的内表面侧,由此以线状涂布在布帛6上的粘合剂7在布帛6中扩展,实质上没有遗漏地被扩展到芯部件4的外表面和第1外壳部件2的内表面之间。此时,以线状涂布的粘合剂7向布帛6的面方向扩展,同时渗透到布帛6中,扩展至粘合剂的非涂布 面,所以粘合剂在为了接合两部件而应该存在粘合剂的区域的实质整个区域以及布帛6的两表面间扩展。由此,第1外壳部件2和芯部件4通过在整个接合区域扩展的粘合剂接合,所以两部件以所希望的目标接合强度良好地接合。另外,理想的粘合剂的展开在粘合剂的涂布阶段预先仅在平面状的布帛6上以线状涂布粘合剂7即可,所以能容易进行涂布,同时涂布情况不要求那么高的精度,接合后的状态产生不均的原因也极少。另外,以线状或点状涂布了粘合剂7的布帛6即使对于比较复杂的三维形状的芯部件4,也能简单地沿着外形配置,从而在该状态下以线状涂布的粘合剂7在布帛6中扩展,所以例如仅通过将第1外壳部件2和芯部件4组装成规定的位置关系就能极容易地将粘合剂7展开至规定接合区域。进而,粘合剂的展开区域限于如上所述施加扩散力的区域,换言之,限于构成部件之间应被接合的接合区域,且被展开的粘合剂层的厚度能被构成部件之间的间隙或布帛6的厚度限制,所以粘合剂的使用量能抑制在需要的最小限,从而能将使用量的不均抑制在极小的范围。
图4表示端部芯部件5和第2外壳部件3的接合。如图4(A)所示,端部芯部件5在线状涂布有粘合剂13的状态及以点状涂布有粘合剂10、14的状态下,通过布帛15被嵌合在第2外壳部件3的C形剖面内。通过该嵌合、组装,如图4(B)所示,以线状涂布的粘合剂13及以点状涂布的粘合剂14在端部芯部件5的外面和第2外壳部件3的内表面之间,实质上没有遗漏地扩展在布帛15中。此时,与上述相同,以线状、点状涂布的粘合剂13、14向布帛15的面方向扩展,同时还渗透到布帛15中,向布帛15的两表面间扩展,所以在为了接合两部件而应该存在粘合剂的区域的实质整个区域良好地扩展。端部芯部件5和第2外壳部件3通过如上所述地在整个接合区域扩展的粘合剂接合,所以两部件以所希望的目标接合强度良好地接合。另外,也能抑制接合状态的不均和粘合剂使用量的不均。
图5关于作为第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3的FRP制构成部件之间的接合,表示端部芯部件5部分的接合。如图5(A)所示,在存在 以线状涂布有粘合剂7的布帛6的状态下(在被覆的状态下),第1外壳部件2被嵌合在如图4所示插入了端部芯部件5的第2外壳部件3上。该嵌合过程中,第1外壳部件2慢慢向图的下方挤入,相对于第2外壳部件3形成规定的位置关系,此时如图5(B)、(C)所示,以线状涂布的粘合剂7在第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3的直壁间的空隙内向布帛6的面方向扩展,同时渗透到布帛6中,向布帛6的两表面间扩展,向为了接合两部件而应使粘合剂存在的区域的实质整个区域良好地扩展。第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3通过如上所述地在整个接合区域扩展的粘合剂接合,所以两部件以所希望的目标接合强度良好地接合。另外,也能抑制接合状态的不均和粘合剂使用量的不均。同时,以点状涂布在布帛6上的粘合剂10也在存在于端部芯部件5和第1外壳部件2之间的布帛6部分中扩展,同样地,端部芯部件5和第1外壳部件2能进行良好的接合。需要说明的是,此时,在如图4所示的端部芯部件5和第2外壳部件3的接合工序中,粘合剂在两部件间的展开不充分时,通过端部芯部件5伴随第1外壳部件2的挤入操作而向第2外壳部件3侧挤压的操作,能加强粘合剂向两部件间的布帛中展开的操作。
通过上述工序,在应使粘合剂存在的整个区域,粘合剂以所希望的形态在布帛中充分扩展,通过扩展在布帛中并固化的粘合剂,各构成部件以理想的状态被接合。
图6列举了第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3的接合部的结构,即相对于粘合剂的存在区域的边缘,跨过该边缘的两侧延伸地配置布帛,在与该边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延伸存在区域中,从接合部溢出的粘合剂固化为条状。即,如图6(A)所示,以线状或点状涂布有粘合剂7的布帛6配置在第1外壳部件2和第2外壳部件3之间,如图6(B)所示,使第1外壳部件2与第2外壳部件3嵌合时,粘合剂7向布帛6中扩展,同时一部分粘合剂7从接合部溢出,溢出的粘合剂7保持在存在于该部分的布帛6部分,所以即使在嵌合结束时,也能如图6(C)、(D)所示,从接合部边缘向非接合部侧的布帛延伸存在区域溢出的粘合剂作为条状粘合剂溢出部21残留,该条状粘合剂溢出部21直接固化。该 固化为条状的粘合剂部分21(粘合条)发挥下述剪力滞效应,由此能提高构成部件之间的粘合强度、特别是耐拉伸剪切性。
关于该剪力滞效应,参见图7~图9所示的模式图进行说明。特别是为加热固化型粘合剂时,例如如图7所示,显示了下述行为:将温度T加热至规定的固化温度时,粘度ρ暂时降低,经最低粘度ρmin,粘度再次上升。产生上述粘度降低时,在被接合部件之间的接合部的端部(也就是从应存在粘合剂的区域释放粘合剂的部位),粘度降低的粘合剂流出,粘合剂未保持在该部位。但是,通过使该部位存在布帛,能将粘度降低、将要流出的粘合剂保持在布帛中,从而形成上述粘合条。
图8和图9列举了在有无上述粘合条的情况下拉伸剪切应力τ的状态。如图8所示,模式地表示被接合部件31和被接合部件32之间存在的粘合剂层33没有从接合区域溢出,且没有上述粘合条时,向箭头表示的方向施加拉伸剪切力时,在接合区域产生图示的拉伸剪切应力τ的分布,在接合区域的端部形成最大拉伸剪切应力τmax。因此,该部分成为相对于剪切的接合强度的限度。而如图9所示,在接合区域的端部形成粘合条34(粘合剂溢出部)时,该粘合条34部分及接合区域端部的最大拉伸剪切应力低于上述τmax,得以缓和,所述粘合条如上所述被布帛保持并直接固化而得到。在本申请中,将其称为剪力滞效应。通过呈现上述剪力滞效应,结果能增加两个被接合部件31、32的接合强度,特别是能提高耐拉伸剪切性。如上所述,本发明中能容易地通过布帛形成能呈现上述剪力滞效应的粘合条,从而能实现高耐拉伸剪切性。
产业上的可利用性
本发明的自行车用曲柄及其制造方法能适用于所有要求构成部件之间用粘合剂进行接合的自行车用曲柄。
Claims (17)
1.一种自行车用曲柄的制造方法,是将自行车用曲柄的构成部件之间通过存在于所述构成部件间的粘合剂进行接合的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其特征在于,所述方法包括下述工序:
对应于粘合剂的存在区域以线状或点状涂布粘合剂的工序;和
对应于粘合剂的存在区域配置布帛的工序;和
将以线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展的工序;和
通过扩展在布帛中的粘合剂接合构成部件之间的工序,
其中,跨过所述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘的两侧延伸地配置所述布帛,在与所述边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延长存在区域,使从接合部溢出的粘合剂固化成条状。
2.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中使用无纺布作为所述布帛。
3.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,以线状或点状在所述布帛上涂布粘合剂后,对应于所述粘合剂的存在区域配置涂布有粘合剂的布帛。
4.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,以线状或点状在至少一个构成部件上涂布粘合剂后,对应于涂布有粘合剂的构成部件的所述粘合剂的存在区域配置布帛。
5.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,利用将所述构成部件之间组装成规定的位置关系的操作,在所述构成部件间形成的间隙中将所述线状或点状涂布的粘合剂在布帛中扩展。
6.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,至少一个构成部件由纤维增强塑料形成。
7.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,所述制造方法包括接合具有C形剖面的构成部件之间的工序。
8.如权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,所述方法包括形成具有中空部的剖面的构成部件之间的接合工序。
9.如权利要求8所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,通过扩展在所述布帛中的粘合剂接合的构成部件包括配置在所述中空部内的块状部件。
10.如权利要求9所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法,其中,所述块状部件由铝制部件形成。
11.一种由权利要求1所述的自行车用曲柄的制造方法制造出的自行车用曲柄,是通过存在于接合部的粘合剂接合构成部件之间而形成的自行车用曲柄,其特征在于,在所述接合部同时存在所述粘合剂和布帛,所述粘合剂以扩展在布帛中的状态被固化,其中,跨过所述粘合剂的存在区域的边缘的两侧延伸地配置所述布帛,在与所述边缘邻接的非接合部侧的布帛延长存在区域,使从接合部溢出的粘合剂固化成条状。
12.如权利要求11所述的自行车用曲柄,其中,所述布帛由无纺布形成。
13.如权利要求11所述的自行车用曲柄,其中,至少一个构成部件由纤维增强塑料形成。
14.如权利要求11所述的自行车用曲柄,具有C形剖面的构成部件之间被接合。
15.如权利要求11所述的自行车用曲柄,形成具有中空部的剖面的构成部件之间被接合。
16.如权利要求15所述的自行车用曲柄,其中,通过以扩展在所述布帛中的状态固化的粘合剂接合的构成部件中包括被配置在所述中空部内的块状部件。
17.如权利要求16所述的自行车用曲柄,其中,所述块状部件由铝制部件形成。
