Abstract

本发明公开了一种卡缘连接器(100),其可安装于具有缺口(201)的电路板(200)的上表面,并用于收容电子卡(300),其包括绝缘本体(1)及导电端子(2,3),绝缘本体设有可收容电子卡的插接槽(11),导电端子的接触部延伸入插接槽,电子卡从电路板下表面方向倾斜插入插接槽,并旋转后定位于缺口内,方便使用者使用。

卡缘连接器
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种卡缘连接器,尤其指一种可供电子卡旋转插入的卡缘连接器。
【背景技术】
中华人民共和国实用新型专利第ZL02237032.3号公开了一种现有卡缘连接器。该卡缘连接器具有一纵长电子卡插接槽,插接槽的两侧分别设有若干导电端子。该卡缘连接器是安装于一母板上,电子卡自上向下以一定角度插入插接槽,然后向下旋转,直至电子卡大致与母板平行并由锁扣件固定,导电端子的弹性接触部接触电子卡两边的导电片,完成电子卡与母板的电性连接。
在现在电子器件的多样化形式下,受电子器件内部元件排布,或方便使用者的因素影响,上述形式的卡缘连接器已经不能满足。故,希望设计出一种新型卡缘连接器,以适用不同的应用。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的问题是提供一种可供电子卡自下向上插入的卡缘连接器。
为实现上述目的,本发明可采用如下技术方案:一种卡缘连接器,其可安装于具有缺口的电路板的一表面,并用于收容电子卡,其包括绝缘本体及导电端子,绝缘本体设有可收容电子卡的插接槽,导电端子延伸入插接槽,电子卡从相对上述电路板一表面的另一表面倾斜插入插接槽,并旋转后定位于缺口内。
本发明卡缘连接器允许使用者由下向上将电子卡插入卡缘连接器,不但方便使用,而且方便电子卡的更换。
本发明也可采用如下技术方案:一种卡缘连接器,其包括安装面、纵长插接槽及排列于插接槽两侧壁的第一、第二导电端子,第一、第二导电端子包括突伸入插接槽的弹性接触部,第一、第二导电端子的接触部之间形成一朝向安装面的插接口。
本发明也可采用如下技术方案:一种卡缘连接器,其包括绝缘本体及上、下排导电端子,绝缘本体设有具有开口的插接槽,上、下排导电端子分别包括突伸入插接槽的接触臂,接触臂设有接触点,上排导电端子的接触点较下排导电端子的接触点临近插接槽的开口处。

【具体实施方式】
参图1所示,本发明为一沉板式卡缘连接器100,该卡缘连接器100是安装于电路板200的一缺口内,用于接插一电子卡300,比如记忆体模组,以实现电路板与电子卡的电性连接。参图2所示,该卡缘连接器包括纵长绝缘本体1,绝缘本体一侧面(即前端面)设有具有开口的纵长插接槽11,若干导电端子2、3则收容于上、下壁的内壁面。图2仅显示部分导电端子,上下排导电端子是交错分布,该导电端子的排布方式是SO DIMM连接器等记忆体模组连接器的通用方式,本处不赘述。电路板200在邻近缺口201的内边缘处设有端子插接孔202,其可供导电端子的焊接脚焊接,以电性连接电路板上的导电线路;在邻近缺口201的侧边缘设有通孔203,卡缘连接器的绝缘本体1的两侧设有的金属抓板件12插入通孔203,以将连接器固定于电路板200。下文将详细描述导电端子2、3的结构。
参图3所示,上排导电端子2(即第一导电端子)包括收容于绝缘本体端子收容槽内(未标号)的基部21、自基部前端向前且略向下延伸的弹性接触部22及自基部后端向下垂直延伸的焊接脚23。一固持部24自基部临近接触部22处向下延伸出,并借助其上设有的倒刺固定于绝缘本体上形成固定孔13内。接触部22延伸入绝缘本体的插接槽11内。该导电端子收容槽贯穿绝缘本体的顶面,导电端子2是自绝缘本体的顶面向下插入而形成(图2清楚显示)。
参图4所示,下排导电端子3包括收容于绝缘本体端子收容槽14内的基部31、自基部前端先向下后斜向上延伸入插接槽11的弹性接触部32及自基部后端向下垂直延伸的焊接脚33。一固持部34自基部前端向前延伸出,并借助其上设有的倒刺固定于绝缘本体上对应形成固定孔15内。该端子收容槽14贯穿绝缘本体的後端面,导电端子3是自绝缘本体的後端面插入而形成。
结合图3、4所示,卡缘连接器具有安装面,其借助该安装面安装于电路板缺口的内侧缘。上、下排导电端子的接触部22、32的自由末端向插接槽11凸设有接触点221、321。上排接触点221较下排接触点321临近插接槽11的开口,远离插接槽11的内侧壁18,如此,该插接槽11形成向下的可供电子卡插入的插接口A,如虚线所示,插接口A是向下倾斜朝向电路板200,即朝向卡缘连接器的安装面方向。位于插接槽11两侧的绝缘本体前端面为前后相距一定距离,上侧壁的前端面16靠前,底壁的前端面17靠后。
参图5所示,电子卡300自电路板200的底面206方向倾斜一定角度插入卡缘连接器的插接槽11,上下排的导电端子接触点与电子卡上的导电片接触,然后向上旋转(箭头C方向)使电子卡靠近电路板200,直至其与电路板平行,并被电路板的锁扣件6所固定(下文将描述)。本卡缘连接器是正向安装于电路板200的缺口201内,电子卡300从卡缘连接器底面方向插入,在应用中,在卡缘连接器安装于电子装置中,比如笔记本电脑中,使用者可直接从笔记本电脑的底面插入记忆体模组300,尤其在需要更换记忆体模组的时候,无需拆解电脑就可直接从笔记本电脑底面更换记忆体模组。
图6显示配合卡缘连接器使用的锁扣件6,其中卡缘连接器100、电路板200及电子卡300与前述一样,电子卡300是自电路板的下表面206(即背面)安装入,并借助锁扣件6固定于电路板200。结合图7、8,锁扣件6包括朝下的支撑面62及朝下设置的锁扣部61,定位柱63自支撑面向下突伸,抓板部64、65自支撑面62向下突伸。锁扣件6是自电路板的上表面(正面)向下安装,抓板部64、65插入电路板上对应的通孔208、209且固定,锁扣部61则突伸至电路板的下表面206。

Claims (10)

1.一种卡缘连接器,其可安装于具有缺口的电路板的一表面,并用于收容电子卡,其包括绝缘本体及导电端子,绝缘本体设有可收容电子卡的插接槽,导电端子延伸入插接槽,其特征在于:电子卡从相对上述电路板一表面的另一表面倾斜插入插接槽,并旋转后定位于缺口内。
2.如权利要求1所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:电路板在相对卡缘连接器的另一端安装有一锁扣件,该锁扣件包括安装部及锁扣部,锁扣部位于上述电路板的另一表面侧,安装部则固定于上述电路板的一表面侧。
3.如权利要求2所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:安装部设有向下插入电路板的抓板件。
4.一种卡缘连接器,其包括安装面、纵长插接槽及排列于插接槽两侧壁的第一、第二导电端子,第一、第二导电端子包括突伸入插接槽的弹性接触部,其特征在于:第一、第二导电端子的接触部之间形成一朝向安装面的插接口。
5.如权利要求4所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:第一、第二导电端子交错排布。
6.如权利要求4所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:第二导电端子临近安装面,第一导电端子临近相对安装面的顶面,且第一导电端子贯穿卡缘连接器的顶面。
7.如权利要求6所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:每一第一、第二导电端子包括基部及焊接脚,接触部自基部延伸入插接槽,焊接脚自基部向安装面延伸。
8.如权利要求4所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:卡缘连接器是一沉板型连接器。
9.一种卡缘连接器,其包括绝缘本体及上、下排导电端子,绝缘本体设有具有开口的插接槽,上、下排导电端子分别包括突伸入插接槽的接触臂,接触臂设有接触点,其特征在于:上排导电端子的接触点较下排导电端子的接触点临近插接槽的开口处。
10.如权利要求9所述的卡缘连接器,其特征在于:绝缘本体的插接槽两侧为上、下侧壁,上排导电端子位于上侧壁,下排导电端子位于下侧壁,上侧壁临近开口的前端面突伸出下侧壁的前端面。
