Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种连接器,特别是一种不容易由于高温和外力而扭曲变形的连接器。
背景技术
当前的电子产品倾向于体积小(紧凑)和重量轻。因此,制造电子产品所用的电器件也趋于微型化。
各种电子产品使用连接器来传输信号。图1示出了一传统连接器。当该传统连接器与电子产品相连时,不可避免的是,该传统连接器将经受高温环境、例如炉子或外力、例如由不当人力操作或尺寸上的机械误差造成的外力的作用。高温和外力将导致连接器的一些元件、例如塑料壳体或印刷电路板产生扭曲变形,从而导致连接器不能被精确地组装。
发明内容
为了解决上述问题,本发明提供一种在高温或外力下仍然可以精确地固定至电子产品、例如印刷电路板上的连接器。根据本发明的一实施例的连接器包括:具有两端的壳体;设置于该壳体上以用于与一板电接触的多个端子;从该壳体的每一端延伸的一对臂;形成于所述一对臂中的每一个上的第一突起和第二突起:以及金属部件(112),其包含:固持部(114)和第一凹槽(116);其中当所述金属部件(112)沿着所述臂(106)中的每一个可拆卸地配置时,所述第一凹槽(116)能够容纳所述第一突起(108)并在它们之间具有第一缓冲间隙(130),并且所述金属部件(112)通过第二缓冲间隙(140)与所述第二突起(110)隔开,从而使得当所述固持部(114)被焊接到所述板上时,所述第一突起(108)或所述第二突起(110)可防止所述板或所述壳体(102)过度扭曲,其中所述壳体(102)进一步包含枢轴部(134),并且所述金属部件(112)进一步包含用于接合所述枢轴部(134)的第二凹槽。

具体实施方式
图2示出了本发明的连接器的一实施例。连接器100包括壳体102和金属部件112。图3为拆开的图2的连接器100的示意图。壳体102可包括枢轴134,并且金属部件112可沿着每个臂106可拆卸地配置。再次参考图2,壳体102设有将与一电子产品相连的多个导电端子104。在本实施例中,该电子产品可为印刷电路板。臂106从壳体102的两瑞延伸并分别形成有第一突起108和第二突起110。在图3中,金属部件112包含固持部114和第一凹槽116。在本实施例中,固持部114用于将连接器100固定(例如焊接或钎焊)至所述印刷电路板(未示出)上。
图4为图2的连接器100的局部示意图。臂106的第一突起108容纳于金属部件112的第一凹槽116中。金属部件112可包含止动部120,以防止臂106过度挠曲。请参考图5A和5B,其为图4的局部放大示意图。在本实施例中,第一凹槽116能够容纳该第一突起108并在它们之间具有第一缓冲间隙130,金属部件112通过第二缓冲间隙140与第二突起110隔开。
根据另一实施例,第一缓冲间隙130优选为0.2mm,第二缓冲间隙140优选为0.2mm。但是,在其它实施例中,第一缓冲间隙130与第二缓冲间隙140并不局限于0.2mm,而是可以根据连接器的结构特征调整。在连接器的元件被组装的过程中,金属部件112的固持部114被焊接到印刷电路板上。在焊接步骤中,印刷电路板和/或壳体102可能由于热或外力的作用而变形或扭曲。第一缓冲间隙130和第二缓冲间隙140可容纳或适应印刷电路板或壳体102的变形或扭曲,并且连接器100仍可精确地固定至电路板上。
应当理解,上述实施例仅仅为本发明的优选实施例。根据本发明的精神做出的一些修改及其功能不脱离由说明书和附图覆盖的本发明的精神并且应当包含在权利要求书的范围内。

Claims (4)

1.一种连接器(100),其包括:
具有两端的壳体(102);
设置于所述壳体(102)上以用于与一板电接触的多个端子(104);
从所述壳体(102)的每一端延伸的一对臂(106);
形成于所述一对臂(106)中的每一个上的第一突起(108)和第二突起(110);以及
金属部件(112),其包含:固持部(114)和第一凹槽(116);
其中当所述金属部件(112)沿着所述臂(106)中的每一个可拆卸地配置时,所述第一凹槽(116)能够容纳所述第一突起(108)并在它们之间具有第一缓冲间隙(130),并且所述金属部件(112)通过第二缓冲间隙(140)与所述第二突起(110)隔开,从而使得当所述固持部(114)被焊接到所述板上时,所述第一突起(108)或所述第二突起(110)可防止所述板或所述壳体(102)过度扭曲,
其中所述壳体(102)进一步包含枢轴部(134),并且所述金属部件(112)进一步包含用于接合所述枢轴部(134)的第二凹槽。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征在于,所述金属部件(112)进一步包含用于防止所述臂(106)过度挠曲的止动部(120)。
3.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征在于,所述第一缓冲间隙(130)为0.2mm。
4.根据权利要求1所述的连接器,其特征在于,所述第二缓冲间隙(140)为0.2mm。
