背景技术
一种类型的食品容器具有容器主体,其具有由底壁,直立的侧壁和开放的上端部限定的内部。开放的上端部可具有一个例如带有外螺纹的颈部,和一个朝上的边沿。一个损坏显示件或密封件,可密封该边沿来盖住该容器主体的开放的上端部,并且,在某些情况下,可提供直观的损坏迹象。盖子可放置在密封膜上,并且可具有一个带有下垂裙部的闭合壁。该裙部可具有内螺纹,用于与容器主体颈部的外螺纹相匹配。
如果密封膜完全密封住所述边沿,那么任何在容器主体内部存在的气体或产生的气体可导致容器侧壁变形。当食品容器穿越高海拔,例如穿越高山而运输时,上述情况尤其存在。除了由于膨胀导致的变形,如果容器内部与容器外部相比有一个压力下降,容器主体也会向内变形。容器主体的变形是不希望发生的,并且可导致容器具有在视觉上无吸引力的外表。如果变形足够,也会使得密封膜从所述边沿破裂,导致产品显示出已经被损坏。
为了解决与容器主体变形相关的问题,在过去,跳跃封口用在密封膜和容器主体边沿之间。跳跃封口是在密封中的一个小的缝隙,在密封膜和容器主体边沿之间,设置成允许气体进入和离开容器主体的内部。
将密封膜粘结到容器主体边沿上的一种方法是通过使用感应加热。在感应加热中,压力施加于密封膜的表面,促使密封膜抵接于容器主体边沿。压力可通过使用盖子的突起或其他构型部来施加。随着压力的施加,该食品容器被传送通过一个感应加热器,该感应加热器使得密封膜密封在容器边沿由盖子施加压力的区域上。

发明内容
公开了一种食品容器,适合于气体便利地向着和/或者从食品容器主体内部流通。该食品容器包括容器主体,盖子和密封膜。在密封膜和容器主体之间成型有至少一个跳跃封口或缝隙以便于通风。由于压力密封程序使得至少一个凹口形成在盖子和/或容器主体边沿上,所以所述的至少一个跳跃封口会自动地排列,减少或避免了无意地对跳跃封口的封闭,从而便于从容器主体内通风。
容器主体可具有一个内部和一个由颈部和镶边边沿所围绕的开放端部。可通过感应密封或冷密封将密封膜密封到容器主体颈部的镶边边沿上以盖住容器主体的开口端部。容器的盖子可具有一个闭合壁和一个悬垂裙部,该悬垂裙部的大小适合于环绕容器的颈部。密封缝隙或跳跃封口设置在密封膜和镶边边沿之间,并与形成于盖子的裙部和/或容器边沿上的一个凹口对齐,以通过在密封膜和与密封缝隙相邻的或至少部分地与密封缝隙同延的容器主体边沿之间减轻压力,可减少或避免无意地对密封缝隙的封闭。

具体实施方式
图1-16描述和图示了一种适合于气体便利地向着和/者从食品容器主体内部流通的食品容器。如图1所示,食品容器10包括容器主体20,盖子40和密封膜30,密封膜30采用感应密封或冷密封的方式密封到容器主体20的边沿26上。为了便于通风,在密封膜30和容器主体20的边沿26之间形成至少一个跳跃封口或缝隙26。跳跃封口52和形成在盖子上的凹口48对齐,以用来在压力密封操作时减轻盖子40、密封膜30和容器主体20之间的压力,从而减少或避免密封膜30和容器主体20之间的缝隙52被无意中封闭。
容器主体20包括底壁22,竖直的侧壁24和颈部28。颈部28包括密封膜30可附着其上的镶边边沿26。为了将密封膜30密封到容器主体20的边沿26上,使用盖子40向密封膜30的背面施加压力。压力被施加在密封膜30和盖子40之间需要被密封的位置,例如区域54。为了形成跳跃封口或缝隙52,盖子40下侧的形态被设置为不施加与需要密封的区域54上相同程度的压力。虽然在一些情况下,缝隙52会因这样的密封过程而打开,如图2所示,但是在另外一些使用现有技术中的盖子的情况下缝隙52是闭合的,如图3所示。导致缝隙52闭合的情况包括密封膜30的尺寸大于边沿26的周长,这可导致来自现有技术中的盖子侧壁部的压力,这种压力会形成局部密封。另外一些情况被认为是由制造公差引起的典型的变化造成的,例如,密封膜30偏离了中心或者没有和边沿26对齐。

密封膜30可以是适合感应密封或冷密封的压层薄膜。图5所示的是用于密封容器主体20的边沿26的压层薄膜的一个示例,该层压薄膜具有聚乙烯薄膜顶层32、聚乙烯泡沫层34、衬层36和可热密封的聚乙烯层38。可以从UNIPAC,Aurora,Ontario,Canada获得一种合适的叫做LIFT’N’NPEELTM的压层薄膜,产品号为ISCT-U5。顶层32的一部分可以是不粘的或很容易从紧邻层上移除,顶层上提供了一个拉片(pulltab)以便于将密封膜30从容器主体20上移除。对于一个感应密封的过程,适合的感应密封器由Enercon Industries,Menomonee Falls,Wisconsin制造。
为制造这里所描述的食品容器10,容器主体20能够被装填入例如搓碎干酪之类的食品。密封膜30可以被插入盖子40的下侧,并由突起56保持住。盖子40能够通过例如螺纹紧固在容器主体20的颈部28上,以将密封膜30定位在容器主体20的边沿26的位置上。盖子40或140的下侧结构,例如凸肋146或凸起的周边50,向密封膜30施加压力,使其在密封区域54内紧压边沿26。食品容器10被传送过一个感应密封单元,密封膜30的密封层38被加热,在密封区域54内,密封膜30被粘合在容器主体20的边沿26上,形成了密封缝隙52用于通风。为了减轻密封缝隙52处的压力,在压力密封过程中,盖子40或140中的凹口48或148对齐密封缝隙52来减小盖子40或140、密封膜30和容器主体20之间的压力,从而减少或消除密封缝隙52被无意中封闭的情况。
虽然凹口48或148可以位于盖子40或140中,但是凹口248可以将它们替换或者额外地成型在容器颈部228的边沿226上,如图16所示。一个传统的盖子240,如图15所示,或者一个带有凹口的盖子都可以和一个具有凹口248的容器颈部228配合使用。凹口248可以只在边沿226的面上延伸,或者同时在边沿226的面和边沿226的径向外侧面上延伸,如图16所示。凹口248和密封缝隙52对齐以减少密封缝隙52附近的压力,从而减少或消除密封缝隙52被无意中封闭的情况。
