Abstract

Description

多层产品及其制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种通过对合成树脂的共挤压装料进行压缩模塑而制造多层产品的方法。
背景技术
日本专利JP 2098415提出通过对包括若干合成树脂层的径向堆叠的圆筒形多层装料压缩模塑而制造多层产品。沿着平行于装料的对称轴线,对装料进行的压缩模塑以及该装料的径向流动,形成了具有多层结构的产品。根据在专利JP 2098415中公开的方法,如附图3所示,挤压此装料并形成多层产品。
在专利JP 2098415中提出如图1中示出那样使用三层装料,此装料由形成装料中心部分的第一树脂4、只覆盖第一树脂侧面的第二树脂3和只覆盖第二树脂侧面的第三树脂2组成。此装料位于包括冲模6和冲头7的压缩塑模5中。在图2中示出了对在塑模5中合成物装料沿着它的对称轴挤压。挤压形成装料的径向流动。
在图3中示出了根据在专利JP 2098415中公开方法获得的多层产品。获得的多层结构的特征在于以产品厚度方向嵌入的双功能层3;所述层3形成褶皱并且具有两个自由端。根据在专利JP 2098415中公开的发明形成的多层包装件具有许多优点,特别是当功能层为氧气阻挡层时,这会改善对容纳在包装件中食品的保存。然而,通过采用在专利JP 2098415中公开的方法,双功能层3是大约以产品厚度集中形成。此时,将便于功能层靠近内壁。这种结构具有的优点是,降低了分子从包装产品到包装件壁或者从包装件壁到包装产品迁移的数量。在专利JP 2098415中公开的方法中,部件厚度方向的功能层的位置不能改变。
因此需要能够解决上述问题。
发明内容
随后将看到,本发明目的是改变为部件厚度的功能层的位置,把它放置在与产品外壁相比更靠近内壁的距离处。
本发明包括制造形成轴对称本体的多层产品的方法,所述产品包括至少直径为D的基体,该基体结合到平均厚度为E以及高度为H的侧壁。该方法在于把共挤压的多层装料装入到塑模腔内,然后压缩所述装料以形成产品;压缩方向平行于所述装料的对称轴线,同时压缩施加于装料的一个表面上。装料形成围绕对称轴线的轴对称本体,并包括径向堆叠的若干层,其中至少一层为薄功能层。所述装料的外径基本等于D。该方法的特征在于装料只在所述表面的一个部分上被压缩。
发明还在于通过对直径为D的装料压缩模塑而制造多层产品,包括径向堆叠的若干层,其中至少一层为薄功能层,而在适当位置,根据发明,功能层靠近包装件内壁。多层装料装入塑模并在装料对称轴线方向上压缩。对于在产品整个周边获得各层的正确分布,把装料集中在塑模中是重要的。有益的是,装料不在其整个表面上而在只在一个中心部分上被压缩,所述中心部分的直径小于D。
根据发明的优选模式,直径等于D的多层装料装入塑模腔中;装料的直径接近塑模腔直径;装料的直径优选的是略微小于所述塑模腔直径。多层装料在基本等于(D-2E)的表面上被压缩,E等于被模塑部件的厚度。根据发明的这个优选模式,装料大部分在压缩方向而不是径向流入。根据此优选实施例,功能层在装料中径向地位于(D-2E)/6和(D-2E)/2之间的距离处。已经注意到,根据前面描述方法制造的多层包装件具有非常靠近包装件内壁的功能层。当功能层为阻挡层时此包装件尤其有益。上述的较小距离(D-2E)/6构成一个限制,允许功能层正确地保持在包装件壁内。
发明对于制造高度H大于D的产品特别有益。对于这种高度H与所述直径D相比足够大的产品来说,获得了一些特别有益的特性,这些特性与以下事实有关,即功能层靠近所述产品内壁,以及所述产品的只有较小部分不具有多层结构。
在下文中,借助于通过下面附图示出的实例的详细描述,可更好理解发明。

具体实施方式
本发明涉及一种通过多层装料压缩模塑而制造多层产品的方法。
该多层装料通过对几种树脂径向叠加而形成,并具有直径为D的圆柱几何体。发明意图是,以非排他方式,制造具有改进的阻挡气体和香味性能的多层包装件。为此,优选的是,该多层装料包括为了使其具有阻挡性能而选择的薄功能层。此功能层在制造产品期间流动并在产品壁内部铺开。该薄功能树脂层因此嵌入在用于形成产品壁的树脂层之间的装料中。该功能层常常与位于功能层两侧的两个薄粘合树脂层结合,以改善在层与层之间的粘合。该粘合层不会在发明文件其余部分提到,以便不增加对发明的介绍。在同样意义上,发明文件中的装料只包括两种树脂,然而包括更多树脂和层的装料可容易制造,这构成了相对于现有产品的明显优势。
在图4中示出了用于发明说明的多层装料。此圆柱几何体形的装料1包括形成层2和4并构成至少80%装料体积的第一树脂、位于与装料对称轴线距离R处的薄功能层3。已经通过实验发现,当R在(D-2E)/6和(D-2E)/2之间时功能层可较好地散布在产品中。E为制造产品的平均厚度。在本发明中,发明的这个方面将更详细地重新描述。
通过棒材的共挤压形成多层装料1。优选的是,所述棒材以恒定速率挤压并均匀地切割,以形成多层装料的连续性。由于在现有技术中描述过能够使装料被制造的方法与设备,因此在这里只介绍制造装料的原理。多层装料1还可通过批量共挤压获得,以形成单独的每一个装料。
多层装料注入塑模5腔室内,所述塑模5包括至少两个部件:称为冲模的第一部件6,用来接收装料;以及称为冲头的第二部件7,运动时压缩装料。装料放置在塑模中,以便装料对称轴线与塑模腔的对称轴线对准。根据本发明的第一部分,包括形成与模腔直径接近的直径为D的装料,如在图4中示出那样。在图4以及下面图中示出的塑模设备只是用来解释发明的略图。根据本发明,制造产品所需的塑模设备是已知的,因此其不属于发明的范围。通过冲模6形成的腔室不限于为图4所示的圆柱形,而且所述腔室的壁可与对称轴线形成一定的角度,该角度可以是使产品脱模的3°左右的间隙角,或者,如果该产品为圆锥形的,可以形成更大的角度。在发明范围内,制造产品的锥形通常小于10°,该锥角相对于对称轴线而限定。
装料1然后在塑模中沿着与对称轴线平行的方向被压缩。与在现有技术尤其是在专利JP 2098415中描述那种相反,装料只在它的中心部分被压缩;所述中心部分的直径基本等于(D-2E)。图5示出了用于压缩装料1上层中心部分的冲头7正在下降。冲头7的运动使装料产生变形以及该装料未压缩部分的流动。功能层形成褶皱并沿着冲头7壁流动,同时保持完全地嵌入在层4和2之间。在测试期间观察的功能层3沿着冲头壁的流动是完全不期望的。此流动在本发明范围内描述的特定条件下出现。
本发明还涉及通过本发明方法获得的多层产品。
图6示出了获得的多层产品。此产品包括形成嵌入在层4和2之间的双层的功能层3,其中该层4和2形成产品壁。该功能层形成与产品上端齐平的褶皱,并具有与所述产品基体齐平的两个自由端。获得的多层产品具有靠近所述产品内壁的两个功能层。图6示出了形成双层3a和3b的功能层3;层3a通过层2a与包装件内壁隔离;层4把层3a和3b隔开;而层2b把层3与包装件外壁隔开。第一功能层3a与产品内壁的距离小于E/6,而第二功能层3b与产品内壁的距离小于2E/3并通常小于E/3。相对于根据专利JP 2098415获得的现有技术产品,本发明能使从包装件壁到被包装物品迁移分子的数目或者从被包装物品到包装件壁迁移分子的数目降低至少30%。
根据发明制造的产品当其高度H大于或等于D时,则具有特别有益的特性。实际上,对于具有高度H大于D的产品来说,功能层形成了散布在产品至少80%的阻挡层,这就使所述产品的不渗透性有明显改进。
在装料中功能层的径向位置对所述功能层在产品内的分布具有较大影响。因此,已经观察到,如果功能层以小于(D-2E)/6的半径R位于装料中,则该功能层只部分地散布在产品侧壁内。更具体地说,已经发现功能层从产品侧壁末端消失。在大多数情况下,所期望的是,功能层散布在产品末端,但有一些产品阻挡性能只需要在产品侧壁的单独一个部分上,因此阻挡层可位于小于(D-2E)/6的距离处。还观察到,在装料中,功能层的径向位置不可大于(D-2E)/2,从而该功能层保持嵌入产品壁中。当功能层的径向位置大于(D-2E)/2,则该功能层在产品侧壁表面上到处存在。在大多数场合下,所希望的是,特别当功能层对水气敏感时保持功能层嵌入。
该方法在以下方面具有较大优点,即通过双轴吹塑法形成用于制造空心本体的多层预制件。图7示出了根据发明方法获得的多层预制件。此预制件在侧壁面上具有形成两个保护层3a和3b的薄功能层3。该功能层3嵌入形成预制件壁的大部分树脂2中,而所述功能层3在基体面具有两个自由端以及在颈部下面的褶皱。功能层3在侧壁面上形成两个层3a和3b;所述层3a和3b位于预制件内壁附近。该层3a和3b分别位于与预制件内壁距离小于E/6和E/3处,E为在讨论位置的预制件壁的厚度。功能层3除了在基体和颈部面外散布在整个预制件上。在此产品中功能层的百分比小于2%。举例来说,本发明允许PET或者PP预制件与PAMXD6或者EVOH功能层一起形成。粘性树脂层可添加到功能层两侧。
形成包装件的空心本体通过在图7中所示预制件塑模中以吹塑法获得。此空心本体包括基体、颈部和把基体结合到颈部的侧壁,该本体由于其具有改善的阻挡性能而特别有益。所述空心本体90%以上的壁具有通过功能层改善的不渗透性。形成双保护层的功能层接近于所述空心本体的内壁,这明显地限制了从空心本体到内容物分子的迁移或者从内容物到空心本体壁分子的迁移。功能层嵌入在形成所述空心本体的壁的大部分树脂中,且所述功能层在基体面上具有两个自由端以及在颈部下面具有褶皱。功能层在侧壁表面形成两个层;所述层靠近空心本体的内壁。功能层分别位于与空心本体内壁小于F/6和F/3距离处,F为在讨论位置的空心本体壁的厚度。除了在基体和颈部表面外,功能层散布在整个空心本体上。功能层占此空心本体的百分比小于2%。相对于现有技术,从空心本体到被包装物品分子的迁移或者从被包装物品到空心本体壁分子的迁移减少了至少50%。
发明能制造具有改善特性的多层空心本体。发明还能制造具有特别薄层和具有许多层的多层产品。此结果可通过连续的共挤压工艺获得,以形成装料。与目前使用的类似多层注射模塑工艺的分批工艺不同,此连续共挤压工艺能获得特别薄层和许多层。
图8示出了在没有削弱所述颈部机械性能情况下,功能层3散布到预制件颈部内的可能性。实际上,发明能够把粘合层添加到阻挡层的每一侧上,并以足够薄的厚度挤压这些层,从而形成功能层的三层组小于产品体积的2%。在层与层之间粘合上的改进结合这些层的较低厚度,在没有削弱所述颈部机械性能情况下允许这些层扩散到预制件颈部。
通过在图8中所示预制件塑模中以吹塑法获得的空心本体包括基体、颈部和把基体与颈部结合的侧壁。此空心本体由于它具有改善的阻挡性能而特别有益。所述空心本体超过90%的壁具有通过功能层改善的不渗透性。形成双保护层的功能层接近于所述空心本体的内壁,这明显地限制了从空心本体壁到内容物的分子的迁移或者从内容物到空心本体壁分子的迁移。功能层在侧壁面和颈部上形成两个层,所述层位于空心本体内壁附近。功能层分别位于与空心本体内壁距离小于F/6和F/3处,F为在讨论位置的空心本体壁的厚度。功能层除了在基体面外在整个空心本体散布。该功能层呈现小于2%的需要形成空心本体的树脂。从包装件壁到被包装物品的分子的迁移或者从被包装物品到包装件壁的分子的迁移减少了至少50%。
由于这种制造树脂的方法或者由于在加工方法期间树脂分解,从包装件壁到被包装物品迁移的分子是小质量分子。举例来说,在PET情况下,这些分子可以是单体、增塑剂、助剂或者乙醛分子。再举例,从被包装物品到包装件壁迁移的分子可以是香味、色料、助剂、稳定剂、防腐剂或者增香剂。
在发明范围内使用的树脂对应于通常使用的热塑树脂,而更尤其是在包装工业中使用的那些。在可用来形成功能层3的非渗透性树脂中,可以为乙烯/乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)、例如尼龙-MXD6的聚酰胺、丙烯腈/丙烯酸甲酯共聚物(BAREX)和例如聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)的含氟聚合物。可用来形成产品结构2的一些树脂还有:聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚苯乙烯(PS)、聚酰胺(PA)和聚酯(PET)。这些列举不是穷举的。当选择树脂时,重要的是选择带有类似粘性的产品。通常,优选的是,在操作温度下,使用具有小于10粘性比树脂。优选的是选择小于3的粘性比。
压缩模塑法包括:把在熔融状态的合成树脂多层装料装入到塑模腔内;通过在所述塑模腔内对所述装料压缩模塑而形成产品;冷却所述产品然后脱模。
在这里描述的实例中,装料和产品具有简单的几何形状,然而不言而喻的是,发明涉及各种装料和产品几何形状。举例来说,具有孔口的装料可用来形成在基体面上具有开口的产品。
根据发明获得的产品含有功能层3,其中该功能层3形成与产品周边齐平的至少一个褶皱。还可获得带有靠近产品对称轴线的第二褶皱的产品。在该产品中可获得锯齿形功能层的布置。
还可使用包括若干功能层3的装料,所述功能层全部集中到所述装料的对称轴线上。获得的多层产品的特征在于,功能层至少部分地叠加,而每一层形成至少一个褶皱。

Claims (7)

1.一种制造具有轴对称体的多层产品的方法,所述产品包括至少直径为D的基体,该基体结合到平均厚度为E,以及高度为H的侧壁,所述方法包括把共挤压的多层装料装入到塑模腔内,然后压缩所述装料以形成产品,装料形成围绕对称轴线的轴对称本体,装料包括径向堆叠的若干层,其中至少一层为薄功能层,所述装料的外径基本上等于D,压缩方向平行于所述装料的对称轴线,在装料的一个表面上进行压缩,该方法的特征在于装料只在所述表面的中心部分上被压缩,表面经受压缩的部分集中于装料的对称轴线,装料的所述中心部分直径基本等于(D-2E),且装料中的功能层径向地位于与对称轴线的距离小于(D-2E)/2且大于(D-2E)/6处。
2.根据权利要求1的方法获得的多层产品,其特征在于,与功能层距离产品外壁的距离相比,功能层的位置更靠近内壁。
3.根据权利要求2的多层产品,其特征在于:
a、薄功能层形成褶皱;
b、薄功能层具有位于基体面的两个自由端;
c、薄功能层在侧壁厚度方向上形成双层。
4.根据权利要求3的多层产品,所述多层产品包括通过双轴伸长吹塑法制造的多层空心本体,该多层空心本体包括颈部、基体和厚度为E的侧壁,E可变化;所述侧壁位于基体和颈部之间。
5.根据权利要求4的多层产品,其特征在于,所述产品的高度H大于或等于D。
6.根据权利要求5的多层产品,其特征在于,用于通过双轴伸长吹塑法制造多层空心本体的是一预制件,该预制件包括颈部、基体和连接基体和颈部的侧壁。
7.根据权利要求6的多层产品,其中,所述预制件具有功能层,其中功能层在所述预制件中小于2%。
