本发明涉及一种夜视系统,在该夜视系统中,图像采集单元摄录机动车周围的图像,在图像处理单元中对被摄录的图像进行加工并且在显示装置中显示出来。
背景技术
由现有技术公开了这种类型的系统,在该系统中,存在作为图像采集单元的红外线摄像机并且在显示装置上显示出由红外线摄像机摄录的图像。在此,红外线摄像机具有特殊的镜头,从而使显示装置上的显示固定在确定的观察角度上。由此,不能使图像部分与当前的驾驶任务和驾驶员的信息要求相匹配。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提出一种前述类型的导航系统,在该导航系统中,图像部分与当前的驾驶任务和驾驶员的信息要求相匹配。该目的这样地实现,即图像采集装置的位置根据行驶状况来变化。通过改变图像采集装置的位置,可以实现用于各个行驶状态的图像采集装置的优化的位置并由此实现机动车的周围的显示。尤其有利的是,图像采集装置根据行驶的速度而垂直地摆动。因此,在静止状态中和在较低的速度时,图像采集装置这样地摆动,即可以理想地观察到紧挨在机动车之前的区域。这在卡车的情况下是特别有利的,在卡车的情况中,驾驶员坐在行车道之上的很高的位置处并且尽管存在照明但是紧挨在机动车本身之前的区域还是不能被观察到。这是因为在这里存在一个死角。随着速度的增加,机动车驾驶员通常望向机动车之前的较远的区域,由此,他们会在出现障碍物的时候做出相应的反应。因此,在速度增大时,图像采集装置有利地这样垂直摆动,即其可以摄录较远的物体,然后可以通过显示装置来显示该物体。当夜视系统中存在关于行驶的街道的类型的信息时,例如当该信息与夜视系统相连,或者当相应的街道类型被分级时,图像采集单元可以相应于街道类型来相应地摆动。尤其是这样地,即在通常较低行驶速度的街道类型时这样地调整图像采集单元,即摄录在机动车之前的较近的区域,并且在通常较高行驶速度的街道类型时这样地摆动图像采集单元,即可以摄录距离较远的物体。当图像采集单元的水平位置也被改变时,可以进一步改善信息。尤其是,当图像采集单元的水平位置根据街道的走向来改变。因此可以发现未处于机动车之前的直线中而是在相应的弯曲的街道走向时处于街道上的其他位置的物体。
红外线摄像机能够以有利的方式用作图像采集单元。由此,一方面可以显示在通常的车大灯范围内的物体。另一方面,即使可能处于车大灯的范围之外的物体也可以通过其热辐射探测到并且显示在显示装置上。
当具有红外线照明装置时,还可以提高红外线摄像机的性能。在图像采集装置被设计成雷达时,功能在诸如像大雨或者下雪的恶劣天气下受到的影响比红外线系统要小。
当显示装置被设计成平视显示器时,机动车的驾驶员就会很少地分散注意力,这是因为显像作为虚拟的影像投影到机动车的风挡玻璃上并且因此显像可以与机动车之前的真实的事件一同被注意到。当然,显示装置也可以被设计为单独的组件并且例如设置在中央控制台或者机动车的组合仪表中。但是,在这些情况中机动车驾驶员被妨碍同时直接观察行车道。

具体实施方式
在图1中可以观察到机动车1的一部分和驾驶员K。机动车具有图像采集装置2,其可垂直地围绕轴线A1和水平地围绕轴线A2摆动,如通过箭头3、4所示的那样。此外,机动车1具有平视显示器的投影单元5和风挡玻璃6。由图像采集装置2摄录的图像或者在未示出的图像处理装置中处理并且通过平视显示器的投影单元5投射到风挡玻璃6上,或者直接由图形采集装置2传输到平视显示器的投影单元5上并且然后投射到风挡玻璃6上。机动车驾驶员可以注意到由图像采集装置2摄录的并且投射到风挡玻璃6上作为虚像i的图像,机动车驾驶员可以在风挡玻璃6之后注意到该图像。通过设计成平视显示器,驾驶员可以同时注意到由图像摄录装置摄录的信息并且同时注意到处于机动车之前的真实环境。
在图2中可以观察到人员P,其紧挨在机动车1之前并且处于线S3之下,该线限定了机动车驾驶员的向下的观察范围。因此,人员P处于死角中并且不能直接由机动车驾驶员K注意到。因为机动车停止,所以图像摄录装置2垂直地向下摆动,从而使其通过射线S1和S2限定的摄录范围摄录到紧挨在机动车1之前的事实情况。因此,人员P通过抬头显示器投影到风挡玻璃上,并且机动车驾驶员可以注意到人员P处于其机动车之前。
在图3中,机动车1具有中等速度,从而图像摄录装置2采取差不多水平的位置,从而其记录通过射线S1和S2限定的范围。因此,图像摄录装置可以摄录人员P2的图像。这样摄录的图像通过平视显示器的投影单元5投射到风挡玻璃6上,从而即使当人员处于机动车大灯的作用范围之外,机动车驾驶员也可以注意到作为虚像的人员的图像。当然,本发明也可以利用其他的显示器来进行显示。但是,在这样的情况中,机动车驾驶员必须将其视线从机动车之前的行车道上移开,从而使其不能同时注意到实际发生的真实情况。

Claims (9)

1.一种夜视系统,在所述夜视系统中,图像采集单元摄录机动车周围的图像,所摄录的图像通过显示装置显示,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)的位置根据行驶状况来改变。
2.根据权利要求1所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)根据行驶速度垂直地摆动。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)的可垂直调节性还取决于被行驶的街道类型。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)的水平位置被改变。
5.根据权利要求4所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)的水平位置根据街道的走向来改变。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)被设计成红外线摄像机。
7.根据权利要求6所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,存在红外线照明装置。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述图像采集装置(2)被设计成雷达。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的夜视系统,其特征在于,所述显示装置被设计成平视显示器。
