背景技术
滑动轴承的含铅运行层,一方面由于含铅而存在毒性的缺陷,另一方面由于铅成分引起的低硬度而导致易于磨损。人们试图研发无铅运行层以努力降低磨损倾向。因此,尤其建议将锡基用于运行层中,在运行层中夹入锡-铜颗粒(DE 19963 385 C1)。虽然在软的锡基体中添加较硬的锡-铜颗粒但磨损性能不能满足更高的要求,忽略这一事实,这种运行层的耐温性也相当的低。
由于铋的脆性,将铋或铋合金用于滑动轴承的运行层的尝试通常会失败。即使通过铋晶体的特定取向以适当影响铋的硬度和脆性的建议(DE 10032 624 C2)相较于具有相应铅成分的滑动轴承也没有获得轴承性能的决定性的提高。
最后,具有支撑壳、具有基于铝或铜的轴承金属层,以及具有运行层的滑动轴承被提及(WO 96/15382 A1),该运行层具有含0.5-25重量%的至少一种选自镍、钴和铁的附加合金元素的锌基。尽管采用该滑动轴承能显著的提高抗磨损性,但是,由于锌对钢的高亲合力,它们不适于更多的应用。
发明内容
本发明是基于以下目的:设计一种在前面描述的滑动轴承,其有与高抗磨损性紧密联系的良好摩擦性。
本发明通过含有1-49重量%的铋作为附加的合金元素的锌基运行层实现了所述的目的。
令人惊奇地发现,通过添加铋,尽管是锌基,但与锌相比可以确保运行层有良好的摩擦性能,且具有较低的磨损倾向。另外,得到了易延展的运行层,尽管人们认为铋本质上为脆性。这对于滑动轴承的磨合特性和污渍埋藏性是明显重要的,尤其是因为提高了疲劳强度。1重量%的铋含量已经显示对运行层的摩擦学性能具有显著的影响。尤其是铋含量高于4重量%,更优选是高于10重量%时具有特别有益的影响。然而,铋的比例必须有上限,以限制铋对运行层的脆性的影响。尽管铋的比例对特定的应用可高达49重量%,但是通常铋的比例不能超过40重量%,最好不超过30重量%。
原则上,添加有铅或镉的锌合金同样能用于滑动轴承的运行层,但是,这些合金添加物的毒性限制了上述应用。具有锡或铟作为主要合金添加物的锌合金也有足够的摩擦性能,但是耐温性有限。基于含有银作为主要合金添加物的锌的运行层有很好的运行性能,但是,银与锌会形成硬质金属间相。
可以通过其他合金元素调节运行层的硬度和作为其功能的耐磨性或耐蚀性。为此,除铋之外,锌基体可包含选自铁、钴、铜、锰、镍、银、锡、锑、钛、铬、钼和钨中的至少一种合金元素,这些合金元素的单独比例为0.01-15重量%,但总比例最多为20重量%。为了不危及运行层的锌-铋合金的摩擦特性,附加合金元素的使用必须限于总的比例,附加合金元素含量的具体下限对于要考虑的特定性能能产生相应的影响是必要的。这些合金元素的单独比例在0.1-10重量%为宜,优选0.3-5重量%。
在这组合金元素中,由铁、钴和铜组成的小组更宜于加强锌基,除铜之外,抗腐蚀性也提高。该小组合金元素占总比例的0.2-3重量%,合金元素的单独比例在0.02-3重量%之间。铁比例为0.3-1重量%时抗腐蚀性得到显著的提高。铁成分的增加能增高硬度,但是铁含量为6-15重量%的运行层仍然有足够的可变形性。钴含量一般为0.5-2重量%,最重要的是增加抗二氧化硫的腐蚀性。铜溶于锌基最多约1重量%而不形成沉淀。在该铜含量范围内可观察到拉伸强度的增加而可变形性基本不变。铜含量高于1重量%时产生沉淀,这与可变形性降低和同时硬度增加有关。
除了这些合金元素之外,其它特定元素同样能用来影响特性。因而溶于锌的锰显著提高了运行层的机械性能。由于最多约0.3重量%的锰溶于锌,为此,可提供0.01-0.3重量%比例的锰。更高的锰含量,能增加抗腐蚀性的特性。然而,锰含量在12-17重量%会形成铋-锰相,并由此降低软相成分。
镍既与锌也与铋形成金属间相。因为与锌的金属间相比与铋的金属间相更稳定,然而,更高的镍含量同样确保使运行层具有充分的展延性,高的镍含量将提高抗腐蚀性。当镍含量低于0.05重量%时,在锌基中形成很细的沉淀,这将提高运行层的强度。
为了降低粉化趋势,银可以合金化,最多2.5重量%的银能溶于锌基中。为此目的,优选提供0.1-1重量%的含量。银含量超过2.5重量%时会产生沉淀,这种沉淀将提高硬度和抗磨损性。游离锡与锌形成的合金具有很低的熔点。锡在锌中的溶解度最高为0.02重量%,在0.01-0.02重量%的比例范围内能提高运行层的抗腐蚀性。锑通过与铋形成相从而提高锌基的强度,特别是在高含量的附加合金元素时,例如铁、钴或铜。为此,锑的比例需要在0.05-5重量%之间。0.1-0.5重量%含量的钛可用于提高锌基的抗磨损性。最高0.02重量%含量的铬也可用于提高运行层的强度。铬在锌基中的溶解度最高为此含量。更高的铬比例能提高抗腐蚀性,保持充分展延性的锌基铬含量至多为10重量%。钼与铬在锌基中具有相似的效果,但是还抑制锌电解液中氢的形成,以致于由氢引起脆变的危险可有效的抵消。钨既不溶于锌也不溶于铋,且在沉淀硬化期间起第三相作用。尤其是在含量约1重量%时,抗磨损性能可获得显著提高。
众所周知,凭借运行层合金的成分在运行层合金的厚度上变化,可以在磨合阶段(break-in phase)期间获得良好的污渍埋藏能力和抗磨损性能,该抗磨损性能随着磨损的提高而逐渐增加。为此,对于运行相仅须保证增加软相的比例,但是对于轴承金属层则应提高硬质相的比例。为了得到特别有利的磨合条件,运行层可以由铋构成的磨合层(break-in layer)覆盖,该磨合层在磨合阶段期间磨损,因此,在磨合阶段之后低磨损的运行层开始生效,其中,污渍埋藏能力不再起决定作用。在本文中不再需要强调,通过在运行层的锌基中另外插入硬质颗粒可以使滑动轴承的性能适应特定需要。该硬的颗粒由氧化钛或锌-铜相制成,例如,晶界积聚,以致于防止晶界扩散和晶粒粗化,这将导致滑动轴承的摩擦性能在其整个使用寿命期间保持一致。氧化铝、氧化锆或氧化硅,碳化硅或碳化硼,氮化铝和混合氧化物可用作硬质的颗粒,优选直径为50-500nm。这些颗粒的体积比优选为0.1-2%。在锌基中掺入硬质颗粒可大大降低磨损率,甚至几乎不改变硬度。这可能归因于安置在物体上的硬颗粒的抛光作用。具有晶粒尺寸小于100nm的更硬的颗粒,另外还提供分散硬化的作用。
如果铝合金用作轴承金属层,运行层能直接施加于具有粘附促进层的铝合金,该促进层由锌酸盐熔池施加。推荐向铝合金中添加相应的锌以降低锌向铝合金中的扩散。基于铜合金的轴承合金层通常需要一个中间层来抑制锌迁移进轴承金属层。例如,基于锌-镍、锌-铁、锡-镍、铜-锡、铜-锌、铜-锌-锡、锌-钴、锡-钴、钨-镍、钼-镍和钯-镍的合金适合作为中间层,中间层的厚度优选为1-3μm。然而,例如由银、金、铂、锑、钯或铬制成的中间层同样可以应用。
实施例1:
在具有钢制支撑壳和由黄铜合金制成的轴承金属层的滑动轴承中,施加了多层运行层,在轴承金属侧上的运行层具有10重量%的铋,3重量%的铁,1重量%的钴和余量的锌,和不可避免的杂质。运行层面的硬度为130HV,厚度为5μm。在铁的比例为1.2重量%,钴的比例为0.8重量%时,铋的比例在中间运行层面增加到20重量%,硬度降低到70HV。最后,最上层的铋的比例为30重量%,铁的比例为0.5重量%,钴的比例为0.3重量%,硬度为40HV。该层由铋制成的磨合层覆盖,该磨合层的厚度为3μm,硬度为18HV。
实施例2:
施加于铝合金的运行层具有铋的比例为30重量%,铜为0.5重量%和余量的锌以及不可避免的杂质,0.8重量%的附加氧化钛颗粒插入锌基,其硬度达到35HV。氧化钛颗粒的平均晶粒尺寸为0.2μm。
实施例3:
在另一个具有代表性的实施方式中,将硬度为180HV的铜-锡-锌合金用作轴承金属层,将由含镍12重量%的锌-镍合金构成的中间层以2μm厚度(硬度为550HV)施加于轴承金属层作为扩散阻挡层。该运行层的沉积厚度为15μm并包含30重量%的铋,和3重量%的钴以及0.2重量%的镍,和余量的锌以及不可避免的杂质。运行层的硬度为50HV。提供3μm厚的由铋制成的磨合层以提高磨合性能。
为检测磨损行为,一方面对根据本发明的实施例1-3的滑动轴承,另一方面对已知的滑动轴承进行相应的测试,在运行速度为13.2m/s(6000rpm)时变化的动力荷载逐步提高到80Mpa,然后保持超过25小时。提供的润滑油5W-40SE的温度为130℃。

Claims (6)

3.如权利要求1或2所述的滑动轴承,其特征在于除铋之外,该锌基包括选自铁、钴、锰、铜、镍、银、锡、锑、钛、铬、钼和钨的合金元素中的至少一种其它合金元素,这些元素的各自比例为0.01-15重量%,但是总的比例最多为20重量%。
