Abstract

背景技术
有时称为托架、垫木、承辊、托盘的基座垫或简单的基座在装配、存储和运输期间被用于缓冲和保护物体,例如大型电器。在本领域中已知许多电器基座,包括由木材、塑料、波状纸板制成的基座和由复合材料制成的复合基座。本发明的所有者Sonoco Development公司在本领域拥有许多专利,包括专利号为6,155,527和6,264,157的美国专利。
电器制造商不断地寻求更好的、更节省成本的基座以便为大型家用电器提供缓冲和保护。因此本发明的目的是提供一种电器基座,该电器基座以减少的成本提供大的电器的缓冲和保护。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种电器基座,该电器基座重量轻,但仍然通过标准的坠落试验并抗破坏。

发明内容
本发明是用于支撑物体(例如大型家用电器)的复合(多材料)基轨。该基轨包括矩形纸板平面构件或基片、胶合到基片具有M形横截面轮廓的折叠纸板构件、和俘获(capture)在纸板构件内或大致由纸板构件围绕的多个弹性泡沫构件。俘获在纸板构件内的泡沫构件的组合为电器提供缓冲但坚固的支撑。
折叠构件包括边缘板、在边缘板之间沿着折叠构件的长度设置的至少两个凸脊(bead)或冠部、和设置在两个凸脊之间的中心板。每个凸脊包括接触待支撑物体的顶部负荷承载板和两个向下延伸的侧板。折叠M形构件沿着边缘板附着到矩形的基片,以便该两片部件在其间限定出一对纵向空腔。中心板能够但不必固定到基片。
至少一个第一弹性泡沫构件插入凸脊之间,并被由中间板和两个对置向下延伸的侧板构成的三个侧面俘获。至少一对第二弹性泡沫构件邻近至少一个第一弹性泡沫构件被俘获在纵向空腔内。泡沫构件增强基轨,以便基轨能够以最小的变形经受来自大型物体的载荷。
在优选实施例中,第一弹性泡沫构件在凸脊之间分别设置在基轨的两端处,而一对第二弹性泡沫构件邻近第一弹性泡沫构件分别设置在基轨的两端处。两个基轨可以平行方式用于支撑和缓冲冰箱或其它物体。可选地,(由角尺板(angle board)或其它合适的结构制成的)横向构件可用来连接两个平行的基轨以形成U形基座。在另一可选实施例中,一对横向构件可用来连接两个平行的基轨以形成正方形或矩形的基座。

具体实施方式
参看附图,图1中示出本发明的一个实施例,用于支撑例如大型家用电器此类物体的基轨10。基轨10是由纸板薄片和弹性海绵胶块制成的复合轨道。弹性海绵胶块被纸板薄片俘获并俘获在纸板薄片内,以便为大型物体提供坚固的缓冲平台。
基轨10包括纸板部件和许多弹性海绵胶块。图2是纸板部件12的透视图。纸板部件继而由矩形的、大致的平面基片14和折叠构件16制成。折叠构件16具有大致的M形横截面。
仍然参考图2,折叠构件16包括:固定到基片14的边缘板18;在边缘板18之间沿着折叠构件的长度设置的至少两个冠部或凸脊20;和设置在两个凸脊20之间的中心板22。每个凸脊包括顶部负荷承载板24和两个向下延伸的侧板26。
图3是用于制造折叠构件16的坯料30的透视图。坯料30在形状上大体上是矩形,并且具有纵向延伸的折线,这些折线帮助限定边缘板18、中心板22、顶板24和侧板26。
在图2的装配纸板部件12中,折叠纸板构件16的边缘板18被胶合或以其它方式固定到基片14。优选地,基片14和折叠构件16具有相同的水平尺寸(即它们的周长或边缘共同延伸),并且中心板22邻接基片16。中心板22可以但不必固定到基片14。基片14和折叠构件16在它们之间限定一对纵向通道或空腔32。
如图4所示,弹性泡沫构件可由单块弹性泡沫材料(例如发泡聚苯乙烯)34制成,该单块弹性泡沫材料34被切割或分成第一弹性泡沫构件36和两个第二弹性泡沫构件38。第二泡沫构件38构造成紧密配合在纸板部件12中的纵向空腔32内,如以下说明所述。
在图1所示的装配基轨10中,将第一弹性泡沫构件36分别放置在凸脊20之间的基轨10的两端,以便它们被由折叠构件16的中心板22和两个对置向下延伸的侧板26构成的三个侧面而俘获。两个第二弹性泡沫构件38分别在纸板部件12的两端处被俘获在纵向空腔32内。每对第二弹性泡沫构件38应邻接第一弹性泡沫构件36。换句话说,每对第二弹性泡沫构件38沿横向(交叉)方向应与第一泡沫构件36对准。在每个基轨10中总共使用六个弹性泡沫构件。
在凸脊20之间楔入第一弹性构件36,并且邻近该第一弹性泡沫构件36将第二弹性构件38俘获在空腔32内部,从而形成如下结构,该结构能够在折叠纸板构件16发生极少变形的情况下经受大型物体的负载。基轨10对安装在上面的物体进行保护和缓冲,并且取代较昂贵的基座。基轨10能够与铲车或其它起重电器一起使用。
图5示出安装在彼此平行间隔开的一对基板10上的物体(冰箱40)。冰箱的底部在每个基轨10中的凸脊20之间向下延伸,并可楔靠第一弹性泡沫构件36的内壁。
可选地,能够通过未示出的横向构件(例如角尺板)将一对基轨10连接在一起,以形成U形电器基座。在另外的可选实施例中,能够通过两个横向构件(未示出)在一对基轨10的端部将它们连接在一起,以形成正方形形状的电器基座。
本发明的基轨10能够结合其它包装部件使用,以提供开敞式电器包装。例如,具有短直立侧面的底盘能够放置在安装在一对基轨10上的电器和放置在顶部上的顶盖之下。角柱能够设置在电器和盘侧壁之间的底盘内,并且从底盘延伸到顶盖以保护电器边缘。最后,透明塑料包能够环绕组件伸展以保护电器免受灰尘和污垢。
设想本发明的其它变型和可选实施例,该其它变型和可选实施例不会偏离如上文讲解和所附权利要求所限定的本发明的范围。权利要求意图覆盖落入权利要求范围内的所有这类变型。
Claims (11)
1.一种复合基轨系统,包括具有短直立侧面的底盘和用于缓冲和支撑物体的一对基轨(10),每个基轨(10)包括:
大致平面的基片(14),该基片由第一纸板薄片形成;
折叠构件(16),该折叠构件由第二纸板薄片(30)形成,该折叠构件包括:两个细长的边缘板(18),每个边缘板(18)限定了固定到所述基片(14)的相对侧的表面;两个空间隔开的且向上延伸的凸脊(20),该凸脊在所述边缘板(18)之间沿着所述折叠构件(16)的长度纵向设置,每个凸脊(20)包括扁平的承载负荷的顶部板(24)和内部和外部的向下延伸的侧板(26),每个侧板(26)限定相对于顶部板(24)的夹角;所述折叠构件(16)还包括中心板(22),该中心板靠近基片在内侧板之间延伸并且沿着折叠线连接到内侧板;
凸脊内侧板和中心板限定中心空间的三个侧面;
两个凸脊和基片限定一对细长的空腔(32),每个空腔具有横截面;
至少一个第一弹性泡沫构件(36),该至少一个第一弹性泡沫构件(36)插在所述凸脊(20)之间,从而所述第一弹性泡沫构件(36)被所述中心板(22)和两个内侧板(26)俘获在三个侧面上;和
至少一对第二弹性泡沫构件(38),每个第二弹性泡沫构件(38)紧密配合于两个纵向空腔中相应的一个内,从而每个第二弹性泡沫构件(38)被俘获在两个纵向空腔中的一个空腔内;
其中,所述第二弹性泡沫构件(38)和所述第一弹性泡沫构件(36)沿横向对准;并且
其中,所述基轨(10)放置在所述底盘上,且所述基片(14)靠近所述底盘。
2.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,其中所述基片(14)和所述折叠构件(16)由纸板制成。
3.如权利要求2所述的基轨系统,其中所述折叠构件(16)具有大致呈M形的横截面轮廓。
4.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,其中所述中心板(22)固定到所述基片(14)。
5.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,包括分别设置在所述基轨(10)的两端处的所述第一弹性泡沫构件(36)。
6.如权利要求5所述的基轨系统,包括邻近所述第一弹性泡沫构件(36)、分别设置在所述基轨(10)的两端处的一对所述第二弹性泡沫构件(38)。
7.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,其中所述物体是电器。
8.如权利要求7所述的基轨系统,其中所述电器是冰箱(40)。
9.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,还包括连接所述一对基轨(10)以形成U形基座的横向构件。
10.如权利要求9所述的基轨系统,其中所述横向构件包括角尺板。
11.如权利要求1所述的基轨系统,还包括一对横向构件,该一对横向构件分别在两端处连接所述基轨(10)以形成正方形基座。
