Description

该基材是由金属、金属合金、陶瓷、玻璃、氧化物或基本无机材料组成,特别地,在这后两种情况下,呈在基材(尤其是玻璃基材)上的薄膜涂层形式。该基材是透明的并要求高的光学质量时,本发明具有特别的意义,所述的基材涉及用玻璃或用有一层或多层功能涂层的玻璃制成的基材,这些功能层使所述的基材具有亲水特性时尤其如此。
在许多技术领域中人们都会遇到各种材料、各种组件的装配和并置,它们是传统的(混凝土、砖、钢或混凝土梁、玻璃等),是现代的、预制或合成的(门、窗、镶板、塑料等),在这些不同材料与组件之间需要预备空隙或接缝,因为它们会随着温度或湿度的变化,也会随着在风、粘合物、结构重量和某些组件流动作用下发生的不同运动而有不同尺寸的改变。词″接缝″因此表示在两个无论其性质相同或不同的元素之间的分离线和填料或填缝,或者所希望的连续性解决办法,即在结构中产生直线断裂,以便吸收运动或性能差。

大量填缝和密封的胶粘剂含有硅酮类组分(也称之聚硅氧烷)。这些硅酮胶粘剂的特征在于它们在许多基材上的弹性、耐久性和附着性的性质,于是它们常常用于确保玻璃板在任何载体上的密封性,以及在公共卫生元件与墙体之间的密封性。这些硅酮作为增塑剂也加到许多其它胶粘剂组合物中(以便使该材料具有塑性,甚至弹性)。另外,在胶粘剂表面上添加硅油(低分子量硅酮)有利于它们的使用。因此,含有硅酮类组分的胶粘剂很多,也很不相同。
看来这些硅酮类化合物总是含有或多或少很高比例的低分子量聚硅氧烷(有时称之″硅油″),它们具有往胶粘剂表面迁移,然后迁移到材料表面上的性质,因此被这些硅酮污染的所述表面变得非常难以清洁。这种性质源于这个事实,即这些硅酮的表面能是在这些已知最低表面能中的,因此可以非常容易地润湿任何类型表面,特别是高能量表面。
这种表面具有亲水特性时,这个问题特别显得至关重要,因为这些硅酮化表面是极端疏水的。与水接触时,污染区与非污染区因反差而变得极易可见,因为水非常容易润湿这些亲水表面,产生水膜,而这些疏水表面不被水润湿,这种水以液滴形式停滞不动。
这些亲水表面可能与基材表面状态相关。例如,固有的玻璃或金属表面具有高表面能,因此具有亲水特性,这表现在与水的接触角小于15°。表面的亲水性还可能因赋予这种性能而专门涂布涂层所致。在例如陶瓷或玻璃的基材上,含有至少部分结晶的二氧化钛的涂层,特别地呈锐钛矿晶型二氧化钛的涂层,使所述的基材具有″超-亲水性″性能,其特征在于与水的接触角小于5°,甚至小于1°。例如申请EP-A-0850 204描述了还具有光催化性质的这样一些涂层。其它类型的具有亲水特性的涂层也是已知的。例如应列举SiO2和/或SiOC基涂层,它们含有尺寸约10-200nm图案织构化,特别地呈波形式的图案织构化。
因此,本发明的目的是防止基材表面受到来自含有硅酮类组分的胶粘剂的污染。
为此,本发明的目的是在至少一部分周边上有胶粘剂的基材,所述的胶粘剂含有硅酮类组分,其特征在于在所述基材的表面上放置硅酮迁移阻挡物。
该基材可以用金属、金属合金、陶瓷、玻璃、氧化物或基本无机材料制成的,特别地在其后两种情况下,在基材上(特别在玻璃基材上)呈多薄层涂层形式。本发明的基材优选地是玻璃或陶瓷基的基材,在其中一个表面的至少一部分表面上有至少一层薄层(在这种情况下让该基材表面与外薄层的表面相似,只是一层能被硅酮迁移污染),特别地赋予显著亲水特性的涂层,例如含有至少部分结晶的二氧化钛涂层,特别地呈锐钛矿晶型的二氧化钛涂层,根据上述申请EP-A-0 850204说明书。这样一种涂布基材具有光催化与超亲水的性能,因此使其变得易于在流淌水(特别地雨水)与可见光和/或紫外辐射(例如太阳辐射)联合作用下因除去有机和无机污垢而自清洁。在这后一种紫外辐射情况下,硅酮-基污染事实上对该涂层自清洁活性同样构成中毒(poison)。
在本发明的范围内,″阻挡物″应该理解是任何能够限制,甚至除去硅酮迁移的手段。
根据本发明第一个实施方式,硅酮迁移阻挡物是聚合物基的,优选地,弹性胶粘剂不含有硅酮-基增塑剂。
用作阻挡物的聚合物优选地以线形式沉积在待保护基材表面上,或者与含有硅酮类化合物的胶粘剂直接接触,或者与所述的胶粘剂相距几毫米相对着。这第二种选择是具有这些最大优点的选择。
用作硅酮迁移阻挡物的弹性胶粘剂优选地是聚合物MS-基的。这些MS聚合物是以甲硅烷(sylile)基团为端基的聚醚。这样一种聚合物MS的非限制性实例是由以二甲氧基甲硅烷基团为端基的聚环氧丙烷链组成的聚合物。由于在其主链中没有粘合片段,这些聚合物具有很大的柔软性,经常不需要添加增塑剂(因此不需要硅酮-基增塑剂),甚至不需要溶剂。
令人惊奇而目前还无法解释地出现了有效保护基材表面的这样一些阻挡物。由于这些硅油具有使任何类材料润湿的能力,所以无须想象这样一种阻挡物,无论其性质如何,都可能具有有效的功效。不希望受到任何科学理论的约束,在该聚合物MS组中,该聚合物的非常强功效之源可能来自于在这些硅油与聚合物MS的甲硅烷端基之间的强相互作用。
该阻挡物还可以由厚度优选地为100纳米-2微米的厚层构成,它含有至少部分以锐钛矿晶型结晶的,甚至优选地几乎完全以锐钛矿晶型结晶的二氧化钛。这个层优选地具有很大的比表面:例如涉及采用溶胶-凝胶类法在待保护表面周边沉积的二氧化硅层,所述的二氧化硅层含有二氧化钛微粒,例如像在申请WO-A-03/087002中所描述的。这样一种阻挡物的功效或许在于其非常强的光催化活性,因此这样一些层在可见或紫外辐射下能使这些硅酮分子降解,其降解动力学起作用比所述分子迁移动力学快。
根据第二个实施方式,该硅酮迁移阻挡物可以由位于该基材表面上的刻槽(entaille)或线条(rayure)构成,并且与硅酮源的胶粘剂相对着。有利地,该线条或刻槽的深度是10-200微米,宽度100微米至2毫米。
看来这种线条起着这些硅油的捕集器的作用。该线条的尺寸要随着可以迁移的硅酮量而改变,并且该基材是用易脆材料(例如玻璃或陶瓷)制成时还要考虑可能的脆化作用。
在基材是由涂布至少一层薄层的玻璃-或陶瓷-基基材构成的情况下,本发明的第三个实施方式在于让所述的薄层留出边缘,即在于采用机械和/或化学方法除去所述基材周边的薄层。因此该硅酮迁移阻挡物是由该薄层周边留出边缘构成的。事实上已证实,特别地该薄层是二氧化钛-基时,这些硅酮在玻璃表面上迁移比在该薄层表面上迁移困难。在硅酮的硅原子与玻璃表面的硅原子之间的更强相互作用可能是这样一种现象之源。为了构成有效的阻挡,重要的是如此留出边缘,以致有一个没有被该胶粘剂覆盖的留出边缘区,所述未被覆盖区的宽度有利地是大于或等于0.5cm,甚至1或2cm。人们知道只是留出被该胶粘剂覆盖的边缘区,以避免该薄层具有光催化活性时该胶粘剂被其薄层降解,但不会阻止这些胶粘剂硅酮在该薄层表面上迁移。这样一种周边留出边缘可能伴随造成斜切边缘,也称之斜面。

这里以剖面表示的图2基材1相反地借助利用MS-聚合物-基,更特别地由用二甲氧基甲硅烷基团为端基的聚环氧丙烷链构成的MS-聚合物-基硅酮迁移阻挡物5保护固有表面2。这里沉积直接与胶粘剂3接触的MS-聚合物线5。

Claims (9)

1.基材(1),它在其至少一部分周边上包括含有硅酮类组分的胶粘剂(3),其特征在于在所述基材(1)的表面(2)上放置硅酮迁移阻挡物(5,7,8)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的基材(1),其特征在于它是基于玻璃或陶瓷的,并且在其中一个表面的至少一部分有至少一层薄层(6)。
3.根据上述权利要求中任一项权利要求所述的基材(1),其特征在于所述的薄层(6)是赋予亲水特性的涂层,例如含有至少部分结晶的,特别地以锐钛矿晶型结晶的二氧化钛的涂层。
4.根据上述权利要求中任一项权利要求所述的基材(1),其特征在于该硅酮迁移阻挡物(5)是基于聚合物的,优选地不含有硅酮基增塑剂的弹性胶粘剂。
5.根据上述权利要求中任一项权利要求所述的基材(1),其特征在于用作阻挡物(5)的聚合物以线形式沉积在直接与含有硅酮类化合物的胶粘剂(3)接触的所述基材(1)表面(2)上。
6.根据权利要求4所述的基材(1),其特征在于用作阻挡物(5)的聚合物以线形式沉积在所述基材(1)的表面(2)上,与所述胶粘剂(3)相距几毫米相对着。
7.根据上述权利要求中任一项权利要求所述的基材(1),其特征在于用作硅酮迁移阻挡物的弹性胶粘剂(5)是基于MS聚合物(以甲硅烷基团为端基的聚醚)的。
8.根据权利要求1-3中任一项权利要求所述的基材(1),其特征在于该硅酮迁移阻挡物(8)是用位于所述基材(1)的表面(2)上的刻槽或线条构成,并且对着硅酮源胶粘剂(3)。
9.根据权利要求2所述的基材(1),其特征在于硅酮迁移阻挡物(8)是用该薄层(6)周边留有边缘(7)构成的,所述的留有边缘使得存在没有被胶粘剂(3)覆盖的留有边缘区(7)。
