本发明涉及包括有低通路能量吸收件的汽车部件。
汽车中设有低支承件,用以在万一发生碰撞时保护行人的腿。
这种低支承件应包括一种用来在碰撞瞬间使行人的腿减速到不超过某个阈值的结构,高于此阈值时,行人的腿将会受到严重伤害。
举例来说,已有提供了这种阈值的欧洲标准。
当前所用的低通路通常包括位于汽车内的刚性结构例如金属管以及位于此刚性结构前方且在发生碰撞时变形的能量吸收件。
与这种低通路相关的难题是,上述低通路必须保持于保险杠外壳之后。为使保护有效,最好在能量吸收件与外壳之间留出极小的间隙,从而腿的压破行程被完全利用以吸收碰撞能。
但已知将任何部件紧固到塑料制的车身的外壳上时会产生外观问题,这是由于焊接之后在外壳的可见表面上呈显痕迹,或者在与肋材或与紧固片成直角处产生缩孔。
本发明提供一种新颖的部件,它在保险杠外壳和形成低通路的刚性结构之间起到能量吸收件的作用,同时能无任何困难地紧固到保险杠外壳之上。
本发明提供的汽车部件包括定位于保险杠外壳与固定在车身上的刚性结构之间的能量吸收件,其特征在于包括与能量吸收件连成一体的进气格栅,所述格栅设有用来紧固到保险杠外壳上的紧固装置。
本发明的部件因而是进气格栅与位于低通路刚性结构和保险杠外壳之间的能量吸收件联合成单一部件的结果。
一般,将上述格栅紧固到保险杠外壳上不会带来困难,因为形成于保险杠外壳中的进气口的开口边缘可以包括与进气口开口外周卡接、粘接或焊接的装置。
这样,本发明的部件便可以由通常仅为进气格栅设置的紧固装置紧固于保险杠外壳上。
由于在刚性结构和保险杠外壳之间起到撑杆作用的能量吸收件,使保险杠的外形容易适应于刚性结构提供的几何形约束,当保险杠的轮廓非常显著时也如此。
在本发明的一特殊实施形式中,上述格栅与能量吸收件一体形成,例如它们是从同一模制作业中获得的。
此格栅与能量吸收件最好由塑料制成。
为了能更好地理解本发明,下面参考附图说明以不限制于本发明范围的例子给出实施形式,附图中:
图1是前保险杠外壳连同本发明一实施形式的部件的内视图;
图2是以较大比例示明与该保险杠分开的图1的部件的视图;以及
图3是图1中平面III-III上的透视图和剖面图;
附图中所示的保险杠1的外壳,是由聚丙烯制成,且在中央部分与其下部区中包括用于供应冷却回路(魏图示)的进气口3。
整体式部件5相对保险杠外壳的内表面放置(示明于图1),与进气口3对准且沿着此外壳的下边缘7。
上述部件5可以于图2中更好地看清,包括形成取常规结构的进气格栅的上部5a与形成用于行人的冲击能吸收件的下部5b。
图3更清楚地示明了进气格栅与能量吸收件的形状。
上述格栅具有U形截面轮廓9,由于设置在外壳上的常规凸起形和设置在格栅的U形截面的轮廓9中的切割部分12允许沿空气入口3的轮廓卡接在保险杠的外壳1上。
上述能量吸收件是由平行车辆的纵向X的肋材11网络形成。
图2中可以看到,垂向(相对图面而言)肋11a界定出矩形剖面蜂窝,而在此蜂窝中形成有斜肋11b交叉结构。
肋材的这种分布形式是周知的,用来吸收沿车辆纵向X指向的碰撞能。
碰撞时,肋材11在行人的腿陷入到此保险杠内时弯曲。
可以看到,此能量吸收件在其背面上所取的形状能适合在所示的这一例子中由金属管13组成的结构部件。
类似地,此能量吸收件在前面基本上可匹配保险杠外壳1的内侧面,以使这种保险杠能与金属管的外形配合。
这样,如果保险杠呈现极显明的轮廓,就不需要金属管遵循这种轮廓,因为此能量吸收件可(沿纵向X)具有在汽车宽度不同的点处变化的长度。
此外,上述肋材的分布可以根据沿横向Y的布置而改变,如图2所示,以使在此汽车宽度所有点上相对于能量吸收件的变形的阻力最优化。
上述格栅与能量吸收件是通过格栅的下缘15相连,而此下缘15与能量吸收件的上平面17相连接,由于这两部分是在一次模制作业中得到的,因而它们连成一体。
在此格栅两侧,垂向(垂直于图中所示位置)腹板19有助于将格栅与能量吸收件连接从而使其加固。
此外,与格栅正交(在图中所示位置处)且垂直的肋21有助于保持大致垂直的格栅与能量吸收件的上平面17形成的直角。
自然,上述实施例并不具有限制特征,它可以在不超出本发明范围的情形下以任何所需方式修正。
特别是上述格栅与能量吸收件可以由两个相分开的部件组成,这两个部件可由足够结实的连接装置连成一体,以确保此能量吸收件可由在保险杠外壳上固定格栅的唯一固定装置牢靠地保持于外壳的后方。

Claims (5)

1.一种汽车部件,包括设置在保险杠外壳(1)与固定在车身上的刚性结构(13)之间的能量吸收件(5b),其特征在于,包括与此能量吸收件连成一体的进气格栅(5a),此格栅设有用于紧固到保险杠外壳上的固定装置(12)。
2.权利要求1的汽车部件,其中所述能量吸收件(5b)是低通路能量吸收件。
3.权利要求1或2的汽车部件,其中所述格栅与能量吸收件一体实施。
4.权利要求3的汽车部件,其中所述格栅与能量吸收件是通过同一模制作业获得。
5.权利要求1-4中任一项的汽车部件,其中所述格栅与能量吸收件是由塑料制成。
