Abstract

一种快干铸铁涂料由石墨、陶土、滑石粉、石英粉、树脂、硅胶和有机溶剂组成。适用于树脂砂、合脂砂、水玻璃砂型或型芯喷涂、浸涂或刷涂。涂后可点燃干燥硬化,也可自干。使用本发明涂料可有效地防止粘砂,并可使铸铁表面粗糙度的平均值达到9-5μm,同时材料成本低廉。

Description

本发明是铸铁砂型和型芯所用的涂料组合物。
为了减少砂型和型芯的损耗,减少清理工时,省去烘干工艺过程,与各类的化学硬化砂造型工艺配套,应采用快干铸铁涂料代替水基铸铁涂料。
根据SU621445A中的铸铁快干涂料,主要成分有石墨、粘土、滑石粉、有机粘结剂等,因其中有机粘结剂含量较高,高达1.6-2.5%,故发气量较高。
本发明的目的是配制一种悬浮性高,发气量低,能降低铸件表面粗糙度的快干铸铁涂料。
本发明的特点是加入了石英粉、硅胶和陶土,其主要成分为石墨、滑石粉、树脂和有机溶剂,并重量组成是:石墨31-37%,陶土0.8-1.5%,滑石粉0.4-3%,石英粉0-10%,树脂0.2-0.88%,硅胶0.2-2%及有机溶剂组成。将以上各组分材料混合,在球磨机中密闭研磨0.5-2小时,或者在密闭容器中混辗或搅拌0.5-2小时即可成为本发明的涂料。
本发明经测试,八小时悬浮性测定值为95%以上,发气量低于15mL/g,在1200℃加热两分钟测出高温抗裂性为一级。
本发明另一个特点是大大减少了树脂用量,用硅胶代替部分树脂,从而既降低了涂料的材料成本,也降低了发气量,解决了铸件易呛火的问题,提高了铸件的质量。
本发明适用于树脂砂、合脂砂、水玻璃砂型或型芯喷涂、浸涂或刷涂均可。使用前须搅拌均匀,在使用中不必搅拌,涂敷遍数和涂层厚度以使砂型和型芯的砂眼完全复盖为宜,要求使涂层形成平滑表面涂后可点燃干燥硬化,也可以使其自干硬化。本涂料在浇注铁水的高温下,即被烧结成陶瓷层,冷却后易与铸件剥离不粘砂,同时可降低铸件的表面粗糙度,从而减轻清砂的劳动强度。
实施例1的配比:石墨31%,陶土0.8%,滑石粉3%,树脂0.2%,硅胶2%和有机溶剂。在树脂砂型上喷涂涂料,浇注铸铁件后,微有粘砂,表面较为粗糙。

使用在树脂砂芯上喷涂涂料,可完全防止粘砂,涂层被浇结后,易与铸件剥离,铸件的内腔表面粗糙度平均值可达到9-5μm。

1、一种主要成分有石墨、滑石粉、树脂和有机溶剂的快干铸铁涂料,其特征在于含有石英粉、硅胶和陶土;组分的重量比为石墨31-37%,陶土0.8-1.5%,滑石粉0.4-3%,石英粉0-10%,树脂0.2-0.88%,硅胶0.2-2%,其余为有机溶剂。
