发明领域
本发明涉及一种用于地面、墙壁或天花板的表面处理结构,尤其涉及具有一个或多个掩缝条的阔幅或拼块织物覆盖物,该掩缝条形成补充的美观设计特征。
背景技术
常规表面处理结构的一种形式是织物覆盖物,例如阔幅卷轴毯子或拼块毯子。术语“毯子”或“覆盖物”这里是指应用于地面、墙壁或天花板上的毯子。尤其在商业设施中,毯子的主要和固有的缺陷在于,在长时间使用后毯子的美观特征的外观保持性衰退。例如,在商业设施中,以及在住宅中,邻近门口或大交通量的区域放置的毯子绒头(carpetpile)迅速地褪色,外观上带有非常显著的退化特征。常规毯子的另一个示例是用在椅子、手推车或其他物品的轮子和/或小脚轮频繁使用的位置上。毯子的外观在这种区域也急速退化。
发明内容
在共同的专利受让人的未决的美国专利申请(序列号为09/846782,申请日为2001年5月2日,代理人文档号11-902)中披露的内容结合于此作为参考,其披露了一种表面处理结构,其中露出的表面,通常是覆盖物的磨损表面,包括毯子的部分底衬表面,其中毯子绒头通常是不清楚的。可以理解,例如用于簇绒毯子的底衬通常起到支撑绒头的作用,而不是给予毯子任何美感。对于大部分毯子来说,底衬被绒头整个地遮盖,在毯子的美观设计上不起任何作用。在该专利申请中披露的毯子结构中,簇绒的回针针迹和底衬的露出部分形成了处理表面的美观部分。由此得到的表面处理结构提供了一个密集的、低轮廓(low-profile)的表面,该表面保留其纺织美感并使得滚动运输,例如床、椅子等在毯子上方移动,而基本上不造成毯子外观的退化。在那个毯子的示例中,底衬在某些区域相对底衬以颠倒的方式成簇,从而簇绒的回针针迹与底衬的露出部分形成了露出的典型磨损面。

具体实施方式
现参考附图,尤其是图1,示出了一个覆盖物,其代表了依照本发明的优选实施例构造的用于表面处理结构的各种覆盖物,一般用附图标记10表示。覆盖物10包括编织的聚丙烯底衬12,其以常规的形式通过使织构的或非织构的连续长丝或细纱14穿过编织的底衬,沿着底衬12的底侧形成毛圈线(looped yarn)16而成簇。该簇绒工艺是常规的,且任何形式的纤维,例如聚酯、聚烯烃(例如,聚乙烯或聚丙烯)、聚乳酸或聚酰胺(例如,尼龙)都可随意地用作成簇纱线。而且,尽管已说明成簇的连续毛圈线16是在底衬12的背面,但是易于理解,一圈或多圈毛圈线16可包括沿着底衬12的背面的割绒纱线。编织的底衬也具有紫外线(UV)稳定剂,以保护其不受紫外线的褪色作用。即,底衬优选由带有UV稳定剂的编织的聚丙烯形成,在形成底衬的聚丙烯纱线的挤压过程中添加该UV稳定剂。

现参照图3,在编织的聚丙烯底衬12的场合,设有一个非编织的底衬40,其尤其在拼块毯子织料(即,组合毯子)中有用。该非编织的底衬优选由尼龙和聚酯纤维的混合物形成。那些纤维被减缩并混合在一起,通过热辊之间以使纤维变平,从而形成合成的平板结构。聚酯纤维基本上使尼龙纤维相互粘合。然后可使用断纱或连续的毛圈线14使这种板成簇,从而形成大尺寸稳定的底衬。
能够为非编织的底衬提供任何一种Unibond材料,且编织的稀松布用作第二层底衬或者针粘合的合成纤维底衬,同时该非编织的底衬不必用于阔幅毯子。优选地,且为了用于拼块毯子织料,向非编织的底衬提供PVC底衬。特别地,将PVC预涂层42涂布到成簇的毛圈线14上,以沿着非编织的底衬40的下侧在适当的位置限制并锁定毛圈线14。然后较重PVC的主涂层44与用于增强稳定性的玻璃纤维稳定剂层一起被涂布。上述的毯子是毯子类型的代表,其可用在本发明中,但本发明并不限于此。常规毯子的其他类型可用作本发明的一部分。

在掩缝条的优选实施例中,掩缝条的总宽度可为1-1/8英寸,翼缘的厚度为0.040英寸。立栅52可从掩缝条的底面向边缘58突出0.230英寸,且立栅的宽度可以是0.110英寸。易于理解,掩缝条的长度可以根据安装要求而改变。例如,掩缝条的长度可以是12英尺。因此,在图5中,掩缝条可以设在相邻覆盖物条间的缝隙中。覆盖物可以是各种宽度(例如4、6或8英尺宽度)的卷轴形式,掩缝条在卷轴覆盖物的安装的纵向方向上延伸。因此,将掩缝条设在覆盖物条之间,且因此放置并出现在覆盖区域的范围内。
参照图6,易于理解,可以成块的形式(例如,线性的小方毯70)来进行表面处理结构,掩缝条沿着小方毯边缘布置且相互垂直。在这个结构中,靠近相互成直角的掩缝条的结合处的立栅可被底切,从而掩缝条位于整个表面处理结构内的连续高处。因此,一个掩缝条的立栅可以覆盖连续延伸的、相互成直角的细长掩缝条的翼缘,从而以所示的格子形式提供连续的边缘。
当然,也可以提供其他设计。例如,在图7中,覆盖物块(coveringtile)80可以是三角形式的,掩缝条沿着三角块的相邻边缘的接缝延伸。
易于理解,使用织物覆盖物和掩缝条的组合可为覆盖物提供各种其他的美观特征。通过使用形成露出的磨损表面的一部分的簇绒的回针针迹,以及使用在优选的织物覆盖物中也形成露出的磨损表面部分的底衬,回针针迹、底衬部分和掩缝条的边缘的结合给予了许多美观愉悦的设计可能性。也在此指出,掩缝条加强了结构。而且,因为与常规长毛绒结构相比较,短毛绒的缓冲降低,所以沿着覆盖物的接缝的金属掩缝条(在整个覆盖物的边缘内部)不妨碍轮子或小脚轮的通过,并且不给予任何与短毛绒结构不同的脚下感觉。此外,掩缝条的露出边缘能够被染色或者织构,从而补偿毗连的织物覆盖物的美观特征。
虽然本发明已经叙述了有关目前考虑的最实际的且最优选的实施例,易于理解,本发明并不受限于已披露的实施例,相反,本发明将覆盖在附属的权利要求的精神和范围内的各种修改和等效的配置。
Claims (13)
1、一种用于地面、墙壁或者天花板的表面处理结构,包括:
织物覆盖物,其用于覆盖地面、墙壁或者天花板,并且在其相邻部分间具有接缝,所述覆盖物具有露出平面,该露出平面与该覆盖物的一表面相对,该表面对准并重叠覆盖地面、墙壁或天花板;
细长的单个掩缝条,其包括带有上边缘的立栅和从所述立栅的相对两侧沿着所述立栅的底部横向延伸的翼缘,所述翼缘位于靠近所述接缝的所述覆盖物的限界边缘之下,所述立栅从所述翼缘在所述限界边缘之间向上延伸,且终止在所述露出平面上或者在所述露出平面之下,所述立栅的所述上边缘穿过所述织物覆盖物的所述露出平面而露出,且与所述织物覆盖物一起形成露出的装饰表面,所述覆盖物的所述限界边缘和所述翼缘粘附地相互固定。
2、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述翼缘沿着所述掩缝条连续地延伸。
3、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述翼缘是由金属形成的。
4、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述立栅的所述边缘终止在所述露出平面之下。
5、如权利要求1所示的表面处理结构,其特征在于,每个所述翼缘都具有至少两倍于所述立栅的宽度的横向范围。
6、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,至少一个所述翼缘具有多个用于接纳紧固件的开口,该紧固件用于将掩缝条固定到地面、墙壁或者天花板上。
7、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述掩缝条由金属形成,且所述翼缘沿着所述掩缝条的相对侧连续地延伸,每个所述翼缘都具有至少两倍于所述立栅的宽度的横向范围,所述立栅的所述边缘终止在所述覆盖物的所述露出平面之下,所述翼缘具有多个用于接纳紧固件的孔,该紧固件用于将掩缝条固定到地面、墙壁或者天花板上,所述覆盖物的所述限界边缘和所述翼缘粘附地相互固定。
8、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述织物覆盖物在其第二相邻部分之间具有第二接缝,细长的第二掩缝条包括带有上边缘的第二立栅和翼缘,该翼缘从相对侧沿着所述第二立栅的下部横向延伸,所述第二掩缝条的翼缘位于靠近所述第二接缝的、所述覆盖物的所述第二相邻部分的限界边缘之下,所述第二立栅从所述第二掩缝条的翼缘在形成第二接缝的覆盖物的限界边缘之间向上延伸,并终止在所述露出平面上或者在所述露出平面之下,所述第二立栅的所述上边缘通过所述织物覆盖物的所述露出平面而露出,从而与所述织物覆盖物一起形成一个露出的装饰表面。
9、如权利要求8所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述掩缝条相互平行。
10、如权利要求8所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述掩缝条相互成角度放置。
11、如权利要求8所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述织物覆盖物是块状形式,其中,所述织物覆盖物通过所述掩缝条在所有侧面上相互结合。
12、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述织物覆盖物包括底衬,该底衬在所述覆盖物的一侧部分露出,以形成所述覆盖物的磨损表面的不连续磨损表面部分,许多纱线沿着所述底衬的剩余部分成簇进入所述底衬,并在所述底衬的背面、远离所述磨损表面形成断纱或者毛圈线,并留下成簇纱线的许多回针针迹且形成所述露出磨损表面的剩余部分,以及树脂沿着所述底衬的背面固定所述断纱或成簇毛圈线,沿着所述露出的磨损表面露出的所述回针针迹和所述底衬部分具有相互不同的美观特征,且与所述立栅的所述边缘一起形成所述覆盖物的装饰的露出表面。
13、如权利要求1所述的表面处理结构,其特征在于,所述织物覆盖物包括编织的底衬,该底衬具有在其一侧露出的成簇的和非成簇的部分,以形成覆盖物的露出磨损表面的不连续磨损表面部分,所述成簇部分包括许多纱线,这些纱线成簇进入所述底衬、并在远离所述磨损表面的所述底衬的背面形成断纱或毛圈线,并留下成簇纱线的许多回针针迹且形成所述磨损表面的一部分,以及树脂沿着所述底衬的背面固定所述断纱或成簇毛圈线,所述非成簇的部分包括所述底衬的经纱和纬纱,所述底衬的所述成簇的和非成簇的部分沿着所述磨损表面露出,具有相互不同的美观表面。
