本发明涉及用于令牙齿外观比原有外观更白的新方法,更具体说,涉及一种令牙齿外观明显增白的方法。该方法包括令增白组分渗透入牙釉质中以使增白组分替换牙釉质中的水,从而改变牙釉质的光学特性(折射率、反射比等),而不发生化学反应如漂白作用。本发明还涉及一种牙齿增白组合物和牙齿增白装置。
背景技术
多种方法被用于令牙齿外观洁白。它们可分为两类。(1)一种是试图去除牙齿上附着的污迹,从而令牙齿看上去与原来一样洁白。(2)一种是试图令牙齿看上去比原来更白。
第一种方法中包括物理方式,如用牙刷和含磨料的牙用产品刷牙,和化学方式,如采用溶解剂(例如乙二醇和聚乙烯吡咯烷酮)、酶、螯合剂等分解污迹。
第二种方法包括采用过氧化物进行漂白(常被西方采用),采用遮盖剂包覆(典型的为牙齿修饰),和层压饰面技术。
近来增长的对牙齿健康和美学欣赏的兴趣已经将牙齿增白的方法从“清洁”转移到“令牙齿看上去洁白”。但是,尽管被限制使用的漂白试剂是牙科医师可商购的,但由于采用过氧化物进行漂白过程复杂和危险,其并未被批准用于家用。另一方面,修饰用涂层缺乏自然的外观和缺乏持久性(在饮食过程中会剥落)。层压饰面技术属于牙医领域。此外,其需要打磨健康牙齿的表面,即使在患者对手术结果不满意的情况下,经打磨的表面也无法再复原。
由于上述原因,需要对“令牙齿看上去洁白”的常规技术进行改进。这种改进需要满足以下要求:美学欣赏、使用简便和安全、不包含化学反应、以及在结果不满意的情况下易于复原。
在可逆(可复原)的常规牙齿增白技术中,不包括化学反应的技术是采用虫胶、乙酸乙烯树脂或丙烯酸类树脂构成的涂饰层进行涂覆,如见于日本公开特许公报4-82821,5-58844,9-100215,9-202718和9-151123。但这些技术在色调和持久性方面仍有改进的空间。
发明公开
本发明的目的是提供一种令牙齿外观洁白的方法,用于该方法的牙齿增白组合物,以及牙齿增白装置。该方法包括改变牙釉质的光学特性,而不发生化学反应如漂白作用。
本发明者业已发现,采用不同于常规方法的一种全新方法可令牙齿外观增白。该方法包括令增白组分渗透入牙釉质中替换其中的水,从而改变牙釉质的光学特性(折射率、反射比等),而不发生化学反应如漂白作用。
本发明提供了一种在水存在下可逆的、令牙齿外观洁白的方法。该方法包括令牙齿增白组分渗透入牙釉质表面并保留在牙釉质中,由此改变牙釉质的光学特性而不发生化学反应,从而令牙釉质看上去明显浊化,并且比原来白。牙釉质的可变光学特性包括折射率和反射比。本发明还提供了一种用于上述方法的牙齿增白组合物。该组合物含有牙齿增白组分,其液体组分的折射率为1.35至1.50(采用阿贝折射计,在20℃下经钠D谱线测定出)。牙齿增白组分是选自以下的一种或多种:含4个或4个以下碳原子的低级醇,含10个或10个以下碳原子的二醇,聚乙二醇,甘油,和双甘油,其中增白组分与水的重量比至少为30/70。
本发明还提供了一种牙齿增白装置,其中包括上述的牙齿增白组合物和一种涂敷该组合物的工具,所述工具装有牙齿增白组合物时,其可拆卸地贴合在牙齿上。该施用工具可以是以下形式:条带、薄片、膜、牙托、口腔垫(mouth tray)、口腔片(mouth piece)、海绵、压印材料、包裹材料、与齿列吻合的牙齿覆层、在其表面上有多个可与牙齿接触的与齿列吻合的凸起的咀嚼刷(chewing brush),这些工具均由水不溶性材料制成。采用上述牙齿增白方法时希望采用该施用工具。
发明的最佳实施方式
以下更详细地说明本发明。
采用本发明的牙齿增白方法可达到本发明的目的,因为牙齿增白组分可保留在牙齿表面,从而渗透入牙釉质内替换其中的水,改变牙釉质的光学特性(折射率、反射比等),由此令牙釉质看上去显著浊化和洁白。因此,该方法由于不包括化学反应从而是高度安全的。增白后,经处理的牙齿可在数小时内恢复原色,因为渗透到牙釉质内的增白组分逐渐被唾液中的水替换。该牙齿增白方法是可逆的,并且由此适于家用护理。
通过对牙齿采用可贴合在牙齿上的工具可有效地实施本发明的牙齿增白方法,其中工具中装有含牙齿增白组分的组合物(可为液状、糊状、凝胶。泡沫或粉末形式)。
本发明中,牙齿增白组合物所含的增白组分优选是选自以下的一种或多种:含4个或4个以下碳原子的低级醇,含10个或10以下碳原子的二醇,聚乙二醇,甘油,和双甘油。
对适用于本发明的低级醇没有特殊限制,只要其含有4个或4个以下碳原子。优选的实例包括:乙醇,异丙醇,正丙醇和正丁醇。
对适用于本发明的甘油没有特殊限制,只要其含有10个或10个以下碳原子。优选的实例包括:丙二醇、双甘油、乙二醇、一缩二丙二醇和1,3-丁二醇。
适用于本发明的聚乙二醇的分子量优选为200-800,更优选为200-600。分子量小于200或大于800时,其不能产生令人满意的增白效果。
本发明中,含有增白组分的牙齿增白组合物的特征在于:其中含有折射率为1.35至1.50(采用阿贝折射计,在20℃下经钠D谱线测定出)的液体组分。折射率大于1.50时,组合物不能产生令人满意的牙齿增白效果。折射率小于1.35时,组合物会产生不自然的白色。
适用于本发明的增白组分优选是与水的混合物形式,增白组分与水之比(重量比)至少为30/70,更优选至少为40/60(甚至高至100/0)。当该重量比小于30/70时,增白组分不能产生令人满意的效果。
本发明中,对含有增白组分的牙齿增白组合物没有特殊限制,但增白组分的用量应满足以下条件。组合物的沥出液体组分中含有增白组分,其中增白组分与水之比(重量比)至少为30/70或更高。增白组分的用量优选占组合物总量的20%-100%,特别是25%-100%(以重量计;下文中%均代表“%重量”)。
本发明的增白组合物中除含有上述增白组分外,还可根据剂型任选地含有以下组分。
例如,该增白组合物藉助于采用胶凝剂,可以凝胶或糊状形式应用,从而便于其涂敷或附着在牙齿上。胶凝剂的实例包括纤维素衍生物(如羟乙基纤维素,羧甲基纤维素钠,和甲基纤维素),树胶(如藻酸钠,角叉菜胶,黄原胶,黄蓍胶,阿拉伯树胶,jellan树胶,和天然jellan树胶),合成粘结剂(如聚乙烯醇,聚丙烯酸钠,羧乙烯聚合物,聚乙烯吡咯烷酮,和聚环氧乙烷),以及无机粘结剂(如硅胶,铝硅胶,蜂胶,和laponite)。它们可单独使用或彼此混合。
这些实例中,优选采用羟乙基纤维素,羧甲基纤维素钠,藻酸钠,角叉菜胶,黄原胶,天然jellan树胶,聚乙烯醇和羧乙烯聚合物作为胶凝剂,因为它们的使用感好(无油腻感并可在口中溶解)。特别希望采用羟乙基纤维素,羧甲基纤维素钠,藻酸钠,角叉菜胶,黄原胶和羧乙烯聚合物。
上述胶凝剂的用量可占增白组合物总重量的0.1%-15%,特别是0.5%-10%,从而在与条带、薄片或牙齿覆层结合使用时,该增白组合物本身可紧密地附着在牙齿上。当用量小于上述限定时,胶凝剂无法产生所需的附着力,令增白组合物难于与条带、薄片或牙齿覆层结合使用。当应用过量时,胶凝剂会因不能完全溶解而形成非均质的组合物。
此外,为了乳化和分散,增白组合物中还可含有一种或多种表面活性剂,选自:阴离子表面活性剂,非离子表面活性剂和两性表面活性剂。对其用量没有特殊限制,但通常占组合物总量的0.1%-10%,特别是0.1%-5%。
阴离子表面活性剂的实例有:烷基硫酸钠(如月桂基硫酸钠,肉豆蔻基硫酸钠和鲸蜡基硫酸钠);N-酰基-谷氨酸钠(如N-月桂酰谷氨酸钠,和N-酰基肌氨酸谷氨酸钠);N-酰基肌氨酸钠(如N-月桂酰肌氨酸钠和N-肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸钠);N-甲基-N-酰基牛磺酸钠(如N-月桂酰-甲基-牛磺酸钠和N-肉豆蔻酰-甲基牛磺酸钠);N-甲基-N-酰基丙氨酸,月桂基苯磺酸钠,氢化椰油脂肪酸单甘酯单硫酸钠,月桂基磺基乙酸钠,α-烯烃磺酸钠,月桂基POE硫酸钠,月桂基POE乙酸钠,月桂基POE磷酸钠,以及硬脂基POE磷酸钠。
非离子表面活性剂的实例包括:甘油脂肪酸酯(如硬脂酸单甘油酯和十甘油月桂酸酯),糖脂肪酸酯(如蔗糖脂肪酸酯,麦芽糖脂肪酸酯,和乳糖脂肪酸酯);糖醇脂肪酸酯(如麦芽糖醇脂肪酸酯和乳糖醇脂肪酸酯);聚氧乙烯脱水山梨醇脂肪酸酯(如聚氧乙烯脱水山梨醇单月桂酸酯和聚氧乙烯脱水山梨醇单硬脂酸酯),聚氧乙烯脂肪酸酯(如聚氧乙烯硬化蓖麻油(caster oil)),脂肪酸乙醇酰胺(如单-或二-乙醇酰胺肉豆蔻酸酯),脱水山梨醇脂肪酸酯,聚氧乙烯高级醇醚,聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯共聚物,和聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯脂肪酸酯。
两性表面活性剂的实例包括:烷基二甲基氨基乙酸甜菜碱(如月桂基二甲基氨基乙酸甜菜碱),N-烷基二氨基乙基甘油(如N-月桂基氨基乙基甘油和N-肉豆蔻基二氨基乙基甘油),N-烷基-N-羧甲基铵甜菜碱,和2-烷基-1-羟乙基咪唑啉甜菜碱。
本发明的增白组合物中还可含有一种或多种以下列举的辅剂:酶(如葡聚糖酶,突变酶,溶菌酶,淀粉酶,蛋白酶,细胞溶解酶(lyticenzyme),和超氧化物歧化酶);单氟磷酸金属盐(如单氟磷酸钠和单氟磷酸钾),含氟化合物(如焦磷酸钾,三聚磷酸钠,和氟化钠),水溶性聚磷酸盐(如偏磷酸钠),尿囊素,二氢胆甾烷醇,甘草酸,甘草次酸,ε-氨基-己酸,氨甲环酸,红没药醇,异丙基甲基苯酚,氯化钠,三氯生,氯己定盐,鲸蜡基氯化吡啶嗡,苄索氯铵,苯扎氯铵,抗坏血酸及其盐,生育酚,以及生药提取物(如黄芩提取物,黄柏皮提取物,迷迭香,丁香和百里香)。
本发明的增白组合物中还可含有矫味剂(如薄荷醇,茴香脑,香芹酮,椒样薄荷和留兰香),防腐剂(如苯甲酸及其钠盐,和对羟基苯甲酸酯类),染料或着色剂(如3号红,104号红,4号黄,1号蓝,3号绿,二氧化钛包覆的云母,以及氧化铁红),以及甜味剂(如糖精钠,卡哈苡苷,甘草甜素,天冬甜素)。
对增白组合物的pH并无特殊限制,只要其pH值对口腔和人体无害。适当的pH是5.5-9。为调整pH,该增白组合物中可加入以下成分中的任一种:盐酸,硫酸,硝酸,柠檬酸,磷酸,氢氧化钠,氢氧化钾,碳酸钠,柠檬酸钠,柠檬酸氢钠,磷酸钠,和磷酸氢钠。
如上所述,本发明的增白组合物优选与特殊的工具共用涂敷在牙齿上,并保留在牙齿的接触部位上。该工具可防止组合物在使用中在牙龈、舌头和口腔粘膜上溶解。此外,其消除了不适感和过量的唾液分泌,并能防止唾液进入而稀释组合物,和防止通过咬合和咀嚼从牙齿上脱离。对其材料和形状并无特殊限制,只要其可达到上述发明目的。其可由水不溶性材料形成,并且其可以是以下形式:条带,薄片,膜,牙托,口腔垫(mouth tray)、口腔片(mouth piece)、海绵、压印材料、包裹材料、与齿列吻合的牙齿覆层、在其表面上有多个可与牙齿接触的与齿列吻合的凸起的咀嚼刷(chewing brush)。
上述的工具优选厚度为0.01mm至5mm,从而其在口腔中不会造成不适感。条带、薄片或膜的厚度优选为0.01mm至2mm。
上述的工具优选由可在口腔中具有宜人感并能在使用中防止过量唾液分泌的材料形成,从而可令组合物在口腔中保留较长时间。这类材料的实例包括:聚乙烯,泡沫聚乙烯,聚丙烯,泡沫聚丙烯,聚酯,人造纤维,纸浆,棉,丝和纸。其可单用或与其他材料共用。优选的实例有聚乙烯,泡沫聚乙烯,聚丙烯,泡沫聚丙烯,聚酯和人造纤维。该工具也可由两种材料构成。换言之,工具与口腔粘膜和舌头接触的一面优选由亲水吸收性材料构成,如由布或无纺布或人造纤维,纸浆,棉,丝或纸构成。这类材料可吸收唾液,从而具有宜人的感觉。工具盛装增白组合物的那一面优选由聚乙烯,聚丙烯或聚酯一类不透水膜形成。这类膜可防止增白组合物被吸收或渗入工具。

当牙齿增白组合物为液体或低粘度液体时(其不能与牙齿紧密粘合),可在牙齿覆层或牙托内部包覆浸润有该组合物的海绵(或由水分吸收性材料如人造纤维、棉和纸浆构成的类似物)。用户可通过咬合牙齿覆层或牙托持续固定该工具,从而使组合物在他们或她们的牙齿上具有适宜的涂敷量。
应对使用的频率和持续时间进行适当选择。通常,每日1次至6次(特别是每日1次至3次),以及每剂1至120分钟(特别是1至60分钟)。睡眠中也可应用。
实施例
采用以下实施例和对照例更详细地描述本发明,其对本发明的范围并不构成限定。顺便提及,用于以下实施例的增白组分的折光率均为1.35-1.50。
实施例1和对照实施例1
对拔取的人体牙齿进行如下实验,其中对牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)进行了预先测定。用浸润有下述液体化合物(100%浓度)的脱脂棉包裹该牙齿,所得的实物在37℃下、密封的玻璃瓶中放置1小时。再次测定牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)。采用处理前后测定值的变化值ΔL和Δb来计算牙齿的白度(Δ|L|+Δ|b|),其为效果(1)测定。
经上述处理的牙齿再次在37℃下、密封的玻璃瓶中放置1小时,玻璃瓶中含有10ml 37℃的水。然后再次测定牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)。采用处理前后测定值的变化值ΔL和Δb来计算牙齿的白度(Δ|L|+Δ|b|),其为延长效果(2)测定。所得结果见表1。

实施例2和对照实施例2
对拔取的人体牙齿进行如下实验,其中对牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)进行了预先测定。用PP无纺布包裹该牙齿,其中PP无纺布上涂敷有含50%下述增白化合物、0.5%jellan树胶和49.5%水的凝胶,所得的实物在37℃下、密封的玻璃瓶中放置1小时。再次测定牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)。采用处理前后测定值的变化值ΔL和Δb来计算牙齿的白度(Δ|L|+Δ|b|),其为效果(3)测定。
经上述处理的牙齿再次在37℃下、密封的玻璃瓶中放置1小时,玻璃瓶中含有10ml 37℃的水。然后再次测定牙齿的L*a*b*值(CIE)。采用处理前后测定值的变化值ΔL和Δb来计算牙齿的白度(Δ|L|+Δ|b|),其为延长效果(4)测定。所得结果见表2。

本发明提供了一种令牙齿外观明显增白的方法,通过使牙齿增白组分渗透入牙釉质并保留在其中,由此牙齿增白组分可改变牙釉质的光学特性(折射率,反射比等)。在水的存在下,经处理的牙齿可恢复原色。
Claims (6)
1.一种在水存在下可逆的令牙齿外观洁白的方法,所述方法包括使牙齿增白组合物与牙齿接触,令牙齿增白组分经牙釉质表面渗透入牙釉质并保留在牙釉质中,由此改变牙釉质的光学特性而不发生化学反应,从而令牙釉质看上去明显浊化,并且比原来白,所述牙齿增白组合物的牙齿增白组分选自以下至少一种:含10个或10以下碳原子的二醇,具有200-600的分子量的聚乙二醇,其中增白组分与水的重量比不小于30/70,其中包含牙齿增白组分的牙齿增白组合物的特征在于它包括采用阿贝折射计,在20℃下经钠D谱线测定折射率为1.35-1.50的液体组分。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中牙齿增白组分存在于可贴合在牙齿上的施用工具中,从而牙齿增白组分可与牙釉质表面接触,并且该工具易于从牙釉质上卸除。
3.权利要求2的方法,其中所述施用工具是以下形式:条带、薄片、膜、牙托、口腔垫、口腔片、海绵、压印材料、包裹材料、与齿列吻合的牙齿覆层、与齿列吻合并在其表面上有多个可与牙齿接触的凸起的咀嚼刷,均由水不溶性材料制成。
4.用于实施权利要求1的在水存在下可逆的令牙齿外观洁白的方法的牙齿增白组合物,包括由以下至少一种组成的牙齿增白组分:含10个或10个以下碳原子的二醇,具有200-600的分子量的聚乙二醇,其中增白组分与水的重量比不小于30/70,其中包含牙齿增白组分的牙齿增白组合物的特征在于它包括采用阿贝折射计,在20℃下经钠D谱线测定折射率为1.35-1.50的液体组分。
5.一种牙齿增白装置,其中包括权利要求4的牙齿增白组合物和施用工具,该施用工具装有牙齿增白组合物时可贴合在牙齿上,并且其易于从牙釉质上卸除。
6.权利要求5的牙齿增白装置,其中施用工具是以下形式:条带、薄片、膜、牙托、口腔垫、口腔片、海绵、压印材料、包裹材料、与齿列吻合的牙齿覆层、与齿列吻合并在其表面上有多个可与牙齿接触的凸起的咀嚼刷,均由水不溶性材料制成。
