Abstract
Se muestra y describe un sistema y método para controlar la operación de una chancadora giratoria de roca. La chancadora giratoria de roca incluye un accionamiento de frecuencia variable que permite que la velocidad excéntrica de la chancadora giratoria sea modificada en base a los parámetros detectados del sistema chancador de roca. La velocidad de la rotación excéntrica se puede ajustar dinámicamente para compensar el tamaño de las partículas de material que se trituran y la disponibilidad del material. El uso del accionamiento de frecuencia variable aumenta la eficiencia operativa de la chancadora giratoria mediante el control de la tasa de flujo de descarga del material triturado desde la chancadora y así permite reducir el tamaño de la tolva de descarga. La velocidad de rotación del excéntrico se controla para que esté por debajo de la velocidad crítica para la chancadora giratoria.
