Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema para la producción continua de carbón vegetal en un reactor vertical que tiene una zona de carga (1) de la parte superior y una zona de secado (2) concéntricas, una zona de carbonización (3), una zona de enfriamiento (4) y una zona de descarga (5), así como a un método de reaprovechamiento energético de gases de carbonización para la producción continua de ese carbón, el cual comprende extraer gas de carbonización de la parte superior de la zona de secado (2) del reactor (R) y subdividirlo al menos en una masa de gas recirculante y una masa de gas de calentamiento y una parte restante de gas que excede la energía necesaria en el proceso para la generación de energía eléctrica; realizar la combustión de la masa de gas de calentamiento en un generador de gases calientes (11); inyectar la masa de gas recirculante en un recuperador de calor (9); inyectar la masa de gas de calentamiento después de la combustión sobre el recuperador de calor (9), para el calentamiento indirecto de la masa de gas recirculante; y reinyectar la masa de gas recirculante calentada por el recuperador de calor (9) en la base de la zona de carbonización (3) del reactor (R)
