SE DEFINE UN TIEMPO DE TRÁNSITO OBJETIVO PARA CADA UNO DE LOS SEGMENTOS PREDETERMINADOS PARA PROPORCIONAR UNA CURVA DE VELOCIDAD OBJETIVO. SE MIDEN LOS VALORES REALES DEL TIEMPO DE TRÁNSITO PARA EL VEHÍCULO TODOTERRENO EN TRÁNSITO POR EL CAMINO. SE GENERA UN RESULTADO DE COMPARACIÓN COMPARANDO EL VALOR DEL TIEMPO DE TRÁNSITO OBJETIVO CON EL VALOR REAL DEL TIEMPO DE TRÁNSITO. EL RESULTADO DE LA COMPARACIÓN ES ÚTIL PARA DIAGNOSTICAR LAS CAUSAS DE LOS PROBLEMAS DE OPERACIÓN Y PARA PROGRAMAR ACCIONES CORRECTIVAS PARA ABORDAR EL PROBLEMA OPERACIONAL.
