Description

   Le tube de  direction C se termine     @à    sa partie supérieure    par un chapeau     K    destiné à être relié au  guidon de la     motocyclette.    Comme on le voit  plus en détail aux     fig.    2 et 3, la partie in  férieure du tube ide direction C comprend un  palier formé ide     deux-    coussinets, l'un supé  rieur D et l'autre inférieure E.     Dans    ce palier  tourne la tête B     @de    la fourche;

       celle-ci peut donc se .déplacer autour d'un axe parallèle à celui de la roue diractrice. En son milieu, la tête B porte une chape F dans laquelle un ressort à lame G est engagé et maintenu au moyen,de la, vis H. Ce ressort à lame est dis posé tout entier dans le tube de direction C et son extrémité supérieure est engagée entre deux tiges I et J fixées à ce tube.

  Steering wheel vehicle. The present invention relates to a vehicle with a steered wheel, for example a motorcycle, of the type in which the steered wheel is carried by a fork hinged to the steering tube - so as to oscillate around an axis. parallel to. that of the wheel. This vehicle is characterized by a spring acting on the fork ide so as to oppose the movements of the latter around said axis and housed in the steering tube.

  The appended drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, consisting of a motorcycle.

  The, fig. 1 is a side elevation of the steer wheel thereof; Fig. 2 is a section along A-A -de fig. 1, and fig. 3 shows a section taken at 90 from that of the fi-. 2.

  The steering wheel is mounted: in a fork A whose. head B is articulated to the lower part of the steering tube C, which is rotatably mounted, by means of two ball bearings, in the front tube L of the frame of the motorcycle.

   The steering tube C ends @ at its upper part with a cap K intended to be connected to the handlebars of the motorcycle. As can be seen in more detail in FIGS. 2 and 3, the lower part of the steering tube ide C comprises a bearing formed ide two bearings, one upper D and the other lower E. In this bearing turns the head B @de of the fork;

       the latter can therefore move around an axis parallel to that of the steering wheel. In its middle, the head B has a yoke F in which a leaf spring G is engaged and held by means of the screw H. This leaf spring is placed entirely in the steering tube C and its upper end is engaged between two rods I and J fixed to this tube.

   When the fork tends to rotate around the aforementioned axis, the spring G bearing on the rod I tends to. to oppose. this movement and thus lowers the movements of said wheel. The inside of the steering tube C is filled with oil, lubricant which is used to lubricate the spring G and the bearing DE and which, coming out through the ports M, also greases the ball bearing placed between the steering tube This is the frame tube L, at the lower part & these tubes,
