Water pipe hahu with double closure. The present invention relates to a faucet with a double closure. According to the invention, an intermediate jacket provided with at least one water passage opening is connected between the tap housing provided with water passage openings and the cock plug,
which can be turned against the tap housing by means of a hand lever reaching outwards for the purpose of shutting off, releasing and regulating the water passage, which also enables the sealing washers and valve seat to be replaced without closing the main line.
In the following drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in three exemplary embodiments: ehaulicht, namely: Figure 1 shows a section through a tap with a special outlet pipe, Figure 2 a straight-way tap, Figure 3 a tap with an outlet in the direction the valve spindle.
The reference numbers are the same for the same parts in all three embodiments. It denotes a the faucet body; b is the outlet pipe, c is the intermediate jacket, the water passage openings n (ALL. 1) for the passage of water to the valve is seated, d is an adjusting nut for the intermediate jacket c.
The latter can be switched off with the lever i. e is the valve spindle that carries the lever l; <I> f </I> is the valve plate, <I> g </I> is .the valve seat, the .according to the embodiments according to fig. 1 and 2 also passage - Openings for the water to pass through, <I> h </I> is a stuffing box packing, <I> k </I>, the stuffing box, m a sealing washer, o according to the exemplary embodiments Fig. 1 and 2 is a spanking cap, p (in Fig. 3)
an intermediate piece between the tap housing and the outlet pipe.
In the past, the main line of the water taps had to be closed for every minor repair, for example when inserting a new sealing washer. This is superfluous in the exemplary embodiments described.
As can be seen in the drawing, the valve spindle does not run directly in the valve body, but rather in a stretchable intermediate jacket. If this is only rotated by turning the lever i by <B> 90 '</B> against the valve spindle, then the wall of the intermediate jacket closes the inlet pipe of the tap, as can be seen in Fig. 2 and a, w According to Fig. 1: the tap is open.
It is now possible to take the tap fitting apart and insert a worn sealing washer, for example, without having to shut off the main line. By partially rotating the intermediate jacket c, the flow rate of the water can be regulated as required, which is also an advantage. For example, if you have screwed the valve spindle very high and want to close the valve quickly, this is not possible with the old designs, much more you have to screw the spindle down completely until the closure is effected.
In the constructions described, a quarter turn of the lever i is sufficient to effect the immediate water shut-off, even when the valve spindle is in its highest position.
