Description

  

      Respirator.       Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein       Respirator,    besonders zum Abhalten des Luft  staubes, schädlicher Gase usw. von den  Atmungswegen der Nase, z. B. in Fabrik  betrieben, Bergwerken, auf staubigen Strassen,  in Spitälern     etc.,    sowie auch zur Inhalation  von Arzneimitteln. Er ist gekennzeichnet  durch zwei derart durch einen federnden Steg  miteinander     verbundene    reifenförmige Rahmen,  dass letztere bequem in die Nasenlöcher ein  geführt und aus denselben wieder entfernt  werden können, wobei die Rahmen ein als  Filter für die Luft     bezw.    zur Inhalation von  Arzneien dienendes Drittel tragen.  



  In beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Aus  führungsbeispiel. des Erfindungsgegenstandes  dargestellt.  



       Fig.    1 zeigt dasselbe teilweise im Aufriss  und teilweise im Querschnitt;       Fig.    2 ist eine Draufsicht zu     Fig.    1;       Fig.    3 veranschaulicht dasselbe in kleinerem       Massstabe    bei Gebrauch.  



  Der dargestellte     Respirator    weist zwei  Rahmen auf, deren jeder aus zwei überein  andergesteckten ovalen Reifen 1, 2 besteht,  zwischen welchen das über den Reifen 1 ge-    spannte; als Filter für die Luft dienende  Mittel 3 eingeklemmt ist. Als Luftfilter kann  zum Beispiel ein Stück Drahtgaze, Watte  oder andere zweckentsprechende Stoffe ver  wendet werden. Die beiden Reifen 1 sind  durch einen U-förmigen, federnden Steg 4,  deren Schenkelenden am Reif 1 festgelötet  sind, miteinander verbunden.     Fig.    3 veran  schaulicht den     Respirator    bei Gebrauch.

   Der  selbe wird am Steg 4 erfasst und in die  Nasenlöcher 5 eingesetzt, wobei sich die  Schenkel des Steges federnd au die Nasen  scheidewand 6 anlegen, so dass das Instru  ment in der Nase festsitzt und die Atmungs  wege der letzteren staubsicher abschliesst.  Dasselbe kann bequem wieder aus der Nase  entfernt werden, wenn das     luftfilterndeMittel    3  gereinigt oder ersetzt werden muss.  



  Der     Respirator    kann auch zur Inhalation  von Arzneien dienen, zum Beispiel bei Schnup  fen, indem man mit einem Arzneimittel ge  tränkte Watte an den Rahmen 1, 2 anbringt.

It is characterized by two tire-shaped frames connected to one another by a resilient web that the latter can be comfortably inserted into the nostrils and removed from them again, the frames being a filter for the air or Carry a third serving for inhalation of medicines.



  An exemplary embodiment is shown in the accompanying drawing. of the subject matter of the invention.



       Fig. 1 shows the same partly in elevation and partly in cross-section; Fig. 2 is a plan view of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 illustrates the same on a smaller scale in use.



  The respirator shown has two frames, each of which consists of two oval tires 1, 2 placed one on top of the other, between which the one stretched over the tire 1; as a filter for the air serving means 3 is clamped. A piece of wire gauze, wadding or other appropriate materials can be used as the air filter. The two tires 1 are connected to one another by a U-shaped, resilient web 4, the leg ends of which are soldered to the hoop 1. Fig. 3 illustrates the respirator in use.

   The same is captured on the web 4 and inserted into the nostrils 5, with the legs of the web resiliently resting on the nasal septum 6 so that the instrument is stuck in the nose and the latter closes the breathing paths of the latter dust-proof. The same can be conveniently removed from the nose again when the air filtering means 3 needs to be cleaned or replaced.



  The respirator can also be used to inhale medicines, for example in the case of a cold, by attaching cotton wool soaked with a medicine to the frame 1, 2.

Claims

Claim: Respirator, especially for keeping the air dust etc. from the respiratory tract of the nose, characterized by two hoop-shaped frames connected to one another by a resilient bar that the latter can be easily inserted into the nostrils and removed from the same again, the frame being a as a filter for the air respectively. Carry agent used for inhalation of medicines. <B> SUBClaims: </B> 1. Respirator according to patent claim, characterized in that the tire-shaped frames each consist of two tires pushed one on top of the other, between which an air-purifying agent is clamped.

2. Respirator according to claim, characterized in that the resilient web is U-shaped and carries the frame at its leg ends, the legs being resiliently applied to the nasal septum when the respirator is inserted into the nostrils.
