BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Face masks without valves are usually designed in such a way that a material material acts as a filter for the mouth and nose area.

There has been a lot of criticism about this because the substance may only be partially permeable and therefore the user breathes in his exhaled aerosols himself and thus dangerously increases the concentration of the viruses contained in the aerosols in the event of an incipient infection.

In addition, the user also breathes in more nitrogen from the air used. This reduces physical and mental performance.

SOLUTION

The inventive step consists in preventing consists in protecting the user from breathing in the exhaled air again with a simple mouth and nose protection.

Another task is to induce the user to only inhale through the nose and only exhale through the mouth.

This is achieved according to the invention in that the mask is divided into two zones by a folded web which runs approximately horizontally at the level of the upper lip of the wearer.

Alternatively, an elastic band can be inserted between the upper and lower part of the mask to do this.

The lower part of the mask is therefore in front of the wearer's mouth and can be bulky,
and in the resulting cavity it is easy to exhale; while the top has less drag for the area through which air is drawn in with the nose.

As a result, it is normally to be expected that the user will almost naturally breathe in through the nose and exhale through the mouth, thus avoiding re-inhalation of air that has been used and possibly contaminated with aerosols.
