Bevel gear machining center.
Bevel gear processing machines for the production of gears that are as theoretically accurate as possible work, as is well known, according to the generating process. Here, the bevel gear to be processed is given an oscillating movement around the cone tip and a rotary movement about the bevel gear axis, whereby the oscillating movement is derived from the rotary movement or vice versa, while the tool or tools in the direction of the producers of the cone shell relative to the bevel gear. and be moved.
The derivation of the rotary movement around the cone axis from the oscillatory movement around the cone tip is history in known machines of this type in that the oscillating movement generates a rolling movement of the cone surface on a straight path, for which purpose, for example, tapes with their ends on the cone surface and on the straight one Railway are attached. In this rolling movement, the surface of the cone after the point of contact is only perpendicular to the center line of the belts in the central position, while the point of contact moves towards the tip of the cone when the belts run up and away from it when it runs down.
This changes the speed of rotation. and this rotational movement and the oscillating movement do not complement each other in such a way that proper rolling takes place.
To remedy this drawback, it was proposed to use rolling movements of a cylinder jacket instead of this rolling movement of a cone jacket. Machines of this design, however, get quite complicated.
The subject matter of the present invention is a bevel gear machining machine operating according to the rolling process, in which the Nacli parts of the first-mentioned construction are avoided.
According to the invention is a bevel gear machining machine, in which to generate the rolling motion of a cone an oscillating movement around its tip and from this oscillating movement a twist of the rule nm its axis is derived by a rolling of the cone shell on a straight path. characterized. that the straight path one through the

In FIGS. 1 and @ 2, 1 denotes the machine frame. in which a tool carrier block is mounted so that it can swing about a vertical axis. The tool carrier block is composed of a segment-shaped carrier 2, which is mounted by means of a vertical pin 3 mounted in the machine frame
Can perform oscillating movements. The
Shaft 5, which carries the workpiece, is rotatably mounted in a bearing 4 and the bearing 4 is seated on an arm provided with a slide 3, which slide can be adjusted and fixed along the circular segment of the carrier 2.
The arrangement is made such that the vertical axis of the oscillating movement passing through the pin 3 durez the tip of the pitch cone of the workpiece and the circular segment of the carrier 2 is curved concentrically to the tip of the cone. The shaft 5 is therefore mounted in such a way that its axis passes through the cone tip for all adjustments of the bearing 4 with respect to the carrier 2.
The oscillating movements of the carrier 2 about the vertical axis through the cone tip, i. H. the silent movements of the cone around its tip are actuated from the drive shaft 7 by a belt drive 8, worm 9, worm wheel 10, crank disk 11 with seat 11a and connecting rod 12.
The rotational movement of the workpiece about its axis is derived from this oscillating movement in the following way: The frame 1 is provided with a cylindrical segment surface 13 arranged concentric to the vertical axis through the cone tip. This surface 13 is preceded by an elongated table top 14 which is supported on both ends by brackets 15a and 15b and can slide on the latter in a horizontal plane.
Steel strips 16 and 17, the ends of which are each fastened on the surface 13 and on the straight end surface 18 of the table top facing the latter. connect the end face of the table top with the surface 13. that the former can roll over the latter.
This rolling movement is caused by the fact that an arm 19 provided on the carrier 2 acts by means of a slide 20 on a surface 21 of the table parallel to the straight surface 18 in such a way that during the circular movement of the slide 20 around the vertical axis passing through the cone tip, the surface 18 of the table is forced. adjust itself normal to the radial plane through the center of the slide. A cylindrical, straight ruler 22 is adjustably mounted on the table top 14. Details of the storage are shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. In the cylin drical ruler 22 at both ends coaxially arranged pins 23 are embedded, which are fixed to a lever 24 each.
The lever 24 is rotatably mounted by means of a pin 25 in a sup port 26. At the end of the pin 2;) an arm 27 is wedged, which can be adjusted via a graduation 28 attached to the support 26 when the ruler 22 is adjusted about the pin 25. The arm 27 is provided with an index mark and the adjustment of the ruler that takes place by rotating the arm 27 can be read on the graduation.
The supports 26 are adjustable and lockable in seat hubs 29 of the table 14 in the direction of the ruler 22. A roller segment 31 is slidably mounted in the shaft on a running sleeve 30 of the shaft 5. For this purpose, the rolling segment has a longitudinally split hub 32 which can be clamped onto the liner 30.
The actual segment part is expediently manufactured separately from the hub so that it can be exchanged for other segment parts of different radius. without removing the hub 32, the segment 31 is connected to the cylindrical ruler 22 by belts 33, so that the segment must roll on the ruler. The influence of the adjustment of the ruler 22 for two different apex angles of the cone is shown sebematically in FIGS.
For an accurate rolling movement of the segments 31 on the ruler 22, it is useful that the generatrix of the conical shell, respectively. its continuation on the mantle of the supplementary cone, which lies in the vertical plane through the apex, assumes a horizontal direction. In this generating line of the cone jacket respectively. of the supplementary cone, the respective contact point between segment 31 and ruler 22 must be. From this it can readily be seen that with a greater rotation of the ruler for a greater conical apex angle, it is also necessary at the same time to lift the ruler so that the point of contact lies in this horizontal generating line.
The mode of operation of this device shown is as follows: From the working shaft 7, via the transmission means: belt drive 8, worm 9, worm wheel 10, crank pulley 11, connecting rod 12 (lem workpiece carrier visual swinging movement about a vertical axis going through the cone tip, the This oscillating movement causes the sliding piece 20 mounted in the arm 19 to roll the table 14 on the circular path 13; at the same time, the segment 31 rolls on the ruler 22, whereby the workpiece carrying the workpiece Wave a rotation, that is, that
The workpiece is given a rotation about the cone axis.
With this double rolling motion, the ruler always rotates like this in the horizontal plane. that the one surface line of the cone respectively. of the supplementary cone is always perpendicular to the latter after the point of contact between segment and ruler.
In this way, a theoretically correlated rolling movement of the workpiece is achieved.
Opposite the workpiece carrier, the reciprocating tool plungers 3-1 and 35 are mounted on raised parts of the frame.
Each tool plunger lies in a fi li- rungsschlitten 36bezw. 37, which can be pivoted and locked in relation to a frame 38 in the vertical direction by rotating about a bolt 39. The frame 38 can be pivoted about a bolt 40 in a horizontal plane, so that the guide carriages can be adjusted in such a way that the tool moves to and fro along generatrixes of the cone. At the front end of each tool ram carries in height and laterally adjustable, as well as rotatable guides through which the tool, in the illustrated case an emery disk 42, can be set as desired.
The emery discs are seize in rotation by acting on the pulleys 43 power transmission elements, which are not shown in the drawing.
The reciprocating tool ram is driven in the following way:
Each ram is equipped with a screw spindle 44 or 45, on which a worm wheel 46 or. 47. whose hub is provided with a nut thread sits (Fig. 3).
For the most part, the screw spindles with right-hand and left-hand threads pass so that the plungers move against each other, that is, one moves towards the work stick when the other moves away from it. With each worm wheel 46 respectively. 47 7 is a screw 48 respectively. 49 engaged. The two worms are connected to one another by an articulated shaft 50, which also allows the distance between the worm gears to be changed in the axial direction of the shaft 50.
Each worm is to bezw on a direction against the worm wheel. frame 51 and 52 which can be moved away from it; the displacement of the frame ge compared to fixed housings 53 respectively. 54 is carried out by eccentric lever 55 respectively. 56. Middle of this eccentric lever, the worms 48 respectively. 49 individually out of engagement with the Schnackenwheels 46 respectively. 47 are brought, and so the drive of each ram can be switched off separately. The shaft 50 is driven by a vertical cardan shaft 57 made up of bevel gears 58 and 59. The bevel gear 59 is rotatably arranged on the shaft 50 and is equipped with a toothed coupling half 60.
The other tooth coupling half 61 is displaceable on the shaft 50, but not rotatable, and can be engaged and disengaged by a lever 62. By actuating the lever 62, the drive of both rams can thus be switched on and off.
The vertical shaft 57 is driven by the drive shaft 7 with the interposition of a bevel gear reversing gear 63 with control sleeve 64, the reversal is actuated by lugs 65 and 66, which are given a circular movement by the reversing gear, with which movement it is with the lever 67 come into engagement and by adjusting this lever move the steaermuffe near one or the other direction,
A dividing device 68 is provided on the shaft 5 of the workpiece, which is automatically actuated by electrical means.
A contact 69 is provided on one of the tappets and an adjustable contact 70 is provided on the guide of this tappet, which contact each other when the tappet comes into its rear position. As a result, a circuit after the Elelitromagneten 71 of the sub-device is closed via a battery. At one end of a double lever 72 there is an armature 73; the other end of the double lever 72 is coupled to the pivot point 74 of a further double lever 75. The ends of the double lever 75 are connected to a hook lever 76 and a bolt 77, which are in engagement with teeth of the partial wheel 78.
The partial wheel 78 is seated on the shaft 5 which carries the workpiece. firmly, while the housing of the Teilvorrieli- line is firmly connected to the liner 30. The rotation of the liner around the axis of the shaft 5, which the housing also participates in the rolling movement of the segment 31, is transferred by the bolt 77 to the partial wheel d 78 and thus. since the latter is stuck on shaft 5, transferred to shaft 5.
The function of the sub-device is as follows: If the armature 73 is attracted by closing the circuit, the double lever 72 is rotated and a pull is performed on the pivot point of the double lever 75 in the direction away from the sub-wheel. As a result of this pull, the bolt 77 is first lifted out of the sub-wheel 78 and then the sub-wheel 78 is rotated by one tooth pitch by means of the hook lever 76, the hook lever first serving as a fulcrum to pull out the bolt, and then the rule for the circuit.
For each specific partial crack angle it is necessary to have a specific relationship between the oscillating movement around the cone tip and the rotary movement around the axis of the cone. It is known, in bevel gear grinding machines, in which the rolling movements are generated by rolling segments and steel belts, to produce the correct ratio of the movements by replaceable segments of different radius.
Since practically only a limited number of these segments will be available, these means can be used to adjust n @ r step-by-step changes that correspond to the designs of the segment radii, that is, gears can occur at which, for example, an interchangeable segment has too large a radius, while the radius of the next segment is already too small to produce a very specific relationship between the movements that generate the rolling. So you will have to choose one or the other segment.
In the present embodiment, with a limited number of interchangeable segments, the precise movement conditions can be achieved in that the segment 31 is expediently slidable along the shaft 5 and at the same time the ruler 22 is slidable parallel in the horizontal plane.
It is readily apparent that when the shaft 5 is inclined at a new cone tip angle, a shifting of the segment 31 along the shaft and the ruler 22 in the guides 29 results in a simple change in the same sense as by changing the radius of the segment can.
With the bevel gear machining machine described, it is possible to generate theoretically correct bevel gears for all conditions that occur. The Wälxvorrich- device is stable and shows great simplicity.
