Watch. The object of the present invention is a watch; it comprises an elastic member fixed by one of its ends to a bridge of the movement of the watch, member which is adjacent to the ratchet of the barrel and whose free end is provided with a journal on which is mounted to rotation a toothed sector arranged so as to be in engagement. cons both with the ratchet, as well as a stopper which serves as a stop for said toothed sector, the object of which is to prevent the ratchet from turning in the opposite direction to that of winding the watch, everything. avoiding an overvoltage of the spring. engine of the latter.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object: (the invention and a variant of detail.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of said embodiment; Fig. 2 is a plan view of the elastic member; Fig. 3 shows, in perspective, the elastic organ on which the toothed sector is mounted: FIG. 4 shows, also in perspective, the variant of detail, that is to say of the elastic member.
According to fig. 1 to 3 of the accompanying drawing, 5 represents the watch case in which the mechanism is arranged; 6 is a bridge of movement .; i represents the. winding stem of the. shows, rod that enters. the box and has, at its inner end, a pinion 8 meshing with a toothed wheel 9 which meshes with the barrel ratchet 10, which is mounted on the barrel shaft ii around which the motor res out is wound, not visible at drawing.
An elastic member 12 is, fixed by means of a screw 13 at one end, on the side of the bridge 6. It is adjacent to one of the faces of the ratchet 10 and its free end projects beyond the periphery of said rock. The part of the spring which extends under the ratchet is thinner than the part of said spring. adjacent to the bridge. 6.
At the free end of the elastic member 12 is. provided a journal 14 on which is mounted. rotation of the toothed sector 15 which is arranged so

In the detail variant represented by fis. 11, the elastic member 12, instead of being thinned, as in the first embodiment described above, has an equal width over its entire length, and has Pl s a longitudinal groove 18 , in which the toothed sector 15 oscillates.
The latter is mounted on a journal 20, on which it can oscillate.
The toothed sector is similar to that of the first embodiment. The stop 16 (lu toothed sector is constituted, in this variant, by the very end of the elastic member, which is cut accordingly.
The. operation. of the components of this variant is similar to that of the corresponding parts of the first embodiment.
The form and. the dimensions of the elastic member and of the toothed sector may differ from those shown in the accompanying drawing.
