Dann gilt folgende Beziehung:
<EMI ID=2.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=4.1>
<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>
Und ihre Beschleunigung ergibt sich zu:
<EMI ID=7.1>
<EMI ID=8.1>
Der Winkel [beta] beträgt:
<EMI ID=9.1>
<EMI ID=10.1>
<EMI ID=11.1>

<EMI ID=12.1>
Nach dem Cosinus-Satz gilt:
<EMI ID=13.1>
<EMI ID=14.1>
<EMI ID=15.1>
<EMI ID=16.1>
The present invention relates to an edge press, with which the edge portions of a band-shaped fabric are easy and inexpensive to print.
The edge pressure in the textile is today more in demand than ever and is constantly increasing in importance, be it the quality (Image) or the name of the origin of goods due to the globalization of the economy and thus also to designate the textile manufacturers. The use of an efficient edge press at the exit of a production line is today almost indispensable.
The object of this invention is therefore to provide a edge press, which works efficiently without monitoring, provides a clean print quality, whether in gold or any other color, and works in the planographic printing with stamping foils, because with such a regardless of the substrate in the same way outstanding print quality can be achieved, regardless of whether the print is applied to the finest silk, woolen fabrics, cotton fabrics or even thickest felts.
This object is achieved by an edge press for printing stamping foils in the planographic printing process on the edge region of a band-shaped textile fabric, which edge press has a flat printing table, and a first, arranged under the printing table stationary draw roller for the supply, and a second stationary draw roll for the routing of the fabric, this edge machine is characterized by the characterizing features of claim 1.
In the drawings, such a machine is shown schematically in several embodiments and will be described below with reference to these drawings and their function will be explained. In addition, the geometric basics are provided, which make the control of the material supply understandable.
It shows:
<Tb> FIG. 1: <sep> An edge press in a basic version seen from the side;
<Tb> FIG. 2: <sep> The geometry of the drive of the rollers of the carriage;
<Tb> FIG. 3: <sep> A scheme for showing the travel distance extension of the fabric when moving the carriage of the carriage to the left;

<Tb> FIG. 6: <sep> Schematically the structure of the pressure stroke;
<Tb> FIG. 7: <sep> The pressure build-up and its geometry.
Fig. 1 shows a simplest embodiment of the edge press, that is, the basic version seen from the side. The fabric 1 is here from the left via a driven tension roller 2, from a small roll, from a stack or from a Grosskaule the machine fed continuously, and printing is done afterwards by means of a pressure apparatus 3 with plunger from above on the flat printing table 4th Weil der Fabric 1 continuously moves, artificially a short stoppage of the fabric 1 must be effected on the printing table 4, during which the printing process can be completed.
This brief stoppage of the passing textile tape 1 is produced by two oscillating in a certain rhythm, non-driving guide rollers 5,6 in a very specific manner on a carriage in a pendulum motion back and forth, after which the web over the second draw roller 7 directly to Roll-up is performed. The carriage is driven or controlled by a crank drive, as is apparent from Fig. 2. The car is stored on wheels and built as light as possible, so that the acceleration forces remain as low as possible. The guide rollers 5,6 cause by the very specific pendulum movement of the carriage, that the fabric in the area of the printing apparatus 3 for a moment long stands still, while on the other side of the machine, the fabric leaves the machine again continuously.
During the short fabric standstill so the unwinding of the tension roller 2 on the one hand and behind the printing apparatus 3, the reeling on the pull roller acting as traction roller 7 continuously without any material delay continues, that is, there moves the web always uniform. The speed of the incoming web of material must be compensated so that, after rolling off the roller 5 due to the movement of the same sets a speed zero relative to the printing table 4. In order to achieve this, first the loose guide roller 5 on the left side of the picture must shift to the left so fast that the material web on its upper side is stationary relative to the printing table 4. And this shifting motion must be continued as long as the printing process takes time.
At the same time, the roller 6 must also move to the right in the image to the left to release just enough material to roll up against the right that this reeling runs continuously during standstill. Because this roller 7 previously oscillated to the right, while a fabric length reserve was created, which is now used up again during the fabric standstill to ensure the continuous reeling. This parallel pendulum movement of the two draw rollers 5,6 is completely mechanically controlled and therefore simple in construction, although the control is not so easy due to the geometric conditions. It will be explained later.
The printing apparatus 3 operates with a flat printing set. This can be composed of normal letterpress types or consist of a LOGO. It is therefore not necessary to engrave special clichés, as is necessary for rotary printing. This gives the machine greater flexibility and "freedom of movement" and makes it possible to fulfill all customer requirements in terms of edge pressure.
When film printing the pack ship is electrically heated. Since the working temperature is different for different types of films and also for different fabric qualities, this can be optimally adjusted by a control thermostat. For control, a thermometer is installed. The feed of the printing film is automatic and can be adjusted depending on the font height. The film wear is therefore extremely low in contrast to the rotary printing process. All parts can be removed in a few steps without tools. A mechanical device further allows to be stamped optionally at printing distances of, for example, 1, 2 or 3 meters (or yard). To direct the print accurately to the selvedge, the print head is automatically guided along the edge, controlled by an optical edge sensor.
The commercial dimension of printing film is 60 cm in width and 122 m in length on a roll. The user can even divide these rolls to the desired width according to the text length to be printed (= X + 10 mm). The area of the lettering is typically 90 mm x 5 mm = 450 mm <2>.
The following geometric principles are shown with reference to FIG 2, which shows the drive of the left roller 5. This drive is via an eccentric, whereby a lever 9 is formed with a length r, which rotates about an axis, and the angle between the plane in which the roller 5 moves back and forth, and the lever 9 with length r denoted by cp. The instantaneous distance between the axis of the lever 9 and the roller 5 is x. When the lever 9 is pivoted completely into the displacement plane of the roller shaft axis, the distance between the zero point of the roller shaft axis and the lever axis is s + x. The small letter / denotes the distance from the end of the lever 9 to the axis of the roller 5.
Then the following relationship applies:
<EMI ID = 2.1>
For the path s of the roller then the following formula applies, where the relationship applies:
<EMI ID = 3.1>
<EMI ID = 4.1>
Or also based on the above formula:
<EMI ID = 5.1>
The speed of the roller results then too
<EMI ID = 6.1>
And their acceleration results in:
<EMI ID = 7.1>
Fig. 3 shows a diagram of the draw roller for the fabric feed and the upper left roller. If the inner tangent C-D is shifted parallel to the direction B-D by the amount r-, a new triangle ABE is created. The length of the tangent between the two rolls then measures:
<EMI ID = 8.1>
The angle [beta] is:
<EMI ID = 9.1>
<EMI ID = 10.1>
Thus, the length of the fabric is from point F in the position 1500 o'clock at the lower draw roll out to the upper roll, then clockwise around it and tangentially away up to the point G:
<EMI ID = 11.1>
Due to the carriage movement, the tangent length between the rollers and the extent of the looping change. This change is not linear, as the graph below shows. Looking at the axis of symmetry of the machine, it will be noted that the change in length between points F-G and F'-G is not the same. This means that, depending on the design arrangement, the goods are tensioned and slip over the rollers. The fabric feed in the end position is 1676.4 mm taking into account the following input data. In the middle position, the intake has decreased by 3.0 mm. That means a delay of 0.18%. Elastic goods will run smoothly, with inelastic goods it should come to slipping.
By an additional pair of rollers resp. an increase of the vertical distance to 450 mm, this effect is eliminated or reduced to 1 mm.

The existing oscillator is driven by a uniformly driven shaft. The eccentric levers 9 are fastened in a form-fitting manner to the shaft ends. This form fit requires an accurate manufacturing and allows no adjustment. This has the advantage that during operation no change in the setting is possible. Both the transport roller drive and the carriage drive are driven by the same shaft. The transport rollers are driven in the ratio 15:48 (0.3125) and the carriage drive with 32: 4021: 4320: 50 (0.15627). This translates into the factor 2.0 (or 1.999) in the translation. The printhead must not be in contact with the material for more than 60 [deg.] Of lever movement. The data apply to the repeat of 1.005m. This means that you can print during one sixth of the stroke time.
At 60m / min web speed 0.16 seconds remain for the printing process. This machine principle with a compensation of the goods entry by a carriage movement with two rollers can be used on various edge presses.
Fig. 4 is the principle of an edge press for an operation of roll to roll or Grosskaule 15 to Grosskaule 15 realized. The textile tape 1 to be printed on the edges is therefore fed continuously from a textile roll. In order to connect the edge press for a continuous operation on a textile machine, it is necessary to absorb possible web run fluctuations. For this purpose, a number of compensating rollers 10,11 are installed here. The lower compensating rollers 10 are mounted on levers 12 which are spring-loaded. On the opposite side of the storage of the lever and counterweights 13 are arranged to load the fabric as needed or to tension. In Fig. 5, the edge press is installed for stack-to-stack operation between two such stacks 16,17.
The setting of the printing time is necessary for the most efficient operation of the machine. By coupling the printing time to the machine speed, the contact time is changed and it must therefore also be able to be adjusted. The setting is made using the principle of limiting a sine wave or sinusoidal curve. The contact pressure should be adjusted so that the highest possible pressures can be achieved. Damage to the mechanism by driving to block must be prevented.
With a lever arrangement as shown in Fig. 6, an adjusting mechanism can be achieved. Assuming that angle α is a maximum when the eccentric is at position 0, the stroke A can be expressed by the following formula, FIG. 7 also being used:
<EMI ID = 12.1>
After the cosine theorem applies:
<EMI ID = 13.1>
<EMI ID = 14.1>
<EMI ID = 15.1>
<EMI ID = 16.1>
The contact pressure can be adjusted by means of the angle between the levers.
