Technisches Gebiet

Technical area
The invention relates to a folding cover of a wall-bounded opening, in particular for a trough, a floor breakthrough, a maintenance opening or the like, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
State of the art
In the soil recessed troughs, for example, for waste, wood chips and the like, are usually covered with a cover. This cover should be easily removable and release as far as possible the filling opening of the trough so that new material can be poured directly from a cargo bed or a cargo space of a motor vehicle in the trough.
The same problems arise with other openings, such as floor penetrations or maintenance openings.
Presentation of the invention
It is an object of the invention to provide a cover for an opening, which releases the opening almost completely.
This object is achieved by a folding cover with the features of claim 1.
The inventive cover is formed as a folding cover, which is divided over folding line in at least two covering wings. Preferably, this fold line is parallel to a wall bounding the opening, preferably to the rear wall.
The rearmost covering wing is fastened to at least one hinge, this hinge being arranged according to the invention on a rear side facing away from the opening of a rear wall delimiting this opening.
The inventive arrangement of the at least one hinge, the covering wings can be completely removed from the region of the filling opening, so that the entire opening can be used. This is not only for the loading of a trough of advantage, but also facilitates their cleaning.
If the at least one hinge arranged lower than the rear wall crown, then enough space is created to allow an evasive movement to the rear.
However, the opening may still be arranged relatively close to a building wall.
In a preferred embodiment, the filler-side covering wing is in the folded state with its entire length on the rear wall crown of the opening. From the unloading or loading originating, acting mainly from the front against the folded cover forces can be derived over the entire length of the wall crown. The folding cover is thus less damaged.
Further advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the dependent claims.

<Tb> FIG. 5 <sep> the folding cover according to FIG. 1 from the front and
<Tb> FIG. 6 <sep> the folding cover in the folded state in a second embodiment.
Ways to carry out the invention
In Fig. 1, the inventive folding cover is shown in the unfolded state, as it covers a filling opening of a trough M. However, the same folding cover can also be used to cover other openings.
The opening or depression M is only partially shown. Normally this is a recess M embedded in the ground, the sides of which are concreted. Usually it projects slightly above the bottom surface but is sufficiently deep to be fed from one side, the filling side. On this filling side, vehicles with the material to be charged can be brought close enough to the trough M.
The rear, the filling side facing away from, is usually arranged close to a building wall, not shown here. However, it is also possible to arrange the surface of the trough M in alignment with the ground surface.
The folding cover has at least two, here exactly two, covering wings: a front, filler-side covering wing 1 and a rear hinge-side covering wing 2. In the closed, unfolded state, they cover the filling opening of the trough M completely. Preferably, the filling-side covering wing 1 extends to the front outer edge of a front wall 14 and the hinge-side covering wing 2 to the rear outer edge of a rear wall 15 of the trough M.
It is also possible that they project beyond these outer edges.
The cover wings 1, 2 can be folded along a fold line F, which runs parallel to the rear wall 15 of the trough M here. For this purpose, the two covering wings 1, 2 are connected to one another via a folding mechanism, which comprises at least one hinge part or connecting element 12, hydraulic cylinders 8, 9 and struts 6, 7 shown schematically in the figures. The struts and cylinders are arranged with one end on the connecting element 12 and at its other end to each one of the covering wings 1, 2.
By means of the electrohydraulically operated cylinders 8, 9, the covering wings 1, 2 can be contracted and thus the cover can be folded towards the rear wall 15 of the depression M, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.
In the unfolded state, as shown in Fig. 1, the connecting element 12 is preferably covered for protection against environmental influences. For this purpose, the covering wings 1, 2 projecting lugs 1 ¾, 2 ¾ projecting into the region of the connecting element 12.
Further, a covering strip 13, preferably in the form of a sheet, is arranged on one of the covering wings 1, 2, which covers the gap between the two covering wings 1, 2.
The folding cover, or the hinge-side covering wing 2, is attached to at least one, preferably two or more hinges 3 at a fixed location. Usually, the hinges 3 are arranged on the trough M, on a building wall or on the floor. According to the invention, the at least one hinge 3 is arranged on a rear side of the rear wall 15 facing away from the filling opening of the depression M. Preferably, it is at a distance from the rear wall 15 and / or below the wall crest 15 ¾ of the rear wall 15, so that there is sufficient clearance to allow the hinge-side covering wing 2 sufficient evasion movement to the rear.
In the example shown here, the hinge 3 is mounted on a bracket 4 on the rear side of the rear wall 15 and connected via a lever rod 5 with the hinge-side covering wing 2, as shown schematically in the figures.
As can be seen in Fig. 4, the inventive arrangement of the at least one hinge 3 allows the folding cover can be moved beyond the rear of the trough M and thus the filling opening of the trough M completely releases. When folding the filler-side covering wing 1 rolls on its rollers 11 on the wall crowns 16 ¾ of the side walls 16 of the trough M from. The filler-side covering wing 1 is preferably pulled back so far that it rests on the wall crest 15 ¾ of the rear wall 15.
As a result, it is held in a stable position and bulk materials, which collide when loading the trough on his in Fig. 5 visible, erected cover surface 1 ¾ ¾, slide down this surface along. In doing so, the forces acting on the covering surface 1¾¾ on the impact surface are dissipated over the entire length of the crown 15 ¾.
To secure the folded covering wings 1, 2 against gusts or other external influences at least one retaining belt 10 is preferably present. This restraint belt 10 is attached at one end to one of the lateral walls 16 of the trough M and at another end to one of the covering wings 1, 2. In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, it is fastened to the hinge-side covering wing 2. In this embodiment, the restraint belt 10 is preferably mounted in the rear quarter of the side wall 16.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, it is fastened to the filler-side covering wing 1 and is preferably fastened in the middle to the front region of the side wall 16.
In other, not shown, embodiments, the hinge is further spaced from the rear wall 15 is arranged so that the open cover can also release the rear wall crown.
This embodiment is particularly advantageous for cleaning purposes.
The inventive folding cover allows complete coverage of the trough to the outer edges in the unfolded and a complete coverage of the opening of the trough in the folded state.
