Fig. 3 und 4).
Bezugszeichenliste:

The present invention is in the field of apparatus for cutting boards of insulating material with the aid of a heating wire and relates to a guide device for a heating wire and a cutting device with a guide device, according to the preambles of the independent claims.
The documents CH-663 566, CH-686 175 or DE-4 435 252.2 describe, for example, devices for creating completely continuous separating cuts. These cutters comprise a rectangular frame which is formed by at least one worktop for supporting and / or guiding the insulating panels to be cut and two vertical braces, on which a guillotine-shaped cutting member is movably guided.
In contrast, in the document DE-U-29 901 187.9 a device for creating blanks of any shape, in particular of corner-shaped recesses of the insulating panels, described. There is great demand for such corner cutters. In the corner area, e.g. in the case of window sills, it used to be used to assemble panel sections. However, this creates gaps between the plates, which lead to consequential damage in unclean processing. For this reason, suppliers of insulation systems require processors to ensure that joints do not lie in such corner areas, which means that corner cuts must be made in the insulation boards. This requirement can be met quickly and accurately with the corner cutter described in the document DE-U-29 901 187.9.
In the disclosed in DE-U-29 901 187.9 guide device for a heating wire of the heating wire is stretched between two current-carrying Heizdrahthalteelementen, which are movably guided on two rails. The heating wire is slidably disposed in its position in the region of the two rails. At least one retaining element has a heating wire tensioning element, in which a guide carriage which is movable in a translationally longitudinal direction is mounted. The guide carriage carries at a lower end a contact head on which the heating wire is detachably frictionally held. During cutting, the contact head is ideally always in contact with the plate so that glowing wire sections are exposed.
As is known, those wire sections begin to glow that are not in permanent contact with the cut; they represent an acute source of danger and pollute by the smearing of plastic particles.
However, it has been shown in practice that the disclosed in DE-U-29 901 187.9 heating wire guide device is complicated and prone to failure. The susceptibility to interference is exacerbated by the resulting soot particles. The heating wire guiding device also causes a considerable weight increase of the cutting device. Especially the weight aspect must not be neglected, because cutters of this kind are often used on scaffoldings on which they are carried with muscle power. Therefore, it is an object of the invention to provide a heater wire guiding device which is simpler, less susceptible to failure and lighter in comparison with the guiding device discussed above. This object is achieved by the guide device as defined in the first claim.
The inventive guide device for a heating wire includes a first electrically conductive rail, with which the heating wire is so electrically and mechanically connected, that it is displaceable along the first rail. Further, the guide device includes a second rail and a freely movable with respect to the second rail handle to which the heating wire is fastened such that the heating wire along the first and the second rail is feasible, when the heating wire between the first rail and the handle is tensioned , The length of the heating wire, measured from the first rail to the handle, must therefore be greater than the distance between the first and the second rail.
Preferably, by means of the heating wire, an electrical connection between the first and the second rail can be produced when the heating wire is stretched between the first rail and the handle.
The device according to the invention for cutting plates of insulating material with the aid of a heating wire contains the above-described guide device according to the invention for a heating wire. In addition to the first heating wire fastened in the guide device, the cutting device can have a further, second heating wire, which is tensioned essentially parallel to one of the rails. The second heating wire is then used to completely cut insulation boards, while the first heating wire can be used to cut corners.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will be explained in detail below with reference to the drawings.
1 shows the cutting device according to the invention in a perspective view; FIG. 2 shows a part of the guide device according to the invention in a perspective view; FIG. and FIGS. 3 and 4 show the handle of the guide device according to the invention in a frontal or side view.
In Fig. 1, a preferred embodiment of an inventive cutting device 1 is shown schematically. The cutting device 1 includes a support column 11, which on a tripod 2, for example. A tripod with two pivoting legs 21, 22 and a pivotable support strut 23, can be turned off. The support column 11 carries the essential elements of the cutting device 1. On the support column 11, two longitudinal struts 12, 13 are attached. To guide a (not shown) zuzuschneidenden insulation board, the cutter 1 has a horizontal, arranged in the longitudinal direction y guide stop 14, which, for example, is made of an L-shaped rail.
The cutting device 1 comprises two cutting stations 3, 7: a first cutting station 3 for producing blanks of any shape, in particular corner-shaped recesses from the insulating panels, and a second cutting station 7 for creating completely continuous separating cuts.
The invention relates to a guide device 30 mounted in the first cutting station 3 for a heating wire 31. The guide device 30 includes two rails 32, 33 arranged substantially parallel to each other in approximately vertical direction z. A first rail 32 is electrically conductive and, for example. connected via a first electrical line 81 to a current or voltage source 8; in a second rail 33, these features are optional but preferably present (with a second electrical line 82). The rails 32, 33 are attached to the longitudinal struts 12, 13, wherein the first rail 32 in the vicinity of the longitudinal struts 12, 13 and the second rail 33 by means of transverse struts 34, 35 of the first rail 32 and the longitudinal struts 12, 13th is spaced.
The distance between the two rails 32, 33 is preferably adjustable for adaptation to a respective plate thickness, which can be realized by suitable guide means 36, 37 in the transverse struts 34, 35.
The heating wire 31 is electrically and mechanically connected to the first rail 32 via a connecting element 38 such that it is displaceable along the first rail 32. The connecting element 38 is, for example, designed as an electrically conductive rider, which can be displaced on the first rail 32 (see also FIG. 2). The guide device 30 further includes a freely movable with respect to the second rail 33 handle 4, to which the heating wire 31 is attached (see Fig. 3 and 4). The heating wire 31 is guided along the two rails 32, 33, so that by vertical movement (in -z direction) of the handle 4 and consequently also of the rider 38, the insulation plate can be cut from its upper edge to a certain depth.
For this purpose, the heating wire 31 is stretched between the first rail 32 and the handle 4 and moved along the second rail 33 down (in -z direction). In order to carry out a controlled, precisely defined cut, the handle 4 must be guided in such a way that the heating wire 31 remains in constant contact with the second rail 33 during the movement. This is typically done by the heating wire 31 approximately along the right (facing away from the supporting column 11) side surface 39 of the second rail 33 down (in -z direction) and at the same time slightly to the left (to the support column 11 back, ie in -. y-direction) is pulled.
In order for the heating wire 31 to heat up, it must be in a closed circuit with the power or voltage source 8. For this purpose, in a first (illustrated in the drawings and in the following mainly discussed) embodiment, the two rails 32, 33 are electrically conductively connected via electrical lines 81, 82 connected to the current or voltage source 8. By means of the heating wire 31, an electrical connection between the first rail 32 and the second rail 33 can be made by the heating wire 31 between the first rail 32 and the handle 4 is tensioned and simultaneously brought into contact with the second rail 33. In this state, a heating current flows through the heating wire 31, so that it heats up.
In a second (not shown) embodiment, only the first rail 32 is electrically conductive. The circuit is then closed by the heating wire 31 is connected in the region of the handle 4 with the power or voltage source 8, for example. Via a (not shown) electrical line analogous to and instead of the line 82nd
The first cutting station 3 can be used to create two, for example, mutually perpendicular partial sections of two mutually perpendicular edges of the insulation board. As a result, a corner of the insulation board can be cut out.
FIGS. 3 and 4 show a preferred embodiment of the handle 4 in a front view and a side view, respectively. This handle 4 is constructed essentially mirror-symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry 40. It is equipped with a coil 41 for winding up the heating wire 31, the coil 41 including the plane of symmetry 40. The coil 41 serves as a storage for replacement wire, which is very convenient. Experience has shown that the wear on the heating wire 31 is large, so that often a replacement of the heating wire 31 is necessary. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the replacement wire is stored in the handle 4 and thus literally "at hand", i. hand. On both sides of the coil 41 spherical grip elements 42, 43 are arranged, which consist of an electrically insulating material, preferably a plastic.
To protect the (not shown) hand, in which the handle 4 is held, an existing plastic protective guard 44 is provided.
The guide device 30 according to the invention is preferably equipped with first holding means 5 for holding the heating wire 31 during cutting breaks. Such first holding means 5 are shown in Fig. 2. They are embodied, for example, as a first bracket formed by a notch 51 in the upper edge 52 of the second rail 33, via which the heating wire 31 can be suspended in such a way that the handle 4 hangs down freely and by its weight force the heating wire 31 between the first rail 32 and the first bracket 5 spans. In this rest position, the heating wire 31 must not conduct electrical current. Therefore, the notch 51 may be provided with an electrically insulating liner 53 if the second rail 33 is electrically conductive.
Alternatively, in the region of the upper end of the first rail 32, a switch (not shown), which is actuated by the rider 38 and interrupts the circuit through the heating wire 31; then the insulation 53 is unnecessary from the second rail 33. If two heating wires 31, 71 are present as in FIG. 1, the switch can simultaneously switch off the current through the first heating wire 31 and switch on the current through the second heating wire 71. Also on or near the switch, means (not shown) for attaching the rider 38 may be provided at the upper end of the first rail 32.
In addition, in FIGS. 1 and 2, second holding means 6 for the heating wire 31 are shown. These are located on a sliding carriage 61 along the second rail 33, wherein the second rail 33 is formed as a C-profile and the carriage 61 can be fixed by means of a locking screw 62 at an arbitrary height on the second rail 33. At the upper, over the second rail 33 protruding edge 63 of the carriage 61, a notch 64 is attached, which acts as a second bracket 6 for suspending the heating wire 31. The heating wire 31 can be hung over the second bracket 6 in such a way that the handle 4 hangs down freely and by its weight forces the heating wire 31 between the first rail 32 and the second bracket 6.
The second holding means 6 serve on the one hand as a stop for the heating wire 31 for the repeatable reaching a desired Einschneidtiefe. On the other hand, they serve to keep the current-carrying heating wire 31 at a desired height so that it cuts through a longitudinally moving y insulation board in just this height. This situation (without insulation board) is shown in Fig. 1 and 2. To close the circuit either the second holding means 6 must be electrically connected to the electrically conductive second rail 33 and the power and voltage source 8, or the heating wire 31 itself must be electrically connected to the power and voltage source 8.
The second cutting station 7 of the cutting device 1 shown in Fig. 1 is known per se and in the inventive cutting device 1 only optionally available. It includes two attached to the supporting column 11 by means of hinges 72, 73 second transverse struts 74, 75, in which a parallel to the second transverse struts 74, 75 displaceable frame 76 is guided. In the frame 76, a second heating wire 71 is clamped such that by means of the second heating wire 71 along the guide stop 14 (in -y direction) moving insulation board is completely cut. For this purpose, the second heating wire 71 can be connected to the current or voltage source 8.
The first heating wire 31 and the second heating wire 71 are preferably fed by the same current or voltage source 8. Let Ê 1 and Ê 2 be the lengths and d 1 and d 2 the diameters of the heating wires 31 and 71, respectively. The heating wires 31, 71 may each be applied individually or both at the same time to the current or voltage source 8; in the latter case, they can be connected in series or in parallel. In all cases, the requirement that the heat output from the heating wires 31, 71 is the same, as a condition
d 1 / d 2 =! (Ê 1 / Ê 2) +/- (1)
The alternative requirement that the same heat output per unit length is given leads to the condition
d 1 / d 2 = Ê 1 / Ê 2 +/- (2)
If, for example, the Heizdrahtlängen (Ê 1 = 20 cm and Ê 2 = 135 cm amount, so preferably heating wires 31, 71 are used, the diameter of which are in the following relationship to each other:
- According to equation (1): d 1 / d 2 = 0.38, that is, for example, d 1 = 0.4 mm and d 2 = 1.0 mm; or
- According to equation (2): d 1 / d 2 = 0.15, that is, for example, d 1 = 0.2 mm and d 2 = 1.0 mm.
In any case, it is advantageous if the second, longer heating wire 71 has a larger diameter d 2 than the first, shorter heating wire 31.
