Abstract
Automatically closing barrier (10) comprises a barrier arm, rotary arm, lock (7) and compensatory weight. It involves a manual opening operation independent of other systems, but no manual operation is required for closing. The completely automatic movement process is ensured by the displacement of a fluid. The speed of closure can be adjusted.
Description
1 Introduction
A barrier that is independent of any energy sources and closes again fully automatically after manual opening.
The present invention relates to a barrier according to claim 1.
2. Area of application
A barrier which, depending on the size built, is used where only authorized persons can drive through or third parties are allowed to drive through.
3. Tasks
The object of the present invention is to create a barrier according to the preamble of patent claim 1. This object is achieved according to the invention in a barrier with the characterizing features of patent claim 1.
4th embodiment:
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the attached schematic drawing. It shows the side view of the barrier (Fig. 1).
The barrier consists of a welded steel frame 1. The steel frame is made up of the following parts: a base plate 2, frame rear 3, frame front 4 and a lock column 5. The next step is to insert the swivel arm 6 with lock 7 into the steel frame , The rotating arm is connected to the cylinder unit 9 via an axis 8. In order to facilitate the opening of the barrier 10, counterweights 11 are mounted at the end of the rotating arm.
So that nobody can injure themselves at the barrier, it is clad with sheet metal.
The barrier is now ready for use on a private road.
Depending on the width of the customer street, the barrier arm 12 must be shortened.
5. Representation of the invention
The barrier is normally closed and locked (drawing shown without a cladding panel, Fig. 2).
- By unlocking the lock 7 and manually lifting the barrier, a cylinder unit 9 arranged in the system is actuated.
- This stroke movement presses a liquid from one half of the cylinder via a line 13 into the other half of the cylinder.
- After opening, the barrier begins to close again due to the counterweight 11.
- So that the closing process does not take place too quickly, the liquid is displaced via a second line 15 provided with a throttle valve 14.
The line which allows the liquid to flow through when opened is closed by a check valve 16 during the closing process.
- After a definable angle (via eccentric)
a lever valve 17 located in an additional line is actuated, which increases the line cross section and accelerates the rest of the closing process.
- The barrier locks and closes automatically.
